GTA TLaD Special Vehicle Guide

Special Vehicle Properties Legend:

EC (UC) = Exclusive Color or Unique Color - The Special Vehicle has a Primary and Visible Secondary Color Combination that can't be duplicated with Pay and Spray or found in Traffic. Make note that Color 4 on some Vehicles is only Random if it's a Lustered Vehicle.

EC2 (UC2) = Exclusive Color 2 or Unique Color 2 - The Special Vehicle has a Special Invisible Secondary Color which can't be seen on the Vehicle.

Lustered = Lustered -  The Special Vehicle has another Color overlapping its Base Color and is only best seen in the Daylight with a lot of Sunshine. The term Lustered is only used on Vehicles that have Randomly chosen Lusters every time you start the Mission where the Lustered Special Vehicle appears in. Be very careful as some Lusters are not Special if the Vehicle is not EC.

Unique = Unique - The Special Vehicle is Unique when it can only be obtained from a Story Mission or Side Mission, the vehicle itself is Special as it's not possible to find it Parked or in Traffic. However, some Unique Vehicles in TLaD can be found in Traffic but only if you're driving one, which still makes them Unique.

Parking Spots:

Every GTA TLaD Save can have 16 (or 14 on PC and early Xbox 360 Versions) Vehicles and the Vehicles can be saved in 8 (7) Parking Spots which all have a Maximum Capacity of 2. You can use IV's and (on some Versions) TBoGT's Parking Spaces. If you're playing on PC and on early Digital Xbox 360 Versions, Luis' Apartment won't be available for you to store Vehicles.

1.0. EC Magenta Diabolus (1 of 2)
Mission: Clean and Serene (Fail + Suicide, or Fail, depends on the Platform and Version)
How to Obtain: Welcome to Liberty City, again! This is Jason's EC Magenta Diabolus found in the first two Story Missions of TLaD. The first one requires a Failure and Suicide on some Versions, while it requires a Failure only on some other Versions. It's even unknown if you can obtain this without Suicide, though there were reports that it was possible. Either way, I suggest to not obtain it from Clean and Serene, and just wait to obtain it from Angels in America, which requires a Failure only. This Diabolus has a Special Bright Magenta/Purple Body Color with a Dark Blue Frame on it, it also has a Red Set Luster which makes the Bike look incredibly awesome. To obtain it, start the first Mission in the Game by making a New Game, Clean and Serene, and as soon as you take control of Johnny and are instructed to go back to the Lost MC Clubhouse with the rest of the Gang following behind, instead, lead the Lost Gang to one of the other seven Parking Spots in the Game where you can store Vehicles. I suggest using the Alderney Safehouse Parking Spot as it's nearby. When you arrive at one of the Parking Spots, get Jason to drive into the Designated Area Zone where the Vehicles are saved and then shoot him dead off his EC Magenta Diabolus. The Mission will fail and restart. Before completing the Mission after killing Jason, go to the Parking Spot and confirm that the EC Magenta Diabolus is still in the Parking Spot. If it is, then continue on with the Mission as normal and pass it. If it's not there, make a New Game and try again. If the Suicideless Method just explained doesn't work for you, start up a New Game and go to Mr. Fuk's Rice Box located in Alderney City. Behind the Restaurant, on a ledge, you will find Grenades, pick them up and go to a Parking Spot. Once there, lure Jason's Diabolus onto the Parking Spot Zone and kill him off his Bike using your Sawn-off Shotgun. After he's dead, immediately switch to the Grenades, accelerate a bit forward and blow yourself up. Once the Grenade blows you up, Johnny will be wasted and the Game will restart the Mission. Once you're back at the Rehab Clinic, drive to the Parking Spot and see if the EC Magenta Diabolus is there. If it is, complete and pass the Mission, if it's not then start a New Game and retry again. This Bike is not useful to obtain, again, just obtain it from Angels in America if you want it.

1.1. EC Black Gang Burrito (1 of 3)
Mission: Clean and Serene (Pass)
How to Obtain: During the Part of the First Mission where you kill the Angels of Death to retrieve Billy's Bike back, there will be two EC Black Gang Burritos parked there in the Area. These Gang Burritos are fully EC Black, though it's a hassle to get it from Clean and Serene. I suggest getting it from Action/Reaction, or even from Gang Wars. It's practically a Rare Vehicle as it can always be obtained after 100% during Gang Wars. However, on some Versions of TLaD, as reported on The Greatest Hits PS3 Versions, the Gang Burrito may never even spawn during Gang Wars, so then it would be a Unique/EC Black Gang Burrito as you're forced to obtained it from either Clean and Serene or from Action/Reaction. To obtain the first one, start a New Game, drive to the Lost MC Clubhouse, then to Pretty Boy's Garage, then finally to the place where you kill the AoD to get Billy's Revenant back. Once you get there, let Billy get off your Hexer and then drive a bit south. Find a Car from Traffic which you can use to push the Gang Burritos, I suggest using a Cavalcade as it's a very good Pushing Vehicle. Though, make sure that you don't drive away too much from the Hexer and from the Shootout Area. During this part, some of the Lost may die, thus failing this process, thus you'll need to start a New Game. Once you got a Pushing Vehicle, drive it to the Compound and kill the AoD nearby the Gang Burritos, making sure that you don't blow up the Burritos. Only leave one AoD Gang Member alive, and that Guy should be the one at the School Bus Wrecks on the far left from where you enter. Leave him alive, don't worry about the Lost killing him as they won't, because they have horrible accuracy. Once they're dead and one is left alive, get into your Pushing Vehicle and push the EC Black Gang Burrito out of the Compound and push it to Playboy X's Parking Spot nearby. Once you get nearer to it, you will need to get out of your Vehicle and get on your Hexer, because you will fail the Mission if you abandon your Bike, so make sure Johnny's Hexer is always with him. I suggest double driving the Hexer and your Pushing Vehicle while pushing the Gang Burrito. Once you finally got the EC Black Gang Burrito to the Parking Spot, leave it there, then get on the Hexer and drive to the Shootout Location and kill the final AoD Gang Member. Once you've done it, drive with your Gang to the Clubhouse to pass the Mission. Once the Mission has been passed, do not save, immediately drive to Playboy X's Penthouse Parking Spot to see if your EC Black Gang Burrito is there. If it is then great, if not then you'll have to restart. You have to check the Vehicle taken from Missions after the Mission is passed, because if you don't do that and save then reload, then the Vehicle would have vanished.

1.2. EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus (1 of 5)
Mission: Clean and Serene (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is Brian's EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus found in a lot of Missions in TLaD, it has a EC Crimson Body Color along with a Gold Frame, thus why it's called Crimson and Gold. If you're doing a TLaD Starter Save, then you can get it easily along with the EC Black Gang Burrito. To obtain this EC Diabolus, start the Mission Clean and Serene by starting a New Game, then literally pass the Mission like normal. Just pass it, and once the Mission is passed, you will see this EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus sitting in the Parking Spot at the Lost MC Clubhouse. However, Johnny's EC Hexer and Billy's Revenant will also be parked at the Parking Spot. You must remove these other Bikes before you save the Game or it's very possible that the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus will vanish after reloading the Game since only two Vehicles can be parking at each Parking Sppace in the Game. Three or more will make one or more of the Vehicles disappear when you reload the Game, so make absolutely sure that the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus is the only one left in the Parking Spot before saving the Game. Billy's Revenant is not EC in any way though. If you're doing a Starter Save, I suggest getting this one. If not, get the one from It's War, as you can get it with pass there, or any other Chance where you can obtain this EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus.

1.3. EC Magenta Diabolus (2 of 2)
Mission: Angels in America (Fail)
How to Obtain: This is Jason's EC Magenta Diabolus and your final opportunity to obtain it. In both Missions that is appears in, it requires a Mission Failure, however the first one from Clean and Serene requires a Suicide too on some Versions. As explained before, I suggest that you obtain this one from Angels in America to avoid complications and a Suicide for this Bike. This Diabolus has a Special Bright Magenta/Purple Body Color with a Dark Blue Frame on it, it also has a Red Set Luster which makes the Bike look incredibly awesome. To obtain it, start the Mission Angels in America and as soon as you take control of Johnny, use his Sawn Off Shotgun to shoot and kill Jason off from his EC Magenta Diabolus. The Mission will fail since Jason was killed and the EC Magenta Diabolus will be left there on the Ground. Just take it and drive it to a Parking Spot to store it.

1.4. EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus (2 of 5)
Mission: It's War (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is Brian's EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus found in a lot of Missions in TLaD, it has a EC Crimson Body Color along with a Gold Frame, thus why it's called Crimson and Gold. From the many opportunities that you can obtain it from, I suggest that you obtain it from either It's War or from Clean and Serene, as then you can obtain this EC Diabolus with a Mission Pass, other times you can get it with a Failure only. If you didn't obtain it in a Starter Save from Clean and Serene, then you can obtain it from It's War, which is surely the best time to obtain it. To get the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus from It's War, start the Mission and follow the Crew to the two Angels of Death Hideouts/Locations and kill them as instructed. After killing all the Angels of Death, you'll get a Message saying to return to the Hexer. However, don't do that, instead run towards Brian's EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus and get onto it. Once Johnny is sitting on Brian's EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus, drive it next to where your Hexer is and a Cutscene will play and the Mission will be passed shortly after. Johnny will not be sitting on the EC Diabolus after the Cutscene, but the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus will be left where you drove it next to the Hexer before the Cutscene. At this point, get onto the Diabolus and take it back to a Parking Spot and store it. If you're wondering, the Gang Burritos used in this Mission are normal and not EC, thus no need to get those.

1.5. EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus (3 of 5)
Mission: Action/Reaction (Fail)
How to Obtain: This is Brian's EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus found in a lot of Missions in TLaD, it has a EC Crimson Body Color along with a Gold Frame, thus why it's called Crimson and Gold. This is also your third chance to obtain it, though it requires a Mission Failure unlike the last two opportunities to obtain this Special Bike. I suggest getting it from It's War or from Clean and Serene to avoid unnecessary Failures, though if you really want to get this one from Action/Reaction with a Failure, you can do it then. There are reports that this EC Diabolus from this Action/Reaction doesn't always work depending on which Platform or Version you are play on. Sometimes after the Mission is failed, you will be left where the Mission is failed, but other times, you are teleported back to the Lost MC Clubhouse thus making this EC Diabolus in this Mission unobtainable. But like already said, it's much better to get the one from either Clean and Serene or It's War. Your choice. To get this one however, start the Mission Action/Reaction and as soon as you take control of Johnny, just shoot and kill Brian off the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus and take it back to a Safehouse Parking Spot to store it. Still pretty easy to obtain. Make note that if you kill Brian too quickly, you might enter Billy's Mission Marker again and start the Mission again, thus losing the EC Diabolus from starting the Mission again and getting another unneeded Mission Attempt. Avoid doing that by carefully not going into the Mission Marker after you kill Brian.

1.6. EC Black Gang Burrito (2 of 3)
Mission: Action/Reaction (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is more of a Rare Vehicle than a Special Vehicle, since the Gang Burrito, even with the same Full EC Black Body Color, can be found during Gang Wars. If you don't want to search it in Gang Wars, you can easily get it from this Mission or from Clean and Serene. Though, on some Versions or Platforms of TLaD, the Gang Burrito seems to be missing or is very, very Rare during Gang Wars, making it an actually Unique Vehicle. Though, it's still unknown if it is Unique or not on those Versions. The reports were from The Greatest Hits PS3 Version of TLaD. As you haven't unlocked Gang Wars at this stage of the Game yet, you should obtain it from Action/Reaction with Mission Pass just so you can have it, as then you wouldn't know for sure if this EC Black Gang Burrito spawns during the Gang Wars on your Version or doesn't spawn. To obtain it, start the Mission Action/Reaction and simply pass it just with some minor Rules, so follow Billy and race the Lost MC to the AoD Clubhouse, then shoot the Grenade Launcher on the Window as instructed. You will see three EC Black Gang Burritos in the Area which will all be Locked and Unjackable. In the Shootout Part of the Mission, a Normal non-EC Gang Burrito will arrive, which won't be Locked. Shoot the AoD Bikers and kill them all outside, when they're all dead, get in the Normal Gang Burrito and drive it in front of the EC Black Gang Burrito right in front of the Angels of Death Clubhouse on the Road. After that, get in the Clubhouse with Billy and kill all the AoD's inside. After the Cutscene, get on your Hexer and drive away so the Mission gets passed, and then immediately go back to see the two Gang Burritos on the Road. Get in the Normal Gang Burrito and use it to push the EC Black Gang Burrito to the nearest Safehouse Parking Spot, which will be Playboy X's Penthouse. Pushing it won't be hard and it's a short push anyways, so it won't be a huge problem. When it's pushed to the Safehouse Parking Spot and parked there, it'll be stored there, though I suggest to drive around the Block and come back to assure that it's saved in the Parking Spot. If you do that, the Doors will be unlocked.

1.7. Unique Yankee (Redesign)
Mission: Liberty City Choppers (Fail)
How to Obtain: This Yankee has a Unique Model to it and you won't find any other Yankee in TLaD which is like it. This Wooden Crate Back Model Yankee is a Unique Vehicle and a different Vehicle from the normal other Yankees, you can call it a different Unique Variation if you want, but it's a complete different Unique Vehicle, which makes this Vehicle great for your Collection. It's actually called a Yankee2 in the Game Files. It's Black in Color and also has a Light Blue Stripe along the Side of the Cab, though the Colors are not EC for it. It also needs a Mission Failure to be obtained, though. To obtain this Unique Yankee (Redesign), start the Mission Liberty City Choppers and drive your Hexer with Jim to the Location where you will find this Unique Yankee (Redesign). When you arrive, simple shoot and kill Jim to fail the Mission and then get into the Unique Yankee (Redesign) and drive it to a Parking Spot to store it. Very simple.

1.8. EC Black Lycan
Mission: Bad Cop Drop (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is a new Discovery in TLaD, it's a EC Lycan with a Black Body Color on it with a Silver Luster on it. There are reports that it can be found during Gang Wars like that, though this still has to be checked and confirmed. To obtain it, start the Mission Bad Cop Drop and drive to Jim to the Clubhouse, then lure the Bent Cops Ed McCornish and Jimmy Matthews to the Location as instructed. At the Location, you will find two EC Black Lycans parked there. Now, kill all of the FIB Bent Cops as instructed, and once everyone is dead, quickly get onto one of the EC Black Lycans and drive away to pass the Mission. Make sure that the Bikers around the Area don't get in the EC Black Lycan before you do after the Cops are dead. After the Mission is passed, store your EC Black Lycan at a Parking Spot to store it. Simple Vehicle to obtain.

1.9. EC/Lustered Black Schafter with EC Black Rims
Mission: Politics (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is the first Lustered Vehicle in TLaD and a Special Vehicle we've seen a lot in IV. This is a Civilian Schafter with a Random Luster applied to it and it has EC Black Rims. It has a Black Body Color which is only found on Russian Schafters in TLaD, thus the Black Body Color is EC on Civilian Schafters, thus why it's EC/Lustered. Because it's Randomly Lustered and EC, all Lusters would be Special on it, though some Lusters are more Special than others. The less Special Lusters would be Black Poly, I suggest avoiding it as then the Schafter would be less Special, I suggest getting any nice looking Colorful Luster on it, for example a Cabernet Red Poly Luster which makes the Schafter look incredibly nice. The Black Poly Luster spawns on Black Russian Schafters from Traffic in TLaD, but it's unknown if this Luster can even spawn on this EC/Lustered Schafter with EC Rims. You may see some Schafters during Gang Wars, but none of them are Randomly Lustered, there is a EC Black Schafter with EC Black Rims in Gang Wars though, but its Luster is Unique and Set and can't be found in Traffic, thus it can't be duplicated on this Lustered one from Politics. Also, the Rims are surely EC Black as no Schafter in Traffic has Black Rims, some have Very White Rims and some have Black Poly Rims. Also, just to mention it, the Silver Grills are not Special on this Schafter as it's a Civilian Schafter and Civilian ones always have Silver Grills. To obtain the EC/Lustered Black Schafter with EC Black Rims, start the Mission Politics and head to the Francis International Airport, when you arrive you will see three EC/Lustered Black Schafters with EC Black Rims parked with Agents inside of them to the left of the Maverick that is landing shortly on the Helipad. Simply shoot and kill the Target exiting the Maverick Helicopter and then jack one of the three Schafters after killing the Agents inside. Leave the Airport once you get into one of the Schafters and lose your 4 Star Wanted Level to pass the Mission. After the Mission is passed, drive it back to a Parking Spot and store it. This seems to be one of the few Special Vehicles in TLaD which have a Random Luster on them, which makes it rather nice to obtain for your Collection.

2.0. Unique Prison Bus (1 of 2)
Mission: Off Route (Fail + Phone Replay)
How to Obtain: This entry will be an explanation on how to get both the Unique Prison Bus and EC Sky Blue Rhapsody at the same time while failing the Mission only once. This Prison Bus is a Unique Vehicle in TLaD and only found in two Missions. If you're a serious collector, you should wait to get the Unique Prison Bus in Get Lost together with the Unique/Lustered Black Laundromat at the same time and pass the Mission. That way, you avoid having to fail Off Route to obtain this particular Unique Prison Bus and won't get an extra Mission Failure/Attempt in the Stats as well as a Replay used in the Stats. If you want to get this one from this Mission, start the Mission Off Route. After the Cutscene you will notice the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody parked across the Street, go to it and take it back to any Parking Spot. Once you take the EC Rhapsody back to a Parking Spot, proceed to the Police Station where the Mission is instructing you to go. When you get there, do the usual and steal the Unique Prison Bus. Once you steal it, you will have a 3 Star Wanted Level, simple lose it. Once you've lost the Cops, the Game will instruct you to go drop off the Inmates to a Location in Actor Industrial Park, however, don't do this and drive the Unique Prison Bus to a Parking Spot. Preferably one that doesn't already have a Vehicle parked there. Park the Unique Prison Bus in the Parking Spot and try and blow it up with an RPG but without it moving out of the Parking Spot. This can be rather luck based and may take a few tries, but just be patient. As soon as the Prison Bus explodes and you receive a Text Message on the Phone to retry the Mission, do so immediately! This is crucial for this to work. The Text Message is the Mission Replay after you fail the Mission. If you don't retry the Mission immediately, then the Prison Bus will vanish every single time. Trying to obtain it without using a Replay of the Mission, but after about two or three seconds after the Mission has failed, it would disappear. Retrying the Mission immediately will teleport you away from the Parking Spot you blew the Unique Prison Bus up at, thus allowing it to be restored right away. At this point when you select to retry the Mission, you will be put directly in front of the Police Station and at the part again where you steal the Prison Bus. Go through the Mission like you normally would until you pass it and after passing the Mission, confirm both the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody is still in the Parking Spot where you parked it earlier. After that, confirm the Unique Prison Bus is restored and still at the Parking Spot you blew it up in. If you store a Special Vehicle taken from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the Game doesn't fully acknowledge the Special Vehicle is stored in the Parking Spot so if you would save the Game and then reload without checking on it, it would disappear. So be sure to confirm that it's still there before saving.

2.1. EC Sky Blue Rhapsody
Mission: Off Route (Pass)
How to Obtain: Check out 2.0. to know how to obtain the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody and the Unique Prison Bus while failing the Mission once. For this Entry, this will be an explanation how to get the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody alone with passing the Mission. For serious Collectory this is a better idea since another Unique Prison Bus comes up in the Final Mission of the Game and can be obtained while passing the Mission. If you want your Mission Failed/Attempts Stats to a Minimum, this is the better option, however getting it in that Mission is much more time consuming. This Rhapsody has a EC Sky Blue Body Color along with a EC Sky Blue Set Luster. To get the EC Sky Blue Rhapsody with Pass, start the Mission Off Route and as soon as the Cutscene ends, across the Street you will find this EC Sky Blue Rhapsody just sitting there. Simply get in it and store it at a Parking Spot to store it, then continue on with the Mission like normal and pass it with taking the Prison Bus and driving it to the Location. Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that it's still in the Parking Spot before moving on and saving the Game.

2.2. EC Black Diabolus
Mission: This Sh*t's Cursed (Fail)
How to Obtain: This is a rather weird Special Vehicle in TLaD. This is supposed to be Brian's Diabolus in Crimson Body Color and Gold Frame, but in the first Part of the Mission, it has a EC Black Body Color with a EC Silver Luster on it. It also has a EC Black Frame on it. It actually has the same Colors as Jim's Zombie which is not EC. To obtain it, start the Mission This Sh*t's Cursed and as soon as the Cutscene ends or is skipped and you take control of Johnny, simple shoot and kill Brian to fail the Mission. Take the EC Black Diabolus he was riding back to a Parking Spot and store it. Make note that after killing Brian, sometimes his EC Diabolus will land right next to the Yellow Marker to start the Mission again. Try not to start the Mission again before storing the EC Black Diabolus or it will vanish. Try to wait a bit and then kill Brian and not kill him right at the Lost MC Clubhouse at the Yellow Marker where the Mission would start again.

2.3. EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus (4 of 5)
Mission: This Sh*t's Cursed (Fail)
How to Obtain: This is Brian's EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus found in a lot of Missions in TLaD, it has a EC Crimson Body Color along with a Gold Frame, thus why it's called Crimson and Gold. This is also your fourth chance to obtain it, though it requires a Mission Failure unlike the first two opportunities to obtain this Special Bike. As already said, I suggest getting the other ones from It's War or Clean and Serene, as there you can get the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus with Pass to avoid an unnecessary Mission Failure. To get this one, start the Mission This Sh*t's Cursed and go through the Mission like normal by driving to Chinatown and killing all the Triads. Once all Triads are dead, you will be instructed to return to your Hexer, now run to Brian's Location and simply shoot and kill him and the Mission will fail. At this time, get onto the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus and drive it back to a Parking Spot to store it. Simple, but like already mentioned, it's better to get it from Missions where you don't need to fail the Mission to obtain it.

2.4. Unique Laundromat
Mission: End of Chapter (Pass)
How to Obtain: This one is a bit of a useless and inferior Special Vehicle as you can get a Unique/Lustered Black Laundromat in the Final Mission with Pass, this one from End of Chapter is just Unique and is not Lustered. If you really want this Unique Laundromat, start the Mission End of Chapter and then drive to the Docks to meet Brian. After the Cutscene, a Shootout will take place and eventually Backup will arrive. The Vans that the Backup of the Brian's Biker Gang Members/Goons come in are the Unique Laundromats. Take out all the Goons assuring that you don't blow up all of the Laundromats in the process. After killing everyone, a Cutscene will take place while Brian and his Goons try and escape. If you didn't blow up all of the Laundromats, one or more will still be where you saw them before the Cutscene. Just get into the Laundromat and use it to drive where Brian and the Goons have gone and then kill all the Goons. Once you kill all the Biker Goons fleeing on Bikes, you will get the Message saying go to Jim. Instead of going back to Jim, however, drive the Unique Laundromat back to a Parking Spot to store it. After parking it, go back to Jim and another Cutscene will take place and the Mission will be passed and Johnny will be teleported back to the Clubhouse. Now go confirm the Unique Laundromat is still in the Parking Spot before moving on and saving the Game. Make note that if you are driving a Laundromat yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the Road despite this being a Unique Vehicle. It's still Unique as it's not possible to get it in any way possible after you beat the Game. Like already mentioned, I highly suggest getting the other second Laundromat from Get Lost with Pass instead of this one, as the one from Get Lost is Lustered Black.

2.5. Beige Diabolus with EC Light Brown Frame
Mission: Bad Standing (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is a Beige Body Colored Diabolus with a EC Light Brown Frame, the Body Color is not Special and can be found in Traffic, but the Light Brown Frame makes the Diabolus Special. The normal Traffic Light Brown Diabolus has a Dark Red Color on the Frame. It also has a Special EC Black Luster on it, though it's not very visible like any Black Luster. The Normal Traffic Beige Diabolus has a Dark Red Color on the Frame. To obtain this Diabolus with EC Frame, start the Mission Bad Standing and go to Brian's Safehouse as instructed. Get in his Safehouse and take out the Enemies protecting Brian. Once you get to Brian, execute or spare him to pass the Mission. I suggest sparing him so you can get an extra Random Encounter Side Mission from him later on, but it's your Choice. Once the Mission is passed, go outside at the back of the House and you'll see this Diabolus with EC Light Brown Frame there. Simply get on it and park it at a Parking Spot to store it. If you choose to do the Method of throwing a Grenade in the Window to lure Brian out, he will be driving it while escaping, thus just kill him while he's on the Bike to pass the Mission, then take the Beige Diabolus with EC Light Brown Frame to a Parking Spot and store it.

2.6. Black Presidente with EC Black Rims
Mission: Heavy Toll (Fail)
How to Obtain: This Black Presidente with EC Black Rims is Black in Body Color, but the Body Color isn't Special. What makes it Special are the EC Black Rims, Traffic Presidentes have Black Poly/Dark Grey or Silver Rims, no Traffic Presidente has Black Rims like this one. It also has no Luster, meaning the Luster is Black, though the Luster is not Special. To obtain it, start the Mission Heavy Toll at Elizabeta's and you'll be sitting in this Black Presidente with EC Black Rims, simple park it at Niko's South Bohan Parking Spot nearby and then kill Malc and his Biker Gang to fail the Mission. A Failure Cutscene will appear and after the Cutscene, simply walk back to the Parking Spot to confirm the Black Presidente with EC Black Rims is still there before moving on and saving the Game. Make note that you can't obtain this Presidente with Pass in any way, I tried countless Methods but it always vanishes from the Parking Spot after passing the Mission, thus you can only obtain it with Failure.

2.7. Unique/EC Red and Black Regina
Mission: Heavy Toll (Pass)
How to Obtain: During Heavy Toll, you will find three Unique Reginas, two of them having EC Color Combinations. One Regina is the Unique/EC Red and Black Regina. The Black Colored Roof is not EC alone as there is a Black Regina from Traffic with a Black Roof, and the Red Body Color is not EC alone as there are Reginas from Traffic which have a Red Body Color, but a Dark Grey Roof. What makes it Special is the Body Color and Roof Combination, thus it's EC. The exactly same Logic applies for the Unique/EC Pink and Black Regina. The third is a Black Regina with Black Roof, which is not EC and is only a Unique Regina. I suggest not getting the Black Regina from the Mission as it's not EC, but instead try to get both Unique/EC Reginas with Mission Pass. If you want, you can pass the Mission with all three Reginas at the same time, though it's your choice. The Reginas are awesome Special Vehicles to have in your Collection, despite them being a Beater Kind of Vehicle, they're still Unique and One Time Only. To obtain them, start the Mission Heavy Toll and drive to the Charge Island Tool Booth ad wait for the Convoy to arrive. When the Convoy arrives, shoot and kill as many Enemies as possible inside all the Reginas and the Slamvan assuring not to cause too much Damage to the Slamvan or one of the Reginas. Also, very importantly, try to not have any Dead Bodies in the Reginas that you want to obtain. If you kill an Enemy while they're inside the Regina, then you'll need to get into it after killing all the Enemies. Then, you'll need to drive around the Area where the Slamvan is nearby and do E-Brakes so get all the Dead Bodies out of the Regina. If you save a Vehicle with Dead Bodies in the Parking Spot, then the Spot won't acknowledge it and won't save it. Make sure to not leave the Area where the Slamvan is, since then you'll fail the Mission for abandoning the Slamvan. Also, make sure not to get a Wanted Level, if you get it, lose it by getting out of the Cop Circle Radius, making sure that you don't abandon the Slamvan. After taking everyone out, get into the Slamvan and use it to push the Unique/EC Regina, the Unique/EC Regina and the Unique Regina across the Bridge to Niko's South Bohan Parking Spot. You may or may not want to get the Unique Black Regina, though it's your choice. I suggest only getting the two EC ones. Once the Reginas are at the Parking Spot, just drive the Slamvan to the Lockup to pass the Mission. If you want all three Reginas, you can in fact store three Vehicles on the Parking Spot and they'll be there once you come back. Though, if you save and reload while having three of more Vehicles on the Parking Spot, all but two will vanish. You can safely get all three Reginas onto the Parking Spot Zone and then go and pass the Mission. Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that both the Unique Reginas are still in the Parking Spot before moving on. If they are and you got three, get into one Regina and drive it to another Parking Spot on the Map, since two can be saved at Parking Spots when you save and reload the Game. Once you secure the third one somewhere around the Map, you're done with the quest. Make note that if you are driving a Regina yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the Road despite this being a Unique Vehicle. It's still Unique as it's not possible to get it in any way possible after you beat the Game.

2.8. Unique/EC Pink and Black Regina
Mission: Heavy Toll (Pass)
How to Obtain: Check 2.7. to know how to get the Unique/EC Red and Black Regina, Unique/EC Pink and Black Regina and Unique Regina all at once while passing the Mission Heavy Toll. This is the Pink and Black Variant, which is EC. Though, the Pink Body Color is not EC on alone and the Black Roof Color is not EC on alone, what makes it EC is the Body and Roof Color Combination. Since Pink Body Color Reginas are only found with a Dark Grey Roof, and Black Roofed Reginas can only be found on Black Body Color Reginas, thus why it's EC. I suggest not getting the Unique Black Regina as it's not EC and inferior compared to the Unique/EC Reginas.

2.9. Unique Regina
Mission: Heavy Toll (Pass)
How to Obtain: Check 2.7. to know how to get the Unique/EC Red and Black Regina, Unique/EC Pink and Black Regina and Unique Regina all at once while passing the Mission Heavy Toll. This is the Unique Black Regina which, unlike the last two, is not EC. I suggest not getting the Unique Black Regina as it's not EC and inferior compared to the Unique/EC Reginas, but it's your choice if you want to get it or not. The only reason why it's in the Guide is because you can obtain it along with the Unique/EC Reginas and because it's still a Special Vehicle to be documented.

3.0. Orange Double T Custom with EC Dark Grey Fender (1 of 3)
Mission: Shifting Weight (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is your first Chance to get Malc's Double T Custom, it has a Dark Grey, or how the Color is called in the Game Files, a Black Poly Fender. The Orange Body Color can always be found during Traffic, but these Traffic Orange Double T Custom's have a Black Fender. You can't find an Orange Double T Custom with a Dark Grey Fender anywhere else in the Game, which makes this Double T Custom Special and EC. To obtain the first one in the Game, start Elizabeta's Mission Shifting Weight and then follow Malc and DeSean to the Meeting. Now, simply do the Drive-By Part like how you normally would until you pass the Mission. Once you pass the Mission, you will see Malc and DeSean drive off and you'll see a Normal Traffic Default Double T Custom nearby. Simply get on the nearby Bike and quickly drive where Malc has driven to and you will see his Orange Double T Custom with EC Dark Grey Fender there, simply get on it and drive it to a Safehouse Parking Spot to store it there.

3.1. EC2 Hakuchou Custom (1 of 2)
Mission: Shifting Weight (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is DeSean's Bike and is the king of pointless Special Vehicles in the HD Era, it's a Hakuchou with an Invisible and Unused Quadrary Color. It would be called EC4 where EC4 means Invisible Quadrary Unused Color, but the Special Color on it is not Visible thus why it's called EC2. EC2 refers to Vehicles with Invisible Special Colors on them. Secondly, the Hakuchou Custom is a Three-Colored Vehicle in the Game Code, thus the Color 4 is not used at all. The White Body Color and Black Poly Luster are the same as the Normal Hakuchou Customs in Traffic, it's only the Invisible and Unused Color 4 which is different. The Color 4 on this EC2 Hakuchou Custom is White, while the normal Hakuchou Custom has a Black Color 4. It's really not worth obtaining, but if you really want to obtain it, start Elizabeta's Mission Shifting Weight and then follow Malc and DeSean to the Meeting. Now, simply do the Drive-By Part like how you normally would until you pass the Mission. Once you pass the Mission, you will see Malc and DeSean drive off and you'll see a Normal Traffic Default Double T Custom nearby. Simply get on the nearby Bike and quickly drive where DeSean has driven to and you will see him driving the EC2 Hakuchou Custom. Shoot and kill DeSean off his Hakuchou Custom, claim it and store it at a Parking Spot. Again, it's not worth obtaining at all as it has Invisible Special Properties that can't be tested in-game.

3.2. Unique Roman's Taxi
Mission: Roman's Holiday (Fail)
How to Obtain: This is the classic Roman's Taxi from IV, but in TLaD it's not EC, only Unique. It's basically just a renamed Esperanto, but still a very Unique Vehicle. To obtain it, start the Mission Roman's Holidays at Ashley's House and then go meet up with Malc as instructed. After the Cutscene, you will be inside a Presidente and will be instructed to go to the Gambling Den in Schottler. At this time, get your Phone and call Roman's Cab Depot at 555-2222 to lure Roman to come pick up Johnny and Malc up. When he arrives in the Unique Roman's Taxi, walk up to it and a Cutscene will take place. After the Cutscene, immediately get out of Roman's Taxi and shoot and kill Malc to fail the Mission. After the Mission fails, take the Unique Roman's Taxi back to a Parking Spot to store it. Make sure all Dead Bodies are out of the Vehicle before storing it, since the Vehicle will vanish if there are Dead Bodies still inside it, simply do E-Brakes to make them fall out of the Vehicle. Make note that you need to fail the Mission to obtain it, because when you use it to pass the Mission, it will speed off and disappear after the Mission is passed, thus you absolutely need to fail it. Also, calling Roman is a quicker way to pass the Mission than by going to the Gambling Den to kidnap Roman.

3.3. Orange Double T Custom with EC Dark Grey Fender (2 of 3)
Mission: Roman's Holiday (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is your second Chance to get Malc's Double T Custom, it has a Dark Grey, or how the Color is called in the Game Files, a Black Poly Fender. The Orange Body Color can always be found during Traffic, but these Orange Double T Custom's have a Black Fender. You can't find an Orange Double T Custom with a Dark Grey Fender anywhere else in the Game, which makes this Double T Custom Special and EC. It's better to get the EC Double T Custom from Shifting Weight or from Malc's First Random Encounter as this one from Roman's Holiday is a bit more time consuming to obtain with passing the Mission. If you want to get it from this Mission, start Roman's Holiday and go meet up with Malc as instructed. After the Cutscene you will be sitting in Malc's Presidente, turn your Camera to the left and you'll see Malc's EC Double T Custom parked there. Now, either double drive the Presidente and Double T Custom or push the Bike with your Presidente to a Parking Spot. Double driving means to get out of the Presidente, run to the Double T Custom and drive it a bit up the Road, then get off from it and run towards the Car, then get in it and drive it a bit ahead the Bike, repeat the process until you're at a Parking Spot. When you're there, park the Orange Double T Custom with EC Dark Grey Fender on the Parking Spot and then get back in the Presidente. Now, simply kidnap Roman to pass the Mission as usual. Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that it's still in the Parking Spot before moving on and saving the Game.

3.4. Grey Zombie with EC Black Rims
Mission: Collector's Item (Fail)
How to Obtain: This Zombie is an ordinary Grey Zombie with Special EC Black Rimmed Tires, all other Zombies have White Rims and the Lost Zombies have Red Rims, thus making this Zombie extra Special because of to the Black Rims. It also needs a Mission Failure. To obtain this Grey Zombie with EC Black Rims, start the Mission Collector's Item with Ray's Phone Call and go through the Mission like normal until you reach the end where you are instructed to go to Jim and give him the Money after escaping the Museum and killing off Ray's Henchmen. The Grey Zombie with EC Black Rims will be sitting there right next to Jim and a Lost MC Member, simply approach the Bikes without activating the Ending Cutscene and shoot at them to fail the Mission. Once the Mission is failed, just get onto the Zombie with EC Rims and store it at a Parking Spot. Simple.

3.5. EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill
Mission: Collector's Item (Pass)
How to Obtain: This will be an explanation on how to get both the EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill and the Black Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill with passing the Mission at the same time. Make note that the White one is EC, while the Black one is not EC. Both of them have a Hybrid Grill which can't be found anywhere else, meaning it has both the Normal PMP 600 Grill and the Mafia PMP 600 Grill at the same time on the Vehicle. Though, make note that the EC White one doesn't have a EC Body Color, it's EC due to the White Body Color and Black Luster Color Combination on it. To get them, start the Mission Collector's Item and head to the Museum. When you arrive, you will see some of these Black and EC White Mafia PMP 600s with a Hybrid Grill scattered around the Libertonian Museum. Before going into the Yellow Marker, simply jack a Black or EC White PMP 600 and drive it back to a Parking Spot to store it and then come back and jack a Black or EC White PMP 600 and drive it back to a Parking Spot to store it. Once both PMP 600s are in the Parking Spot, go back to the Museum and do the rest like normal until the Mission is passed. Once the Mission is passed after getting the Money back to Jim, go confirm that both of the PMP 600s are still in the Parking Spot before moving on and saving the Game. Alternatively, you can park either the Black or EC White PMP 600 in a Parking Spot and then return to the Museum and do the Mission like normal by fighting your way out of the Museum. When you get out and are chasing more of Ray's Henchmen, simply take the Black or EC White PMP 600 that isn't stored at the Parking Spot yet and finish the Mission while driving it. Make note that sometimes Ray's Henchmen will be scripted to take a certain Black or EC White PMP 600 during the Chase at the end of the Mission. If this is the case with one or both PMP 600s you took back to a Parking Spot, they will disappear after the Mission is over. It may take some persistence to get both of these PMP 600s at the same time while passing the Mission.

3.6. Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill
Mission: Collector's Item (Pass)
How to Obtain: Check out 3.5. of the Guide to know how to get both the EC White Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill and Black Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill at the same time while passing the Mission. It's the same exact Method to get it. Make note that the White Mafia PMP 600 is truly EC, while this Black one is not EC. Both PMP 600s are Special because they have a Hybrid Grill, meaning they both have the Normal PMP 600 Grill and the Mafia PMP 600 Grill at the same time.

3.7. Unique/Lustered Black Laundromat

Mission: Get Lost (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is an explanation on how to obtain both the Unique/Lustered Black Laundromat and the Unique Prison Bus at the same time while passing Get Lost. This task is one of the hardest and most time consuming task in all of TLaD. However, if you have patience, it shouldn't be that bad. Both Vehicles are Unique, but the Laundromat is Black in Body Color which isn't Special and has a Random Luster on it every time you start the Mission. Some Lusters won't be Special on it as it's not a EC Vehicle, the Luster which isn't Special is the Black Poly Luster. Though, if you want to get a nice looking and colorful Luster, then you'd avoid the Black Poly Luster which isn't Special anyways. I suggest getting any Colorful Luster, for example a Blue or Red Luster, on this Laundromat. To get the Luster you want, you will need to keep reloading the Game until the Luster you're looking for gets chosen to spawn on the Laundromat. For years, there was a much more luck based Method in order to obtain these two Special Vehicles from Get Lost, but there is a much better Method of which I will be explaining. Start the Final Mission of TLaD, Get Lost, and head to the Prison as instructed. When you enter the Prison by blowing up the Prison Doors, you will see both the Laundromat and Prison Bus sitting there, however, Guards will sometimes use them as cover and they can take a lot of gunfire and become weaker. Try to keep them in tact as best you can since you'll be pushing both the Laundromat and Prison Bus back to Brian's Safehouse Parking Spot later on. Make your way through the Prison until you confront Billy and kill him. On the way out, however, stop and park your Hexer inside the Prison in the lot where the Laundromat and Prison Bus are sitting in. At this time, go on foot to the southern end of Latchkey Ave and call 911 and request a Fire Truck. The Fire Truck should come and spawn at the northern end of the Road coming toward you. Jack the Fire Truck and use it to carefully push both the Unique/Lustered Laundromat and Unique Prison Bus out into the street. What you'll have to do from this point forward is have good Camera Control and keep the Camera on the Fire Truck, Laundromat, and Prison Bus at all times while double driving the Hexer along with the Fire Truck pushing both Special Vehicles all the way back to Brian's Safehouse Parking Spot. This will take you a long time, so be patient. Also, make sure you push with the back of the Fire Truck against the Laundromat and Prison Bus on the way back to Brian's Safehouse. You don't want to risk a Wanted Level which can be obtained by pushing both of these Vehicles violently and with the front of the Fire Truck. Also be careful of Terry and Clay. It's possible to fail the Mission due to Terry or Clay wrecking their Bike on the way back to Brian's Safehouse apparently because it's possible to run into them too hard or too many times. They like to get in the way of the Fire Truck when pushing the Vehicles back to Brian's Safehouse. If any of the Vehicles catch Fire on the way back, you can put the Fire out with the Fire Truck itself, but don't get any Cops see you do that, either, or you will get a Wanted Level. Double driving the Hexer along with the Fire Truck pushing both Special Vehicles means driving the Hexer up the Road a bit while keeping the Camera on the Fire Truck and both Special Vehicles, then park the Hexer and run on foot back to the Fire Truck and continue pushing the Special Vehicles up to where your Hexer was parked. Continue to do this task of double driving and Camera Control until you get back to Brian's Safehouse. When you arrive back to the Safehouse, push both the Unique/Lustered Black Laundromat into the Parking Spot as well as the Unique Prison Bus and ditch the Fire Truck. Brian's Safehouse Parking Spot will be just long enough to accommodate both Special Vehicles. The Prison Bus or Laundromat might slightly be on top of the Sidewalk, but that's fine and they will save without an issue. Then just drive the Hexer with the rest of the Gang back to the Clubhouse and pass the Mission like normal. Once the Mission is passed, go confirm that both the Laundromat and Prison Bus are still in the Parking Spot before moving on and saving the Game. You will be teleported to Brian's Safehouse anyways, so there's not a reason to actually confirm them. If you managed to pull this off, then congratulations! This is the hardest task you will face in TLaD. The Laundromat is one of the few Special Vehicles in TLaD that has a Random Luster, so it's a rather nice Special Vehicle for your Collection. Also make note that if you are driving a Laundromat yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the Road despite this being a Unique Vehicle. It's still Unique as you can't get this Vehicle in Traffic in any way possible but to drive it yourself.

3.8. Unique Prison Bus (2 of 2)
Mission: Get Lost (Pass)
How to Obtain: Check out 3.7. to know how to obtain both the Unique/Lustered Black Laundromat and the Unique Prison Bus while passing the Mission Get Lost at the same time. It's the hardest task to do in TLaD, so good luck. It's best to get this Unique Prison Bus from Get Lost as you can get it and pass the Mission, unlike in Off Route where you need to fail the Mission and use a Replay just to obtain it. So if you want a Unique Prison Bus and if you care about Stats, get this one from Get Lost.

3.9. EC Crimson and Yellow Diabolus (5 of 5)
Mission: Brian Jeremy Random Encounter
How to Obtain: This Random Encounter is only available if you spare Brian during the Mission Bad Standing. If you killed him during the Mission, then this EC Crimson and Yellow Diabolus won't be obtainable for the fifth time in the Game. His EC Diabolus has a Deep Crimson Body Color and has a Gold Frame. Also, this Random Encounter is not required for 100% Completion. To get this one, locate Brian's Random Encounter but don't get close enough to trigger it. Aim a Gun in the direction of Brian and shoot which will cancel the Mission. Brian will run off leaving the EC Crimson and Gold Diabolus behind. Simple get onto it and drive it back to a Parking Spot to store it. If you spare Brian and don't do his Random Encounter, then this EC Diabolus would be a Rare Special Vehicle and not Special, as then it would always be available there for you to take after 100% Completion. What I suggest is to obtain this EC Diabolus and then to pass his Random Encounter, to ensure that the Diabolus will be Special and not Rare. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD whether passed of failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.0. Lustered/EC2 Bright Red Turismo
Mission: Dave Grossman Random Encounter (Fail, doesn't effect Stats)
How to Obtain: This is a Lustered Bright Red Turismo which means it as a Bright Red Body Color which isn't Special, but it has a Random Luster on it which can make the Turismo Special. It also is EC2, meaning that the Secondary Color is Invisible but Special, which is actually Black. Because it's Randomly Lustered, it sometimes won't have a Special Luster at all. The Luster which won't be Special is the Taxi Yellow Luster. There is a Bright Red Turismo with a Yellow Luster in Traffic. So, very, very importantly, obtain this Lustered/EC2 Bright Red Turismo when it doesn't have a Yellow Luster. You will usually see either a White-ish or Yellow Luster on it. The White-ish Lusters will make this Vehicle Special, while the Yellow Luster will make it useless. The White-looking Luster is actually either a Red or a Gray or any kind of Silver Luster, but in Game you will see a White Colored Luster. The non-Special Yellow Luster is Taxi Yellow, but like already said, do not obtain it with the Yellow Luster as it won't be Special if you do it. If you get the Taxi Yellow Luster on it, then it'd be a EC2 Turismo only, which is useless as EC2 means Invisible Color which can't be seen in-game. To obtain it, start the Random Encounter Mission for Dave Grossman and get in a Car. Now, drive to where the Lawyer is who will be driving this Lustered/EC2 Bright Red Turismo and simply follow him back to his House in Alderney. When you get up to him, look at the Luster that this Turismo has, if it's Yellow, reload the Game and try again, if it's not Yellow then you can obtain it as it's a Special Vehicle. Just simply tail him all the way back to his House in Alderney and eventually the Random Encounter will fail when the Lawyer pulls into his Driveway in Alderney. After the Random Encounter fails, you will see his Lustered/EC2 Bright Red Turismo still sitting in the Driveway. Jack a Random Vehicle from Traffic or call 911 and request a Fire Truck or Ambulance and use it to push the Lustered/EC2 Turismo all the way back to Niko's Alderney Parking Spot. The Turismo is very light, so pushing it won't be an issue. Try not to push violently, though, or it may cause unwanted Attention from the Police and may also damage the Turismo too much before getting it back to the Alderney Parking Spot. Once you manage to push it back to the Alderney Parking Spot, simply drive away around the Block and when you return, the Turismo will be restored good as new and the Doors will now be unlocked. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.1. Orange Double T Custom with EC Dark Grey Fender (2 of 2)
Mission: Malc First Random Encounter
How to Obtain: This is your last and best Chance to get Malc's Double T Custom, it has a Dark Grey, or how the Color is called in the Game Files, a Black Poly Fender. The Orange Body Color can always be found during Traffic, but these Traffic Orange Double T Customs have a Black Fender. You can't find an Orange Double T Custom with a Dark Grey Fender anywhere else in the Game, which makes this Double T Custom Special and EC. To obtain it, locate Malc's First Random Encounter but don't trigger it by going to close. Simply shoot Malc before activating the Side Mission and he will run away. Now, simply get to the Orange Double T Custom with EC Dark Grey Fender and park it at a Parking Spot. Simple to obtain. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD whether passed of failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.2. EC Green and Yellow Bati 800
Mission: Malc First Random Encounter (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is a Special EC Green and Yellow Bati 800, the Body Color is Special on it and it also has a Set Yellow Luster on it. To obtain it, start Malc's First Random Encounter and you will be given this EC Bati 800 nearby. Simply get on it and follow Malc to DeSean, once you arrive by DeSean, follow him to some AoD Enemies and kill them. Once you've done it, the Random Encounter will be passed and you'll still be in possession of this EC Green and Yellow Bati 800. Just drive it back to a Parking Spot and store it. It looks pretty awesome in that Green and Yellow Body Color. At the end of the Side Mission, you will see Red Wolfsbanes and Blue Nightblades scattered around the Area, these Bikes are not Special and can always be found in Traffic around Northwood being driven by the Angels of Death. Previously they were thought to be EC, but they are not, eventhough their Color can't be found in Pay and Spray. To get this EC Green and Yellow Bati 800, you can simply start the Side Mission, get onto the Bike and drive away to fail the Side Mission. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.3. EC2 Hakuchou Custom (2 of 2)
Mission: Malc First Random Encounter (Pass)
It's really not worth obtaining, but if you really want to obtain it from the second Chance in TLaD, start the first Malc Random Encounter. Simply follow Malc to DeSean and then follow DeSean to kill the AoD Bikers nearby. Once all Bikers are killed, get onto your Bike and then follow DeSean, simply shoot and kill him off the Bike. Once he's dead, get onto the EC2 Hakuchou Custom and claim it, then drive it to a Safehouse Parking Spot and store it. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.4. EC Black Huntley Sport
Mission: Stubbs' Dirty Laundry - First Impressions (Pass)
How to Obtain: This EC Black Huntley Sport has a Normal Traffic Black Body Color, but it has no Luster, meaning the Luster is Black. Traffic Black Huntley Sports always come in a Brownish Luster, which makes this Huntley Sport EC Pitch Black. It's not called Lustered because the Luster is always set to be Black and the Luster is not Random. To obtain it, start the Side Mission First Impressions by calling Stubbs for a Job and make your way to the Cafe. When you arrive, you will see this EC Black Huntley Sport and a Normal Black Oracle outside of the Cafe parked to the side of the Road. Just jack the EC Black Huntley Sport and eventually the Enemies will leave the Cafe and start chasing you. Just kill the Enemies and the Mission will be passed. After the Mission Pass, you will be in possession of the EC Huntley Sport, now simply drive it back to a Parking Spot and store it. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.5. Unique/EC Orange and Black Infernus
Mission: Stubbs' Dirty Laundry - Knowing Me, Knowing You (Fail, doesn't effect Stats)
How to Obtain: This is Bryce's Infernus that is given to Niko in IV with the same Orange Colors with a Black Stripe and also the only time you'll see an Infernus in TLaD. It can spawn with or without a Spoiler, so just reload the Game until you get the Variation that you prefer. It has a EC Orange Body Color and a EC Black Stripe, along with a EC Yellow Luster on it. To obtain it, start the Side Mission Knowing Me, Knowing You by calling Stubbs for a Job and head to the Location of where you are instructed to steal the Infernus. Simply get inside the Unique/EC Infernus and ignore what you are instructed to do. Just drive it back to any Parking Spot and store it. Once it's secured in the Parking Spot, get another random Vehicle and just wait until the Timer runs out and the Mission fails. Once the Mission has failed, drive around the Block away from the Parking Spot and when you return, the Unique/EC Orange and Orange Infernus will be sitting there and the Doors will be unlocked. Also make note that if you are driving an Infernus yourself, or have recently driven one as your previously touched Vehicle, others may spawn on the Road despite this being a Unique Vehicle. It's still a Unique Vehicle as it can't spawn in any other way in TLaD. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.6. EC/Lustered Light Blue Habanero
Mission: Stubbs' Dirty Laundry - Phone Ho! (Pass, or Fail, doesn't effect Stats)
How to Obtain: This is a Light Blue Special Body Color Habanero with a Random Luster on it, even though the Luster can't be seen very good on it during Gameplay, it's still Randomly Lustered. Whatever Luster you get will be Special as it's a EC Vehicle. There are three Special Vehicles in Phone Ho!, so if you want all of them, I suggest getting the Habanero and Sentinel with Fail and the Cognoscenti with Pass. You can pass the Mission to get the Habanero, but it's not needed. It's also possible to get both the Habanero and Cognoscenti with Pass, but that's very time consuming and you need to fail the Mission for the Sentinel as you can't pass to get it anyways. Either way, failing a Side Mission doesn't effect your Stats. To get this EC/Lustered Light Blue Habanero, start the Side Mission Phone Ho! by calling Stubbs for a Job and head to the Vantage Point on the Roof. Moments after, the EC/Lustered Habanero will appear and pick up a Hooker. At this point, just jump off the Roof and run towards the EC/Lustered Habanero and jack it. Drive away to take it back to the Parking Spot to store it, while the Side Mission fails shortly after. When you've done it, you've obtained the EC/Lustered Light Blue Habanero. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.7. EC/Lustered White Sentinel with EC Black Rims
Mission: Stubbs' Dirty Laundry - Phone Ho! (Fail, doesn't effect Stats)
How to Obtain: This Sentinel has a Special Ice White Body Color and Special EC Pitch Black Rims and also has a Random Luster on it, even though the Luster can't be seen very good on it during Gameplay due to the White Body Color, it's still Randomly Lustered. Whatever Luster you get will be Special on it because the Vehicle is EC and has EC Rims. You may see a very similar Sentinel in Traffic, but when you compare them side by side, you will see that the EC/Lustered Sentinel with EC Rims has a Whiter Body Color and that it has much Darker Rims. Both Color Features on it are Special. To get this EC/Lustered White Sentinel with EC Black Rims, start the Side Mission Phone Ho! by calling Stubbs for a Job and head to the Vantage Point on the Roof. Moments after, the Habanero will appear and pick up a Hooker, just wait until it drives away so that the EC/Lustered Sentinel with EC Rims comes around the Corner. When it arrives, just jump off the Roof and run towards the EC/Lustered Sentinel with EC Rims and jack it. The Side Mission will immediately fail for spooking the Hookers. Now, drive away to take it back to the Parking Spot to store it. When you've done it, you've obtained the EC/Lustered White Sentinel with EC Black Rims. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.8. EC/Lustered Bright Red Cognoscenti
Mission: Stubbs' Dirty Laundry - Phone Ho! (Pass, or Fail, doesn't effect Stats)
How to Obtain: This Cognoscenti has a Special Bright Red Color and has a Random Luster applied on it. Whatever Luster you get will be Special because the Cognoscenti is EC. You can get only three different Lusters on the Cognoscenti anyways, one is Blue, another is Petrol Blue Green Poly, and the third one is Silver Stone Poly. The Silver Stone Poly Luster spawns 7 out of 9 times on this Cognoscenti, so when you obtain this EC/Lustered Cognoscenti, you'll most likely get that one. To get this EC/Lustered Bright Red Cognoscenti, start the Side Mission Phone Ho! by calling Stubbs for a Job and head to the Vantage Point on the Roof. You will first see the Habanero and Sentinel, and shortly after the EC/Lustered Bright Red Cognoscenti will come around bring driven by the Politician. When the Politician comes, take the Photo of him with your Phone and send it to Stubbs. As soon as the Photo is sent, the Mission will be passed and all you have to do is jump off the Roof and either kill the Politician and claim his EC/Lustered Cognoscenti or try and block his path and just jack it from him. Once you're in possession of the EC/Lustered Bright Red Cognoscenti, just drive it back to a parking space and store it. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

4.9. Dukes with Missing Hood Scoop
Mission: Stubbs' Dirty Laundry - Communication Breakdown (Pass)
How to Obtain: This is a Dukes which has a Missing Hood Scoop sometimes, which makes this Dukes Special. You can also call this a NE Dukes (No Extra), which means it has something missing from the Vehicle which makes it Special. To obtain this Dukes with Missing Hood Scoop, start the Side Mission Communication Breakdown by calling Stubbs for a Job and go to meet the contact. When you arrive, a Cutscene will take place and after the Cutscene, you will be standing right next to the Dukes with Missing Hood Scoop while the Contact drives away in it. As quickly as you can, just pull out a Gun and shoot and kill the Contact driving away and then claim his NE Dukes after the Mission is passed. Just drive it back to a Parking Spot to store it. Make note that the Missing Hood Scoop doesn't always appear during the Mission. If that is the case, you must reload until it spawns without it. Make note that Side Missions in TLaD, whether passed or failed, do not get added to any Mission Stats in the Pause Menu. So failing a Side Mission to obtain a Special Vehicle won't be counted against you in the Stats.

Well, like I first said...Sometime in July.  Well...It's July.  After I finish this one, I will work on GTA IV and then TBoGT.  We'll see if I got any steam left for GTA V once I finish off the IV Trilogy GTA's...

Luckily Bender. is helping record all these Vehicles.  It's good to see Videos going along with walls of text for better understanding...

Awesome!  You plan on recording the missing Vehicles, though?  You're jumping around I noticed.  Like, you got the Videos for 1.2. and 1.3., but not 1.0. or 1.1.

It's no rush, but don't forget!  I'd imagine those in ...Clean and Serene are very easy to get...

Nice!  It's nothing to worry about.  Afterall, it's been years these HD Era GTA's have been out, but no Videos are out there for them, so it's good they are coming to light now.  Similar to jam8tone's Channel...He's the only one out there who has a FULL Guide for LCS/VCS...Nobody has extensive Videos for those games like he does.  So I reckon when all is said and done, your Channel will be the one to go to for the HD Era Videos :D :p

I'll add it in shortly.  I will watch it first and also add another entry or two into the Guide, too.

EDIT: Added into the Guide.  Btw, the only 2 Missions Failures I have in my TLaD Save is from Off Route and Roman's Holiday.  But the next Save will only have 1, from Roman's Holiday, and I will pass Get Lost while obtaining the Unique Prison Bus and the Unique/EC Black Laundromat.

Thanks, however, that Schafter is already in the Guide...

I also think the same exact Schafter can be obtained during a Gang War with the Russians.  They drive them and it looks like they have a Silver Grill, Black Rims, and all Black Primary Color, just like the ones in Politics...

Alright, the Guide is finished.  If anyone sees any errors or notices anything that isn't right, let me know and I will fix it.  As I said since before starting this Guide, I didn't have much to go off of since most information pertaining to TLaD Special Vehicles is outdated, some information even not correct.  Furthermore, I only ever obtained a handful of Special Vehicles in TLaD, thus not having the knowledge of the entire database from my own personal experience.  Whereas, I've obtained every Vehicle that practically exists in III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS so writing those Guides were a lot easier since I was able to write from personal experience.

Actually, been waiting a while for this guide. Only thing is I still have LCS (almost done), VCS and IV to finish before I start on TLAD so this guide will be quite useful in the coming months. Good job finishing it.

Thanks, but it's reminding me a lot of CW Guide, which is another HD Era GTA and the Guide that not many people are looking into...These don't get any replies and people looking into anything in these Games.  There's gotta be a reason not many Videos are out there for such HD Era GTA Games.  Nobody seems to care for the HD Era and Special Vehicle Collecting.

I can see why that is, but I personally like writing up the Guides in general, since it refreshes my own knowledge about the Games.  Most Vehicles in the HD Era, I guess are boring and too easy to obtain.  Just like in this Guide, everything is a 1 or 2 star difficulty with the occasional 3 star....Then only 2 Vehicles which are a 5 star, found in the last Story Mission, Get Lost.  The only challenging task in the entire game is getting the Unique/EC Black Laundromat and Unique Prison Bus at the same time and passing the Mission.  Other than that, there isn't much else that is worthy of giving yourself a pat on the back for :D :p

I've been getting some of my Facts from HERE, however in this Guide, it makes no mention of that.  There is a Phantom driven by Russians, but it's said to be Black and not special.  You sure it's the Mafia and not Russians?  Each Gang has signature Vehicles, some special, some not during Gang Wars and I can't recall seeing any Phantoms driven by the Mafia, but the Russians.  Is the Green Luster special?  If you can confirm, I will add it into the Mafia Gang Vehicles Section...

Also, some of the things said in that Guide aren't accurate.  Like, a Double T Custom, Hakuchou Custom, Gang Burrito, Slamvan, etc aren't considered Unique Vehicles, but I don't see how they aren't Unique Vehicles...None spawn on the streets at all, and only can be found in Missions, Gang Wars, and Races...They do, however, spawn if you are driving them except for Gang Burritos and Slamvans, of course.

The Russians drive a black Stretch as a convoy target vehicle. The Mafia uses a Green Lustered Phantom.

It's during a Convoy Gang War with the Mafia?  Ok, I will put it into the Guide! :D :p

Thanks for contributing...

Btw, you should record all the HD Era Videos whenever you get your PC back up and working for recording, or whatever.  Your Channel can be like jam8tone's Channel is for LCS/VCS, but yours will be for the HD Era...It pisses me off how there is nothing out there at all for the HD Era besides a handful of Videos here and there but nothing extensive...

Yeah, when it comes to TLaD, I prefer the Unique Vehicles over everything else.  If there is room left, then I get some EC's :D :p  Since Vehicles aren't immune to anything in the HD Era except for IV and CW, I like the Unique Vehicles the most.

Btw, if you are interested in making Videos for the Guide, go for it.  I can add them in.  In the case of TLaD, since not many Videos are out there, I certainly will add in the Video.  Any Video is better than no Video at all.  When it came to my 3D Era GTA Guides, I put the best Videos in, despite Videos out there for the same exact Vehicle.  I picked the best.  But since TLaD has nothing, all Videos will be added....Whoever uploads them and posts them first, I will put them into the Guide...

My father are special vehicle collector too. He just play San Andreas and progress to get AP Infernus. Sadly he just not join in GTAForums. Oh yeah, My father say after he finish the San Andreas, he will ready to collect Special Vehicle on TLaD...
