We achieved our goal of converting all weapons (that doesn't require special features) and we made lots of custom weapons, that means one less thing on the to-do list.

Some weapons wouldn't work properly so they were scrapped, for example Bully's slingshot.

THE CUSTOM WEAPONS WERE MADE FROM SCRATCH ("COUNTER STRIKE" WEAPONS WERE MADE FROM IMAGES OF REAL WEAPONS, NOT CONVERTED FROM ANY NON R* GAME)

Any chance to San Andreas beta weapons? Like the Nail Bat and the Skateboard (at least as a weapon. I mean, all of the assets are already in the game, just need to write all the data to the corresponding files).

Yes, the beta weapons are done, but as the nailbat/longer sawnoff/etc. are from manhunt they will be added as Manhunt weapons; skateboard/camera/cutscene knifes/glock... are already done

You should edit the Stories Weapons textures. Stories' textures are generally darker compared to VC/SA Weapon Textures.

Do pedestrians get the added weapons when you use the "Give pedestrians weapons" cheat?

 

Edit: Holy bananas! Those custom weapons look great! I was really hoping to see all the weapons from your workshop added in, and I'm glad you delivered.

Also I have a question. Is these custom weapons had their own sounds, and what sounds? I mean, awp (and other weapons appeared in cs) may have sound from counter strike (1.6, source, go, nevermind)

The landmine seems like it would add a lot to the mayhem the game currently offers. I'm assuming once you figure out how to get it working, AI will not be able to use it (maybe 6 star wanted level?), which is fine by me. But one thing I'm concerned about (first world problem concern), is that you will only make them available to buy in Vice City as Dkluin has stated VC/VCS weapons will only be sold in VC. Hopefully you guys decide to make this available to purchase in all, or most cities, as it seems more it's own "type" of weapon than any other thing being added.

 

Once it's added, hopefully it leads to more "trap" type items/weapons to be added, like bear traps, etc.

It will be like satchel chargers, but without a detonator. If the object is spawned, then loop through the vehicle pool and check it's coordinates. If it's within a certain range to the weapon, blow up, otherwise go to next vehicle.

I hope you can find a way for it to work with pedestrians too. But that does sound reasonable enough to me.

How about LCS M21 and San Andreas sniper rifles but without scopes? You got a lot of snipers but only one standard SA rifle without scope. I thought it would be cool to add a few more, maybe even a custom rifle like mosin or a nice ruger bolt action hunting rifle?

They're not different enough, i planned to add every weapon that has a well known unique design, tbh, GTA rifles with no scopes or the Ruger hunting rifles are just too normal

 

I may search for some old rifles though

Just got an old weapons book from my room and hears some suggestions to old rifles...

*Spencer Rifle 1863

*Henry Model 1860

Winchester Model 1866

*Lee-Metford 1888

*Berthier MLE 1916

*Martini Henry conversion 1888

*Krag Jorgensen M1888

*Le Mat Revolver Rifle 1872

*Colt Revolving Rifle 1855
