We are working on a climatic modification, which is going to refresh this old, good game without destroying the game atmosphere. All vehicles have better quality (we took them from GTA III XBOX, GTA VC XBOX and GTA LCS iOS). We used ENB reflections only for a better effect, new particles, hud, generic textures ect.

Seems good. But try not to replace stock cars, by using some ASI scripts you can add as much vehicles as you want.

if yes you could add weapons too

because gta 3 doesn't have that much guns

Unfortunately, despite the efforts I realized that GTA 3 can not add any new weapons.

 

Edit: Possible that they can be added using the script , but we do not have anyone in the team who is able to do it..

At least it ain't called "GTA III DLC".
 
Anyway, I like the FBI Cruiser and the Roman's Taxi (CHANGE THE LICENSE PLATE ON IT), but the Deimos and the Perennial need some work on proper reflections. I bet you won't change anything in the gameplay, but... Are you gonna work on radio stations (extending the original ones/creating completely new ones/whatever)?

Also, who the f*ck came up with an idea to call that VC Taxi based car "Roman's Taxi". Have you ever heard about GTA universes? Roman Bellic can't exist in the 3D universe, just like 8-Ball, Salvatore, and literally every character from GTA III don't exist in the HD one.

And again, why don't use SkyGFX instead of ENB series? SkyGFX does exist for GTA III, and does look more impressive than ENB series.

In HD universe they are a lot of referenfes to the 3D universe. Why we can't add a reference to the HD universe in 3D univerce? I think it's good idea.

ENB? Hell no. If you want better reflections, just use aap's SkyGFX XBOX reflections.

i guess the dark car in the last screens are Roman's cab? if yes, i think you should keep them, its a nice little easter egg

 

also nice idea, revives GTA III a bit

Maybe you can take some IV textures? I heard some fits great in GTA 3 if I remember correct.

Not really?

Just because the HD Era car fits with the atmosphere, that doesn't mean it fits with everything else really. Using HD Era cars straight from IV/V, in a 3D Era game with some XBOX cars and LCS mobile cars (which still have a different style too) is not a good idea.

You should learn more about modding, such as editing the cars' materials in 3Ds Max (like the body textures, the reflection values) and editing the models (if they are from SA, give them a different steering wheel like III/VC use) instead of just porting cars with literally no modification to fit the game.

I kinda agree with Jinx on this one. Not trying to sound rude, but i'd much rather take III Xbox vehicles and modify em' a bit (change materials, move a few polys there and there) but at least you will get a more suitable result.

Not specifically those, but the LCS cars, which are on par with the PC/PS2 one quality wise and don't even have proper reflections at all. And by all means, AVOIDING HD Era models (especially when some of them have a SA counterpart).
