Street Rod. Those games were awesome, with the really cool modding and other aspects of the car life that no game has captured since.

Auto Modellista. That game looked so damn good, and the modifications felt so great. Having your little garage to see the car and do the changes, great stuff.

Transport Tycoon. A proper sequel would be great. I think there's a new game being developed now that is also touted as the spiritual successor to this, but all games that claimed to be so failed to deliver. This game is just fantastic. OpenTTD for life.

I was going to mention this also. The Skate games were some of the best skateboarding games I've ever played, and I liked the whole flick-it controls for the tricks. It made a Varial to a grind way more special than mashing buttons like in Tony Hawk. After THPS 5's disaster, EA couldn't be in a better position to announce a Skate game if it's even a thing.

Definitely, the first time I played Skate, I skated in real life, too; and was blow away by how faithful the controls to the actual movement you do with your feet while on a skateboard were. The developers did an amazing job with that. Only two things I didn't really like about Skate were the camera, too close to the skater, and the fact that you couldn't freely walk, but always had to be on your skateboard - glad the next ones fixed both of these things. However yes, you're right, this is the perfect moment for EA to announce Skate 4 - hope they're actually working on it right now.

I love TH games, don't get me wrong, I grew up playing the PS1 and PS2 ones, but I prefer Skate's realism over the over-the-top gameplay of TH. I don't compare them, though, they are different games, and I like both series. Another amazing skateboarding game was Rockstar's Thrasher: Skate and Destroy, had a lot of fun playing it as a kid.

To bad that Sony is not planing Syphon Filter jet. Well,I can always hope.
As for Goldeneye/007,we could probably expect more James Bond games in a future, maybe when next movie is released, and hopefully it will be a good Goldeneye-like FPS again.
Another game I would like to see is sequel to The Saboteur game, maybe this time made by Ubisoft. Would love to see new Saboteur game set in Amsterdam,Prague or Belgrade.

Yeah, as I've already said, I'd love a reboot or a remake for Syphon Filter, the first 3 ones were on my top 10 list during the PS1-era, and still feel nostalgic whenever I see a screen of those games. Never played the ones on PS2 and PSP, but I don't like them from what I've seen.

A new 007 game would be amazing, too. I think it would be a great idea if the next one was an Open-World game, to be honest - that'd add a lot of opportunities when it come to the gameplay, and I think a 007 game set in an open-ended environment would work fine.

Never played The Saboteur, but I've heard good things about it, I've also heard that it's pretty underrated. A game I was pretty hyped about was Alekhine's Gun, the third installment of the Death to Spies series (just different name), and, gameplay-wise, it's basically a mix between Hitman and Metal Gear, with a strong resemblance to what Rockstar's Agent was supposed to be (Stealth spy game during the Cold War). For some reason it received a lot of hate from both critics and gamers, but it looks alright in my opinion. Check it out.

I  would pay a million bucks to see sequels to Space Channel 5, Crazy Taxi, OutRun (though it's pretty unlikely with the Ferrari license expiring) and Jet Set Radio, the latter three of which would have a custom soundtrack feature.

I'd punch a baby for a quality remake of Silent Hill 2.  Greatest horror game ever made and one of my favorite video games period.  The HD "remaster" was a travesty - worse in many respects than the original game, and generally looked like dogsh*t.  They should use the Resident Evil remake/remaster as a model.  I've lost hope that they'll make a good original game in the series again (Konami seems to be moving away from video games in general), but they could at least farm the rights to make a quality remake of a great game to someone who'll do it justice.

I'd like another Pokemon Ranger or sequel to Colosseum/XD. Both spimoff series have't had a new title in years and were great games with good stories

And L4D3, I may be sick of zombies but I want a new L4D

Games I'd like to see (but I'm not holding my breath):

- Another Driver game.
- Don't know if it will happen, but a Saints Row V.
- Another Earthworm Jim game. Great memories.
Don't know if these count:
a. Another 2D universe GTA. It would have been nice to see a GTA in the vein of "Respect is Everything" 2 (much like how the London GTAs are in the vein of 1), before Rockstar
signed off on the 2D universe and made GTA 3. Or even a GTA for the N64 (that could have either been a port of GTA 1 or maybe a GTA 2 style game). But, it will never happen,
so all that happens here is wondering about what could have been.
b. Would really like to see "Episodes from Los Santos" for GTA V, but there is an extremely great chance it does not happen, knowing Rockstar and their prized possession being
Online.

As far as my interpretation of 'old' goes, I want a third entry of Red Dead. Redemption being 6 years old, enough time has passed that a newborn baby would be entering elementary school.

For really old games, I would choose the original Crash Bandicoot series on PS1. The game was at its peak at that time, so it would be better to go back to that point of time and build on what was successful, had positive reception and remained as a folk memory. From a development point of view, I don't think that remaking the series would be anywhere challenging by today's standards and I can imagine that a studio like Naughty Dog can handle working on two simultaneous projects at a time where one of them is a new Crash Bandicoot game and the other could be a sequel to The Last of Us.

Lately, I am hearing various rumors about Sony reviving Crash Banidcoot and that Naughty Dog might be involved. If any of this turned out to be true, then I can imagine a new $30-$40 Crash Bandicoot game to be released on PSN and would be playable on PS3 and PS4. I don't think that it would have the budget to be a $60 retail game.

The story wasn't that bad. I agree.
I wouldn't mind a sequel to Heavy Rain. Loved that game. And also Red Dead Redemption

Tony hawks pro skater 5. A shame the series ended with proving ground. Not that old, but still.

A skate 4 would be great too.

I'm counting games that are at least 10 years old and didn't have any sequels in this decade:

-Road Rash

-Primal Rage

-Crash Bandicoot

-Spyro The Dragon

-Ape Escape (there was some spin off sequel from 2010,but the last proper game was from 2005)

-Bully

-Spore (it's kind of an exception since it's from 2008,but I'd like to see a more realistic sequel or reboot, the game looked a bit too child-friendly with cute cartoony creatures and no blood)

I'm sure there's more games I'd like to see sequels of,but these are all I can remember for now

I'd love to see a true sequel to the events of the second game, with a sensible cast, premise and location (or even a reboot).

I don't see how a sequel could work without it coming off as corny and cheesy considering Scarface (the movie) never had a sequel. I know there was a prequel planned about Tony's son?, but that seems to have been canned.

The World Is Yours kind of served as a sequel to the movie on the basis that had Tony survived the shootout at the mansion. However in saying that I would much rather see this get a PS4/XB1 remaster than a sequel.

Anyway I would love to see Manhunt 3 or a Bully 2. A sequel to LA Noire would be cool too.

Bully is a giving, a game that brilliant would be hard to top, though.

Also, I want a proper sequel to the real Saints row games (1 & 2) just forget about those last two abominations I would happily pretend they never existed.

I could play Black 2 while I wait. Not that crap Criterion and EA were going to shovel out in 2007-8 but a proper gun porn sequel. I'd settle for a remaster, actually.

Rewind a few years and I'd agree with you on this, but present day me says a sequel would just not live up to what we want. Hell, even the concept art of where they wanted the sequel to go is enough to make me glad they cancelled it.
black-2-characters-640x0.jpg
Black was a great game for the time; graphics, innovatiness (sic?), all with a storyline that kept you hooked whilst traversing some fantastic levels. my feeling is that a sequel would have just been a generic shooter that flopped...

I mean, it's not an "old" game per say, but I am still awaiting a Battlefield Bad Company 3.

Bad Company is by far my favourite 'series' in the Battlefield, uhm, series. Recently just finished BC1, and it was just as great as BC2; I mean, don't get me wrong I love all the BF titles, but the storyline mixed with the gameplay was more appealing to me than the generic miliatary shooter. Not sure if it's just because it was the first BF title I played, but BC2 was also my favourite MP too.

Not sure if I've previously mentioned it within this topic, but I've been waiting what feels like a lifetime for Timesplitters 4...my only feeling though is that with the way the industry works today, you'd get 25 characters, and the rest would be DLC unlockable only, rather than making us grind through the campaign or do MP challenges to unlock them. No word of a lie, TS2 still ranks within the top 5 of my all time favourite FPS games ever.

Yeah, that was my point about Black. The planned sequel looked terrible and would have just been embarrassing for the franchise. A remaster or reboot of the original with ADS and skippable cutscenes would be amazing, though. The industry has really lost sight of what made a shooter like Black so great.
