In this topic, you can submit your OpenIV localization. If you are familiar with GitHub, you can submit your localization in this repository.

Also, if you have any issues with translation OpenIV into your language like small buttons, not fitting size of text boxes etc. Please report your issues in this topic with screenshots.

Hi,

Three issues with the French translation :

• In the model viewer, both buttons are not rather wide :

 

• In the texture viewer, "A.P. transparent" is shorter, but not very understandable, the correct text should be "Arrière-plan transparent" but this box is not wide enough :

• And finally, also in the model viewer, when we click on "[ More information ]" :

Another issue with versioning the translation files. When I upload a translation at GitHub (I created it for example for build 209), you use it in Build 210. OpenIV then tells the user that the translation is outdated. However, in that way a translation can never become up to date unless you let us translate the software BEFORE releasing a new build. I highly recommend to change the outdated / up to date system because of that.

The version of the translation files is not equal to OpenIV build number.
For example OpenIV 2.9 have translation file version as 290 it always be that way for all builds of 2.9 it will not be changed with maintance updates.

@KrazyMonkey please always upload all files from your translation, otherwise I can miss something.
Btw, I will not change the flag, we need keep them all in the same style, and we will change then in future for new UI.
So, if anyone knows good flag pack in flat/metro/material design style with suitable licence and file format (PNG, all same square size) please share link here.

I am currently working on the Italian translation and will not update the Portuguese translation for now.
