the first two are gta 3 shotgun and grenade respectively ( i dont know if they were intended to be in the game or they were just placeholders) and the third one seems to be an early model for the uzi

Yeah, I was going to add the missing billboard but I don't know what billboard it is, as for a guess I'd say it's the Exploder billboard, but it would be flipped (so text would be inverted and all) so I didn't add it.
Though, to be fair the A&E billboard was a guess too! I just saw the green from it and got instantly reminded of an advertisement from GTA3, which has the same green colour. I think that colour of sky is in the final version?
 

I may have missed it, but how do you plan on remaking Northern Part of Escobar International Airport?

I'll probably use and edit/improve the BETA Airport I already made. I'll look over the BETA Map some more in the future when I get around to editing it and see if there's anything to drastically change or not.
 

From ''restored'' you mean they are added and not replacing any weapons, right? And also, is Grenade Launcher ''restored'' using MVL or by scripting? If these counts as dumb questions then I am sorry.. I can't help myself. Oh and also, nice work, Kalvin.

Yup, added, not replaced, using MVL.
 

I want to ask... The shadows disappears looking at them from some camera angles as VCLF fixed ones? If not, you should post them into VCLF, come on!

They disappear at the far left corner facing them (from the picture's point of view). I'll have to look into it, but a quick guess right now would be that the bounding box in the collision needs to be bigger.

Looks like u just upscaled it and used a lot of blur.

That's probably because the texture itself is upscaled due to small size and high resolution.
 

Kalvin is busy liking other's posts and being silent all the time. For God sake, SPEAK PIGEON!

There will be slower replies and progress will be in chunks this time, unlike SA BETA where it was constant. I'm making this in more of a relaxed approach compared to it, so there won't be big month gaps where I'll stop due to working on it constantly.

Kalvin, do not use LC license plates for VC vehicles, they were put temporarily anf it doesn't have anything related to beta gameplay.

I think accuracy, immersion > logic if you're doing a proper beta mod. Up to Kalvin it is. :)

As for the progress; impressive! You are looking quite deep into the source material there, Kal. Very good.

@Kalvin Good progress! And using MVL? It means that this mod will have those MVL future too? Like realistic shadow and other stuff? Though I didn't saw the shadow in the screenshot. Maybe you disabled it? Sorry to sound like a noob but right now, my brain is malfunctioning.. if that makes sense.

a thing which is not related to the beta but should be looked into, the revolver in the game ejects spents shells after every shot also pump shotgun IIRC eject the shells instantly after every shot ( same happens on SA) while in gta 3 it correctly got spented after pumping 

 

 

also now related to beta, pre relase image of ''Guardian Angels'' note the poorly detailed uzi (maybe lod?) and Diaz car is a Washington

The brown shirt looks really nice, but the red shirt looks a bit strange, it looks like you've just edited the hue of the original texture and that's (you've made the white clouds red too, in the refrence screen they look white) othe than that nice progress man, though I will always remember Tommy by his blue shirt

Ey Kal for the red shirt why not rip Kent Paul's shirt texture and play around with the hue and saturation that should do the trick.

It's not Washington, it's Admiral. I remember seeing a shot of this cutscene from a different angle and it was indeed an Admiral.
