I saw it and it was a good movie but the remake is much more than a horror flick. Nowhere near a sh*tty movie under any light whatsoever, Peter Jackson isn't a sh*tty director either.

I was joking,i just found it weird people preferring the classic to the remake and admit it's a lot better, maybe by the time of release was better but it aged as f*ck,so 2005 is much better.

Seems like a good movie. Hopefully it will be interesting and won't be as underwhelming like the 2014 Godzilla movie

Ehh.. not a fan of that newest trailer. It now looks more like your run of the mill modern Hollywood action film with King Kong just kicking ass on-screen a lot and a pretty lighthearted tone. And I actually kinda liked how they didn't show Godzilla on-screen too much in the 2014 film. Sure it was a little annoying when they cut away from the action at times, but it also made those moments where he finally appeared feel all the more impactful instead of numbing you to the sense of awe and dread that the monsters cause. I hope it's just that trailer and the film's tone will be more like the original trailer.

Kong didnt have as much interaction with humans as he did the previous films, just  a couple obligatory crush scenes with the girl while they were hunting him down. Kong's final fight was good with a twist involved. I felt that the little monsters were nastier than the boss, but overall very well done. Better than the Godzilla flicks..

Dont worry. It wasnt light-hearted or trying to be too cute. Kong appears  early, though in an awesome manner.
