Oh yeah thanks to controlls the whole game (Advance) should be hard.

Of that I played: RC missions in GTA LCS. F**K EM ALL.

God knows how I managed to beat them once.

Also yoga in GTA 5.

The hardest mission ever has to be the Air Raid in San Andreas. I absolutely hated that mission.

Close second is Supply Lines (SA again)

All of Zero's missions, except the last one...It's kinda funny that they put the easiest one last...

GTA 2 - Tanks a Lot and Conversion Evasion

GTA 3 - Espresso-2-Go and S.A.M.

Vice City - Death Row, the f*cking Stunt Boat Challenge, The Driver, Dildo Dodo, and hands down to Keep Your Friends Close

San Andreas - Zero's missions, End of the Line, and flight school

GTA Advance - Smackdown

Liberty City Stories - The Portland Chainsaw Masquerade and The Shoreside Redemption

Vice City Stories - Boomshine Blowout (that mission always makes me dread how early in the game it is), High Wire, Turn On, Tune in and Bug Out, and Light My Pyre

GTA IV - Catch the Wave

Chinatown Wars - Hands down to Slaying With Fire and Dragon Haul Z

The Driver in VC. Worst mission in all of GTA. Boomshine Blowout in VCS is a close second, the RC missions in LCS are also a pain in the ass.

Zero's missions can rot in hell.......

And Four Leaf Clover is what I'd have to say for IV solely because of the lack of checkpoints. Somebody else died or you did? Drive ALL the way back and do it again. Had to retry it four freaking times the other day cause somebody kept dropping dead in the subway stair areas where the cop swarm comes from. I love checkpoints cause it saves you from time consuming drives and having to redo missions that are long in general when you die at the very end. Miss Roman/Jacob's heli? Do the fire fight again :D God that pissed me off when I was younger I kept missing and missing and missing it on my first playthrough, now I have no problems.

Nothing is hard in V, Did somebody say yoga's just an annoying f*cker.

VCS: Boomshine Blowout was a challenge for me when i played VCS for the first time, drive the forklift always make me angry, 8 failed attempts only on that mission.

VC: The Driver, When i was always in the lead, those cops put me off the road, all the time, After 11 times i got an Deluxo and i won, this mission is pretty hard for a simple race.

SA: Vertical Bird gave me more trouble than all Zero's Missions, i tried on steath because those army guys on the ship always killed me when i was getting the Hydra, i failed 6 times on this.

LCS: Cash in Kasuki's Chips: When i was always getting on the top of the casino those Yakuzas killed me on the stairs, I don't had much money for guns and by that time i had only Micro SMG and AK-47, that was tense, if i remember, i failed 7 or 8 times on that mission.

III: Decoy: Was the worst mission for me, i died over 20 times, after 7 years when i played GTA III for the first time, i discovered the Airport trick, if i descovered that tip earlier ....

IV: Tunnel of Death: The Stockade is too slow, those cops always surrounded me when i was close to lose the wanted level, was hard for me, for 5 times i failed this mission.

CW: Missed The Boat, this mission is very hard, the boat's motor always failed for me when i was close to lose the Coast Guards, the boat exploded many times because of this, something like 8-10 failures on this mission.

The hardest GTA for me was GTA CW, because of those mini-games on DS, GTA VCS on PSP was hard too and the easiest GTA for me was GTA V.

The hardest mission ever was definitely, objectively, and without question, one of the missions in GTA III. It was probably Espresso 2 Go. Rigged To Blow was hard as f*ck, too. that game was the hardest game in the series.

Those two missions were harder than anything the series has ever seen since, only really rivaled by other missions in the same game.

TBH, I don't understand why these people keeps saying that either 3 or VC are the hardest games in the series. Those games are not that hard if you take your time to practice. GTA 2 on the other hand, is already a challenging game. Thanks to it's horrible controls and the fact that R* didn't even tested the missions before officially released the game. Furthermore, saving costs $50.000. And finally the REAL hardest game, GTA 1. You can die by taking one hit and you can only save after you have cleared one state, what an unfair game.

On console, the missions where you have to aim in first-person are the worst. Controllers were NOT designed for precise and accurate aiming, so I have no idea why I have to shoot tiny ass planes with it.

On any platform, it would have to be High Noon. High Noon is hard because you can shoot that pig bastard all goddamn day and he just doesn't die. What I did was use the extra time you get from Pulaski's fat ass getting to the car to shoot out the tires. It's hilarious watching that dumb f*cker slide in circles

This doesn't really count, but the last mission in Driving School. My f*ck I hate that sh*t. Here's an idea for a mission, let's make the player drive a fast car with sh*t handling around a city with tons of odd turns and steep inclines and declines, dodging sh*tty driver after sh*tty driver in a game with the worst draw distance issues, avoiding ANY and ALL damage, while also under a 2 minute time limit. And just to put a cherry on top of this sh*t sundae, let's make it so the previous driving school rules apply, where if you stop, even for just a fraction of a second to avoid hitting something, you are DQ'd and sent back to the beginning to start the sh*t show all f*cking over again. I swear that f*cking mission made me want to go all Elvis Presley and shoot my f*cking TV. All that to unlock a car dealership and a few extra missions where you boost cars for cash (Which totally wasn't copied by a future game in the franchise, no, not at all!)

I love that mission. It's one of my favorites in San Andreas :p

The Super GT is a beast, only for serious, Alpha Male drivers

Spoiler

Maybe I should start 'The Super GT Challenge', challenging people to complete every race in San Andreas driving the Super GT with the help of this mod.

Wrong Side of The Tracks was overrated as a hard mission in GTA SA. Honestly in GTA SA FLIGHT SCHOOL WAS SO DAMN HARD I WAS SO CLOSE TO BREAKING MY CONTROLLER IT TOOK ME ABOUT A WEEK TO FINALLY FINISH IT

I'll go with Vertical Limit and Flight Schools in San Andreas as well. Took me countless times to complete both missions.

Honorable mentions: Wrong Side of The Track. I think I needed two or three months to beat this mission if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps more than 3 months? Lol.

"The Driver" from Vice City was dreadful but even worse was "Waka-Gashira Wipeout" from GTA III. It's not hard to do but it's how easy it is for your car to get damaged in the game that makes it a nightmare.

Wrong Side of The Tracks was bad back when I was 7 or 8 playing in late 2004/early 2005 but when you complete it once, you never really fail it again.

Never understood how people found "Demolition Man" difficult.

A lot of the missions people have named here never actually caused me much trouble. I think I only failed Wrong Side of the Tracks one or two times before completing it, and I beat Zero's missions Air Raid and New Model Army on my first try (though f*ck Supply Lines, seriously). I didn't find Keep Your Friends Close that hard too, challenging but not extremely difficult. There isn't any missions in the HD universe I find particularly hard either except IV's final mission and the big bank heist with Packie also in IV (I never found the Big Score hard, but I did mod the sh*t out of my getaway cars :p)

The missions I had the most trouble with I don't see named here a lot. N.O.E., the one where you fly a plane to one side of the map and back with a timer for absolutely no reason SURROUNDED BY TREES AND STREETLIGHTS WHICH BLOW UP YOUR PLANE IN ONE COLLISION was my nightmare. The controls on the planes were such ass.

A mission I don't think I've seen mentioned yet is Body Harvest, the one where you steal a combine harvester. I honestly could NEVER pass that for weeks. Either the farmers shot me dead, my combine until it blew up, or I'd make it past them only for my combine harvester to flip over because it has the slipperiest and worst controls of any vehicle. One of the few missions I genuinely hate.

However, the gold medal of sh*t missions has to go to Vertical Bird. The one where you drive a boat into a secret army base, stealth (or attempt to stealth) your way through it, steal a hydra jet, and then get chased by THREE other hydra jets with MISSILES while trying to take out four boats which take about two hits each. Not only was this genuinely impossible, but to this day I cannot control the hydra. The controls for that (On PS2 at least) were the most horrific thing.

Amy mission featuring RC vehicles and San Andreas Flight school gave me headaches back in the day. And that last mission of GTA IV where you have to perfectly time jumping on the helicopter; make even one mistake and you can start over.

GTA III: Espresso 2 Go is very hard without the map
GTA Vice City: maybe Gunrunner (that mission for Phill) and rampage with katana
GTA San Andreas: Before I replayed 100x times, it was Home in the Hills and now BMX Challenge
GTA 4+EFLC+V :Everything is very easy...

Gta 3>Most of the missions
Gta vc>F**king stupid, pointless, useless helicopter mission, rc plane missions, dildo dodo, publicity Tour and the driver.
Gta sa>Wrong side of the tracks, zero's missions, n.o.e, freefall, flying school.
Gta 4>Most missions are easy but the snow storm is annoying and hard.
Gta 5>Yoga mission...That stupid yoga mission!Fortunately we can skip it.

There is more but I can't remember

Also I am glad they removed rc missions, it shouldn't be in the game for the first place by the way...

Actually, Nothing were really hard for me. Most mission in GTA isn't really hard and puzzling like RE. Well, in this case. I'll pick one mission in GTA 1 that if I'm not mistaken, the one that you need to drive a bus and you can't stop the bus because it was rigged. And if you stop, you're f-ed.

I gave up playing GTA V cause I could never get past that f*cking Boiler Suits mission. Rockstar needs to tone it down and make the game easier cause that mission was impossible.

I'd say there weren't many overly hard missions in the GTA series, a few of them are just tedious.

However, Death Row, in GTA: Vice City, was a challenge for me though. Trying to get to Lance before he dies, and fighting your way through a whole lot of Diaz's heavily armed goons and staying alive was very difficult when I first played through the game.

I'd also say that parts of the Driving School in GTA: San Andreas was quite challenging too, especially the last part of it where you had to drive to the other side of town and back in under two minutes, using a car that handles poorly, without damaging it. Also, Zero's second mission where you had to eliminate Berkley's delivery couriers before the fuel in the RC plane ran out was annoyingly hard as well.

Amy mission featuring RC vehicles and

Yeah, especially the one in Vice City. I don't think I ever managed without cheats. Flight school was ok for me (PC), struggled a bit more on Driver school.

Vice City had some not-so-easy missions, like Martha's mug shot.

VCS had some pretty tough missions, I#ve only been playing on an emulator though. The one where you have to clear an ambush before your vehicle gets blown up is where I quit, since that one was def. bugged (Purple Haze)

As for San An, I fail Wrong Side of the Tracks sometimes, but it's not that bad. I often struggle with Toreno's Last Flight. Also End of the Line. The second part when you have to get down, and you can't see anything with smoke/lights out.

Hard without autoaim, there's this one spot where I often die because I can't spot the enemies. This mission can be so frustrating , because it's so freaking long. I went absolutely mental when I finally managed to get out of the building  but then failed to catch Sweet and had to restart all over again.

GTA V I don't recall any missions particularly hard-

GTA 3: Espresso 2 Go! and S.A.M. They're both bs as hell and close to being impossible.

Vice City: Demolition Man was annoying, but I got it on my third try. Checkpoint Charlie was pretty bad since the boat controls were really bad. But the worst is Dildo Dodo since the plane would take forever to get any speed, and then you can't control it when it goes too fast.

San Andreas: Wrong Side of the Tracks took me two tries. Supply Lines is the worst of the worst though.

GTA 4: I haven't played in a while so I can't remember lol.

GTA 5: game was a cake walk but Lamar Down was a little hard, but it wasn't bullsh*t so I liked it.
