Since there is lack of possibilities to manage the own created topic, would be possible in the future to

Remove sh*tposts

I could see why deleting posts could be a problem in some cases,

but being able to rename & lock our threads? Seems like a good idea, even if there's a set limit to name changes etc.

Maybe even the ability to move the thread directly should you accidently post it in the wrong place, but once again, I could see that there's a possibility that could cause some issues too.

Nevertheless, just an idea to think about I guess.

I don't think this is really such a good idea.

An ability to delete and remove posts from threads is going to empower and over inflate such characters as Troll Cruise and a few others that would abuse the system.  They'd end up creating a 'false impression' on their threads.

As for locking and deleting, it's only one report away on any thread and sometimes the staff / mods, need to archive material themselves.  Not giving them that ability would lower their enforcement powers and they may miss a key point to act.

I don't think anything really needs to change.

Lock will be a great option for those who isn't interested in their mod anymore, renaming will come handy if we misspelled the topic or simply if we think other name would be good.

As for deleting posts, honestly it'll not be a good option, I'll recommend that option to the staffs.

As others have said, I think locking and renaming our own threads is a very good idea, but I don't agree with removing replies to our threads.

There's no need to remove replies unless they break rules, in which case you can just use the report button.

Locking and renaming threads would be useful for people where the thread is ostensibly theirs - e.g. mods, concept thread, contest threads, crew threads etc. but for the majority of threads being general discussion it doesn't make as much sense; there's a little workaround that some people can do to lock their own threads, and in practise, all it does is result in people stopping a discussion for pointless reasons, which kinda goes against the point of a forum.

As a global implementation I can't really say it makes sense because of that, but allowing it for specific sections seems a lot more viable - if it's possible in the first place.

As for removing posts, I've seen the amounts of petty/dumb reports people make - this ain't gonna work :p

Locking/renaming (limited) your own threads sounds good. Especially in the mods section. Forget about removing posts tho, it's just ridiculous.
