What do you think? Can we see peyote plants in RDR 2? I think playing as animals in next gen Red Dead world will be amazing. Not like Gta V,more detailed animal skins, textures, more detailed biome and takes huge area of map and likely more animal animations than Gta V.

Think you've mixed up your canines with your cacti...

Peyote or coyote? If it's the latter, then if the original RDR is any indicator, it's safe to say we'll be able to spot and hunt coyotes in RDR2 as well. Hopefully wild animals will have a more prominent role than before.

I'd love to play as a coyote under the influence of peyote!

I think they will include a lot more stuff like this, this time around. Would be cool, since I am sure it will have a much larger amount of animals than the first Redemption and GTA V.

I think it would be a good feature to add, mainly because this is the only realistic way a player is able to get an aerial view of the beautiful map (when flying as a bird). It's the next best thing to planes.

It would definitely make more sense in RDR than in GTA though. More likely you'd find peyote plants in the RDR world and then have hallucinogenic effects with it.

I don't think so, RDR is more realistic and serious than GTA.

Yeah id hope so. I can see a side mission where some native american gives you a quest to find all of them. Flying as a bald eagle in the west is so american and free lol id also love to play as a big ass grizzly or wolf. They wouldnt be too out of place in rdr2. The american buffalo will finally get its revenge

Peyotes and Coyotes, I'd like to see both. Peyotes would make more sense in a RDR Game over GTA. Drugging someone silently or forcibly to gag him up would be useful.

Definetly however make them less goofy, like make them not play that annoying music and add them for the player to explore and hunt rather than a glorified ped.

I want RDR to be more serious and realistic than GTA V or GTA lore in general, so no, I wouldn't welcome peyotes as they are pretty much R*'s joke.

btw...

Spoiler

lets say there are only 7 peyote cactuses in the whole game. You can gather tham, and use wherever You want. Specific location, progress, character and hidden decisions delivers easteregg experiences.

It sounds better if we get a chance to play multiple characters, actually 7.

Spoiler
And every character should have personal 7-step trip sidestory, going deeper, and deeper.

One protagonist should have few, 7-step hidden paths to discover and interact, but also few randomly genrated nonevents causing blackouts.
