I seem to notice a pattern where Rockstar Games recycle character names. Can't tell if it's true or merely coincidence.
Nikko (Midnight Club II): A reckless street racer from Tokyo
Niko (Grand Theft Auto IV): Serbian guy you play as.
Nikolai (Midnight Club LA): Eastern European living the Californian dream, hangs out with Booke.
Demitri (Midnight Club II): Nikko's homie.
Dimitri (Grand Theft Auto IV): Russian mobster, a major character.
Dawkins (Midnight Club II): Nikko's homie.
Bryce Dawkins (Grand Theft Auto IV): Hypocritical politician with something to hide.
Trevor (Midnight Club LA): Trust fund baby who hangs out with Booke.
Trevor (Grand Theft Auto V): Crazy protagonist you play as.
Cheng (Midnight Club 3): Someone you race in Atlanta prefers tuners.
Cheng (Grand Theft Auto V): Chinese mobster who eats a lot of ecstasy.
Toshi (Midnight Club II): Races with Ricky.
Toshi (Midnight Club 3): A mechanic that's disliked by your contact in Tokyo, eventually gets fired.
Toshi (Midnight Club LA): Japanese racer with dreadlocks that speaks in very broken English.
I can almost guarantee if they're going to have a Japanese male character in GTA again, his name is going to be Toshi.
Chung Hee (Midnight Club LA): Americanized Korean punk rock racer.
Chung-Hee (GTA Chinatown Wars): Korean Mob drug dealer in Bohan.
Albert De Silva (Grand Theft Auto V): Michael's beta surname on casting.
Wilson Da Silva (Max Payne 3): A cop that helps Max.
Michael Da Silva (Grand Theft Auto V): Rich and miserable character we play as.
Captain Da Silva (Red Dead Redemption): Side character, controversial guy from Mexico
Moses (Midnight Club II): The very overweight guy you race in the beginning.
Moses (Grand Theft Auto V): A heist member crew that Michael and Lester knows.
Lester (Midnight Club LA): Samoan guy who races in the beach, dislikes Booke, Luxury Champ.
Lester Arnold (The Lost and Damned): Member of the Angels of Death bike gang.
Lester Leroc (Chinatown Wars): Incompetent private investigator hired by Hsin.
Lester (Grand Theft Auto V): Disabled IT guy who organizes heists.
Shon (Midnight Club II): A racer in Los Angeles that's usually found in arcade circuit races.
Shon Kikuchi (Grand Theft Auto V): Japanese gang member that you chase after in Vigilante.
Casting call of Grand Theft Auto IV in an older game.
Any of you guys spot other names used again through any R*'s games?
