If Las Venturas and/or San Fierro returned, I wouldn't mind. I'm sure they would look amazing.

I like Las Venturas, it has its own atmosphere for such a small town. But I can't imagine it without the mafia ruling this place, I really liked the idea of different families running casinos with Rosie, Kent Paul and Salvatore's cameos but that's maybe because I love that part of San Andreas' story, So yeah I would love to see LV back along with a large desert area and some small towns like Fort Carson. I don't know about area 69, why not?

That scenario just wouldn't make sense in modern-day Las Venturas setting, simply because in real life the Mafia no longer have any kind of significant power, influence or presence in Las Vegas - and this has been the case for many years now, at least since the end of the 1980s. I know it's only a game, but Rockstar is mostly grounded in realism when it comes to their depictions of the criminal underworld and GTA is a prime example of that. They could still include the Mafia in an LV expansion of V, just not in the sense of the controlling the casinos like they used to.

On topic, yes of course I'd like to see and updated Las Venturas in HD and I'd also like to San Fierro in the same fashion too. I've always hoped for this, I badly wanted the map to be like SA's, but bigger in HD and more details . I'd rather Rockstar had done them first as expansions to V before making a new Vice City (or new GTA in general). But with the insane amount of time they've dedicated to (and terribly wasted on ) on Online Mode, to be honest I can't see it happening anymore. It's been nearly 3 years since V was first released, so I can't really see them adding LV or SF, I just don't see them being made as separate GTA titles.

There's a very obvious casino that could have been opened up in IV. And the programming code for Poker, Black Jack and dice games could have easily been ported from RDR - so it didn't feel like it would have been a big effort for them to add in.

Part of me wonders whether they haven't put a casino in V because they are holding that back for VI if it is going to be set in Venturas.

Hell yeah! A sprawling desert with Las Venturas right in the middle! It could focus on the themes of mistrust and isolation, so, maybe a female member of The Lost that escaped from Trevor's rampage, that goes out to eastern San Andreas to find solitude in the desert, but is instead roped into a local conspiracy nut's plan to infiltrate Area 69 (I'd prefer Area 42 to match a different tone for the area), and screw over all the major high rollers of the Las Venturas casino's after they want what's been stolen.

It's just a concept, and I'd like to expand it, but it's still what I would like to see in the next GTA story. I would hope that it'd be the first game in the series to really intertwine the themes, environment, gameplay, and story all in one, instead of the disjointed, confusion that GTA IV suffered from in my opinion (war and violence is painful for me, here, let me kill that mob boss that has little influence on the plot for you).

My opinion, leave yours.

Yes, yes and of course! Las Venturas sounds like the best choice for Rockstar. I find this one much better than Vice City which is many people's favourite one. San Fierro could also be a good alternative. And if Las Venturas then the desert with small towns and at least one that is empty - "ghost town". I'd love the desert to be very big, not like the one in that one specific GTA game.

I've also made a (quite miserable) concept for GTA based in Las Venturas: http://gtaforums.com...entry1065823619

If they do an game in vice city, we have the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa which would be a great addition. I would model it myself if needed instead of R* just taking the ideal.

In my opinion, Las Venturas/Las Vegas is a beautiful city and I'd love seeing it remade in HD in a future GTA, and Las Venturas is no Las Venturas with the desert area around it like Tierra Robada and Bone County. I'm also adding a poll because I can. Discuss, people.

Yeah to be honest Las Vegas is a good setting for Gta 6. It has a lot casinos crime and there can even be heist where you rob casinos. Las Vegas isn't a bad place to visit they could do it similar how Las Vegas is in real life. Have a circle of city with surrounding desert sounds pretty nice to me especially since we would be able to steal jets from Area 51. Well I drought rockstar will do the whole Area 51 since it's really big, but I personally think they need to fit in San fierro too. Hopefully rockstar get these locations more accurate then they were in Gta San Andreas.

If Las Venturas returns, I would like it to be accompanied with San Fierro to give contrast between LV's desert and SF's woods. Also, this is just my opinion but I hate the desert. It's probably because I grew up and still live in a desert, but I just am sick of it and would honestly have less of a good time if the next GTA just took place in LV. It wouldn't completely ruin my experience though, unless it just isn't a good game.

If it were just Las Venturas then IDK. I'd probably rather have Vice City. But LV + San Fierro would be amazing. Or if Rockstar wants to go big with three major cities again, they could do LV + SF and a new city based on something like Seattle or Denver.

Here's the problem LV is nowhere near SF in real life if you looked at a map. R* seems to be going for realism this time around and putting two cities that are nowhere near each other in real life sounds pretty unrealistic. While it's a nice idea I just don't see it happening.

I'd rather see a standalone SF with Oakland across the bridge and maybe include some more of Northern California by adding a version of Sacramento.

No they aren't, the Grand Senora "Desert" is less than 5 minutes away from Paleto "Forest".

What in the world are you talking about? Here's a map

SF is an 8 hour drive to LV it's actually closer to LA and that's a 4 hour drive

Yes, but only in conjunction with another city.

The difficulty is what city it would be matched up with.

Vice City is too similar but San Fierro is also in San Andreas, and I can't see Rockstar returning to the same in game state for GTA VI.

I love to see a HD, updated San Fierro in any V expansion along with LV, I really liked exploring SF in SA. I look at San Francisco in Watch Dogs 2, and it does look very interesting, Rockstar could have easily matched it.

Las Venturas would be great as as others pointed out, with another city like SF for variety and contrast so we can have some green forrest and desert etc

However im hoping for new cities or if its them set in the 80s. Bouncey suspension heavey cars on San Fierro hills and 80s mob wiseguys in hawaiian shirts and big collared suits in Las Venturas.

I loved the police cars from LV in S.A.

The next GTA should be set in Las Venturas and San Fierro. Vice City would be lame without the 80's, not to mention how we just had a similiar city (atmosphere wise).

Then after that they can go back to Vice City but considering the latter's popularity (likely for nostalgia reasons) GTA VI will probably take place in VC.

Doing the latter after IV would have been better and then SA should have been set in all of San Andreas but Rockstar didn't think ahead

Damn San Fierro.

Las Venturas and Vice City would be much a better settling. all day everyday 24/7 100%. Just place them together with a underground tunnel or interstate themed bridge. San Fierro was connected to Los Santos in GTA SA and Las Venturas was placed next to Los Santos. Just make San Fierro the prologue to GTA 6.

I'm guessing they didn't want San Fierro in GTA 5, because Trevor would have became 90% more gay.

Also cause Los Santos was dumbed down in map size, compared to Liberty City.

I know they exaggerated in map size, cause it look 10x bigger and would've known another dumbed down setting will give awareness to this tragedy.

After this I hope they do an entirety new settling for GTA 7, like Cuba or UK.

San Andreas stand for the state of California.

Las Venturas should've never been included, instead San Diego should've been included.

Las Venturas and Vice City would be much better, because they're independent.

I will be 100% upset if Rockstar Games don't visit a new location.

It time for change that is take place after the Las Venturas and Vice City change is fulfilled, also new locations after Gta 6.

Las Venturas is a close second on my wishlist, after Vice. It's never gonna happen though. Guys, we're been fantasizing about "map expansions" since 2013, and no such thing has ever materialized. It's just too expensive for R*, and they can make easy profit with crap DLC for GTA Online. It's never going to happen.

No. f*ck refreshing already existing locations. I think Liberty City and Los Santos reboots are enough, so far. I want a completely new setting goddamit.

I want that before another game set in Vice City tbh, the latter is just too similiar to Los Santos. LV and SF together would provide a refreshing change after Los Santos.

Personally I dont care in this case. Its not like they are that far apart in real life. I dont think either city can carry its own game so pairing them together makes sense.
