It looks amazing Adus. Great job. Glad that someone still makes amazing map mods for III. When you're done with an alpha release, I'll be glad to code another script allowing you to save and spawn stuff around the map.

Loving it. I'm guessing it won't be a ghost town and you can get traffic and ped's to be moving around etc!?

Make sure there's plenty of stuff to give the place some personality, soo many older "Upstate LC" style maps have the same bland buildings everywhere with no creativity or character to the new towns/villages that are being created north of the rest of the map. This already looks more promising. :^:

I have an Idea how about instead of a new road on liberty cities land mass a new tunnel that cuts off toward the ghost town and countryside and connects to the other tunnels in shore side vale.
Its just an idea if not no big deal.

Well it's pretty safe to assume those will be open. However, you have a good point - maybe instead of connecting Portland and Upstate with a bridge it'd be more reasonable to extend Porter Tunnel?

I'm thinking that Upstate should be accesible through the SSV Tunnels only. A bridge/tunnel would be good for LC 2003 or smt like this. I'll make two probably.

Yeah, when it gets ported to GTA:U it'll be just a matter of moving the ipls.

I would also say keeping just the tunnel from SSV being the only connection is more true to R-*'s initial vision of what it should look like. Just my thoughts.

You should definitely add some parking lots somewhere, or even places to parallel park and have cars spawn there when the time comes to do that scripting stuff. It'd be a nice change, as well as a nice way to explain where all these cars park.

Maybe add some garage like buildings somewhere so that we can have custom missions that require putting a car in a garage in countryside or on ghosttown. Maybe more import export garages for added cars.

Loving all the progress so far. And, like Silent suggested you should consider extending the porter tunnel from Portland to the Upstate or find a way through the mountains to make roads. It'll be much easier than having to go through the trouble of reaching Shoreside first.

What I was thinking was the porter tunnel at one point (preferably right at the beginning of the entrance inside of the tunnel) in portland would cut off to the right and continue under ground and come in at the inside of the tunnels north (preferably inside the middle ) of shorside vale tunnels from the right side.

I wouldn't touch the Porter Tunnel at all. Why even bother? You can simply re-build the Shoreside Vale tunnel like it was in LCS and create one way to the countryside. Simple and less time/work-consuming.

Perfect. Are you planning on setting up the info.zon to feature zone names and the likes? To be fair, I was thinking about putting a new Triad gang into Ghost Town once the GTA LC/SAxLCxVC version hits the market.

Any chance on seeing this in SA on its own? I saw in the OP that you were open to the idea of putting it in GTA Underground and while that's one way of getting it into SA, it would also be better to do a standalone version for people who don't want to monkey with the rest of the stuff GTA Underground has imo

Also any ideas for the name of the city that the Ghost Town is in? I'd suggest Carcer City since its close enough to Liberty City from what the radio said, but I dunno.

Who's saying Adus couldn't throw in some parts of Carcer or anything into this city?

I dunno tbh. I know that manhunt wasn't made to be an open world game though so that's why it looks really weird for a city, like roads with no markings, abrupt curves and dead ends you never see in American cities, etc. so maybe instead of literally taking parts of Manhunt's Carcer and throwing it in like GTA Underground, he could be more subtle about it like have a mental clink called Darkwoods, name the affluent neighborhood Wapona Hills, and so on. That's how I would do it, but again that's just me.

How about adding a sanitation department building somewhere that's where trash master could be parked.

It would give a little explanation somewhat as to where the occasional trashmaster you see in the streets comes from somewhat since there's not one parked anywhere in liberty.

As far as liberty city's land fill or trash dump I guess could be the car crusher.

Maybe you could make a landfill in the countryside
