KGB archiver honestly takes more time to compress then it takes to upload/download.

@LennyH: Is there still going to be a non-imvehft version?

But the time is worth it..Its just 1 time.But its good for compresseing big files.Like Gbs

 

IMO, 7zip is better.

There is nothing much to show in a screenshot, really. My PC is way to sh*t to record without a great amount of FPS drop so I really can't showcase some stuff with screenshots. I'll post screenshots nevertheless as I progress but you won't be able to see the effects at their full potential.

@LennyH: Is there still going to be a non-imvehft version?

 

I have tons of retextures and edits to do so archiving is the last thing on my mind. The size won't be larger than previous versions, maybe even smaller.

And what do you mean by a non-imvehft version? imvehft textures come as a plugin with this mod, you are free to install them or not.

Sorry if there were nothing to hear for a while. I'll release a version which I finished in 24 hours or sooner. That'll include some texture fixes and changes as well as gta 4 blood. The fires are taking so much time as I don't have a good resource to make a base texture.

Maybe do an update for the fire textures later and provide the mod with the "old" fire textures? That way you could invest the time you need for the proper version without making people wait and bugs can be reported on what is already there.

I'm looking forward to the blood (will it have matching textures for particle.txd as well?).

That's exactly what I'm gonna do. The new blood will only use two new textures in effectsPC.txd and as for particle.txd, there are some blood textures in there for foot prints and blood pools. None of the effects use particle.txd.

Well the blood effects doesnt work with imfx so i am not using it, any solution for it? While using imfx when i shot people sparks comes out not blood.

Those are actually blood, but their color is not applied for some weird reason. It works fine for me but I know a fix for this. I'll resolve it in a quick update soon.

Use the mod in Singleplayer, SAMP is nothing but issues when it comes to mods.

This mod was mainly optimized for samp. Works like a charm for me but it seems like some texture coloring issues occurred which is fixable.

Woot Woot, guess what.

 

Soon Project Overhaul and Roman will go to play some bowling in GTA IV.

 

Maybe feed some people to Altruist Cult members with Trevor too.

 

So. Yes, I'm gonna make Project Overhaul for Both GTAs on Range engine, being IV and V. IV is almost done, only file configurations left. Just started the V one, started with rain, look promising so far.

PS: Project Rage Overhaul (PRO) will be a full package, exactly like the SA one, including plugins etc.. for other popular mods.

It took me a whole day to finish the rain. The outcome is perfect now, it has its own bump map which makes it very detailed and realistic.

And added a few new effects, AP pistol now has a new muzzle effect.

And finally, the water. Crystal clear depending on where the water is, foam is now much more detailed, along with sea waves and shore waves.

My Rage Projects will be on hold while I finish the GTA SA one. Hopefully, once it's done, it'll be the latest update for SA's Overhaul unless something very interesting catches my attention.

Been trying to get my hands on Just Cause 3 effects. Managed to extract the smoke textures so far. Just Cause 3's engine is complicated, almost every effect is done via the engine and less textures were used, but I'll be digging for more and I'll be using JC3's textures where they fit.

It changes all cars current paintjob to your raindrop texture on rainy weathers

For now only the cars that have a custom paintjob (those who have an extra .txd called [carname][number].txd (i.e. savanna1.txd))  change its textures.But that should easly fixable.

 

Moonloader is required.

Sure thing, I'm also remaking it into 8K, you can use that too once done if you'd like to, but this raindrop texture looks the best if used with ENB series, since the original game doesn't have any real-time reflections.

Skygfx has real-time reflections with the "Neo" settings.
