Blue's just the projects code name.

 

Anyways - Need to learn a bit more about skyscraper designing (And large building designs) then I can get the cities show on the road. Cannot wait to be done with the city because I'm much more of a suburb / small town designer. Each building will take an estimated week of work, few days of design including scaling and placement, then adding / making  textures for it then finishing up by prelighting and placing it in game.

Aaah awesome! I was big fan of the old San Andreas version of Gostown map that also featured Vice City! I've been looking for links to the old version for a while, I'm really glad to see it back! I wish you the best of luck with this mod and looking forward to see more pictures ;)

Progress is quite slow at the moment due to school, but I'll have some huge updates soon. For those who didn't take the hint, a modified version of the Chrysler building will be featured some where.

Strayed from plans quite a bit in a few places (Hugely to keep the size and poly count reasonable for the Gostown World) but also to let my own imagination take play on it as my first real model I'll be adding to my map so I can just show in general what can be expected from me. Going to finish up details and texturing then I'll post a picture.

And here she is, didn't really do the detail part yet but it'll come.

Did a few more updates such as adding two enterable rooms at the top, and changing up the general brick texture; tomorrow I'll do a few more updates, join it with a land bit prelight and add it in game.

It'll be placed on a lot in Gostown 5 somewhere. After this I'm going to be doing the sears tower (On a request from a friend)

Current working on a new version of the Camagadon map for SA; this included prelighting and better textures - doing this with the intent of bettering myself at prelighting.

I worked on GrandCarma project as scripter.
I know some glitches about it, like some invisible walls, missing textures and missing lods.
Maybe could I help you about that !

Im actually dropping the LODs altogether, the original models are so lower poly that there's no real reason for them. I have a really crappy computer and can hit really high frames without any lag what so ever. Anyways, any questions I have on it I'll ask in PM. Don't want to get this topic too off track.

Shoot, my secondary hard drive just died meaning I just lost 12 of the buildings I had made for the city. I was planning on finishing up a last one, prelighting them then placing them in game.

Buy an SSD , it is much faster and more long lasting.

Try to find a way to recover these files.

I haven't much money to my name at the moment, also looks as if the drive is dead; it's giving the beep of death and is rattling more than it should when moved.

The disk inside of it is dead, I've had it happen before and I can feel the rattling. My cat likely slid it off my desk. I'll just redo them.

I can understand, how this is awful, when the hard drive with mod's files is dead, I hope that you're lost not so many files, good luck with your mod!

Work is kind of halted at the moment lost most of my interest in continuing after the loss of that stuff. But I'll be continuing it this summer. Have a few projects MTA sided on my hand I need to take care of first anyways.

I can appreciate that one, after losing tons of anything I often come back to the 'why am I bothering with this AGAIN' attitude sadly.

Yeah I use on board graphics but I do have an i7 in the laptop so that probably helps.

Yeah I've got an i7 with Intel's IRIS graphics and I thought that was kinda slow. That must be depressing trying to work on highly detailed models like that. 10/10 for effort I don't think anyone can argue with that!
