I definitely have. Most of the airport and Docks area crashes almost immediately.

 

Also this should really have a working MP. that's one of the main things i expected and was really excited for. another cool thing would be music, or at least dancing peds in the malibu, i'm actually impressed how well the interiors turn out, since most mods like this either choose to remove most interiors, or they just barely work and are riddled with collision errors.

It's really weird how several people have still reported crashes at the Airport even though it won't crash for me anymore.Can't really figure out why.

As for the online client, I wasn't sure whether to release it or not since it was using a modified version of the outdated IVMP.I can't afford hosting a server 24/7, either.

Found a few interesting things when looking into the maps file, i was trying to see what caused the game to crash.

 

First thing i saw was that the interior for the lawyers office and the bank were corrupted, another thing i noticed is that sometimes going to the airport works, but the second you go near the airport interior it automatically crashes

maybe this is why..i mean this looks nothing like the airport interior in VC, looks kinda like a car parking lot or a hotel hallway or something.

 

I'm probably wrong though.

Well, It works for me. For @sprunkadelic as well, so It should work for you too. You've probably done something wrong.                                                Further more, The rage seems extremely awesome, and smooth to play. Specially the music, and the timecyc is actually kinda cool. The HD Hud, and weapons have completely cached my eyes. Talking about the music, It's honestly good, to listen to VC FM, along with VCS FM as well! This mod seems completely fascinating for me. The races are awesome, and we can now go inside many interiors as well. Not every rage mod allows us to do, so.The easter egg patch is also a lot interesting, and astounding in It's own ways. Textures are well-off( cool enough, and more HD ). I really had fun with the Minigun, and the Chain-saw! along with the tank, and the hunter( They are really astounding! ), so yeah I honestly appreciate your work, Lexyz. 

In the end, I'll just say that, Sprunk boi the rage is still updating, and It's not completed( Since It's a updating-mod, there would be likely some missing interiors: isn't that's why the topic 's name starts with "WIP..."), so if you're having any problem, I would actually request you to talk with the owner, face-to-pace in PM, rather than blowing up the whole topic with your objections. It really looks like a mess.. :)

Well, It works for me. For @sprunkadelic as well, so It should work for you too. I'm just used to stating my opinions about what i like and don't like, just giving analysis's and such

 

and for what the mod is worth, it's pretty good.

That's weird, because i removed the VC peds, and I use Vanilla IV peds and it still crashes for me..

 

is it because certain peds exist, like if i remove let's say M_Y_Boho, that could possibly fix it?

11/27/2017... 30 minutes ago I'd say this would've been another casual night of being awake doing practically nothing, IF it weren't for me deciding to actually dig down deeper into youtube and dump in a few search queries with "Vice City" in the search bar. I stumbled upon a gameplay with a name that sparked my interest.

For those who are interested: 

 

Surely enough some memories of this project managed to bubble up inside my head which led to the decision of me actually clicking on that video and minutes after led me to the description of the video that CLEARLY stated - "The project has been abandoned but is being continued here". This. From this moment on 11/27/2017 became one of the most memorable dates this year, feels like a f*cking Christmas present in all honesty. It made me get out of bed, boot up my PC, open up GtaForums and dig up my account ( this included password resetting as well ), just so I can seize this precious moment to express my COMPLETE and UTTER GRATITUDE to Lexyz. and his team. Over the years I've had my fair share of Grand Theft Auto, spanning across all of the communities, I've currently retired for good as a VC:MP and LU dev/beta tester, I've seen the ins and outs of all the games and as much as I would love to get involved with this project, I just don't have the time, unfortunately. What's left for me is to only enjoy it and support it, so once again I would like to stop time for moment and Thank You guys who are dedicated and hardworking to making history and granting unique opportunities for hardcore fans of the franchise, just like this one. Just know that someone somewhere truly appreciates what you are doing.

Ditch the outdated and bad IVMP client for the superior CitizenIV client. It has traffic, pedestrians and cops just like Singleplayer/default IV Multiplayer.

Hey this mod is awesome!! Was really impressed with the optimization compared to the Gta ivsa beta 3
Got 2 questions!!!!
First I wana say f**k the haters and complainers it's hard to make a good mod like this people need to stop complaining so much this is a great mod and if they think they can do better then gi ahead it's a difficult process,

Appreciate the mod! I had a question about the minigun?? How do I spawn it or where do I find it ?
And in the next update maybe you can do some kind of controller support becuasw there's a bug where if I use the controller the aim hud doesn't appear and if I click the mouse it does?? Kinda strange tried to fix myself but no luck,

Considering that no one is willing to help with the mod, you shouldn't expect any major updates in the future.In all honesty, there is nothing else I could do to improve upon 1.0 other than some minor fixes.Frank hasn't yet returned to script more missions.

@FearlessFox, try either ALT or Z.It can also be spawned with the simple native trainer as "episodic 24"

@B Dawg I actually thought CitizenIV died long ago...?Thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out some time.

Yeah it's a shame people are complaining too much, I wish I could help but all I know is simple modding like swapping weapons and cars etc,
But I have to say you did an amazing job I really wana thank you for this mod bro good work I LOVE the rage engine for gta 4 so much that I wanted almost every gta with it mostly sanandreas,
I bearly got gta ivsa to work properly as it would always crash... Wish someone fixed the bugs and did a beta 4 /:

But yeah goodluck man there was a couple issues I had I'd like to point out

1. Sometimes the Player loads invisible when loading a save file, sometimes I have to kill myself or restart the game for Player to be visible

2.The radio volume is Way too High compared too the sfx volume if I turn it up it only gets worse and the settings volume adjuster does not work

3. A tip from me on the new Sprint animation you installed makes the Tommy runn way too slow it's actually quite annoying, I had to swap out the animation file responsible for the players movement system, so a tip for others downloading the mod

4. Aim hud only works with mouse and doesn't spawn on controller

5. Change clothes icon would crash the game, and at this point icon is invisible


Those are all the issues I had and game crashing by the airport... But other than that Eveeything is Really good !
Just wanted to help mention some buggs as a bit of advice, I support you on this mod friend keep up the good work !

For me the radio volume actually fits with the sfx volume pretty well.

Aim hud won't work with a controller because it's a script made specifically for keyboard and mouse usage.

And also some kind of volume adjuster or can you point me were in the files to adjust the radio volume since I can't in the settings

I don't know if you ever found anyone to make you a trailer. But I'd love the opportunity, in fact I downloaded your TC to use the editor to make some videos for fun, stuff that would recapture the magic of when I first played it. I do have experience with not only editing, and trying to keep it cinematic, but I've also used the rockstar editor, now I'll include a few examples of my work, but as for my passion with the neo-80s, recently I've been really revisting Miami Vice and playing Vice City, and just soaking in the atmosphere, the new resurgence of Neo-Neon-Noir has been a blessing, with films like Drive, and even Rockstars own inspirations like Michael Mann, The Warriors (I like to think GTA is set in some universe similar to the warriors, or the same one, since Sam and Dan said this was their favorite film growing up, and most influential on their style, although I do seem to be having trouble, when I access the editor and try to edit the footage it seems the editor's text and UI is completely blank for me.

 

A shootout where I was inspired by John Wick. Made in GTA 5

 

Also I am a filmmaker in my actual life, I have dabbled in directing and editing, I have made one music video before, was going for a chaotic but calm atmosphere. It's about a serial killer's first kill.

As for some concepts, I was always captivated by the scene in the pilot episode of Miami Vice where they get ready to roll to the showdown to In The Air Tonight.

I honestly think with your art direction, the way you're revamping Vice, I think it'd be nice to try to go for a nice a calm mellow trailer, something that captures that weird twilight dawn, when you were playing it late at night, driving around in the early dawn of the game's clock, with the blue sky approaching as the night sky disappears. I think if we showed the glamour, the violence, the moodiness, the neon, but slowed it all down a bit, really mellow, capturing the end credits vibe to Vice City when it shows somber places of the city to that relaxing music.

this uzi was taken from the ballod of gay tony files , if there was a way to get the other uzi in i think this would be the best fit but for now i just replaced it with the mac 10 , its pretty freaking gangster and matches the games gangster cocaine  vibe more! 

a nice lightly tinted gold uzi looks awesome and really catches the vice city vibe

 

this uzi is of course optional but im also working on the mac 10

You should get rid of the gold tint on the UZI since it didn't have any gold tint in VC.

ill see what i can do but i dont think its necessary for now as in the game it actually looks more chrome rather  than gold , maybe due to the time cycle but 

it looks more of a silver weapon 

reason it looks kinda gold in the second photo is due to the fire and reflection

Hi. I was creating a script to have the sixth military star with Barracks, RHINOs and soldiers. Now that you have released an improved version, I will work on improving the script and you can include it in your mod. With the Hunter and RHINO functional, it will be more fun.

Several months ago I had placed those GTAIV weapons in this mod. I have even created a mod of realistic sounds for weapons, modified the statistics of the weapons and created a script to have the sixth star with the army as the original Vice City, but I could never publish it as an improvement for this mod by time. I'm glad that now all those improvements are in this version.
