101% Guide

I just spent a couple hours researching the information needed to set a criteria for a true 101% save. Absolutely everything that can be done (and tracked), is here.

RULES:
1. NO "ASSUMED" GOALS. FOR EXAMPLE, IT IS ASSUMED THAT DRIVING SCHOOL WILL ALREADY BE COMPLETED BECAUSE IT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ALL STORY MISSIONS.
2. NO ARBITRARY GOALS. FOR EXAMPLE, "Longest Wheelie: 30" IS ARBITRARY, SINCE YOU COULD GET 31, OR 32, ETC. ALL REQUIREMENTS LISTED HERE ARE A HARD LIMIT THAT CANNOT POSSIBLY BE BESTED.
3. NO VARIABLES. FOR EXAMPLE, IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO HAVE MAXIMUM MUSCLE SINCE CJ CAN STARVE AND LOSE MUSCLE.
4. GOALS MUST BE VERIFIABLE. FOR EXAMPLE, "Drive every car once" IS NOT A VERIFIABLE GOAL, SINCE IT CANNOT BE PROVEN BY LOOKING AT THE SAVE FILE.

By "Information" I mean those icons you can pick up. There's one at every hospital, and all of them disappear once you pick just one of them up. It's what gives you that long cutscene about dying when you die for the first time. Same goes for police stations. There's another icon that teaches you about replying to people's comments on the streets - it's located under the bridge next to Ryder's house in Grove Street.

 

The Luck stat can be seen in your stats menu. It won't pop up when you increase it (unlike the other skills), but you can check your progress in the stats menu. It doesn't do anything, it's just a number. You can increase it by gambling in casinos.

 

Your progression will not go beyond 100%. This list is just for people like me who want to do absolutely everything there is to do, even after achieving 100% :).

For "101%", you shouldn't forget about the 6 levels of Bloodring, not just the first one.

Your progression will not go beyond 100%. This list is just for people like me who want to do absolutely everything there is to do, even after achieving 100% :)


It can go beyond 100% if you decide to duplicate missions. I haven't tested that personally but I'm 99,99% sure it does.

For "101%", you shouldn't forget about the 6 levels of Bloodring, not just the first one.

That's already included, at the bottom of the 101% list :p.

 

It can go beyond 100% if you decide to duplicate missions. I haven't tested that personally but I'm 99,99% sure it does.

Maybe, but this is all assuming you're not using glitches or anything like that. If you're doing mission dupes to get past 100%, then you might as well just modify your save data at that point lol.

Fooking's question brings up an interesting idea though. I've read 110% guides before - a list of everything that can be done. Your 101% topic seems to be a subset of that idea. But what is the highest completion percentage a save can display if exploits are employed? A question for another topic perhaps.

 

I'm still a little confused about your lists.

 

Why wouldn't the safehouses be listed under the 100% section? Each purchase increases the completion percentage one notch.

 

rubregg posted a record of 300:00 for Bloodring. What's the total time 6:00 all about?

 

IIRC, Luck is increased by collecting horseshoes -- and does nothing.

 

Only Grove Street, the two LS hospitals (paired) and the LSPD have info pickups, Good thing too. The pickup pool is full enough as it is.

 

Is there a place for the video games on your list?

Nice guide but the safehouses are indeed required for 100% the game.

Everytime you "pass" Bloodbowl it adds 1 minute to the timer, with 6:00 being the last objective. I guess after "level 6" you can infinitely continue, although I doubt it as you will starve after less than 300 minutes.

If you'd dupe/triple all the missions which are safely dupeable sithout blips, and triple all the safehouses, I guess you can reach about 150%

Wow, that is quite interesting. It seems like something people who are interested in Starter Saves would enjoy the idea of too. This would require an immense amount of research and testing though. Someone should post a topic about it :p.

Whoops, my bad. I didn't think purchases were required for 100%. I'll correct this. Thanks.

That's true, but the 6:00 is as far as the game tracks. You can go as far as you want, but there's no way to prove it just by looking at the save file.

That is also true. Luck doesn't do anything, but it can be seen in the stats. If there's something to be maxed out, it belongs on this list :D.

Do you know if these are all independent? For example, if I pick up one of the Los Santos hospital pickups, does the other one disappear? Or do I have to collect them both separately?

If you're doing mission dupes to get past 100%, then you might as well just modify your save data at that point lol.

 

This.  No point in keeping track or records of anything, if all you're going to do is glitch it to the extremes and call it a good Save, lol

 

Nice Guide, btw.  But yeah, it's how I feel.  If you're going to duplicate every Mission, get a bunch of Rare random AP Vehicles with a Conversion, then Save Editor is your best friend...

If you're going to duplicate every Mission, get a bunch of Rare random AP Vehicles with a Conversion, then Save Editor is your best friend...

Oh, interesting. I'll change the wording to reflect what I actually meant, then: the maximum time limit that Blood Bowl advances to is 6:00. I thought that the statistic recording the amount of time you've spent there wouldn't go above 6:00 either. Thanks.
