1.0. EC Magenta Diabolus (1 of 2)

Mission: ...Clean and Serene

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, ...Clean and Serene, and as soon as you take control of Johnny on the way back to the Clubhouse with the rest of the Gang following behind, instead, lead the Gang to one of the eight parking spaces in the game where you can store Vehicles.  When you arrive at one of the parking spaces, get Jason to drive into the designated area where Vehicles are saved and then shoot him dead off the EC Magenta Diabolus.  The Mission will fail and restart.  Before completing the Mission after killing Jason, go confirm the EC Magenta Diabolus is still in the parking space.  If it is, then continue on with the Mission as normal and pass it.

1.1. EC Crimson Diabolus (1 of 5)

Mission: ...Clean and Serene

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, ...Clean and Serene, and simply pass the Mission like normal.  Once the Mission is passed, you will see this EC Crimson Diabolus sitting in the parking space at the Clubhouse already parked for you!  However, Johnny's Hexer and Billy's Revenant will also be in the parking space.  You must remove these other Bikes before you save the game or it's very possible that the EC Crimson Diabolus will vanish after reloading the game since two Vehicles can only be parked at each parking space in the game.  Three or more will make one or more of the Vehicles disappear, so make sure that the EC Crimson Diabolus is the only one left in the parking space before saving the game.

1.2. EC Magenta Diabolus (2 of 2)

Mission: Angels in America

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Angels in America, and as soon as you take control of Johnny, use the Sawn Off Shotgun to shoot and kill Jason off the EC Magenta Diabolus.  The Mission will fail since Jason died and the EC Magenta Diabolus will be left there on the ground.  Just take it back to a parking space to store it at this point.

1.3. EC Crimson Diabolus (2 of 5)

Mission: It's War

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, It's War, and go through the Mission like normal taking out the Angels of Death Gang in two separate locations.  Return to Billy after taking out the AoD in the first location and continue to the final location to battle it out with the AoD.  After killing all the AoD, you'll get a message to return to your Hexer.  However, instead of doing that, just run toward Brian's EC Crimson Diabolus and get onto it.  Once Johnny is on Brian's Diabolus, drive it next to where your Hexer is sitting and a cutscene will take place and the Mission will be passed shortly after.  Johnny will not be sitting on the Diabolus after the cutscene, but the Diabolus will still be left where you drove it next to the Hexer before the cutscene.  At this point, just get onto it and take it back to a parking space to store it.

1.4. EC Crimson Diabolus (3 of 5)

Mission: Action/Reaction

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This EC Crimson Diabolus is probably best to get in ...Clean and Serene or It's War since getting it from Action/Reaction requires you to fail the Mission whereas you can pass ...Clean and Serene or It's War while obtaining it.  I also heard that failing this Mission to get the EC Crimson Diabolus doesn't always work depending on which Platform or Version you are playing on.  Sometimes after the Mission is failed, you will be left where the Mission is failed but other times, you are teleported back to the Clubhouse thus making this particular Diabolus in the Mission completely unobtainable.  To get it, however, is still easy.  Start the Mission, Action/Reaction, and as soon as you take control of Johnny, just shoot and kill Brian off the EC Crimson Diabolus and take it back to a parking space to store it.

1.5. EC Black Yankee with Wooden Crate Back

Mission: Liberty City Choppers

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This Yankee has a unique model to it and you won't find any other Yankee in TLaD like it.  Not only is the Yankee EC Black, but it has the Wooden Crate Back to it making it a unique model for the Yankee and an all around great Special Vehicle for your collection.  Unfortunately, it will cost you a Mission Failure in the Stats to obtain it, though.  Start the Mission, Liberty City Choppers, and just drive your Hexer to the location on the radar where you will find this special Yankee sitting at.  When you arrive, simply shoot and kill Jim to fail the Mission and then just get into the EC Black Yankee with Wooden Crate Back and drive it back to a parking space to store it.

1.6. Lustered Black Schafter with Silver Grill

Mission: Politics

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Special Lusters Are Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, and Yellow in which can be found on this Black Schafter.  To get the Luster you want, however, means you have to keep reloading the game until the Luster you're looking for gets chosen to spawn on the Schafter.  I have never seen the Schafter without any Luster at all, though, so no matter which Luster you get, it's still special in the end.  Start the Mission, Politics, and head to the Airport.  When you arrive, you will see three Lustered Black Schafters with a Silver Grill parked with agents inside of them to the left of the Maverick that is landing shortly on the Helipad.  Simply shoot and kill the target exiting the Helicopter and then jack one of the three Schafters after killing the agents inside.  Leave the Airport once you get into one of the Schafters and lose your four star wanted level to pass the Mission.  After the Mission is passed, drive it back to a parking space to store it.  This seems to be only one of three Special Vehicles in TLaD that have a Luster, so it's a rather nice Special Vehicle to obtain for your collection.

1.7. EC Sky Blue Rhapsody

Mission: Off Route

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 1.8 of the Guide if you are interested in obtaining the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody and Unique Prison Bus at the same time while failing the Mission once.  For this entry, I am explaining how to get the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody alone, while passing the Mission.  For serious collectors, this is the better idea since another Unique Prison Bus comes up in the Mission, Get Lost, at the end of the game and can be obtained while passing the Mission.  If you want to keep your Missions Failed/Attempted Stats to a minimum, that is the better option, however getting it in that Mission is much more time consuming.  Start the Mission, Off Route, and as soon as the cutscene ends, across the street you will find this EC Sky Blue Rhapsody just sitting there.  Simply take it back to a parking space to store it, then continue on with the Mission like normal.  Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that it's still in the parking space before moving on and saving the game.  If you store a Special Vehicle taken from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the game doesn't fully acknowledge the Special Vehicle is stored in the parking space so if you would save the game and then reload without checking on the Special Vehicle first, it would disappear.

1.8. Unique Prison Bus (1 of 2)

Mission: Off Route

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: In this entry, I will be explaining how to get the Unique Prison Bus and EC Sky Blue Rhapsody at the same time while failing the Mission only once.  However, if you are a serious collector, I would wait to obtain the Unique Prison Bus in Get Lost together with the Unique/EC Black and Lustered Laundromat at the same time and pass the Mission.  That way, you avoid having to fail Off Route to obtain this particular Unique Prison Bus and won't get an extra Mission Failure/Attempt in the Stats as well as a Replay Used in the Stats.  Start the Mission, Off Route, and notice the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody parked across the street.  Go to it and take it back to any parking space.  Once you take the Rhapsody back to a parking space, proceed to the Prison where the Mission is instructing you to go.  When you get there, do the usual and steal the Prison Bus.  Once you steal the Prison Bus, you will have a three star wanted level.  Once you lose the wanted level, the game will instruct you to go drop off the inmates at a location, however, don't do this and instead, drive the Prison Bus back to a parking space, preferably one that doesn't already have a Vehicle parked there.  Park the Prison Bus in the parking space and try and blow it up with an RPG but without it moving out of the parking space.  This can be rather luck based and take a few tries, but just be patient.  As soon as the Prison Bus explodes and you receive a text message on the phone to retry the Mission, do so!  This is crucial for this to work.  If you don't retry the Mission immediately, then the Prison Bus will vanish every single time.  I've tried to obtain it without using a Replay of the Mission, but after about two or three seconds after the Mission has failed, it would disappear.  Retrying the Mission immediately will teleport you away from the parking space you blew the Prison Bus up at, thus allowing it to be restored right away.  At this point when you select to retry the Mission, you will be put directly in front of the Prison and at the part again where you steal the Prison Bus.  Go through the Mission like you normally would until you pass it and after passing the Mission, confirm both the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody is still in the parking space where you parked it earlier.  After, confirm the Unique Prison Bus is restored and still at the parking space you blew it up in.  If you store a Special Vehicle taken from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the game doesn't fully acknowledge the Special Vehicle is stored in the parking space so if you would save the game and then reload without checking on the Special Vehicle first, it would disappear.

1.9. EC Black Diabolus

Mission: This Sh1t's Cursed

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, This Sh1t's Cursed, and as soon as the cutscene ends and you take control of Johnny, simply shoot and kill Brian to fail the Mission.  Take the EC Black Diabolus he was riding back to a parking space to store it.  Make note that after killing Brian, sometimes his Bike will land right next to the yellow marker to start the Mission again.  Try not to start the Mission again before storing the Diabolus or it's likely to vanish.

Video by Bender.

2.0. EC Crimson Diabolus (4 of 5)

Mission: This Sh1t's Cursed

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Since you could of obtained this EC Crimson Diabolus from either ...Clean and Serene or It's War while passing the Mission, I don't see why you would want to get this particular one since you have to fail the Mission to get this one.  Start the Mission, This Sh1t's Cursed, and go through the Mission like normal taking out all of the enemies.  After taking out all of the enemies, you will be instructed to return to your Bike.  When you return, you will be instructed to lead the Gang back to the Clubhouse.  At this time, turn your attention to the Bike Brian is riding.  Simply shoot him dead off the Bike and the Mission will fail.  At this time, drive the EC Crimson Diabolus back to a parking space to store it.

2.1. Unique Laundromat (1 of 2)

Mission: End of Chapter

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, End of Chapter, and go meet Brian at the docks.  After the cutscene, a shootout will take place and eventually backup will come.  The Vans that the backup goons come in are the Unique Laundromats.  Take out all the goons assuring that you don't blow up all of the Laundromats in the process.  After killing everyone, a cutscene will take place while Brian and his goons try and escape.  If you didn't blow up all of the Laundromats, one or more will still be where you saw them before the cutscene.  Just get into the Laundromat and use it to drive where Brian and the goons have gone and kill all the goons.  Once you kill all the goons fleeing on Bikes, you will get the message saying go to Jim.  Instead of going to Jim, however, drive the Unique Laundromat back to a parking space to store it.  After parking it, get back to Jim and another cutscene will take place and the Mission will be passed and Johnny will be teleported back to the Clubhouse.  Go confirm the Unique Laundromat is still in the parking space before moving on and saving the game.  If you store a Special Vehicle taken from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the game doesn't fully acknowledge the Special Vehicle is stored in the parking space so if you would save the game and then reload without checking on the Special Vehicle first, it would disappear.  Make note that if you are driving a Laundromat yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the road despite this being a Unique Vehicle.

2.2. Unique Regina

Mission: Heavy Toll

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Heavy Toll, and head to the Toll Booth and wait for the Convoy to arrive.  When the Convoy arrives, shoot and kill as many enemies as possible inside all the Reginas and the Slamvan assuring not to cause too much damage to the Slamvan or one of the Reginas.  After taking everyone out, get into the Slamvan and use it to push one of the Reginas across the bridge to Niko's South Bohan parking spaces.  Secure the Unique Regina in the parking space and then just drive the Slamvan to the lockup to pass the Mission. Make note that if any dead body is still inside the Regina when you get it back to the parking spaces, it will vanish from the parking space.  Try and roll any body out of the Vehicle by going around turns sharply so the Unique Regina can be saved properly.  Also make note that if you are driving a Regina yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the road despite this being a Unique Vehicle.

2.3. Unique Roman's Taxi

Mission: Roman's Holiday

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Roman's Holiday, and go meet up with Malc.  After the cutscene, you will be inside a Presidente and instructed to go to the Gambling Den.  At this time, using your phone, call Roman's Cab Depot at 555-2222 to request Roman to come pick Johnny and Malc up.  When he arrives in the Unique Roman's Taxi, walk up to it and a cutscene will take place.  After the cutscene, immediately get out of Roman's Taxi and shoot and kill Malc to fail the Mission.  After the Mission fails, take the Unique Roman's Taxi back to a parking space to store it.

Video by Bender.

2.4. Lustered Black Stretch

Mission: Diamonds in the Rough

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Diamonds in the Rough, and do it like normal up until you need to follow the Stretch and kill Evan Moss.  The Stretch seems to only ever be Lustered Gold/Yellow and none of the other five Lusters will ever be found on it.  Furthermore, it's only two of three Special Vehicles found in TLaD with a Luster, so it's rather a nice one for your collection.  Kill all the occupants in the Stretch as well as Evan Moss to obtain this Lustered Black Stretch.  It could be difficult, though, since it appears that Evan has increased health during the Mission.  Try not to wreck the Stretch in the process of killing him.  After Evan is killed, pick up the dropped Diamonds and take the Lustered Black Stretch back to a parking space to store it and then continue on with the Mission like normal until it's passed.

2.5. EC Zombie with Black Rimmed Tires

Mission: Collector's Item

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: The Zombie is an ordinary Zombie, but what makes it special is the Black Rimmed Tires.  All other Zombies have White Rims and the Lost Zombies have Red Rims, thus making this Zombie extra special due to the Black Rims.  Start the Mission, Collector's Item, and go through the Mission like normal until reaching the end where you are instructed to go to Jim and give him the money after escaping the Museum and killing off Ray's henchmen.  The Zombie with Black Rimmed Tires will be sitting right next to Jim.  Simply approach the Bikes without activating the cutscene and shoot at them to fail the Mission.  Just take the Zombie with Black Rimmed Tires back to a parking space to store it.

2.6. EC Black Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill

Mission: Collector's Item

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Collector's Item, and head to the Museum.  When you arrive, you will see some of these EC Black or White Mafia PMP 600's with a Hybrid Grill scattered around the Museum.  Before going into the yellow marker, simply jack a Black or White PMP 600 and drive it back to a parking space to store it and then come back and jack a Black or White PMP 600 and drive it back to a parking space to store it.  Once both PMP 600's are in the parking space, go back to the Museum and do the rest like normal until the Mission is passed.  Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that both of the PMP 600's are still in the parking space before moving on and saving the game.  If you store a Special Vehicle taken from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the game doesn't fully acknowledge the Special Vehicle is stored in the parking space so if you would save the game and then reload without checking on the Special Vehicle first, it would disappear.  Alternatively, you can park either the Black or White PMP 600 in a parking space and then return to the Museum and do the Mission like normal by fighting your way out of the Museum.  When you get out and are chasing more of Ray's henchmen, simply take the Black or White PMP 600 that isn't stored at the parking space yet and finish the Mission while driving it.  Make note that sometimes Ray's henchmen will be scripted to take a certain Black or White PMP 600 during the chase at the end of the Mission.  If this is the case with one or both PMP 600's you took back to a parking space, they will disappear after the Mission is over.  It may take some persistence to get both of these PMP 600's at the same time while passing the Mission.

Video by Bender.

2.7. EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill

Mission: Collector's Item

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 2.6 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill.  In 2.6 of the Guide, I explain how to get both the EC Black Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill as well as the EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill and pass the Mission at the same time.

Video by Bender.

2.8. Unique/EC Black and Lustered Laundromat (2 of 2)

Mission: Get Lost

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: The task you are about to attempt is by far the hardest and most time consuming task in all of TLaD.  However, if you have the patience, it shouldn't be that bad.  I'll be explaining how to get both the Unique/EC Black and Lustered Laundromat and Unique Prison Bus at the same time while passing the Mission.  Special Lusters Are Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red, and Yellow in which can be found on this EC Black Laundromat.  To get the Luster you want, however, means you have to keep reloading the game until the Luster you're looking for gets chosen to spawn on the Laundromat.  Not only that, the Laundromat tends to not be Lustered at all, so if that is the case, you will also need to reload until it spawns with a Luster.  For years, there was a much more luck based Method in order to obtain these two Special Vehicles from Get Lost, but I was informed of a much better Method of which I will be explaining.  Start the Mission, Get Lost, and head into the Prison to confront Billy and then kill him.  When you enter the Prison, you will see both the Laundromat and Prison Bus sitting there, however, guards will sometimes use them as cover and they can take a lot of gunfire and become weaker.  Try to keep them in tact as best you can since you'll be pushing both the Laundromat and Prison Bus back to Brian's Safehouse parking spaces later on.  Make your way through the Prison until you confront Billy and kill him.  On the way out, however, stop and park your Hexer inside the Prison in the lot where the Laundromat and Prison Bus are sitting in.  At this time, go on foot to the southern end of Latchkey Ave and call 911 and request a Fire Truck.  The Fire Truck should come and spawn at the northern end of the road coming toward you.  Jack the Fire Truck and use it to carefully push both the Laundromat and Prison Bus out into the street.  What you'll have to do from this point forward is have good camera control and keep the camera on the Fire Truck, Laundromat, and Prison Bus at all times while double driving the Hexer along with the Fire Truck pushing both Special Vehicles all the way back to Brian's Safehouse parking spaces.  This will take you a long time, so be patient.  Also, make sure you push with the back of the Fire Truck against the Laundromat and Prison Bus on the way back to Brian's Safehouse.  You don't want to risk a wanted level which can be obtained by pushing both of these Vehicles violently and with the front of the Fire Truck.  Also be careful of Terry and Clay.  I've failed the Mission due to Terry or Clay wrecking their Bike on the way back to Brian's Safehouse apparently because I ran into them too hard or too many times.  They like to get in the way of the Fire Truck when pushing the Vehicles back to Brian's Safehouse.  If any of the Vehicles catch fire on the way back, you can put the fire out with the Fire Truck itself, but don't get any cops see you do that, either, or you will get a wanted level.  What I mean when I say to double drive the Hexer along with the Fire Truck pushing both Special Vehicles is to drive the Hexer up the road a bit while keeping the camera on the Fire Truck and both Special Vehicles, then park the Hexer and run on foot back to the Fire Truck and continue pushing the Special Vehicles up to where your Hexer was parked.  Continue to do this task of double driving and camera control until you get back to Brian's Safehouse.  When you arrive back to the Safehouse, push both the Unique/EC Black and Lustered Laundromat into the parking space as well as the Unique Prison Bus and ditch the Fire Truck.  Brian's Safehouse parking space will be just long enough to accommodate both Special Vehicles.  The Prison Bus or Laundromat might slightly be on top of the sidewalk, but that's fine and they will save without an issue.  Then just drive the Hexer with the rest of the Gang back to the Clubhouse and pass the Mission like normal.  Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that both the Laundromat and Prison Bus are still in the parking space before moving on and saving the game.  If you store a Special Vehicle taken from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the game doesn't fully acknowledge the Special Vehicle is stored in the parking space so if you would save the game and then reload without checking on the Special Vehicle first, it would disappear.  If you managed to pull this off, then congratulations!  This is the hardest task you will face in TLaD.  The Laundromat is the third of three Special Vehicles in TLaD that has a Luster, so it's a rather nice Special Vehicle for your collection.  Also make note that if you are driving a Laundromat yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the road despite this being a Unique Vehicle.

2.9. Unique Prison Bus (2 of 2)

Mission: Get Lost

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 2.8 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this Unique Prison Bus.  In 2.8 of the Guide, I explain how to get both the Unique/EC Black and Lustered Laundromat and Unique Prison Bus and pass the Mission at the same time.

3.0. EC Crimson Diabolus (5 of 5)

Mission: Brian Jeremy Random Encounter

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Make note that this Random Encounter will only be available if you spared Brian during the Mission, Bad Standing.  If you killed him during the Mission, then this EC Crimson Diabolus won't be obtainable for the fifth time in the game.  Also, this Random Encounter is not required for 100% completion.  Simply locate Brian's Random Encounter but don't get close enough to trigger it.  Aim a gun in the direction of Brian and shoot which will cancel the Mission.  Brian will run off leaving his EC Crimson Diabolus behind.  Simply get onto it and drive it back to a parking space to store it.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

3.1. EC Bright Red Turismo

Mission: Dave Grossman Random Encounter

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail (Doesn't Effect Stats)

How to Obtain: Start the Random Encounter for Dave Grossman.  You'll be instructed to intimidate the Lawyer who will be driving this EC Bright Red Turismo back to his house in Alderney.  However, don't do anything.  Simply tail him all the way back to his house in Alderney and eventually the Random Encounter will fail when the Lawyer pulls into his driveway.  After the Random Encounter fails, you will see his EC Bright Red Turismo still sitting in the driveway.  Jack a random Vehicle from traffic or call 911 and request a Fire Truck or Ambulance and use it to push the Turismo all the way back to Niko's Alderney parking space.  The Turismo is very light, so pushing it won't be an issue.  Try not to push violently, though, or it may cause unwanted attention from the Police and may also damage the Turismo too much before getting it back to the Alderney parking space.  Once you manage to push it back to the Alderney parking space, simply drive away around the block and when you return, the Turismo will be restored good as new and the doors will now be unlocked.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

3.2. EC Green/Yellow Bati 800

Mission: Malc First Random Encounter

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: At the start of the first Random Encounter for Malc, you will be given this EC Green/Yellow Bati 800 to drive to the location to take out some enemies.  Simply drive to the location using the EC Green/Yellow Bati 800 and kill all the enemies and the Random Encounter will be passed and you'll still be in possession of this Bati 800.  Just drive it back to a parking space to store it.  There is also an EC Red Wolfsbane and EC Blue Nightblade scattered around the enemies that can be obtained from this same Random Encounter and you can actually get the Bati 800 along with both the Wolfsbane and Nightblade all at the same time while passing the Random Encounter, however, you would need to triple drive all three of them back to a parking space, unload two of them in a parking space, and then drive the third to another parking space to store it.  To get all three of them is probably more time consuming than getting one at a time or even two at a time.  Since Side Missions don't count against you in the Stats if you fail them, I'd just kill Malc or DeSean during the Random Encounter to fail it and simply obtain one or two of the Special Vehicles at a time.  When you return to Malc and try the Random Encounter again, at this time just pass it like normal and obtain the remaining one or two Special Vehicles you need from the Random Encounter.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

3.3. EC Red Wolfsbane

Mission: Malc First Random Encounter

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 3.2 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this EC Red Wolfsbane.  In 3.2 of the Guide, I explain how to get all three obtainable Special Vehicles from the Random Encounter while passing the Mission at the same time.  I also explain how to get one or two at a time.

3.4. EC Blue Nightblade

Mission: Malc First Random Encounter

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 3.2 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this EC Blue Nightblade.  In 3.2 of the Guide, I explain how to get all three obtainable Special Vehicles from the Random Encounter while passing the Mission at the same time.  I also explain how to get one or two at a time.

3.5. EC Black Huntley Sport

Mission: First Impressions (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, First Impressions, and make your way to the Cafe.  When you arrive, you will see an EC Black Huntley Sport and an EC Black Oracle outside of the Cafe parked to the side of the road.  Just jack one of the two Special Vehicles and eventually the enemies will leave the Cafe and start chasing you in which ever Vehicle you are not driving.  Just kill the enemies in the Vehicle following you and the Mission will be passed.  After passing the Mission, you'll be in possession of whichever Special Vehicle you jacked from the Cafe as well as the other Special Vehicle that the enemies were chasing you with.  Double drive the EC Black Huntley Sport together with the EC Black Oracle back to a parking space and store both of them.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

3.6. EC Black Oracle

Mission: First Impressions (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry)

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 3.5 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this EC Black Oracle.  In 3.5 of the Guide, I explain how to get both obtainable Special Vehicles from the Mission while passing the Mission at the same time.

3.7. Unique/EC Orange Infernus with Black Stripe

Mission: Knowing Me, Knowing You (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry)

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail (Doesn't Effect Stats)

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Knowing Me, Knowing You, and head to the location of where you are instructed to steal the Vehicle.  The Vehicle you will be stealing for the Mission is this Unique/EC Orange Infernus with Black Stripe.  It can spawn with or without a Spoiler, so you will have to reload the game until it spawns in the variation you prefer.  Simply get inside the Infernus and ignore what you are instructed to do.  Just drive it back to any parking space and store it.  Once it's secured in the parking space, get another random Vehicle and just wait until the timer runs out and the Mission fails.  Once the Mission is failed, drive around the block away from the parking space and when you return, the Unique/EC Orange Infernus with Black Stripe will be sitting there and the doors will be unlocked.  Also make note that if you are driving an Infernus yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the road despite this being a Unique Vehicle.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

3.8. EC Light Blue Habanero

Mission: Phone Ho! (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry)

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: You can obtain both this EC Light Blue Habanero and the EC Bright Red Cognoscenti at the same time from the Mission and pass it, however, it may be tricky and more time consuming in the end than obtaining one at a time and failing the Mission the first time through and then passing it the second time through while obtaining the Cognoscenti.  It's ultimately your choice whichever Method you decide and won't really matter in the end, anyways, since even if you fail the Mission, it won't count against you in the Stats.  I'll be explaining how to get the EC Light Blue Habanero while failing the Mission and then how to get the EC Bright Red Cognoscenti while passing the Mission.  Start the Mission, Phone Ho!, and get to the vantage point on the roof so you can take a photo of the Politician and send it to Stubbs.  Before the EC Bright Red Cognoscenti shows up which the Politician will be driving, you will find the EC Light Blue Habanero come by and pick up a Hooker.  At this point, just jump off the roof and run toward the Habanero and jack it.  Drive away to take it back to a parking space and store it while the Mission fails shortly after.  After storing the Habanero and failing the Mission, restart the Mission and simply go through it like normal until you take the photo of the Politician and send it to Stubbs.  As soon as the photo is sent, the Mission will be passed and all you have to do is jump off the roof and either kill the Politician and claim his Cognoscenti or try and block his path and just jack it from him.  Once you're in possession of the Cognoscenti, just drive it back to a parking space and store it.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

3.9. EC Bright Red Cognoscenti

Mission: Phone Ho! (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry)

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 3.8 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this EC Bright Red Cognoscenti.  In 3.8 of the Guide, I explain how to get both obtainable Special Vehicles from the Mission.

4.0. Dukes with Missing Hood Scoop (Glitched)

Mission: Communication Breakdown (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry)

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Communication Breakdown, and go to meet the contact.  When you arrive, a cutscene will take place and after the cutscene, you will be standing right next to the Dukes with Missing Hood Scoop while the contact drives away in it.  As quickly as you can, just pull out a gun and shoot and kill the contact driving away and then claim his Dukes after the Mission is passed.  Just drive it back to a parking space to store it.  Make note that the Missing Hood Scoop doesn't always appear during the Mission.  If that is the case, you must reload until it spawns without it.  Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu.  So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

Good stuff! :)  Keep 'em coming ;)  Like I told you in PM, I need all the help I can get with the Videos since there is dick on Youtube for the HD Era GTA's and Special Vehicles.  There is hundreds of Videos for the 3D Era GTA's, but now it's time to get the HD Era known.  This should help out a lot of people.  Will add it into the Guide now.  I added in the other Video you showed me in PM earlier.

@Bender., I recommend turning AUTOSAVE OFF

That truly can f*ck you over big time when it saves...After losing a Vehicle or f*cking something up...

Well, like I first said...Sometime in July.  Well...It's July.  After I finish this one, I will work on GTA IV and then TBoGT.  We'll see if I got any steam left for GTA V once I finish off the IV Trilogy GTA's...

Luckily Bender. is helping record all these Vehicles.  It's good to see Videos going along with walls of text for better understanding...

Awesome!  You plan on recording the missing Vehicles, though?  You're jumping around I noticed.  Like, you got the Videos for 1.2. and 1.3., but not 1.0. or 1.1.

It's no rush, but don't forget!  I'd imagine those in ...Clean and Serene are very easy to get...

Nice!  It's nothing to worry about.  Afterall, it's been years these HD Era GTA's have been out, but no Videos are out there for them, so it's good they are coming to light now.  Similar to jam8tone's Channel...He's the only one out there who has a FULL Guide for LCS/VCS...Nobody has extensive Videos for those games like he does.  So I reckon when all is said and done, your Channel will be the one to go to for the HD Era Videos :D :p

I'll add it in shortly.  I will watch it first and also add another entry or two into the Guide, too.

EDIT: Added into the Guide.  Btw, the only 2 Missions Failures I have in my TLaD Save is from Off Route and Roman's Holiday.  But the next Save will only have 1, from Roman's Holiday, and I will pass Get Lost while obtaining the Unique Prison Bus and the Unique/EC Black Laundromat.

Thanks, however, that Schafter is already in the Guide...

I also think the same exact Schafter can be obtained during a Gang War with the Russians.  They drive them and it looks like they have a Silver Grill, Black Rims, and all Black Primary Color, just like the ones in Politics...

Alright, the Guide is finished.  If anyone sees any errors or notices anything that isn't right, let me know and I will fix it.  As I said since before starting this Guide, I didn't have much to go off of since most information pertaining to TLaD Special Vehicles is outdated, some information even not correct.  Furthermore, I only ever obtained a handful of Special Vehicles in TLaD, thus not having the knowledge of the entire database from my own personal experience.  Whereas, I've obtained every Vehicle that practically exists in III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS so writing those Guides were a lot easier since I was able to write from personal experience.

Actually, been waiting a while for this guide. Only thing is I still have LCS (almost done), VCS and IV to finish before I start on TLAD so this guide will be quite useful in the coming months. Good job finishing it.

Thanks, but it's reminding me a lot of CW Guide, which is another HD Era GTA and the Guide that not many people are looking into...These don't get any replies and people looking into anything in these Games.  There's gotta be a reason not many Videos are out there for such HD Era GTA Games.  Nobody seems to care for the HD Era and Special Vehicle Collecting.

I can see why that is, but I personally like writing up the Guides in general, since it refreshes my own knowledge about the Games.  Most Vehicles in the HD Era, I guess are boring and too easy to obtain.  Just like in this Guide, everything is a 1 or 2 star difficulty with the occasional 3 star....Then only 2 Vehicles which are a 5 star, found in the last Story Mission, Get Lost.  The only challenging task in the entire game is getting the Unique/EC Black Laundromat and Unique Prison Bus at the same time and passing the Mission.  Other than that, there isn't much else that is worthy of giving yourself a pat on the back for :D :p

I've been getting some of my Facts from HERE, however in this Guide, it makes no mention of that.  There is a Phantom driven by Russians, but it's said to be Black and not special.  You sure it's the Mafia and not Russians?  Each Gang has signature Vehicles, some special, some not during Gang Wars and I can't recall seeing any Phantoms driven by the Mafia, but the Russians.  Is the Green Luster special?  If you can confirm, I will add it into the Mafia Gang Vehicles Section...

Also, some of the things said in that Guide aren't accurate.  Like, a Double T Custom, Hakuchou Custom, Gang Burrito, Slamvan, etc aren't considered Unique Vehicles, but I don't see how they aren't Unique Vehicles...None spawn on the streets at all, and only can be found in Missions, Gang Wars, and Races...They do, however, spawn if you are driving them except for Gang Burritos and Slamvans, of course.

The Russians drive a black Stretch as a convoy target vehicle. The Mafia uses a Green Lustered Phantom.

It's during a Convoy Gang War with the Mafia?  Ok, I will put it into the Guide! :D :p

Thanks for contributing...

Btw, you should record all the HD Era Videos whenever you get your PC back up and working for recording, or whatever.  Your Channel can be like jam8tone's Channel is for LCS/VCS, but yours will be for the HD Era...It pisses me off how there is nothing out there at all for the HD Era besides a handful of Videos here and there but nothing extensive...

Yeah, when it comes to TLaD, I prefer the Unique Vehicles over everything else.  If there is room left, then I get some EC's :D :p  Since Vehicles aren't immune to anything in the HD Era except for IV and CW, I like the Unique Vehicles the most.

Btw, if you are interested in making Videos for the Guide, go for it.  I can add them in.  In the case of TLaD, since not many Videos are out there, I certainly will add in the Video.  Any Video is better than no Video at all.  When it came to my 3D Era GTA Guides, I put the best Videos in, despite Videos out there for the same exact Vehicle.  I picked the best.  But since TLaD has nothing, all Videos will be added....Whoever uploads them and posts them first, I will put them into the Guide...
