San Fierro is based on Driver SF and Watch Dogs 2?

Started to work since yesterday on the first Interior.

 

Namely the Gant Bridge Visitor Center.

One of the heaviest part of this mod, the Gant Bridge is finished.
What i could still do is add some details, and improve the lower deck slightly.

Here is a preview of the whole bridge

I also want to mention my Insta Acc., where I will now post pictures of my finished models, and will go more into the details of these models. And if i have enough progress, i will possibly make Cinematics.

 

 

However, I will not show any progress there, only models that have already been shown.

Anyone who actively supports me, whether in the forum or Insta will be listed later in the credits, since feedback and suggestions for improvement is something important for me, so I can continue motivated to work on the mod ^ ^

I gotta look around my pics since ive been to various parts of San Francisco over the years. as for the Roundhouse cafe, I have not actually been there yet sadly.

Started to work since yesterday on the first Interior.

Actually using this as a place where players could actually buy clothing related to San Fierro/Gant Bridge would be an interesting idea.

here are some "Non licensed" San Francisco clothing I bought that would probably fit the San Fierro style with a bit of retexturing.

Interestingly, someone made a photosphere on Google Maps of the interior, which can be used as a reference. The problem is, it's only a portion of it and there aren't more spheres in it. I wasn't sure if you had seen it yet, but here's a link to it:

also I went through my late grandmothers pictures and found a few shots of the Presidio and the surrounding bay waters near the Golden Gate Bridge from back in 2004, I think they could possibly be useful

I would like to see a chinatown in San Fierro, like it was in GTA SA. Obviously, it has to be a bigger than what we have seen it in SA. Btw I would love to see some sort of Mythbusters easter egg, perhaps you could make their workshop near the docks. Imported some of my Models to GTA V.

 

Now you can see a bit more how it looks like outside.

 

Textures, and Material Shaders are unfinished of course, and not all of my finished Models were imported

Add a hidden sign in Gant Bridge just like in San Andreas. Also, making some San Fierro 69ers souvenirs would be a great idea.

Damit kannst du richtig nice die Map editieren so wie in MED. Nur ist halt noch etwas in Entwicklungsphase.

Nur komme ich leider bis jetzt damit nicht ganz zurecht.

 

Ich habe es bis jetzt nur 1 mal versucht, und direkt aufgegeben :D

Liegt auch daran, da ich erstmals ein großen Teil von Paradisio fertigstellen möchte, bevor ich das ganze nach GTA V importiere werde.

 

Zumal ich mir auch vieles angucken muss, wie die collision aufgebaut ist, wie man die LOD Models importiert, wie man eine Statische Reflektion den Objekten zuweist, wie man light bulbs erstellt etc..

 

Und ich glaube es lohnt sich erst dann das alles anzugucken, wenn ich auch wirklich später etwas großes zeigen kann.

 

Gerade bin ich viel am planen, da es wirklich schwer ist, San Fierro kleiner als Los Santos nach zu konstruieren, da ich nicht die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten auslassen möchte, und Los Santos nicht gerade groß ist.

But why do you want to make the San Fierro map smaller than Los Santos? Woun't it be todally amazing to make it exactly big like the map of Watch Dogs 2? Its diversified then.

Unser Ziel ist es halt, die Bay Area an die HD Universe anzupassen.

Und Los Angeles ist nun mal um einiges größer als San Francisco ^^

 

Und bzgl. der Watch Dogs 2 map, sie scheint zwar groß und abwechslungsreich zu sein, aber ich will mich überhaupt nicht an Watch Dogs orientieren, da Ubisoft sehr kleine Fehler bzgl. der Map gemacht hat.

Ist zwar nichts großes, aber ich will später nicht die selben Fehler wie Ubisoft machen :D

 

Lustigerweise hat z.B Ubisoft schon das Transbay Gebäude in San Francisco umgesetzt, und das Gebäude ist irl derzeitig noch im Aufbau.

Ist zwar was tolles, aber lustigerweise wurde das Gebäude Design Konzept etwas umgeändert, das heißt dass das Transbay Gebäude in Watch Dogs 2 nicht mehr ganz der Realität entspricht, wenn es fertiggestellt wird.

Zudem hat Watch Dogs 2 meiner Meinung nach einfach die coolsten Dinge ignoriert, wie das Bart Bahn System und der große Caltrain Zugdepot.

 

San Francisco arbeitet auch noch an anderen Projekten wie an einem Hochgeschwindigkeits Zug, was ich auch umsetzten möchte.

 

Gut, liegt vllt daran das ich Züge immer was tolles in einem Spiel finde :D

 

 

Aber ich konstruiere SF lieber so wie ich es kenne nach ^^

ich schreib auch in Englisch:
when you put something in the water, then it get's darker.
and because the bridge is standing since so many years in the water.
it should get dark under the water surface.
and the bridge should reach the ground because you can dive in the game, and a seeing a massive Bridge just "floating" in the water, would be a bit unrealistic.

How do you mean it should be darker under the Waterlevel?
 
The bridge is above the Waterlevel ^^
ich schreib auch in Englisch:
when you put something in the water, then it get's darker.
and because the bridge is standing since so many years in the water.
it should get dark under the water surface.
and the bridge should reach the ground because you can dive in the game, and a seeing a massive Bridge just "floating" in the water, would be a bit unrealistic.
 
So you mean this Concrete?

We will also put some moos on it and Scratches.
 
We want to make it underwater as well as the quality of R* made in Los Santos.
With Eastereggs, sunken planes, cars, boats etc..
yeah that was, make the concrete a little darker because of the water, because it's a bit bright.
and don't forget about the "hole" that was even in gta sa as a sign of the heavy earthbreak in the 90s.

das ist ein unglaublich großartiges Projekt, und ich glaube das ihr das schafft.
kleine Frage: achtet ihr auch so auf Details wie R* , wenn ja: denkt ihr dran die Textur bei der Gant Bridge unter dem Wasserspiegel dunkler zu machen?

The underwater part i will make in the future. 

 

The Textures are not finished, this is only a prototype, i dont started really to work on the textures yet

Due some private problems the development from my site is firstly on ice.

Hey, fürs Mapping solltest du mal den GTA 5 richtigen Map Edior benutzen.

Damit kannst du richtig nice die Map editieren so wie in MED. Nur ist halt noch etwas in Entwicklungsphase.

Nur komme ich leider bis jetzt damit nicht ganz zurecht.

 

Ich habe es bis jetzt nur 1 mal versucht, und direkt aufgegeben :D

Liegt auch daran, da ich erstmals ein großen Teil von Paradisio fertigstellen möchte, bevor ich das ganze nach GTA V importiere werde.

 

Zumal ich mir auch vieles angucken muss, wie die collision aufgebaut ist, wie man die LOD Models importiert, wie man eine Statische Reflektion den Objekten zuweist, wie man light bulbs erstellt etc..

 

Und ich glaube es lohnt sich erst dann das alles anzugucken, wenn ich auch wirklich später etwas großes zeigen kann.

 

Gerade bin ich viel am planen, da es wirklich schwer ist, San Fierro kleiner als Los Santos nach zu konstruieren, da ich nicht die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten auslassen möchte, und Los Santos nicht gerade groß ist.

 

Gut, nun, das Tool wird öfters geupdatet. Schau mal vorbei wie es jetzt ist. Es gibt schöne Erneuerungen. Ich helfe codewalker dabei die ganzen Fehler auszumärzen.

 

Aber warum willst du die San Frierro Map kleiner als Los Santos? Wäre es nicht total geil, wenn es genau so groß wie in Watch Dogs 2 wäre? Ist doch dann schön abwechlungsreich.

Schau auch öfters mal hier im GIMS EVO Thema vorbei! Da erfährt man ziemlch viel darüber. Am sonsten, frag mal GTARandom

And with regard to the Watchdogs 2 map, it seems to be big and varied, but I do not want to orient myself at all at Watchdogs, since Ubisoft made very small mistakes with respect to the map.
Is not something big, but I will later not make the same errors as Ubisoft: D

Ubisoft, for example, has already implemented Transbay in San Francisco, and the building is currently under construction.
Although it was great, but funnily, the building design concept has changed somewhat, which means that the Transbay building in Watchdogs 2 is no longer quite true when it is finished.
In addition, Watch Dogs 2 simply ignored the coolest things, like the Bartbahn system and the large Caltrain train depot.

But I prefer SF rather than I know it ^ ^

 

Very interesting, i will stay to this topic to and see whats going on. But sadly, i really would appericate a big San Francisco map like WD2.

This is Awesome, would be nice if you can add some real neighborhoods, like(Fillmoe)Fillmore, or The Mission 16th-24th street, Hunters Point Projects, Potrero Hill Projects, Sunnydale Projects,or The Tenderloin so people can see real SF not just tourist attractions, I live here in San Francisco don't be fooled it's not all nice
