I'm playing GTAV on PC, but RDR2 will probably get me to finally buy the latest tech PS4 when the time comes.  Or the PS5, depending on how long it takes to release RDR2.

I'm not buying a Copy unless there's an announcement of a PC Version.

Seriously, I'm not going to buy a PS4/Xbox One for just one Game.

I expect there to be a PC version at some point, but there's no way I'm gonna buy it when it drops.

I hope you guys aren't shafted out of some kind of new returning player bonus for those of you waiting for the PC release.

I already own a PS4 anyways.

"Hand crafted for the PS4"

You'd be silly not to play it on Sony's machine.

(Unless you only have the X1)

Buy the time this game drops I'll probably have caved and bought a PS4 for a few other console games, so I see myself getting the PS4 version.

About time I upgraded to an Xbox One. RDR2 seems like a decent reason for buying it.

Have you seen a red dead game on pc? there will be no pc version I'm afraid.

Unless it runs at 60FPS on the original PS4 or Xbone then I will wait until the end of the universe for the PC version. I've already got two consoles gathering dust, not buying a PS4 Pro/Scorpio just for this game.

I'm not sure yet because I still haven't bought a PS4 or Xbox One. I'm waiting until we find out if GTA VI will be released on this generation. I'm not buying a new console unless I can play both RDR2 and GTA VI on it.

Well, I first want to see how the game actually is, so I know if I'm buying an actual good game or just a bunch of hype, but assuming that I do buy it, I want to see if there will be any significant differences between the PS4 and PS4 Pro versions as well as the Xbox One and One S versions. If the game is merely good, I will wait for the PC release. If it is a great game that totally lives up to its expectations, then I see no reason to wait 2 years to play it and will get it on the PS4 first.

I'll hopefully play it on Xbox. I'm not sure if the Scorpio will be released by them or not.

Handcrafted for PS4 just sound like marketing speak. Essentially it will be handcrafted for both consoles to use them to their max capabilities. PS4 has a slight edge and certainly a larger catelogue of games running at 1080/60 etc. However I'm not too concerned about grapids so much. I can still see beauty in old games.

There seems to be a Sony partnership and that's great news for Sony and PS4 owners. I won't be surprised if Xbox gets something too. I notice a lot of console-specific features and bonuses make there way over to the other sidend some way or another.

XB1 without a doubt, I wouldn't have it any other way.  I just bought my XB1 and passed on the newer version because I saw absolutely no point in it.  When I upgrade to a 4k tv in the next 5-10 years I will just get whatever next gen Xbox is out at the time (or wait for it's release).

Seems like majority of players will be playing new RDR on PS4.

Definitely not true haha. 80% of the psn catalogue is low budget games and you can bet your ass Sony won't pay for all of them to be ported 4k in the future.

The only reason I bought a PS4 back in 2014 was for this game. Now I have to get a PS4 pro.

Hopefully on the Xbox Scorpio.

Gonna buy it on Scorpio. The definitive version until the inevitable PC version.

xbox one scorpio

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's not even sure if we'll see a Scorpio version at some point. It feels like people (not you guys in particular but on other forums and social media sites) often expect to play the game together with the launch of the console or early/sometime next year (or at least before the not so unlikely PC release). The Scorpio isn't just an upgrade like the PS4 Pro. The Scorpio would need it's own version of RDR2, similar to PC. That being said I think people will have to wait for RDR2 on Scorpio for a while. A release together with the PC version would make sense i guess.
