They'll announce it for PC shortly after console release. Do you people not pay attention to ANYTHING?
There are doubts on that, because everyone thought the 1st RDR would be out on PC eventually in a year or two like GTA's and all the other Rockstar games, and it's been 6 years now and nothing.
So the PC fan-base has a LOT to worry about RDR2 now.
That's true. But we should not forget how tragic Red Dead Redemption code was. It was their second game on RAGE. The first was (Tabble tenis excluded) GTA IV, which was tragic on both PC and consoles. You could clearly see that they didn't know what the f*ck they are doing. Then it took some time and... Max Payne 3 and GTA V happened. Of course, we can't tell for sure what is going to happen, but I am pretty sure that RDR2 on PC is going to happen. It's probably going to use a little bit updated GTA V engine, which isperfectly optimized for PC. Also, GTA Online has tons of players on PC (GTA V stands in Top 3 most played games on Steam) which means income.
What makes me and other people mad is that Rockstar seems to not give a f*ck about PC community. They always pull this sh*t. Hell, we thought even GTA V is not going to happen on PC. It would be enough if they would just say something like "PC version is coming, just a little bit later" and that's all. We all know it takes time to make a good port (look at GTA V), but the silence they put on PC community is just a middle finger into the face.
When I look at history of Rockstar, I can see 2 parts of it: 1. When they first developed RAGE (gam engine) but pretty much had no experience with optimizing it (it didn't work well even on consoles). 2. When they actually learned how things work (Max Payne 3, GTA V releases). They did very good job on their last games, which gives me hope for this one too.
