the whole story was awsome but if i had to choose i would choose mexico. i loved the mexican revolution part. it reminded me of the american civil war. i definitaly sided with the rebels i just wish there was a confederate uniform for john to wear. i just hated working for the goverment. and which side betrayed you? the federales no wonder they started a rebellion. also poor luisa i feel bad for her.

I love every part of the story. But this scene close to the end of the game is definitely one of my favourites. Dutch's final words are amazing!

The beginning of the story taking place in New Austin was my favorite. I didn't like the characters and their stories that take place in Mexico, and as for West Elizabeth, it was my second favorite, but I have to say that this last part was depressing and the whole atmosphere tried to induce fear into the player like it's the end of times for John Marston. It was a very well-done part and full of emotions.

Going to Blackwater for the first time really blew my mind, I had no idea there was such a civilised town on the map (having forgotten it was shown during the opening cutscene). Then the mission while riding in the automobile talking about technology in the new century etc it was so well done. I never really explored areas of the map until the story took me there so going up into Tall Trees and the snowy mountains during those missions really blew my mind aswell, I wouldn't have thought the map was so vast with different environments.

Thinking about this makes me want RDR2 so bad. Damn it E3!

I really liked the Mexican portion. I don't know what it is, but West Elizabeth never set that well to me. I mean it was cool to see Blackwater and John reunite with his family however I didn't find it as engrossing as the earlier parts of the story.

Love the whole game, but there's something so charming and relaxing about the opening chapter, before heading down South. McFarlane Ranch is one of my favourite locations in any game and being there almost feels like a second home. The final chapter is the weakest and relies too heavily on big shootouts, losing a lot of the charm of the opening and the middle-section. And of course the final "character twist" kind of ruins everything. Which is why in my last playthrough I

I loved the entire game. Each district had their own vibes. I loved the plains and desert area of New Austin as they really gave the vibe each western movie has. But the Nuevo Paraíso deserts and "monument valley"/"grand canyon" areas in Mexico were also the parts I fell in love with.
West Elisabeth was unbelievably great as it featured the mountain range and forests. I loved how the entire game had different areas, yet felt so real.

Can't wait for the next part in the series, but I truly hope we will see the map of Red Dead Redemption connected to it. Would be a blast to ride with my friends in Online from Nosalida in the South West, to the Van Horn Tradingpost in the North East of the new map.

If that's the Map, I'd hope they join the two Railway Systems together.

Would be really epic, not sure they would do that though. But I personally would love it. Especially for Online.

I'd like to make robbing banks harder if anything.

RDR is one of my all time favourite games played for hours on the PS3 besides 'The Last Of US' and I would have loved to play RDR on PC.

Perhaps the Source Image was illegible in that Section?

I dunno.

Not Mexico.

I thought it was fairly underdone and tedious.

Mexico was by far the weakest part. Basically every character is annoying apart from Landon Ricketts and its just very dragged out. Just seemed like a unnecessary long detour

West Elizabeth is definitely the best. Dutch is more interesting than Bill or Javier, every mission counts there is no filler  + its also very emotional etc.

@Fuzzknuckles. The Mexico part is the one that relied too much on big shootouts. The final part has less of them..

New Austin, because it felt the most like a typical Western. I loved everything about Armadillo, especially the lawmen. Marshall Johnson and Mr. MacFarlane steal the scenes they're in like nobody else does (outside of Dutch).
