***Since I have not thoroughly played through GTA IV countless times going for different Special Vehicles, I can't confirm all or most of the entries in the Guide for how to obtain the Special Vehicles.  I consulted Lancet Jades' Guide on Gamefaqs for extra tips and help, however, he plays on the Xbox 360 and I personally play on the PS3 and noticed some things that aren't the case when comparing both Platforms.  In time, I plan to do more playthroughs of IV and going for different sets of ten Special Vehicles in each playthrough which will give me the experience I will need to write and understand how to obtain them on my own.***

1.0. Unique/EC Black Roman's Taxi (1 of 2)

Mission: The Cousins Bellic

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail + Suicide

How to Obtain: The first Special Vehicle encounter in the game, but unfortunately, it requires you to commit suicide.  This is the Vehicle you start the game out with and are instructed to drive Roman and this Vehicle back to the Hove Beach Safehouse.  Passing the Mission will make it vanish and failing the Mission in any other way besides killing Niko will also make it vanish.  Normal Roman's Taxis are this same color, but the front siding of the hood is always a different color.  This specific Roman's Taxi is solid black and identical in color to the rest of the Vehicle.  To obtain it, simply drive it to a parking space and leave it there.  Now kill Niko by any means necessary and the Mission will start over.  However, when you check back on the Vehicle, you will see it's still there.  It's simple to get, but isn't worth to get it, in my opinion, since you need to commit suicide.  Plus, there is plenty of other Unique Roman's Taxis to obtain and even pass the Mission later on, so I would just wait.  If you absolutely need this one due to the special full black paintjob, then by all means obtain it!

1.1. EC Black Esperanto

Mission: Free Roam After The Cousins Bellic and Before Roman's Sorrow

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: -

How to Obtain: Once you pass The Cousins Bellic, you are instructed to return to Roman at his Cab Depot for the next Story Mission.  This EC Black Esperanto is always parked inside the Cab Depot.  If you want it, just take it and drive it to a parking spot.  It doesn't get any easier, really.  Make note that it can only be obtained until Roman's Sorrow since during Roman's Sorrow, Roman's Cab Depot is burned down which will make this EC Black Esperanto unobtainable from that point forward.  So if you want this, get it before the Mission.

1.2. EC Beige Willard (1 of 2)

Mission: It's Your Call

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is the Vehicle in which the Albanian Loan Sharks drive during the Mission.  To obtain it, all you have to do is attack the Loan Sharks which will fail the Mission and at that time, just get it and drive it back to a parking spot.  If you're looking to obtain this, I would just wait until the second instance of when there is an EC Beige Willard since this specific one requires the Mission Failure, but the next one does not and can pass the Mission to get it.  So if I were you, I'd wait until the second one comes up in a later Mission.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

1.3. Unique Roman's Taxi (2 of 2)

Mission: It's Your Call

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Make note that this Unique Roman's Taxi can be obtained in not only It's Your Call, but a handful of other Story and Side Missions like Three's a Crowd, Bleed Out, Easy Fare, Jamaican Heat, Uncle Vlad, Roman's Sorrow, and the Taxi Side Mission.  However, there isn't really any reason to wait, so why not keep it from this Mission?  To obtain it, you do nothing.  Simply pass the Mission and once passed, you will still be driving the Unique Roman's Taxi.  Just park it in a parking spot and that's all.  Make note that it can only be obtained until Roman's Sorrow since during Roman's Sorrow, Roman's Cab Depot is burned down which will make this Unique Roman's Taxi unobtainable from that point forward.  So if you want this, get it before the Mission.

1.4. Lustered Silver Merit

Mission: First Date

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is Michelle's/Karen's Vehicle.  You're given it at the start of the Mission.  If you want to keep it, just use it for the Mission and keep it in tact.  Once the Mission is over, park it in a parking spot at a Safehouse.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

1.5. EC Beige Willard (2 of 2)

Mission: Bleed Out

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Like the first EC Beige Willard in the Guide, the Albanians once again will be driving this during the Mission.  Dardan will drive off in this Willard, however, once killed, you can obtain it.  To do this, you will need to double drive the Willard and Roman's Taxi back to the Safehouse after taking out Dardan.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

1.6. Unique Laundromat (1 of 2)

Mission: Hung out to Dry

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: I recommend waiting to get the Unique Laundromat during the second instance this Special Vehicle is found since the later one doesn't require a Mission Failure like this Laundromat does.  After starting the Mission, head to the Laundromat, but don't do the Mission like normal.  When you arrive, just go to the back of the Laundromat and you will see the Van parked there.  Walk up to it, break the window, and get inside of it.  The Mission will fail for scaring the Laundromat Owner and now all you have to do is drive it to a parking spot.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

1.7. EC White and Lustered Blista Compact with Dark Grey Siding (1 of 2)

Mission: Clean Getaway

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is the target Vehicle used for the Mission.  After claiming the Blista Compact, find another Vehicle and use it to push the Blista Compact on its back.  The Mission will fail for destroying the Blista Compact and now all you have to do is use the other Vehicle to flip the Blista Compact back on its wheels and drive it to a parking spot.  It's pointless to obtain this one, since you can get the same Special Vehicle in the very next Mission and can pass the Mission to get it, too, unlike this Mission where you need to fail to get it.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

1.8. EC White and Lustered Blista Compact with Dark Grey Siding (2 of 2)

Mission: Ivan the Not So Terrible

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: You start the Mission out with Vlad giving you this Blista Compact.  Just take it and drive it to a parking space.  Then do the Mission like normal and after the Mission is passed, confirm it in the parking space.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

1.9. Lustered Black Ruiner with Yellow Siding

Mission: Ivan the Not So Terrible

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Ivan the Not So Terrible is driving this Ruiner during the chase.  When he stops and gets out of it, make sure to get inside of it, then get back out of it, then finish him off.  You need to do this since the Ruiner will disappear if you don't mark the Vehicle as your own.  By getting into it, the game will remember that it's your last driven Vehicle and keep it there.  After taking care of Ivan, just go back to where the Ruiner was and drive it back to a parking space.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.0. EC Light Blue Marbelle

Mission: Uncle Vlad

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Vlad drives this during the Mission and at the end, he will crash into a Truck.  To obtain his EC Light Blue Marbelle, simply get inside of it and drive it a small distance away from where he is standing at the end of the Mission, then finish the Mission.  Sometimes the Vehicle will vanish after the Mission is passed, but if this happens, reload and retry while positioning the Marbelle differently to where you had it the first time around.  After the Mission is passed, it should still be where you left it.  At this time, drive it back to a parking space.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.1. Lustered Black/Silver DF8-90 (1 of 4)

Mission: Crime and Punishment

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: At the start of the Mission, this is parked in Faustin's Driveway.  If you want it, just take it back to a parking spot and then continue on with the Mission.  Once passed, confirm that it's in the parking spot where you left it.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.2. Lustered Black Speedo

Mission: Crime and Punishment

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: There are three of these Vans in which you need to locate during the Mission.  To obtain one of them, just pull one over using the Police Car and once checked to see if the flatscreens are in the back, jack the Speedo and take it back to a parking spot.  After parking it, go get another Police Car and continue with the Mission to find the proper Speedo with the flatscreens in the back.  After you pass the Mission, confirm the Speedo in your parking spot.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.3. Lustered Black/Silver DF8-90 (2 of 4)

Mission: Do You Have Protection?

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: At the start of the Mission, this is parked in Faustin's Driveway.  If you want it, just take it back to a parking spot and then continue on with the Mission.  Once passed, confirm that it's in the parking spot where you left it.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.4. Lustered Black/Silver DF8-90 (3 of 4)

Mission: No Love Lost

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: At the start of the Mission, this is parked in Faustin's Driveway.  If you want it, just take it back to a parking spot and then continue on with the Mission.  Once passed, confirm that it's in the parking spot where you left it.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.5. Lustered Black/Silver DF8-90 (4 of 4)

Mission: Rigged to Blow

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: At the start of the Mission, this is parked in Faustin's Driveway.  If you want it, just take it back to a parking spot and then continue on with the Mission.  Once passed, confirm that it's in the parking spot where you left it.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.6. Russian Schafter with Silver Grill (1 of 2)

Mission: The Master and the Molotov

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is Mikhail's Schafter.  If you want it, simply drive it from the Club back to a parking space and then continue on with the Mission as normal.  Once passed, confirm it in the parking space.

2.7. Lustered Silver Oracle

Mission: Easy as Can Be

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is the Oracle Brucie wants you to collect for him.  To obtain it, simply locate it and then drive it to a parking spot.  Once parked, jack a random Vehicle and drive away from it.  The Mission will fail for abandoning the Oracle and when you return to the parking spot, the Oracle will still be there.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.8. Lustered Russian Schafter with Silver Grill (1 of 3)

Mission: Easy as Can Be

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Do the Mission like normal up until you get into the Oracle.  After the cutscene takes place this Schafter will appear in the alleyway.  Immediately shoot the driver and once dead, you can take the Schafter for yourself.  However, you'll need to either double drive the Oracle and the Schafter back to a parking space or use the Oracle to push the Schafter, or vice versa.  If you get too far away from the Oracle, the Mission will fail.  Once you get the Schafter to a parking space, continue with the Mission as normal and once passed, confirm the Schafter is still there.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

2.9. Lustered Black Sultan

Mission: Easy as Can Be

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Similar to the above Post, you will be doing almost the same thing to obtain this Sultan.  Do the Mission like normal until you get into the Oracle.  After the cutscene and when you leave the alleyway, two of these Lustered Sultans will be on to you.  One will be parked right outside the exit and another will chase you.  Shoot the drivers dead so nobody is bothering you and then carefully double drive the Oracle and the Sultan back to a parking spot.  Alternatively, like in the above Post, you can use the Oracle to push one of the Sultans or use the Sultan to push the Oracle.  If you leave the Oracle behind, the Mission will fail.  Once you successfully get the Sultan back to a parking spot, leave it there and continue the Mission like normal.  Once passed, confirm the Sultan is still there.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

3.0. Lustered Black NRG 900

Mission: Easy as Can Be

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This will be obtained similarly to how the previous two Special Vehicles in the Guide have been obtained from this same Mission.  Make note this will only appear if certain conditions are met during the chase part of the Mission.  After getting inside the Oracle, drive straight ahead until you reach the end of the alleyway.  At this time, make a left hand turn and exit the alleyway.  Someone on this NRG 900 will spawn to the left of the Oracle as you exit the alleyway.  Once spotted, kill the driver off the NRG 900 and then double drive the Oracle and the NRG 900 back to a parking space.  If you get too far away from the Oracle, the Mission will fail.  Once the NRG 900 is parked and secure, continue with the Mission as normal and once the Mission is passed, confirm the NRG 900 in the parking space.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

3.1. EC Bright Yellow Comet

Mission: No. 1

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is the Comet that you and Brucie pick up for the Race.  Simply come in first and pass the Race and when you finish, you can keep this EC Bright Yellow Comet and take it back to a parking spot.  There is nothing to it.  If you're interested in obtaining this Comet and the special Super GT from the Race at the same time and passing the Mission, see below.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

3.2. EC Light Blue and Lustered Super GT

Mission: No. 1

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Super GT is being used by one of the opponent's during the Race.  To obtain it, do the Race like normal and instead of going through the final checkpoint, just wait there while using the look back camera.  When you see the other Vehicles coming up on you, go through the checkpoint to pass the Race and the other Vehicles will continue to drive forward.  At this point, just spot the Super GT and when it comes to a stop, use the Comet you are driving to carefully push it back to a parking space.  Once the Super GT is secured in a parking space, you can also park the Comet if you want both of these Special Vehicles.  Drive a few blocks away, and when you return, you will see both of them sitting there, fully renewed.  Make note that the EC Light Blue and Lustered Super GT doesn't seem to be obtainable on the PS3 Version.  I've tried it quite a few times and once the Race is complete, the Vehicles vanish no matter what I do.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

3.3. Lustered Black Stallion (1 of 2)

Mission: Escuela of the Streets

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission like normal and arrive to the point where you need to follow the Dealer in this Stallion.  Before going into the yellow arrow which will trigger a cutscene, just go up to the Stallion and shoot at it or break the window and then quickly get into it.  The Mission will fail and you should still have possession of the Stallion after the cutscene.  Just drive it back to a Safehouse and park it.  Make note that you must get inside of the Stallion quickly.  If you don't, it can disappear.

Video by Viv1d-Shadows

3.4. Tuner Primo with Hybrid Grill

Mission: Street Sweeper

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Primo is parked at the garage where the enemies are hanging around.  All you have to do is shoot the driver dead and then take care of the rest of the enemies to pass the Mission.  Once the Mission is passed, you can take this Primo back to a parking spot.  If you don't shoot the driver of this Primo right away, it will drive away.  What makes this Primo special is a horizontal grill not normally found on a Tuner Primo and also the front bumper is solid without the holes along the bottom of it.

3.5. Oracle without Medallion

Mission: Luck of the Irish

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Only Tuner Oracles don't have a medallion.  This is a regular Oracle without the medallion and that is why it's special.  To obtain it, collect the Sniper Rifle on the roof as normal and just shoot and kill Packie to fail the Mission.  Use the fire escape stairs outside of the building to descend since using the stairs from inside will usually make this Vehicle vanish.  When you get down to the road, jack a Vehicle and use it to push this Oracle to a parking space.  Bohan is the closest, so I recommend pushing it there.

3.6. EC Yellow Patriot (1 of 3)

Mission: Blow Your Cover

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Vehicle is given to you right outside upon starting the Mission.  Just go to it and park it in a parking space.  Do the Mission like normal and once passed, confirm the Patriot where you left it in the parking space.

3.7. EC Beige and Fuchsia Voodoo

Mission: Have a Heart

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: There is nothing special about this Voodoo, except the stripe it has.  No other Voodoo's have such a color for the stripe.  Technically, this is an EC2 Vehicle since it's the secondary color that is special.  To obtain it is rather simple.  All you have to do is bang the Voodoo around a bit as you drive it so the trunk pops open.  Once the trunk pops open, drive off a jump or on uneven roads or something which will result in the body falling out and passing the Mission immediately.  You won't get any money if you pass the Mission like this, but you will be able to keep this special Voodoo as the prize, instead.  Once the Mission is passed, drive it back to a Safehouse and park it.

3.8. Unique Police Stockade with BP Front Windshield (1 of 2)

Mission: Three Leaf Cover

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Make note that this Police Stockade has the BP Front Windshield whereas the one in Tunnel of Death does not.  However, it's not actually that special considering all Enforcers, in which can be obtained in free roam from a 4, 5, or 6 star wanted level, have this exact same BP Front Windshield.  Furthermore, if you convert an Enforcer or Police Stockade into AP form, you're unstoppable.  The Cop's accuracy is so bad that a BP Front Windshield isn't even needed.  They will rarely shoot you, including the Police Stockade that is obtainable from Tunnel of Death later on in the Guide.  The Police Stockade, in general, is probably the best Special Vehicle to have in the game, especially once you convert it to AP with the Conversion I will explain at the end of the Guide.  Before going about obtaining this Unique Police Stockade, MAKE SURE you have one of Ray Boccino's Missions still left to complete in Little Italy near the Bank.  Go through the Mission like normal until you make your way out of the Bank and are instructed to defend Packie and Derrick.  Take out as many Cops as possible and when you think you're in the clear, kill Packie or Derrick to fail the Mission.  Once the Mission is failed, call 911 for a Fire Truck.  Use the Fire Truck to push one of the Police Stockades to the Mission start for Ray Boccino.  Be quick or be dead, though, because you will still have a 5 star wanted level.  When you get the Police Stockade close to the Mission start for Ray, go into it and start a Mission for Ray.  Skip the cutscene and when you take control of Niko again, the Police Stockade should still be there and the wanted level should be cleared.  At this time, slowly but surely, push the Police Stockade using the Fire Truck back to the Middle Park East Safehouse.  Once the Police Stockade is secured in the parking space, drive a few blocks away and when you return, it should still be there.  At this time, complete the Mission for Ray and after passing one of Ray's Missions, return to the Middle Park East Safehouse and confirm the Police Stockade is still there.  If you managed to get this particular Police Stockade from Three Leaf Clover, then congratulations as it's one of the more tedious and difficult Special Vehicles in this entire game.  The one in Tunnel of Death, however, can be obtained while passing the Mission to get it unlike the one in Three Leaf Clover, but it won't have the BP Front Windshield, of course.  Also to get the one in Tunnel of Death with passing the Mission and not failing the Mission is also a very time consuming task, but luckily you won't have any 5 star wanted level like this one in Three Leaf Clover.

3.9. Lustered Black Cognoscenti

Mission: Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is the Cognoscenti that you are instructed to plant a bomb under.  When you arrive at the Vehicle, instead of planting a bomb, just damage the Vehicle any way possible which will fail the Mission.  After the Mission is failed, get a random Vehicle and use it to push this Cognoscenti back to the closest Safehouse and into a parking space.  Then drive a few blocks away and return to see the Cognoscenti still there and renewed.

4.0. Lustered Black Dukes

Mission: Lure

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This special Dukes is parked on the street below the guy's apartment in which you are instructed to kill for the Mission.  When you arrive, simply get inside the Dukes and then get back out of it to mark it as Niko's last driven Vehicle.  Once you do that, do the Mission like normal and kill the guy.  Once the Mission is passed, return to the Dukes and take it back to a Safehouse and park it.

4.1. EC Yellow Patriot (2 of 3)

Mission: Deconstruction for Beginners

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Patriot is provided for you at the start of the Mission like the first Yellow Patriot in the Guide.  However, this Patriot will literally already be in Playboy X's parking space.  Simply don't do anything and leave it there.  When you pass the Mission, it should still be there saved.  Confirm it's there and that's all.

4.2. Lustered Black Cavalcade with Black Rims

Mission: Deconstruction for Beginners

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is the Vehicle in which Playboy X has weapons stocked for you inside.  Get in and retrieve the weapons and when you get back out, just get in again and drive it to a parking space before continuing with the Mission.  After you park it, finish the Mission as normal and when it's passed, confirm the Cavalcade is still there.

4.3. EC Yellow Patriot (3 of 3)

Mission: Photo Shoot

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Patriot is provided for you at the start of the Mission like the first two Yellow Patriots in the Guide.  However, this Patriot will literally already be in Playboy X's parking space.  Simply don't do anything and leave it there.  When you pass the Mission, it should still be there saved.  Confirm it's there and that's all.

4.4. Lustered Dark Grey Sabre GT with Black Stripe

Mission: Photo Shoot

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This will be parked around the basketball court where the enemy is hanging out.  Before taking him out, take the Patriot back to a parking space and then return to kill the enemy.  After the Mission is passed, confirm the Patriot is still in the parking space.  You can obtain the Sabre GT from above and this Patriot at the same time if you want and then pass the Mission after parking both in a parking space.

4.6. EC Bright Red Hellfury

Mission: Ruff Rider

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This special Hellfury is being used by Jayvon during the chase.  All you have to do is shoot him off of it and then claim the Bike as your own.  Pick up the money and meet Dwayne at the Cluckin' Bell to finish and pass the Mission.  Once passed, take the Hellfury back to a parking space.

4.7. Lustered Black Sentinel with Black Rims (1 of 2)

Mission: Wrong Is Right

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Oleg will be driving this Sentinel during the chase.  As soon as the cutscene ends, immediately aim at his head while he drives off and shoot him dead which will pass the Mission.  If done quick enough, as he turns right, his dead body should fall out of the Sentinel and the door should remain open which will allow you to get into it and drive it with ease to a Safehouse.  If his body remains in the Sentinel, then you will need to call 911 for a Fire Truck and use it to roll the Sentinel a bit while you push it back to a Safehouse so his body falls out.  If his body remains inside the Sentinel when it's in a parking space, the Sentinel will disappear.  You need the body to fall out no matter what if you want to keep this Vehicle.  Once the Sentinel is in the parking space, drive a few blocks away and come back to confirm it's there.

4.8. EC White Maverick with Red Stripes (1 of 2)

Mission: Dust Off

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: If I were you, I would wait until the second instance this special Maverick is found during Paper Trail since this one requires a Mission Failure in the Stats whereas the one in Paper Trail does not.  If you want this one, just steal the Maverick and park it in a parking space.  Once parked, drive a far enough distance away from it so the Mission fails and then return to confirm it's still there.

4.9. Lustered Black Emperor

Mission: Dust Off

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This special Emperor will be sitting near a building inside the Airport after passing the Mission.  Simply locate it and take it back to a parking space if you want it.

5.0. EC White Maverick with Black Stripes

Mission: Paper Trail

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before starting this quest, you will need to have Kiki's Perks of removing a wanted level and you will also need an Annihilator.  There is a few ways to get an Annihilator, but in my opinion, the best way is to kill all 200 Pigeons before this Mission, despite how tedious it sounds.  It needs to be done if you plan on getting 100%, anyways, so you might as well do them before this Mission if you want this special Maverick.  Before activating Paper Trail by answering the Phone, get a Helitours Maverick and fly to the top of the MeTV Building where the Annihilator spawns if you have done the 200 Pigeons as suggested.  Once you get there, get inside the Annihilator and activate the Mission by answering the Phone.  If you are on the Mission before going to the MeTV Building, the Annihilator will not be there since it won't spawn when a Mission is taking place.  Now what you want to do is locate this Maverick and use the Annihilator to slightly bump the passenger side of the Maverick to force the passenger out of it.  Now you want to shoot at the Maverick, but not with the Annihilator Guns, as that will cause you to get a 4 star wanted level.  If done correctly, the driver of the Maverick will bail out, but this will only happen if the Maverick catches fire.  Your goal is to make it crash land and once that happens, it will blow up and be a destroyed wreck of the Maverick.  At this point, you will spike a 2 star wanted level, however, call Kiki to remove it and now call 911 and request a Fire Truck as you will need it to push the wreck of the Maverick back to the Middle Park East Safehouse.  Do not take the camera off the wreck of the Maverick even for one second as it can easily disappear.  Also try and be quick with this task.  If too much traffic is spawning during the push back to the Safehouse, it can cause the wreck of the Maverick to vanish, even if the camera is on it so make sure you do this as quick as possible.  Once swiftly pushed into the parking space and is lined up nicely, dash as quickly as you can inside the Safehouse and save the game.  Now reload, and with a lot of luck, the Maverick will be there, fully renewed.  I recommend also having a backup Save before trying this as you don't want to go through all this trouble and have it not be there when you reload, thus costing you an extra, unneeded Mission Failure in the Stats.  If it's not there, you can reload the backup Save and try again.  You will need persistence and determination if you want to pull this off.  Good luck as you will need it!

5.1. EC White Maverick with Red Stripes (2 of 2)

Mission: Paper Trail

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: After passing the Mission like normal, Niko will be still flying this special Maverick.  If you want it, just fly it back to a parking space and land it.  Simple stuff.

5.2. EC "Random" Tuner Oracle

Mission: Taking in the Trash

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is pretty interesting since Tuner Oracles come in an exclusive dark green color, but the one found in this Mission is different.  It's random, though, as each time you play this Mission, they may appear in a different color.  All of them are special since they aren't in the usual dark green color.  After collecting the diamonds at both locations, this Oracle will show up.  All you have to do is kill the driver and any other occupants it may have and then double drive it along with the Garbage Truck back to a Safehouse.  Once secured in the parking spot, finish the Mission and once passed, confirm it in the parking spot.

5.3. Lustered Silver Banshee with Black Stripe (1 of 2)

Mission: Meltdown

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Upon starting the Mission and arriving to the first destination, Niko will automatically jack this special Banshee to chase the goons.  Simply keep the Banshee in tact without crashing so much and at the end of the Mission before meeting with Ray at the bridge, drive it back to a parking space.  After parking it, go back to Ray and finish the Mission and when it's passed, confirm the Banshee in the parking spot where you put it.

5.4. Unique Laundromat (2 of 2)

Mission: Meltdown

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: If you plan on getting this Unique Laundromat, then you obviously can't get the special Banshee from the same Mission I wrote about in the above Post.  This Unique Laundromat is more important, though, and it's the last chance to get one.  Furthermore, the first one in the Guide required a Mission Failure, whereas this one does not.  You can also get the same Banshee used in Meltdown in a Random Event later on, so there is another chance to get it, thus it's better to wait.  Do the Mission like normal where after the cutscene, Niko will jack the Banshee and a chase will start.  During the chase, scripted events and traffic will occur.  Drive quickly as possible until you reach Hematite Street and you will notice a line of Vehicles waiting at a traffic light.  In this lineup of Vehicles will be a Unique Laundromat!  Just get out of the Banshee and jack the Laundromat, then proceed to follow the goons, but making sure you do all of this quickly.  If you aren't quick, the Mission will fail for losing the target.  After the chase when you are instructed to go to Ray at the bridge, drive the Laundromat back to a Safehouse and park it, then return to Ray and finish the Mission.  Once the Mission is passed, make sure to confirm the Laundromat where you parked it.

5.5. Lustered Silver Lokus

Mission: Meltdown

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Lokus is the Vehicle driven by the goons during the chase.  Simply do the Mission like normal until you reach the park.  When the goons leave the Lokus, quickly get into it, then get back out of it so the game marks it as yours.  Now just kill off the remaining goons and retrieve the diamonds.  Next, you will be instructed to go see Ray at the bridge.  Drive the Lokus to Ray, but don't drive it into the yellow marker.  Instead, get out on foot a bit away from the marker and park the Lokus there and then run on foot to the marker.  After the cutscene and the Mission is passed, it should be where you left it.  Alternatively, if this doesn't work, you can try taking the Lokus back to a Safehouse and park it before going to see Ray.  After seeing Ray and finishing the Mission, confirm it in the parking spot where you left it.

5.6. EC Black Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill

Mission: Museum Piece

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: After exiting the Museum, several of these will be parked around some enemies.  Just kill the enemies near the PMP 600's and then jack one of these and continue to pass the Mission with it.  Once passed, you will be driving it still.  Just take it back to any parking space.

5.7. EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill

Mission: Museum Piece

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Similar to the Black Mafia PMP 600 from above, you will be doing the same thing here to get a White Mafia PMP 600.  After exiting the Museum, several of these will be parked around the Museum, but they are a bit farther away than the Black PMP 600's and are more toward the sides of the Museum.  Just take out the enemies surrounding the place and then make a quick dash to a White Mafia PMP 600.  Jack it, and use it to finish the Mission.  Once passed, you will be driving it still.  Just take it back to any parking space.

5.8. Lustered Black Contender

Mission: Smackdown

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Bucky will be driving this special Contender.  All you have to do is follow him back to his house, take out all the enemies, and then jack the Contender and lose the wanted level.  After the wanted level is gone, the Mission will be passed.  Just drive it back to any Safehouse and park it.

5.9. Lustered Black Stallion (2 of 2)

Mission: Smackdown

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Stallion will be parked in the driveway that Bucky stops at.  When Bucky gets out, kill him and the enemy outside and then take the Stallion back to a Safehouse.

6.0. EC Dark Green Willard

Mission: Babysitting

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Fail the Mission any way possible while keeping Derrick alive.  When the Mission is failed, the cutscene will automatically put Niko inside of this EC Dark Green Willard.  All you have to do is drive it to a parking space at this point.

6.1. EC Green and Blue Rancher

Mission: Babysitting

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: You can see this Rancher in the ending cutscene of the Mission.  Once passed, you will be at the top of the staircase.  Simply descend down the stairs and you will find this Rancher just sitting there at the docks.  Supposedly on the PS3 Version, this is unobtainable due to the fact it will vanish after the Mission.  It's said to only be obtainable on Xbox 360.  I personally can't confirm any of this to be true or false, though.  Check to see what happens for yourself if you want this Rancher.

6.2. EC Bright Red Biff

Mission: Tunnel of Death

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Do the Mission like normal up until you are sitting inside the Police Stockade.  Make a U-Turn and head for the exit in the opposite direction.  While you drive away from the shootout area, try keeping the camera on the Biff, and also if you're lucky you will lose the wanted level by the end of the tunnel.  Once the wanted level is gone, turn around and head back to where the shootout took place and with some luck, the EC Bright Red Biff will still be there.  If so, double drive the Police Stockade and the Biff to a parking spot.  Park the Biff and then continue to finish the Mission like normal.  After the Mission is passed, return to check if the Biff is still there.

6.3. Unique Police Stockade (2 of 2)

Mission: Tunnel of Death

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Before starting this Mission, call for a Fire Truck and then park it at the Alderney Safehouse parking spaces.  Go through the Mission like normal at this point up until you steal the Police Stockade and lose the three star wanted level.  Now drive the Police Stockade back to the Alderney Safehouse where you have your Fire Truck at the ready as calling for one during the Mission won't work.  Double drive the Police Stockade alternating with the Fire Truck to the location where you stash the Police Stockade normally and when you get there, drive the Police Stockade into the yellow marker.  After the cutscene, the Fire Truck will still be there.  Park the Presidente on the road close by and use the Fire Truck to push the Police Stockade into the street as well.  At this point, you want to slowly push the Police Stockade using the Fire Truck all the way back to the Alderney Safehouse whilst alternating and double driving the Presidente and keeping the camera on the Police Stockade and Fire Truck at all times.  Even if you take the camera off of it for a few seconds, it could very easily vanish and you'll have to start over.  Don't push it very hard as that will attract a wanted level and it's certainly not what you want for this task.  Also, don't get too far away from either the Presidente, as that will fail the Mission, and the Police Stockade, as that will make it vanish.  Once you get it back to the Alderney Safehouse, securely push it into the designated parking spaces and then ditch the Fire Truck and get back into the Presidente to finish the Mission like normal.  After the Mission is passed and before saving the game, go back to the Alderney Safehouse and you should see the Police Stockade still there and the door will now be unlocked!  I've obtained this in my own Save with passing the Mission and it took me about 30 minutes in total to pull it off.  It's really not that bad since the Fire Truck can push the Police Stockade like nothing.  No other Method on the entire Internet mentions the use of a Fire Truck.  This is my own Method.  However, if you succeed at this task, then you conquered the most challenging Special Vehicle in all of GTA IV with passing the Mission.  The Police Stockade in Three Leaf Clover is perhaps identical in terms of difficulty, however, there is no way to get that with passing the Mission.  Good luck!

6.4. Russian Schafter with Silver Grill (2 of 2)

Mission: Undertaker

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: At the start of the Mission, a shootout will take place against your crew and the Albanians.  They will come in this special Schafter.  Simply take out all the enemies attacking you and then double drive this Schafter with the Romero to a parking space.  When you get to a Safehouse, park the Schafter and then take the Romero to the funeral like normal.  After passing the Mission, confirm the Schafter is still in the parking space.

6.9. EC Dark Green and Lustered Vincent (1 of 2)

7.7. Lustered Black Bobcat

Mission: Truck Hustle

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: You will find two of these Bobcat's parked in the alleyway where the shootout takes place.  Make sure to bring a decently sized pushing Vehicle to the Mission and once you start the Mission, park it in the grassy area near where the Mission started.  Doing this will keep it in tact and out of the way of the shootout.  Once all the enemies are dead, go to your pushing Vehicle and use it to push one of the Bobcat's back to a Safehouse.  Once you start pushing and get farther away from the target Vehicle, the Mission will fail.

Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy (Deal)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: A handful of these are parked around the compound where you follow the goons to.  After taking out the attacking enemies in the area, simply jack one of these and take it back to a parking space.  After parking it, return to the area and continue on with the Mission like normal and once the Mission is passed, you must confirm it or it will disappear since, like all Vehicles stored in a parking space while a Mission is on, is not actually saved yet.  Only after passing the Mission and you are back in free roam does the parking space actually save it.

9.3. Annihilator without Right Door and Tail Rotor

Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy (Deal) or Out of Commission (Revenge)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: After the cutscene takes place of crash landing on Happiness Island, shoot and kill Little Jacob to fail the Mission.  Once failed, get inside the Annihilator and call someone.  For some reason, this will make the Annihilator start up again and be usable.  Carefully fly it back to a Safehouse (Middle Park East is the best) and park it in the space.  After saving this Annihilator, the right door will vanish all together which makes it quite unique.

9.4. EC White Maverick with Gold Stripes

Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy (Deal)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Maverick will be the one Dimitri is using during the chase at the end of the Mission.  After everyone crashes on Happiness Island, run to where the Maverick is and kill the nearby Russian.  Get in and let the Mission fail for losing Dimitri and once failed call someone which will allow the Maverick to work again, somehow, and you will be able to fly it back to a Safehouse (Bohan is a good choice).  It will be critically damaged at this point so do not clip anything or you'll go down and need to redo this and get it again.

9.5. EC Black and Lustered Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill (2 of 2)

Mission: Out of Commission (Revenge)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: A handful of these are parked around the compound where you follow the goons to.  After taking out the attacking enemies in the area, simply jack one of these and take it back to a parking space.  After parking it, return to the area and continue on with the Mission like normal and once the Mission is passed, you must confirm it or it will disappear since, like all Vehicles stored in a parking space while a Mission is on, is not actually saved yet.  Only after passing the Mission and you are back in free roam does the parking space actually save it.

9.6. Lustered Black Mafia Sentinel (2 of 2)

9.7. Lustered Black Sentinel with Black Rims (2 of 2)

Mission: Out of Commission (Revenge)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: When you are chasing Pegorino's Boat and driving the Sanchez along the Beach, you will eventually be prompted to jump to a Helicopter.  After this happens, look to your right and you should see a road leading south.  Three of these Sentinels will be there blocking the entrance with some Mafia guys behind them.  Simply kill all of them and then claim a Sentinel.  At this time the Mission will fail for losing Pegorino and you can drive the Sentinel to a Safehouse and park it.

9.8. Lustered Silver Banshee with Black Stripe (2 of 2)

Mission: Hossan Random Encounter

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: If you wanted this Banshee the first time around during "Meltdown" but couldn't get it due to obtaining the Unique Laundromat (which was a better choice, anyways), now is your last and final chance to get this particular Banshee.  This Banshee is what the target will be driving during the Mission.  Simply shoot him dead, claim the money, claim the Banshee, and then finish the Mission like normal and afterwards drive it back to a Safehouse and park it.

9.9. EC White Cognoscenti

Mission: Gracie Ancelotti Random Encounter

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Cognoscenti is parked in Gracie's Driveway where she appears in the Encounter.  After taking out her guards and passing the Mission, just drive this Cognoscenti back to a Safehouse and park it.

10.0. EC Black Huntley Sport

Mission: Taken Out (Assassination Mission)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: After attacking the Stretch that contains your target, two Huntley Sport's will show up with some more enemies.  Simply take out the target of the Stretch as well as the extra enemies that show up and once passed, take one of the Huntley Sport's back to a Safehouse and park it.

10.1. EC Beater Emperor with Green Roof

Mission: Little Jacob Drug Delivery

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: A random Beater Vehicle is always provided to you during the Little Jacob Drug Deliveries except the final one.  This Emperor with a Green Roof is one of them that can be found.  After the Mission is passed, just drive it back to a Safehouse and park it if you want to keep it.

10.2. EC Beater Sabre with Green Stripe

Mission: Little Jacob Drug Delivery

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: A random Beater Vehicle is always provided to you during the Little Jacob Drug Deliveries except the final one.  This Sabre with a Green Stripe is one of them that can be found.  After the Mission is passed, just drive it back to a Safehouse and park it if you want to keep it.

10.3. Hybrid Tuner Intruder

Mission: Little Jacob Drug Delivery - Cerveza Heights Car Stack

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: You will find this Intruder parked nearby once the shootout starts.  Take out all the enemies to pass the Mission and then drive this Intruder back to a Safehouse and park it.  Make note that you must skip the cutscene after reaching the package drop point.  If the cutscene plays, then the Intruder will be normal again and not the Hybrid Tuner Version.  This is special because it lacks the spoiler and the only tuner upgrade it possesses is an extended front bumper.

10.4. Hybrid Tuner Futo

Mission: Little Jacob Drug Delivery - Meadow Hills

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: You will find this Futo parked nearby once the shootout starts.  Take out all the enemies to pass the Mission and then drive this Futo back to a Safehouse and park it.  Make note that you must skip the cutscene after reaching the package drop point.  If the cutscene plays, then the Futo will be normal again and not the Hybrid Tuner Version.  This is special because it lacks the spoiler and also can come in a variety of colors.

10.5. Rasta Huntley Sport with Rear-Mounted Exhaust

Mission: Little Jacob Drug Delivery - Final Delivery

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is provided for you for the final Drug Delivery for Little Jacob.  Pass the Mission like normal and then take the Huntley Sport back to a Safehouse and park it if you want to keep it.  This is special since normal Rasta Huntley Sports found in traffic have side-mounted exhaust pipes whereas this particular one has them on the back of it.

10.6. EC Vehicles in Brucie's Exotic Exports (Banshee, Cavalcade, Feltzer, Intruder, NRG 900, Patriot, PCJ 600, PMP 600, Sabre GT, and Sanchez)

Mission: Brucie's Exotic Exports

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail (Doesn't Affect Stats)

How to Obtain: After locating the particular Vehicle that Brucie wants you to find, simply drive it to a parking spot and then get into another random Vehicle and drive away.  As you leave, the Mission will fail for abandoning the Vehicle.  When you return, it will still be in the parking space.  Does it get any easier?

10.7. EC Vehicles in Stevie's Car Thefts (Banshee, Bobcat, Buccaneer, Cavalcade, Cognoscenti, Comet, Contender, Coquette, DF8-90, Dilletante, Dukes, Faggio, Freeway, Huntley Sport, Infernus, Intruder, Manana, Moonbeam, NRG 900, Patriot, PMP 600, Rancher, Rebla, Sabre GT, Sentinel, Sultan, Super GT, Turismo, Voodoo, and Washington)

Mission: Stevie's Car Thefts

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: -

How to Obtain: There are 30 Vehicles in which Stevie wants you to find all of which have a fixed spawn point at the time you receive the message about the Vehicle in question.  All you have to do is drive to the location to pick it up and then take it to a parking space.  Unlike Brucie's Exotic Exports, the Mission will not fail for abandoning it and instead, another Vehicle will just spawn in the place you took the first one from.  You can go back to the location and find the exact same Vehicle in the exact same exclusive color.  Take the duplicate to the lockup and proceed on with the rest of the Vehicles in the list.  It doesn't get any easier.  Make note that the final Vehicle that Stevie wants you to find will remain on the map forever in the exact same spot.

10.8. AP Vehicles (Anything You Want Except Boats and Helicopters)

Mission: After Passing First Date

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail (Failing a Date Has Nothing to Do with the Mission Statistics in the Pause Menu)

How to Obtain: After passing the Story Mission "First Date," Niko will have the ability to go onto the Internet and date various girls and guys from Craplist and Love-Meet.  This Conversion will only work by dating Alex, Carmen, or Kiki, though.  Simply locate one of the girls on the Websites and send her an email and ask her out on a date.  Wait for her to reply and set up a date and time to go out with her.  When the time comes and you're ready for the scheduled date, take your desired Vehicle in which you want to convert to AP and drive it to the girl's house.  Drive into the yellow marker and allow the girl to get into the Vehicle.  At this point when you can take control of Niko and the Vehicle, simply break the window of the Vehicle and throw a Grenade/Molotov out or fire a gun out the window.  This will scare the girl and the date will fail.  After the short cutscene takes place with the girl leaving Niko's Vehicle, the Vehicle is now converted to AP!  Simply drive it back to a Safehouse and park it.  Rinse and repeat to make more AP Vehicles.  You can have up to 10 in total parked at the 5 Safehouses in the game.  Make note that sometimes for unknown reasons the Vehicles can vanish from the parking spaces after using this AP Conversion.  Either that, or the Vehicle will remain there but won't be AP anymore.  In my PS3 Save, I converted all 10 of my Special Vehicles to AP and none of them disappeared, however, my Unique Romero did in fact lose the immunities.  No worries, though, as if this happens to you, you can reapply the immunities by going out on another date.  It's possible this may take some persistence for this to work out and keep the AP Vehicles, but it's nothing too serious.  This can be done as early as after passing First Date and it can also be done after 100%, even.  I converted my Special Vehicles to AP after 100% and in my opinion, it's the best time to do it.  Make note that if you convert any Police Vehicle to AP and then activate the Computer in the Police Vehicle to do a Police Side Mission, the immunities will be gone and you'll have to reapply them.  Also, if you use your AP Vehicle to take a girl out on a date, it will also remove the immunities on the Vehicle.  This can work with any Car, Truck, Van, or Motorcycle.  It doesn't work with Boats and Helicopters.  No Boats, for obvious reasons, and no Helicopters since you can't fire a weapon out of the Helicopter.

Thanks man! :)

It's going to be a bit slower than the usual speed I work on the Guides, but still shouldn't take too long.  I have worked up to 3.0. just now and am done for the day.  I only do about 10 Entries per day.  Couple weeks, it should be finished and then onto TBoGT Guide.

Yeah, his Guides are on Gamefaqs and outdated.  Hence the whole reason to do my own Guides here, in which are updated, and hopefully with Videos in time.  I also don't like how his Guides are layed out.  He has Unique Vehicles, Lustered Vehicles, and EC Vehicles all separately.  Whereas I have ALL the Vehicles simply in a row of when they come up in the Story.  With His Guide you gotta scroll down so far just to find a Vehicle if it's EC, but if it has a Luster, then you need to scroll up to find a Lustered Vehicle.  No idea why it's just not in order from beginning to end.  A lot of scrolling up, scrolling down, scrolling up, scrolling down.  It's annoying...

You can also find about Special Vehicles on GTA Wiki, but that site blows ass and is so incomplete, it's embarrassing.  False information, and doesn't include everything...

Thanks.  I'll do 3.1. to 4.0. later on today.  It's boring writing these HD Guides as nothing is difficult to obtain, basically...Most are 1 and 2 stars...

There is 8 Guides on the Forum from me, man...All that's missing, after I finish IV Guide in the coming week, is TBoGT and V.  Once those are done with, that's 10 Guides for 10 GTA's.  The only 10 GTA's which have Special Vehicles and a places to store them...

I'll do 5.1 to 6.0 later today...

Lol, most of the Special Vehicles coming out of the HD Era aren't even difficult.  Majority are 1 and 2 star difficulties, which is nothing.  A lot of people wanted me to make HD Era Guides, but I don't see why as there isn't much interesting things to go on with the HD Era.  Just a few random Vehicles here and there are worthy of being obtained...3D Era is King when it comes to the Special Vehicles and having a challenge in obtaining most of them.

My Save sucks, tbh.  2 Mission Failures which next time I will either have 1 or 0, depending on if I get the Unique Police Stockade from Three Leaf Clover (Fail) or Tunnel of Death (Pass).  I will get the Unique Laundromat from Meltdown (Pass) instead of Hung out to Dry (Fail) like I did in my first Save.  Most of the Vehicles I got were easy.  Like instead of the EC Black Lustered Super GT I have in my Save, I will instead get the one from No. 1 since it has some difficulty involved as it needs to be pushed back to a Safehouse, etc.  I will be making much better Saves eventually for the HD Era.  But first, I am finishing writing these Guides and then I will start playing again.  I didn't play any GTA in a few weeks now ever since I finished my new III iOS Save...

Correct! :)

And like I said above about them being easy, this is one of them.  You just shoot the Guards at her house and then drive the Cognoscenti back to a parking space :D :p  There isn't much to it.  It's a nice Vehicle, though, of course.

Eventually I'll get to that part of the Guide.  I am taking my time.  No need to rush it and just do 10 Entries per day.

"Story Complete"

Guide Complete!

Like I said in the TLaD Guide, if anyone sees any errors or things that aren't right, let me know and I will fix them.

Notice, though, so many 1 and 2 star difficulties, like TLaD Guide, and like TBoGT will be, too.  HD Era has barely anything difficult and worth mentioning...

Oh and Videos!!!!!!!!!  If anyone wants to record (Bender. or whoever) that will be great...

I have changed the Unique Police Stockade (2 of 2) Description on how to obtain it since I did what it now says in the Guide in my newest Save I just finished today and it worked like a charm with passing Tunnel of Death.  I also want to make note (didn't change it in the Guide yet) that the EC Blue and Lustered Super GT in the Mission "No. 1" for Brucie seems to NOT be obtainable on PS3.  I tried numerous times to get it from that Mission, but every Vehicle just vanishes after the cutscene.  Even if you skip the cutscene, even if the camera is facing the direction of the Vehicles, it doesn't matter.  Everything disappears at the end.

Here is the Photos of the Special Vehicles I got in my new Save and this time, it also has 0 Missions Failed.  My old Save had 2 Missions Failed, so all in all, I did a lot better this time around than last time.  I also got a much lower Total Playing Time, no Losses in the Stats for any Minigame, Kate to 100% Fondness, etc, etc.

I would really appreciate it if you would give credit and a link to my guides, especially for the GTA4 guides where your own work here is extremely based off of my own.

Well, I did tell you in the V "Guide" Topic that I would include credit to you at the top, but not until I get to updating this Guide.  I plan on rewriting all the Posts, anyways, since I am playing on PS3 and noticed some of the things you've wrote don't work or the Vehicles are purely unobtainable on the PS3 Version, etc.  So if I am borrowing a lot from your Guide by the time I rewrite all of this, then I will include credit to you.  Not to mention, you're mentioned in Comment 7 and 9 within this Guide already and people can clearly see it's based off your Guide, but the format is completely different and I try and explain EVERYTHING possible and will also be adding in Videos for everything in time, as well.  There is major differences.  It's not copy/pasted...Also, it's only IV, TLaD, and TBoGT where I used your Guide as a reference.  III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, and CW are written on personal experience since I obtained every Vehicle in such GTA's that exist, practically, and know how to get them all without reading or watching anything.  I mastered the 3D Era and CW, whereas I am quite new to the HD Era since the Special Vehicles are not as interesting or difficult to obtain in the HD Era.  I've done 6 to 14 playthroughs of the 3D Era GTA's, whereas I only have done 2 to 3 playthroughs of the HD Era.  With lack of experience, it's difficult to write the Guides when there is nothing to go off of or watch on Youtube.  It's why I prefer Guides with Videos since there is in fact visual learners and reading a wall of text isn't going to help them.  All 3D Era Guides have a Video for 99% of every single Entry within the Guide, whereas my HD Era Guides have hardly anything to offer.  There is 10 to 96 Pages of Comments and Discussion for my 3D Era Guides and hardly any Discussion for these HD Era Guides.  Can you guess why?  I can.

I just got a new job, so updating will be a bit slower than normal.  I updated III, VC, LCS, VCS, and CW.  I still have SA, IV, TLaD, and TBoGT still to update and plan on updating TLaD and TBoGT next since both are short, saving IV and SA for last as both are long and will take more time to update.

Militia, a thought regarding a way to get more special vehicles in GTA4 (and 5). I devised this strategy late in GTA4's life and am just now putting it into practice with my new playthrough.

Well, first of all, I keep incremental saves throughout my play, not just my master save and endgame save, usually to use up all of the save slots available. Now I do know you won't have so many available since he PS3 just uses the system's HDD for saving, while on the 360 I can have 5+ save locations (HDD, two proprietary memory cards, two USB drives, and some 360s have an additional small system storage built in). Each of those can hold 12 saves for GTA4 and 15 for GTA5, and I can switch between them at will when saving or loading in the games.

But in the event you wanted to even use a couple extra save slots (I assume you use 6 by default: three master saves, three endgame saves, one each for GTA4, TLAD, and TBoGT)...

My incremental saves are, for instance, at missions 10, 22, 34, 46, 54, 66, 75, and 87, according to the list in my guide. So I collect ALL vehicles possible between two of those missions and store them all. Then once I complete the mission I make the incremental save at (I just got to Paper Trail, mission 46), I make the same. Now I have a save at Paper Trail, but I've obtained ALL special vehicles between The Snow Storm (34) and Paper Trail (46). As I continue, I'll discard all of the vehicles I currently have saved (except Roman's Taxi which is no longer obtainable), because I already have them on the Paper Trail save. Then at Three Leaf Clover (54), I'll do the same thing. And so on until the end.

So each incremental save has its own set of vehicles, although obviously Algonquin and Alderney parking spots are difficult to use. I didn't change Algonquin parking spots until The Snow Storm (when it's been unlocked) and I only changed Alderney's once (for Paper Trail, as there were exactly 10 special vehicles between those points).

If I used all 10 spots across those saves, it'll give me about 80 special vehicles total, with only one playthrough. Keep in mind that's getting multiple vehicles in a mission when possible, such as two lusters from Easy As Can Be, the Comet and SuperGT in No. 1, and the Sabre GT and Patriot in Photo Shoot. I do prioritize keeping unique vehicles though, so now Roman's Taxi is using up a permanent spot, as will Police Stockade, Romero, and Laundromat eventually.

I also consider Deal as the more optimal end path than Revenge. For story reasons above all, but also for vehicles. First, Deal offers the white ribbon Cognoscenti at the wedding. But it also gives a lustered Russian Schafter and Rebla in the final mission. The lustered Rebla is ONLY in this mission, and the lustered russian Schafter is only found in two missions: Easy As Can Be also has 2 other lustered vehicles unique to it (Sultan, NRG900), and the one in the mission for Pegorino is only obtainable through failure.

Compared to Revenge's final mission, with the hybrid grill Mafia PMP 600 (also in ...Pest Control) and Sentinel (also in She's a Keeper, albeit requires mission failure).

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan you got going there.  I've done something similar in LCS and VCS when it comes to the Saves, but I never cared so much about the HD Era Special Vehicles since they just seemed so much more "weak" compared to that of the 3D Era.  For instance, for LCS, I have a 48% Starter Save in Slot 1, and then in Slots 2 through 8, I have 7 100% Saves with Minimum Stats, and 12 Special Vehicles in each, which is the maximum per Save you can store.  The 7th Save only has 2 Special Vehicles, though.  However across the 7 total 100% Saves with Minimum Stats as well, I have 74 total Special Vehicles.  Same applies to VCS.  I have the the 49.20% Starter Save in Slot 1, and then in Slots 2 through 4, I have 3 100% Saves with Minimum Stats, and 12 Special Vehicles in each, which is the maximum per Save you can store.  So across the 3 Saves, I have 36 Special Vehicles.  There is more to collect and more things being discovered over the past few months, so I may need to go ahead and do a 4th Save File to 100% with Minimum Stats and another set of 12 Special Vehicles.  I just get bored of VCS so much and it's my least favorite of the 3D Era, thus I didn't take the initiative yet to actually go through and obtain ALL the Vehicles, like I practically did in LCS.  I've obtained every Special Vehicle in the LCS Database, basically, other than just a handful of them, mostly coming from the Portland Story Missions, which as you may know, is rather sh*tty since the Portland Garage is SO small and at best can fit 2 Cars and 2 Bikes.  Meanwhile, I have Vehicles like an EC Patriot to obtain and other Cars that just won't fit inside all in the SAME Save, thus forcing me to only obtain one or two Special Vehicles from Portland in the entire Save which isn't worth it to me.  The ones I am missing are simple to get, anyways.  I am missing quite a few in VCS, but as I said, that game bores me and again, what I am missing is very easy to get, anyways.

I just try and fill max capacity per Save and GTA I am working on OR I try and get ALL the Special Vehicles that exist in the entire game OR I try and get as many as I can and fall short due to lack of skill, determination, patience, etc, etc, however, I pretty much mastered the art of Special Vehicles and usually have all these traits to obtain all of them in the end, even if some take hours of reloading, etc...

When it comes to the HD Era, I simply just pick the best 10 (in terms of GTA IV) that interest me, the best 16 (in terms of TLaD) that interest me, and the best 16 (in terms of TBoGT) that interest me.  Again, most of the Vehicles in the HD Era feel pretty pathetic and not all that special since most of them are just given to you or very easy to obtain without putting much effort into it or doing anything challenging to get it and because of how I feel about the HD Era, I can't be bothered to do multiple Saves and get ALL of the Vehicles in each game.  I am only into this in the 3D Era as those Special Vehicles feel all around more prize worthy and fun to obtain.

My PS3 has 4 total USB Ports.  1 is being used by the Controller and the other 3 Ports are empty and can easily back up my Saves onto a USB Drive and even onto my PC.  So space for Saves and to make backups is never an issue.

I personally always chose Revenge, simply cuz I personally felt it was the right decision and I prefer Roman, Niko's flesh and blood, over Kate.  Niko was always out for blood lust and revenge the entire Story up until the end, I guess, when he confronted Darko, but I also kill that guy, too.  So Revenge just seems more appropriate to me.  Money was never an issue for me, either, so I don't care if I lose out on money in Deal Ending.  But yeah, I agree, the Special Vehicles found in Deal Ending are better than Revenge.  I just never personally went for a lot of the Special Vehicles in IV, so I never intended to obtain those Special Vehicles in the Ending Missions.

When it comes to TLaD and TBoGT, I'll easily be able to fix up my Guides, but like I told you twice before, I'll go ahead and give you credit for IV in my Guide when I get to updating it in the coming week or so since I can say you more than likely know more about it than I do and how to get all the Special Vehicles due to my own lack of experience with obtaining so many in this game.  But in TLaD and TBoGT, I experimented a lot with the Special Vehicles and such and have very little issue to write my own Entries in those Guides.  But for IV, I get confused and am uncertain of a lot, so I will certainly give you credit at the top when I edit it.  First, I gotta finish 3.0 to 4.0 in my TLaD Guide today, and then start on fixing TBoGT.  Once TBoGT is done with, I will do IV and lastly, SA since that game is huge for the Special Vehicles and well over 100 separate Entries for each Special Vehicle.

Once I finish updating these Guides, though, I will go back to playing GTA as I didn't play in over a week since I finished my new GTA V Save.  I'll re-do my TLaD 100% Save, my TBoGT 100% Save, and then move back to the 3D Era and do some stuff.

It's funny, I'm doing this incremental set of saves as I explained above, but I had planned to do a second partial playthrough to get the "alternate" vehicles I missed, from missions with multiple special vehicles. But so far, I've gotten all necessary vehicles from those missions!

Lustered black Sultan and NRG900 from Easy As Can Be. Lustered silver Lokus and the Laundromat from Meltdown. Both the lustered black Contender and Stallion from Smackdown, both lustered gray Sabre GT and silver Patriot from Photo Shoot, etc.

At this rate I won't actually need the second play, except as my "revenge": ending playthrough. The only "either or" special vehicle I won't be able to get both of for sure (that also doesn't need mission failures or cheats) is the solid red Sanchez or lustered black/silver Rancher in If the Price is Right, but the "alternate" vehicle save can't do that anyways because of no missions failures and revenge path.

Oh, I guess there's also the red Biff in Tunnel of Death. But I'm just amazed at the fact I've managed all of this, especially the silver Lokus in Meltdown ANd the Laundromat.

I guess you don't plan on going back to the part where you obtain some Special Vehicles for a specific Save up to a certain point and reaching 100%, right?  That's how I did the LCS/VCS Saves.  I just couldn't leave them "undone."  I had to always reach 100% on all 7 LCS Saves and all 3 VCS Saves with 12 Special Vehicles in each Save, which is the maximum.  In terms of IV, 10 is the maximum, so you'll just leave them as is for the Special Vehicles?

In a way, I always wanted to dabble with the Lustered Black Sultan and Lustered Black NRG 900 in IV.  There's quite a few Special Vehicles that look really awesome but due to lack of storage space, I just forget them.  I mean, I like IV a lot, so it's possible I simply just do more Save Files in the future, but in the future, NOT reach 100% and do it like you are doing.  I already have my main Save that I finished a couple months ago and am completely happy with it, despite some of the Special Vehicles being piss easy to obtain and just given to me.  But having them in AP form is very nice!  It's why I don't care to get the TLC Police Stockade with BP Mesh Window with a Failure, since once you convert the other one from ToD into AP form, it's unstoppable, basically...

In an old Save I failed Hung out to Dry to get the Laundromat, but this time, I surely got it from Meltdown as it's simple.  But in the process, I missed a nice looking Banshee with a Luster.  The Banshee from the Hossan Random Encounter didn't look special to me on PS3, btw.  Maybe it doesn't have a Luster at all sometimes?  But for me, it looked identical to what I have seen on the street.  I like the Banshee from Stevie's Car Thefts the most, despite it given to you.

Btw, I will start to fix this Guide tomorrow as I have off from work and am nearly done editing TBoGT Guide and fixing it up.  At that time, I will give you the credit at the top, etc.

Also, do you know how to make a Maverick converted to AP?  Is there a way to scare the girlfriend and make it AP?  I only know Cars, Trucks, Vans, Motorcycles, etc.  Idk if the Helicopters are possible and surely not Boats, obviously.  I've read that it's possible to do with a Helicopter and if so, I need to fix that in my Guide and explain the Method.

EDIT: Btw, if you could please let me know in my TBoGT Guide which Special Vehicles from the STORY MISSIONS are one time only and NOT obtainable on a Replay?  I honestly think that every single Special Vehicle from I Luv LC up to Departure Time is obtainable on a Replay.  Is it literally only Club Management and Random Encounter Special Vehicles that are one time only or is there a couple from the Story?  Which are from the Story?  Please answer in my TBoGT Guide.  In a way, since everything other than Club Management Missions and Random Encounters can be obtained on a Replay, I don't really see any reason to do my TBoGT Save over with.  I have 10 EC Vehicles from Drug Wars, however, those are probably better to get, since they are harder than anything from the Story since all the stuff from the Story can be obtained on a Replay, thus making it not even that Special and more to the side of Rare.  In your TBoGT Guide, btw, you totally MISS adding in a Super GT being a Drug War Vehicle.  You can find it, just like the F620 in the normal colors found in Drug Wars.  If I do TBoGT over, I may just save the game in another Slot and KEEP the current Save I have since those 10 Drug War Vehicles in the same colors took AGES to find and are probably better than things from the Story since those are EASIER and ALSO CAN BE OBTAINED ANY TIME, even after 100%...

Regarding alternate saves for special vehicles, there are two different kinds I refer to:

-Incremental saves are what I described initially. These are saves at certain semi-arbitrary benchmarks for the purpose of a "chronicle" of my progress and to make use of the save slots available. I've done these since GTA3 and VC. These are ones like mission 10, 22, 34, 46, 54, 66, 75, 87 in GTA4, which are various key breakpoints based on the mission list in my guide. 22 is Russian Revolution, letting me stay at Broker safehouse. 34 is Snow Storm, which is right after Puerto Rican Connection which unlocks a lot of random encounters and other things (along with Brujcie's missions, which unlock races, vigilante, most wanted), and also when the girlfriends can all be dated easily (I've tried to date Carmen prior to unlocking Algonquin, but it's practically impossible to pass the first date without better clothes from Algonquin).

It was only shortly before GTA5's release that I came up with the idea to use these incremental saves to store different sets of vehicles, whereas before I would only bother keeping the vehicles I intended to have on that save at 100%, leaving parking spots/garages vacant for much of the game.

For "alternate" saves like I just described (to get alternate vehicles, especially from revenge path), I do take it to 100%. I think my wording was unclear; when I said partial playthrough, I didn't mean I only played up until I got the vehicles, but rather I keep a "master" save from later in the game for the purpose of creating that alternate file. In this case, it's right before Tunnel of Death, because my main save will get the Police Stockade and the alternate will get red Biff, and also because there are otherwise 11 vehicles I need by the end of Tunnel of Death: three uniques (Roman's Taxi, Laundromat, Police Stockade) and 8 specials (random tuner Oracle, hybrid PCJ600 which isn't in my guide currently, white and black hybrid grill PMP 600s, lustered Contender and Stallion, lustered Lokus, and green/blue Rancher). So when I make that alternate save I can start from that "backup" file and not have to redo the first 60+ missions and the vast majority of side content (vigilante, most wanted, races, 100%ing friends and girlfriends, brucie exports, STEVIE'S 30 CAR THEFTS, etc). So that "alternate" save takes a LOT less time than a full new playthrough.

These are my techniques for how I play the game, and how I achieve my vehicle goals. In GTA5, I have two endgame saves: one on the Big Score subtle path (maximum number of missions + extra blank plate vehicle) and one on obvious path (for the Skylift).

To answer other questions:

Lustered silver Banshee: As far as I know, the Banshee in Hossan's stranger mission and Meltdown are the same. The luster is random, and silver vehicles are notoriously difficult to see a good luster on, that Banshee especially. Personally, I got a mild green lustered Banshee from Hossan, while one of my plays of Meltdown (trying to get a good luster on the Lokus) gave me a VERY noticeable blue luster on that Banshee. So it's possible, but a lot of possible luster colors probably aren't very visible on that car. GTA4's somewhat odd lighting doesn't help, either; pearlescents are much easier to see on GTA5, although I've also heard that the PS3 version's graphics are slightly different than 360, so that may result in other lighting differences.

For TBoGT, I may have been incorrect and all vehicles I think are obtainable via replays.

Btw, Most Wanted is something, like Pigeons and Stunt Jumps, that can be done right after "The Cousins Bellic" and before "It's Your Call."  It does not need to be unlocked by any Story Mission.  You can do 30 Most Wanted Criminals, 200 Pigeons, 50 Stunt Jumps, CUBED, Win at Darts, etc, etc all in the beginning and I have this all complete, except 126 Pigeons which I still need to get while I stay wanted with a 6 star wanted level.  I've watched zmoonchild's entire playlist on Youtube literally 5 or 6 times straight for days until I learned how to stay alive and just do some pretty neat things, imo, with having a wanted level for so long and loosing it, storing a Maverick in the beginning, getting the Super GT from the Darren Covey Most Wanted, and maximizing all Weapons for each Weapon Slot with the Best Weapons.  I am literally just missing the 126 Pigeons until it's complete at 11.95%.  I am 9.45% right now.  I will probably try and do that in the future to give me something to do.

Thank you.  Now I know what you mean and it was very clear.  Yeah, lol, Stevie's Car Thefts blow.  They take so long and you just do it for useless money.  Some of the Vehicles look badass in them, though.  Just a handful, though.  Btw, I believe I read in you Guide that on the FINAL Stevie Car Theft, that Vehicle you need to deliver to the Garage remains forever on the Map.  It does NOT on PS3.  I had the EC NRG 900 as the 30th Vehicle to deliver and wanted it to always spawn there, but it doesn't, lol...

But what about making the Helicopters AP?  Possible?

Yeah, in terms of PS3 and IV, the graphics aren't very good, a lot of blur for some reason, looks a lot worse compared to PC and probably 360, but I am not positive.  It's what I hear, though, and can clearly see on Youtube from people playing IV on PC compared to my PS3.  I like it on PS3, though.  Liberty City still looks great every time I play! :)

I am almost certain that is the case.  So if pretty much ALL Story Mission Special Vehicles can be treated like a "Rare" Vehicle, what 16 Special Vehicles do you think are the MUST HAVE?  Random Encounter Special Vehicles, Club Management Special Vehicles, and Unique Vehicles?  Or do you think the Drug War EC Special Vehicles, despite also still "Rare" like the Story Missions in this case, would be a good choice to get and keep in the parking spaces?  I agree with you about Special vs Rare and what each mean for IV, TLaD, and V, but since TBoGT has Replays and ALL Story Missions are obtainable through Replays, those Vehicles are more like "Rare" Vehicles so are EC Drug War Vehicles perhaps better to get since they take more time to find?

First of all, it's QUB3D, not CUBED. I had to clear up that disaster before I can address the main point of my post here.

YOU CAN ACTUALLY f*ckING DO THE MOST WANTED MISSIONS AT THE START? Sounds like I have a new challenge to further refine my master save, which I haven't touched since 2009...

Then I'll have to go update all my incremental files thus far, too. That'll be annoying.

I don't care what it's called "in game," it's still Cubed at the end of the day.  Just like FBI, FIB, I don't care what people want to call it, same thing.

Of course you can.  You need to manually type in a name and search on the Police Computer.  You can't go to the "Most Wanted" tab to find the guy or it'll give you an error every time that early in the game.

It's not even that hard.  I enjoyed doing some of the Stunt Jumps and Most Wanted with a six star Wanted Level, actually.  I could probably use a Maverick and a Sniper Rifle for most of the remaining 126 Pigeons I have left, too, but the remaining are all in Algonquin and Alderney, of course.

I have a 53% Starter Save in III, 44% Starter Save in VC, 13.90% Starter Save in SA (Includes Big Smoke Passed and the EC2 Black Perennial Acquired + Rare Vehicles to Convert to EP/FP with Gray Imports). 48% Starter Save in LCS, 49.20% Starter Save in VCS, 9.45% Starter Save in IV (Not Complete - Missing 2.50% for the Remaining 126 Pigeons), 16.06% Starter Save in TLaD, 10.61% Starter Save in TBoGT, 31.86% Starter Save in CW, and 13.30% Starter Save in V.  Literally, all 10 GTA's that I own have a Starter Save, 100% Save(s), etc, etc.  I've been doing all of this the past years and trying to assemble the best Starter Saves and 100% Saves around, lol

EDIT: Guide Updated!  I fixed some things like making note about the EC Light Blue and Lustered Super GT being unobtainable on PS3, the Property Terms to include "Lustered" and what it means, the proper terminology for each Special Vehicle listed in the Guide, and also gave credit to Lancet Jades Gamefaqs Guide at the top.  Out of all my Guides, this one contains a lot of information from his Guide since I only ever obtained 10 Special Vehicles in IV, whereas there is around 100.  He has more experience playing the game and knows more about the Special Vehicles in the game.  He plays on Xbox 360 and I play on PS3, though, so there could be some differences for how to obtain some of the Special Vehicles.

Hey, not quite on the topic of special vehicles, but pertaining to a master save. You wouldn't happen to have, or know of, a map that shows all the icons you can reveal on the map at the start of the game, do you? I've gotten all the icons in Algonquin and Alderney that I know of, but I've never seen a map that shows ALL of them, to know if I actually have them all.

Honestly, just WATCH THIS.  This is Part 1 of 70+ Videos for zmoonchild's Starter Save Videos on Youtube.  By watching this, you learn where a lot of Weapon and Body Armor Locations are.  He doesn't show ALL of them, of course, but the main ones since Ammo is shared between Weapons.  Like, if you pick up a Desert Eagle, and then continue to pick up regular Pistols, the Ammo is added to the Deagle.  Same applies to the Micro SMG and SMG, AK-47 and M4, etc, etc.  He shows some in Broker/Dukes, Bohan, Algonquin, and Alderney while completing 11.95% which is the highest you can reach in IV.  I have 9.45% so far since I need to still complete the remaining 126 Pigeons.

I also tried to find Maps on the Web, but everything was rather sh*tty and not much good Maps out there...

Btw, I am in the process of redoing my TLaD Save now! :D :p  Already 52.27% and ready for the final 25 Gang Wars before moving on with the Story and Special Vehicles.  Can't wait to get to Get Lost for the Laundromat and Prison Bus! ;)

I don't need to watch 70+ videos on a starter save. Mine is already complete (or almost there, at least). I had 9.45% completion before I learned that the Most Wanted could be done at the start. I now have the 11.95% completion on that save and max ammo for all weapons (I already know of the locations of all weapons and armor, and have for years).

But the icon thing is something I've thought about over the years but never actually saw a map for. My map has:

Broker/Dukes:

-1 Restaurant

-1 Bowling

-1 Darts

-1 Burger Shot

-1 Cluckin Bell

-2 Car Wash

-1 Pool

-1 Cabaret Club

-1 Internet Cafe

-1 Clothing Store

Bohan:

-2 Burger Shot

-1 Strip Club

Algonquin:

-1 Restaurant

-1 Bowling

-3 Burger Shot

-3 Clothing Store

-1 Car Wash

-1 Internet Cafe

-1 Comedy Club

-1 Cluckin Bell

Alderney:

-1 Burger Shot

-2 Car Wash

-1 Internet Cafe

-1 Strip Club

EDIT: Clothing shops and the Comedy Club can be gotten even at the start. Changing lists to reflect this. However, Gun Shops and Pay n Sprays cannot be mapped until you've unlocked them, apparently.
