1.0. EC Teal Kuruma

Mission: Give Me Liberty

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: To obtain the first Special Vehicle in the game is rather simple.  During Give Me Liberty, the opening cutscene of the game, you are given this Kuruma to drive 8 Ball and yourself back to the Portland Safehouse.  After driving back to the Safehouse, you will be instructed to go to Luigi's Club to start the Mission Luigi's Girls by picking up Misty and returning her to Luigi's Club.  Do this task using the Kuruma you have and just keep it after passing the Mission.  You can convert almost all of the Special Vehicles in GTA III into DP form by using a simple trick involving the Crusher at the Junkyard.  In LieutenantCB17's Video, you will see it being done but this will only work on Console and PC.  In you fooking w0t m9?'s Video, you will also see it being done but this is solely for people playing on Mobile as the Taxi trick won't work if you're playing on Mobile thus you won't be able to get a passenger in the Kuruma to convert to DP.  Using the Taxi Side Mission trick, you can convert these Vehicles into DP form any time you want in free roam, but if you're on Mobile, you'll have to do it while you are still on the Mission, Luigi's Girls, using Misty as your passenger before passing the Mission.  Also in you fooking w0t m9?'s Video, you will see the Kuruma after being converted to DP/EC being brought to Shoreside Vale.  This is absolutely vital if you plan on obtaining the maximum of 13 Special Vehicles in the same Save.  Most of the Special Vehicles that come from the Portland Story Missions must be brought to Shoreside Vale early since the Portland Garage is too small for some and only has a tolerance of one Vehicle being allowed inside.  I'll explain in more detail later on in 2.5 of this Guide of how the Crusher works with converting Special Vehicles into DP form, so if you have trouble understanding what is going on in these Videos within the Guide, make sure you read 2.5 and also watch the Video as MattJ155 does a really good job verbally explaining it while showing it in action.  It's really simple once you get the hang of it, though.  Once you take your DP/EC Kuruma to the Shoreside Vale Garage and store it, make your way back to Portland as shown in you fooking w0t m9?'s Video and save the game!

1.1. BP/FP Securicar

Mission: Van Heist

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before going into the blue marker to start the Mission Van Heist, have a Fire Truck with you.  After the Mission has begun, simply use the Fire Truck to ram the Securicar as hard as you can.  This should only take one or two rams and the guards will leave allowing you to get inside of it.  This isn't vital, though, and you can do whatever you find necessary to gain access to the Securicar.  Once you finally are inside the Securicar, you will most likely have a two star wanted level.  If you did the Vigilante Side Mission early, go to the Safehouse and pick up two Police Bribes.  If not, go get Police Bribes that spawn in their locations or use a Pay and Spray to lose the wanted level.  After the wanted level is cleared, go back to your Safehouse and park the Securicar in the Garage.  The Mission will still be on, however, but you fail it by destroying the Securicar thus allowing it to be kept.  To do this, either have Grenades or an RPG.  Alternatively, you can just stay inside the Securicar and ram it against the wall inside the Garage until it catches fire.  Once it's on fire, get out of it, and allow it to blow up failing the Mission.  Allow the Garage to close, open, close, and open it again to see it renewed.  If the Garage is closed when it blows up and you keep it closed for too long without opening it up, the wreck can easily vanish, so be quick.  Once it's renewed, do like you see in the Video and similar to what was done in the above Kuruma Post and take the Securicar to Shoreside Vale early and store it in that Garage, then make your way back to Portland and save the game!  The Method in this Video will work on Console, PC, and Mobile, despite it being shown on Mobile.  Also, this is one of four Special Vehicles in the Guide that physically can't be converted to DP with the Crusher, so don't bother trying.

1.2. Unique Corpse Manana

Mission: Dead Skunk in the Trunk

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is quite a neat Special Vehicle to have in your collection.  It technically is possible to convert this one into DP form, but by doing that, you will never again be able to see the dead body in the trunk since you won't be able to damage it and pop it open, so I recommend not converting this one.  What makes it special is the dead body in the trunk and you want to be able to see that whenever you like.  Making it DP will just make it less special in the end.  Start the Mission Dead Skunk in the Trunk and make sure you have some kind of weapon.  When you approach the Manana, you will have two Sentinels coming after you.  What you want to try and do is destroy them so they won't be an issue to you.  After the Sentinels are blown up, get inside the Manana and take it back to the Portland Garage.  In the Video, he immediately will take it to the Shoreside Vale Garage while the Mission is still on, which is fine, but it's probably best to take it back to Portland and blow the Manana up inside that Garage in the same way I made note of in the BP/FP Securicar Post above.  Just ram the Manana repeatedly into the wall until it catches fire, then get out, and let it explode while allowing the Garage to renew it by closing, opening, closing, and opening it as the Mission fails.  After that, I'd save the game, personally, since getting it to Shoreside Vale can be quite tedious at times since it likes to not fall through the ground properly and flip over, thus making you redo the entire Mission and process.  Take it to Shoreside Vale at this time like shown in the Video and store it in that Garage.  Then make your way back to Portland like this Video and the previous two Videos have shown and save the game.

1.3. BP/EP/FP Cheetah

Mission: Turismo (El Burro Payphone Mission)

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is one of the more challenging Special Vehicles in GTA III to obtain, but if you're determined, you shouldn't have an issue with it.  Make sure you do not upset the Triads before obtaining this.  You want to obtain this before you piss off any Triads and Mafia.  First of all, you'll need to get a Mr. Wongs Van and convert it to DP as shown in the Video before starting the Payphone Mission, Turismo.  Once you have the DP Mr. Wongs, you're ready to obtain this BP/EP/FP Cheetah, arguably the best Special Vehicle in the entire game.  This can be obtained on Mobile the same way as shown in the Video, but you'll need to use a Mission which gives you a passenger in order to convert the Mr. Wongs to DP.  The one I used was "The Getaway."  During that Mission, you need to pick up three Leones and if you pick them up in a four seated Vehicle first, then get the Mr. Wongs, two of them will stay in the four seated Vehicle while one of them gets out and will get into the Mr. Wongs.  Make it DP and store it in the Portland Garage, then continue with The Getaway like normal and pass the Mission.  Then you will have the DP Mr. Wongs and ready to obtain this BP/EP/FP Cheetah.  Start Turismo and use your DP Mr. Wongs to get to the final checkpoint in front of the Callahan Bridge but do not go through it just yet.  At this point, turn the Mr. Wongs around as shown in the Video and wait for a Cheetah to come in sight.  When you see a Cheetah coming toward the last checkpoint, go through it to pass the Mission/Race and try to ram the Cheetah so that it lands upside down.  This doesn't always happen and can take several attempts, however, I've obtained this Cheetah without even fully flipping the Cheetah.  I just followed it at the end of the Race and rammed it against a wall in Atlantic Quays where it got stuck and on two wheels which made the driver leave the Cheetah.  If that happens, you are good to go.  As long as the driver leaves the Cheetah, which can happen in a couple of ways, you are good to go.  If you do manage to flip the Cheetah upside down, the driver will leave it, too, and you will notice it doesn't blow up.  This is because of the TP (Tip Proof) Property it has before storing it in a Garage.  This Property exists in many 3D Era GTA's, but only is retained by the Garages in LCS and VCS.  In GTA III, Garages eat the TP Property.  Use the Mr. Wongs to slowly and carefully push the Cheetah back to the Portland Garage.  If you didn't do the Salvatore Missions yet, then the Triads shouldn't hate Claude, thus making the push through Chinatown rather simple.  If the Cheetah is on its back while you push it, it may go invisible.  Don't panic.  It doesn't actually disappear (unless you take the camera off of it and leave it off of it for several seconds), but rather goes invisible.  If this happens, just change the camera to Top Down View and the Cheetah will come back in sight.  Continue to carefully push it back to the Garage and inside the Garage.  Once you have it inside the Garage, let the Garage close on it and when you open it again, your shiny new BP/EP/FP Cheetah will be there.  At this time, save the game!  After saving, feel free to convert it to DP using the Crusher and take it to Shoreside Vale early as that is the place it should go at this time.  Once converted to DP, it's one of three AP Vehicles that are available and obtainable in GTA III.  Good luck!  The Turismo Mission can actually be played after 100% and this can be obtained using another Method anytime you want, however, using that Method requires a Mission Failure.  This is the only Method in which allows you to pass Turismo whilst obtaining this Cheetah.

1.4. AP/EC Black Stretch

Mission: Salvatore's Called a Meeting

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This AP/EC Black Stretch brings me so much nostalgia!  I remember back in the early 2000's when GTA III was brand new and this was found but required many cheats in order to obtain it.  I wished I could get it without cheats and low and behold almost a decade later, it was found how to obtain it and without any cheats!  Start Salvatore's Called a Meeting and head toward Joey's Garage to fetch the Linerunner as shown in the Video.  Park the Linerunner on the side of Joey's Garage like shown in the Video and go fetch a random Vehicle so you can jump on to the top of the Linerunner.  You'll need to keep jumping over and over when standing on the top of the Linerunner and underneath the lip of the Garage.  Eventually, with a little luck, you'll glitch into the Garage.  If done correctly, you won't fall into Blue Hell and will land on solid ground like shown in the Video.  Run along the solid ground toward the left side of the Garage and then get to where the AP/EC Stretch is sitting.  Simply get inside of it and just back up and fall into Blue Hell.  You'll respawn back on land and now just drive it to the Ocean and give it a dunk in the water to fail the Mission as shown in the Video.  You can either store this Stretch in the Portland Garage or take it to Shoreside Vale early.  If I were you, I'd take it to Shoreside Vale since all the previous Special Vehicles in the Guide were taken there and it's not hard and will easily fit.  In the Video, you will see a Method to get it to Shoreside Vale which seems to only work on PC and Mobile.  Perhaps Xbox, too, but certainly not PS2 as I tried it on PS2 and it doesn't work.  Do what you see in the Video and get it to Shoreside Vale, then just make your way back to Portland and save the game!  If you're on PS2, despite this Stretch already being in DP form, you will need to use the Crusher to make it a Ghost temporarily.  After the Crusher does its magic and drops the Stretch back down to the ground after using the Taxi trick to get a passenger in it, just drive the Ghost Stretch to Staunton Island Garage simply by driving the Ghost Stretch through the barriers of the Porter Tunnel.  Since it's a Ghost, you will be able to drive right through the blue barriers no problem.  When you get to the Garage in Staunton Island, park the Stretch inside and allow the Garage to close and open again thus removing the Ghost feature.  At this time, get inside of it and now go back to the Porter Tunnel but this time starting in Staunton Island and just drive it to Shoreside Vale Garage.  There won't be any barriers in your way.  The Porter Tunnel gets barriers once Staunton Island is legit unlocked, but since it's not actually unlocked yet, you won't have any barriers in your way when going into the Porter Tunnel starting in Staunton Island and going to Shoreside Vale.  Once you get to Shoreside Vale, store it in the Garage with your other Special Vehicles inside of there and then return to Portland to save the game!

1.5. BP/FP Trashmaster with Bomb

Mission: Blow Fish

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: There is actually two Methods which you can use to get this Trashmaster, but I will only be explaining the better, and easier Method of the two.  The one I will explain and show guarantees success whereas the other Method is very luck based and difficult to pull off resulting in a lot of wasted time.  First, start the Mission Blow Fish and go to where the Trashmaster is parked.  Once you retrieve the Trashmaster, simply drive it to the Ocean where you took the AP/EC Stretch and dunk it in the water to fail the Mission.  At this point, you have temporarily obtained the Trashmaster.  I say that since the Portland Garage is way too small to store it inside so your only option to keep this is by taking it to Staunton Island early.  Like shown in the Video, you will need to keep the Trashmaster in memory whilst completing Blow Fish, Bomb da Base Act I, Bomb da Base Act II, and Last Requests.  Do not drive any Vehicles at this point other than the Vehicle(s) given to you during the Mission.  For instance, when you start Blow Fish, you'll obviously be given another Trashmaster to use to blow up the Triad's Fish Factory.  This Vehicle is obviously allowed to be driven and your Trashmaster left in memory won't disappear.  Then during Last Requests, you're given a Boat to drive to Staunton Island which unlocks it legit and ends the Portland Story Missions.  Again, driving this Boat won't make the Trashmaster vanish.  Simply park your Trashmaster you are leaving in memory for the remaining 3 Missions, plus a cutscene for Bomb da Base Act I, in a safe location and remember to always run on foot back to it after each Mission and get inside of it, then get out of it, and continue to run on foot to the next Mission and start it.  Once passed, always check to assure the Trashmaster is still where you left it and do not drive any Vehicles.  After passing Last Requests, you just need to run on foot all the way back to Portland from Staunton Island to fetch your BP/FP Trashmaster you left behind in a safe place and simply drive it across the Callahan Bridge to Staunton Island and store it in the Garage.  You have now permanently obtained the Trashmaster and it's yours for keeping.  Now just save the game since you probably didn't save the game since before failing Blow Fish the first time for this Trashmaster.  What is also cool about this Trashmaster other than being rather rare in terms of it spawning on the road and also possessing the BP/FP Properties, it also has the same Bomb on it for blowing up the Triad's Fish Factory.  You can keep the Bomb, too.  You can always activate it and blow it up whenever you like just for fun.  Don't blow it up and then save the game, though, or the Bomb will be removed and lost for good.  What's also interesting is a Trashmaster is too big to fit into 8 Ball's Bomb Shop so you can never get the Bomb back once it's detonated!  Unfortunately, this is two of four Special Vehicles in the Guide in which can't be converted to DP using the Crusher.

1.6. EC Black Rumpo

Mission: Under Surveillance

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Black Rumpo is rather easy to get, but you'll need to do the Mission in a certain way and order of events to obtain it.  After starting the Mission Under Surveillance, drive to Belleville Park and shoot the guys inside the park.  After you take them out, drive to the Casino and take out all of those guys on the building across from the Casino.  Once those guys are taken care of, now drive to the final target, which will be a couple guys inside a Black Rumpo parked off on the side of the road.  All you have to do is drive into the Rumpo or shoot at it to force the driver and the enemy in the back out.  Now just kill the driver and the enemy in the back and the Mission will now be over and passed.  Simply take the Rumpo back to Staunton Island and store it to keep it.  To make it converted to DP using the Crusher on Console and PC, apply the Taxi trick to get a passenger inside the front seat with you and then apply the Crusher trick to make it a Ghost and drive it to Shoreside Vale through the Porter Tunnel.  When you get to Shoreside Vale, store it in that Garage and that should be the sixth and final Special Vehicle allowed and stored in Shoreside Vale if you've been going through the Guide and obtaining them all following the tips I've been given to maximize storage space and obtaining a total of 13 Special Vehicles in your Save.  After storing the Rumpo in the Garage, go to Francis International Airport and take a Boat back to Staunton Island as it's the only way back to Staunton Island at this time since the Porter Tunnel now has barriers in place from Shoreside Vale to Staunton Island or vice versa.  In the Video below shows a Method to make the Rumpo converted to DP, but don't bother trying it anymore since it has recently been patched on Mobile and it will not work anymore if your Version is up to date.  If you want to make this DP on Mobile, you'll need a Mission in which gives you a passenger to be able to use the Crusher trick.  Consult 2.5 of the Guide for a list of Missions in which can be used to make Vehicles converted to DP on Mobile.

1.7. BP Barracks OL

Mission: Arms Shortage

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is probably one of the more easier Special Vehicles in the Guide, similar to that of the EC Kuruma and BP Patriot in terms of difficulty since it's practically given to you.  Start the Mission Arms Shortage and just pass Arms Shortage.  Once passed, the Barracks OL will be sitting there across from where the Tank is sitting.  Just take it back to a Garage and store it!  If you want to convert it to DP on Console and PC, just use the Taxi trick to get a passenger in the front seat and apply the Crusher trick.  Then just drive the Barracks OL back to the Staunton Island Garage and store it inside.  If you're on Mobile, however, you will need to use a Mission like Kanbu Bust Out to get a passenger which will allow the Crusher to do its magic and allow you to convert it to DP.  Watch the Video from 11:05 to see how it's done.  You can convert the Barracks OL into BP/DP and pass Kanbu Bust Out at the same time.  Surprisingly enough, you are able to convert this large Vehicle into DP form, whereas the Securicar and Trashmaster were too large for the Crusher to work.  It's good to convert this beast into DP form as it can also be used to obtain the next Special Vehicle in the Guide.

1.8. BP/EP/FP Bobcat

Mission: Evidence Dash

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This Special Vehicle is probably on par with the BP/EP/FP Cheetah I explained how to get earlier in the Guide.  It may take several tries, but if you're determined to get it, you'll need to do this and take your time.  It's possible to obtain this Bobcat using a Fire Truck to ram the Bobcat on its back, but the Fire Truck obviously will eventually break down from crashing so if I were you, I would use the BP/DP Barracks OL you obtained from Arms Shortage to obtain this BP/EP/FP Bobcat.  First, start the Mission Evidence Dash with or without your Barracks OL and locate the Bobcat.  Once you find it, ram it, but don't pick up the package, and you'll get a two star wanted level.  Either go back to your Safehouse and pick up two Police Bribes to clear it, or go to a Pay and Spray to clear it.  Once cleared, get your BP/DP Barracks OL out of the Garage and and once again locate the Bobcat driving around.  What you want to try and do is ram the Bobcat in a way so that it flips over on its back.  Once you succeed, wait for the message to appear on the bottom of the screen saying "That car is a decoy!!"  The Bobcat won't blow up when it's flipped upside down since, like the BP/EP/FP Cheetah from Turismo, the Bobcat is also TP (Tip Proof).  Use your Barracks OL to now push the Bobcat all the way back to the Staunton Island Safehouse and into the Garage.  Once you get it into the Garage, also put your Barracks OL back into the Garage, then get a random Vehicle from the street and continue the Mission as normal by collecting all the packages and then destroying your own Vehicle to get rid of the evidence and pass the Mission.  Once passed, go check on your Bobcat and save the game!  If you want to convert the Bobcat to DP on Console or PC, use the Taxi trick to get a passenger and apply the Crusher trick.  After using the Crusher, just drive it back to the Staunton Island Garage and store it.  If you're on Mobile, you will need to use a Mission that has a passenger in order to convert it to DP using the Crusher.  Consult 2.5 of the Guide for a list of Missions with passengers that you can use on Mobile.  If you do go about converting this Bobcat into DP form, it's the final AP Vehicle you get in GTA III.  AP Cheetah from Turismo and after converting it to DP, AP/EC Stretch from Salvatore's Called a Meeting, and now this AP Bobcat from Evidence Dash and after converting it to DP.

1.9. EC Purple/Red Cheetah

Mission: Grand Theft Auto

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: In this Mission, Grand Theft Auto, you will be running into not only this EC Cheetah, but also an EC Stinger, and EC2 Infernus.  All three of them can be obtained at the same time with only failing the Mission once.  Simply start the Mission and retrieve each Vehicle, but instead of taking them to the Garage that the Mission is instructing you to take them to, just drive them back to the Staunton Island Garage.  Park two of them in the Garage and when you have the third Vehicle, drive it back to the Garage and let the timer expire like shown in the Video.  Once the Mission fails, you have them to keep.  At this point if you're been obtaining all the Special Vehicles in the Guide up to these three Sports Cars, you should have six inside Shoreside Vale and completely filled to the maximum capacity.  You should now also have six inside the Staunton Island Garage filling its maximum capacity.  Portland's Garage should be completely empty at this point which will make converting these three Sports Cars to DP form rather easy.  On Console and PC, using the Taxi trick to get a passenger, just drive one of them to the Crusher and let it do its magic.  After, just drive the Vehicle to the Portland Garage and allow the Garage to close on it to remove the Ghost effect.  Now that one of the three are converted to DP, drive it back to Staunton Island to store it in that Garage and rinse and repeat until all three are converted to DP and back in the Staunton Island Garage.  Using Portland's Garage to remove the Ghost effect will obviously be the best option instead of trying to drive the Ghost Vehicle into the packed Staunton Island Garage.  After converting all three, save the game!  If you're on Mobile, however, this will be a bit more difficult and time consuming since you will have to use a Mission in which gives you a passenger to be able to use the Crusher and make them DP.  Consult 2.5 of the Guide for a list of Missions in which you can use on Mobile to make DP Vehicles.

2.0. EC Purple/Red Stinger

Mission: Grand Theft Auto

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Consult 1.9 of the Guide since it's the same exact Method to obtain this Stinger.  In fact, you obtain the EC Cheetah, EC Stinger, and EC2 Infernus all at the same time during the Mission Grand Theft Auto.

Video by you fooking w0t m9?

2.1. EC2 Purple/Red Infernus

Mission: Grand Theft Auto

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Consult 1.9 of the Guide since it's the same exact Method to obtain this Infernus.  In fact, you obtain the EC Cheetah, EC Stinger, and EC2 Infernus all at the same time during the Mission Grand Theft Auto.  Make note that the primary color found on this Infernus isn't special.  It's the secondary color which makes it special and it's visible.

Video by you fooking w0t m9?

2.2. BP Patriot

Mission: Marked Man

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This another easy Special Vehicle to obtain like the EC Kuruma and BP Barracks OL since it's given to you.  After passing Marked Man, Ray will tell you to go to his lockup and retrieve this Patriot.  Do exactly that and it's yours!  If you've been following along with each entry in the Guide and using all the tips I've given about maximizing storage space and where to store all the Special Vehicles up to this point to give you 13 in total, you should have Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale completely filled and 12 total Special Vehicles.  With this Patriot makes 13 and you can store it in the empty Portland Garage at this time.  If you want to convert it to DP, simply use the Taxi trick to get a passenger in the front seat and use the Crusher trick and let it do its magic.  Just drive the Patriot back to the Portland Garage and store it.  Once the Garage closes down on it, it's now a BP/DP Patriot!  To convert it to DP on Mobile, you can use the final Payphone Mission called Rumble for D-Ice.  The passenger can be used to convert it to DP.  After storing it, just drive back to Shoreside Vale and take everyone out with the Baseball Bat used during the Mission and that's it.

2.3. EP/EC Black Trim Securicar

Mission: Escort Service

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: If you've been following along and obtained all the Special Vehicles up until this point, then you will already have 13 total Special Vehicles, which is the maximum you can store in GTA III rendering this one useless since you can't store it no matter what.  Furthermore, both Methods shown in the Videos will require you to have practically an empty Garage in Staunton Island which means you'll need to remove a handful of Special Vehicles if you want this one.  I've seen people have Saves where they obtained this EP/EC Securicar and finished with 13, but I am not sure how they did it.  Besides, the Securicar itself is rather useless with only having the EP Property and you should already have the better Securicar, being BP/FP.  If you want this one, however, I will obviously explain it.  Before starting this Mission, Escort Service, either have a large Vehicle like a Fire Truck, Barracks OL, or even you own BP/DP Barracks OL obtained from Arms Shortage and converted to DP with the Crusher.  Start the Mission and do like you see in the Video by MattJ155.  You will need to force the driver of the Securicar back to your Staunton Island Garage by rubbing on the side of it after taking out the Cartel Cruiser.  It's best to do this with a BP/DP Barracks OL since it won't take any damage from rubbing against the Securicar, but it's possible to do it without a DP Vehicle as that is what is shown in MattJ155's Video.  If you managed to get it back to the Safehouse, it can very possibly drive into the Garage by itself!  If this happens, just shoot it to blow it up inside the Garage and let the Garage close on it to renew it after the Mission has failed.  You now obtained the EP/EC Securicar and it's yours to keep.  The Securicar's Trim on the bars and mirrors are what makes it special and different to other Securicars.  These are black in the Mission.  Ones found in traffic are silver.  Another Method to obtain this Securicar would be to use a Tank as shown in you fooking w0t m9?'s Video.  You can get a Tank from a six star wanted level, Emergency Vehicle Crane for Import/Export, or during Arms Shortage.  It doesn't matter how you get it, just as long as you have one before starting this Mission.  All you have to do is bump into the EP/EC Securicar after starting the Mission.  The Mission will fail since the Securicar was destroyed and now just push the wreck back to the Staunton Island Safehouse Garage using the Tank.  When you get back, use the Tank to push it into the Garage and let the Garage close on it to renew it!  This is now the third of four Special Vehicles in the Guide in which can't be converted to DP as the Crusher won't accept it.

2.4. Unique RC Bandit

Mission: Toyminator (D-Ice Payphone Mission)

Difficulty: ***

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is quite a strange Special Vehicle.  Once obtained, this can not be driven or controlled in any way, shape, or form.  Furthermore, it's actually not solid and Claude can walk right through it.  It's one of those Special Vehicles in which can only be admired and looked at in your Garage.  It's been known for a little while now and could be obtained, however, the game would crash if you fired a weapon after obtaining it or if you drove a Vehicle on it and touched the RC Bandit also would result in the game crashing.  It wasn't until Aldi Rizqi found a way to obtain it without any crashing.  For now, this is only obtainable on the PC Version of GTA III since it involves using the Replay Feature and this is only present on the PC Version of GTA III.  In fact, the Replay Feature is only present on the PC Version for all GTA's.  If you're playing on Console or Mobile, this won't work and you can stop reading now.  Since I don't play the PC Version and never obtained this Unique RC Bandit I won't be able to explain what is going on.  You'll need to watch the Video and read Aldi's comment and description of how to obtain it.  Make note that since the Mission has to be failed twice, this will register two extra Mission Attempts in the Stats.

2.5. DP Vehicles (Almost Anything You Want)

Mission: Free Roam Using Taxi Trick (All Platforms Except Mobile) / Missions with Passenger in Front Seat (Mobile Platforms)

Difficulty: * or ***

Pass or Fail: -

How to Obtain: There is two possible Methods to convert almost any Vehicle into DP form and I will be explaining both.  One of the Methods is much easier and can be done in free roam at any time on all Platforms and Versions of GTA III except Mobile Platforms.  The other Method is exclusive to Mobile Platforms and can only work with certain Missions within the game.  First, make note that all Vehicles in the entire database of GTA III can be converted to DP form except a Blista, Bus, Dodo, Fire Truck, Securicar, Trashmaster, and Rhino Tank.  These are Vehicles in which won't be accepted by the Crusher for some reason or another and is true for all Platforms and Versions of GTA III.  MattJ155 does an excellent job at demonstrating how the Crusher trick works as well as explaining it within his Video.  All you have to do is have a Taxi or Cabbie to start.  Next, get inside of it and activate the Taxi Side Mission but while holding the button down, get out of the Taxi/Cabbie and get into your desired Vehicle you want to convert to DP.  Once you get inside of it and Claude is sitting at the driver's seat, release the button and this will allow you to do the Taxi Side Mission in any Vehicle other than a Taxi/Cabbie.  This is vital for the Cusher trick to work and to convert Vehicles into DP form.  At this point, drive to Harwood, close to the Crusher and find a passenger.  Allow the passenger to get into the front seat of your desired Vehicle and drive to the Crusher, parking it like you see in the Video with the driver's side door rubbing against the side of the Crusher and completely blocked so Claude can't exit.  Now what you want to do is exit the Vehicle allowing Claude to get out through the door where your passenger is sitting, but do this while holding the look-back button, or the button that activated the Taxi Side Mission.  Once Claude exits and the magnet of the Crusher is coming down to pick the Vehicle up, it's safe to press the button to get back into the Vehicle, still holding the look-back button down.  Claude will pull the passenger out and move over to the driver's seat.  At this time, release the look-back button and the Vehicle will be dropped from the magnet and the Taxi Side Mission will be canceled.  Carefully drive it back to a Safehouse and store the Vehicle in the Garage.  Once the Garage closes down on it, the Vehicle has been successfully converted to DP.  After the magnet drops the Vehicle back down to the ground, it's actually a Ghost and can drive through walls, buildings, and through Blue Hell.  Furthermore, it also seems to grow in size, making the Vehicle harder to control and also slower.  You can actually resize the Vehicle and make it normal again by driving into Blue Hell and allowing it to respawn back on land.  If the Vehicle is too long when you get it back to a Garage, the Garage won't close down on it so it's always a good idea to resize it by falling into Blue Hell when you are near the Safehouse allowing it to be stored a bit easier.  Like I said previously, watch the Video by MattJ155 since he does a good job explaining it while showing it in action.  Once you get the hang of it, it's very simple.

For Mobile Users, you will have a more tedious Method to convert Vehicles into DP form using the Crusher, but you shouldn't have any problems.  First of all, I will list all the Missions in GTA III which have a passenger from a Mission in which you can use to convert your Special Vehicles to DP.  Luigi's Girls can be used using Misty to convert the EC Kuruma to DP.  The Getaway can be used to convert the Mr. Wongs to DP as a prerequisite to obtain the BP/EP/FP Cheetah from Turismo.  Triads and Tribulations can be used to convert the BP/EP/FP Cheetah to DP.  Kanbu Bust Out can be used to convert the EC Rumpo and BP Barracks OL to DP.  Deal Steal can be used to convert the BP/EP/FP Bobcat, EC Cheetah, EC Stinger, and EC2 Infernus to DP.  Lastly, Rumble can be used to convert the BP Patriot to DP.  All of these Missions have a passenger in which you can use to convert these Vehicles into DP form and not only that, none of these Missions have to be failed in the process.  You can convert the Vehicles into DP form whilst passing the Missions at the same time.  Some of them like Kanbu Bust Out and Deal Steal can be very tedious and difficult since you have to convert two, up to four Special Vehicles all at the same time whilst passing the Mission.  Another option is using the Mission Liberator to convert another Special Vehicle to DP.  You have plenty of options to pull this off.  I play on PS2 and iOS and didn't have any issues doing my Mobile Save whilst converting all the Special Vehicles to DP form.  To use the Crusher with a Mission scripted passenger is easy.  Just have the passenger in the front seat when you pull up to the Crusher and do exactly as you would do for the other Method I explained above.  Only with a Mission passenger, you don't need to hold any buttons.  Just get out of the Vehicle you want to convert, then hit the button to get back into the Vehicle whilst pulling out the passenger.  The magnet will come down and lift the Vehicle up and then drop it back down to the ground once Claude is sitting in the driver's seat.  You may leave your passenger there or allow him to get back into the passenger seat with you.  Simply take the Vehicle back to a Garage and store it.  After you store the Vehicle, just continue with the Mission as normal and pass it.  If you have to convert more Special Vehicles into DP form, go right ahead.  Rinse and repeat until everything you want is converted and then pass the Mission.  Make note that if you go about converting the BP Barracks OL into DP form, you must chop off the passenger side door before attempting it.  Claude will not be quick enough to get back into the Barracks OL before the magnet touches it resulting in it not working, but if the door is removed it will be no problem.  you fooking w0t m9?'s Video of obtaining the BP Barracks OL already in the Guide shows how this works using Kanbu Bust Out and converting the Barracks OL into DP form using a Mission scripted passenger.

2.6. EC Black FBI Car

Mission: Free Roam After Five Star Wanted Level Is Unlocked

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: -

How to Obtain: This is barely a Special Vehicle, but I am including it in the Guide nevertheless.  This is a Special Vehicle that can be obtained at anytime once the five star wanted level is unlocked and possible to get.  All you have to do is get a five star wanted level any means necessary and be chased by an FBI Car.  The ones chasing you are actually EC Black.  An FBI Car found in a roadblock during a five star wanted level or one that you get from the Emergency Vehicle Crane are not the same color as the ones chasing you, thus are not special.  Just steal one of these EC Black FBI Cars chasing you and lose the five star wanted level by picking up Police Bribes and its yours to keep.

How?  By backing it up on top of the DP/EC2 Infernus.  How else?  It's not hard at all.  GTAKid667 did it.  fnxrak did it.  I did it and several other people who went for all 13 did it, as well. Obviously I take out the DP/EC Cheetah blocking its path before backing the Bobcat up onto the Infernus.  Common sense, really.

To get them all out of the Garage is easy, too.  I just jump on top of the DP/EC Cheetah in the front of the SI Garage and that allows me to open the door of the BP/DP Barracks OL and drive it out.  Next, I can drive out the DP/EC Cheetah, followed by the AP Bobcat, DP/EC Stinger, DP/EC2 Infernus, and lastly, the BP/FP Trashmaster.  In SSV, I can take out the AP Cheetah first by jumping over it and getting inside of it from the driver's side door.  After that, I can take out the DP/EC Rumpo.  Then I just use Claude's body alone to push out the Unique Corpse Manana and once I do that, I can just open the driver's side door of the DP/EC Kuruma and take that out, followed by the AP/EC Stretch and last, the BP/FP Securicar.

I've done GTA III 5 times (4 on PS2 and 1 on iOS) and I've obtained all 13 3 of the 5 playthroughs.  It's really easy to do all this stuff with more experience...

Both my PS2 and iOS Saves are identical.  Only difference is on PS2 my Barracks OL is BP/DP and on iOS it's only BP.  Also, on PS2, I have 78 Mission Attempts whereas on iOS I have 79.  Other than these minor differences, they are exactly identical...

Totally amazing. Are you considering upload all 3D era GTAs PS2 saves someday? Or at least via PM for those who are interested on them, like me.

Nah, I already did that in the past and then had them removed from this Forum and GTAGarage.  I don't like handing them out to anybody.  Anyone has the ability to do this stuff themselves if they wish.  It's all up to the Player to try all of this out on their own.

Instead of posting Saves, I just post the Photos of my Collections as well as the Garage Layouts, etc.

There is now a Special Vehicle Guide made by me for III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, and CW.  Expect a IV and TLaD Guide sometime in the future, as well.

If you want help on doing it yourself, I can assist you, like I do everyone else, but I will NOT post any of my Saves anymore...

As always, keep them coming.  I don't mind if you post all your Videos in this Topic.  Any discussion and Videos is better than none at all.  So feel free to post as many as you want...

Btw, if you want to make the Title, like you did for the VC and LCS Guides of mine, go right ahead.  Just send me a PM with the Title in Photoshop and I will add it into the Guide.

Btw about the guide, i'm pretty sure you don't need to enter the Trashmaster after every mission, as long as you don't drive too many cars.

Just one correction: the Cheetah, the Infernus and the Stinger from "Grand Theft Auto" are brown, if we are to believe the color designations the game provided them with. The Infernus is also fully EC, because the version that spawns in the traffic is of somewhat lighter color. Just check it out once you have time. The problem with the Infernus is that it also uses a livery, although not full, on top of it - and this livery is the black tint you no doubt saw on the hood and on the roof of the car. The bottom is free of this tint.

The Securicars in "Escort Service" and "Decoy" are fully black as well, but as I explained before, because of the livery all we can see is the black trims.

P.S. Notice how the colors are bleached in PC, Xbox and Mobile versions of the game compared to PS2. If PC is explainable, since back in 2001 PCs could not support such profound graphics, the Mobile is somewhat of a mystery to me.

@Arsen, someone in the old Topic on PC posted a screenshot of the Infernus taken from GTA and then one found in Traffic and they were identical.  WildBrick142 also looked in main.scm and confirmed it's EC2 that the Color found in traffic is identical to the one in GTA, but the badges or something were different and that's why it is EC2.  The main primary color spawns in traffic says main.scm.

Purple/Red or Brown, yeah, I was unsure what to actually call these.  They look slightly different depending on the Version, so I couldn't decide what Color to call these.  I will fix the Guide this weekend or after I get home from work.  I am not around as much now, but this weekend I will fix things...

You don't show pushing the vehicles to Shoreside Vale...

Yeah, TEMPORARILY obtaining these Vehicles is easy.  PERMANENTLY obtaining them and KEEPING all 13 is the greater challenge.  I only show Videos in the Guide which show it all.  No point in obtaining a Vehicle and then not showing the most important part, storing them...

Nice guide! I wondered if you will ever make guides for 3 and VC.

If you are talking about Militia, he already made those guides :p

If you are talking about Aldi, he already has a guide on how to obtain the vehicles temporarily.

If you're talking to me, i am currently doing a III guide, and VC sometimes later :p

I know that but I just meant few weeks ago, Militia told me he will make these special vehicle guides for GTA 3 and Vice City (which are posted since 2 days) to replace old ones by lol232 and Aldi. Sorry if my previous posts were confusing but last night I didn't sleep well. Hope that I cleared the confusion now. :p

Yeah, they weren't accurate.  They were outdated and Aldi's was a copy/paste job, which isn't welcomed on the Forum.  I asked an Administrator on the Forum, and said Admin gave me the green light to make them, replacing the other Guides.  Lets be honest, nobody is into it as much as I am.  I am the rightful person to be making the Guides for all the GTA's since apparently by looking at a lot of things and seeing people's comments I know a lot more than them and been doing all of this for years now on multiple Platforms at that, too...

It took me 1 day to make the III and VC Guides.  It took me 3 days to make the LCS Guide.  Just like it taking a short amount of time to reach 100% with Minimum Stats, and all the Special Vehicles.  It's simple these days...

@GTAGuy, but you could of just looked at the Comment above, where I supplied the URL to all the Guides I made under gts. comment.  You gotta read before asking or questioning things.  It's all right in front of you.  I told you this many times in PM.  People don't have to ask me everything.  A simple read over the Topic, or a simple Youtube Search, or a simple Google Search can find ALL the answers you need.  How do you think I got to where I am?  I didn't just wake up one day and know all this stuff and how to do it.  It took years...

You have misunderstood me, just like FR. I KNEW that you made these guides and I DID see that comment you made that listed all the guides you made for rest GTA games. All I was saying is that I wondered few weeks ago if/when you will make these guides for 3 and VC, considering the fact that you always deleted my PMs and didn't want to talk to me...until yesterday (or 2 days ago) when I noticed that you posted these guides, so I made a new PM and start talking about the guides and mobile GTA games. I plan to buy a new mobile soon and get GTA 3, VC, SA and LCS. I am mostly looking forward to play LCS because it will be my very first playthrough and it will be exciting to play a new GTA for first time. But I think I will start playing the games in order, from 3 to LCS.

Now let's get back on topic, please.

Okay, went back to III, changed all vehicles to DP, re-organized them and now my 100% file is complete. I didn't end up using all 13 garage spaces because I didn't end up getting that many special vehicles. So I'm kind of disappointed that I skipped vehicles like the Manana and Trashmaster but there is always next time. Not really that special but I took pics and added them to my profile.

Spoiler

As you can see, I still have like 5 garage spaces left but I'm kind of happy with Staunton. It's so neat. Oh well, it was the first GTA game I got special vehicles in so I guess it's cool.

You'll get better with more playthroughs.  Even if you don't think it will happen, it always does.  I've, as did many other people, said that we were done after the Save and wouldn't do it again, but it always happens again and again, since it becomes addicting to gather all of these up for each GTA and assemble the ultimate Save.  In time, I know you'll get more.  Personally, I wouldn't make "random" Vehicles DP, like the Stinger or even the Lightless Taxi (Glitched Vehicle).  I wouldn't even obtain Glitch Vehicles to begin with due to the storage space.  If this was VC, then it's easy to do since there is 44 spots to store Special Vehicles in VC but only 26 Special Vehicles in the game.  So having those Glitched Vehicles is pretty cool since there is so much storage space to burn.  But with III, and only having 13 spots to fill, I only pay attention to specifically what is obtainable in the game and then pick from them and get ALL the Proof Vehicles and EC Vehicles and make them DP when necessary.  So by doing this, from the list in the Guide, removing all the Inferior Vehicles like the EC Stretch and the EC Securicar, you only have 14 Special Vehicles.  You'd have to choose from either the BP/FP Securicar or the EP/EC Securicar and I'd always go with the BP/FP Securicar.  This is why I obtain ALL 13, minus the EP/EC Securicar since there isn't the space for this 14th Vehicle.

However, it's still a good Save.  The first time I did III, but this was back in 2006, I had the BP Patriot and the BP Barracks OL (Not BP/DP - Crusher Was Unknown at the Time).  But this was when I wasn't so serious.  I only became serious in 2014 to the present.  In the second Save, I got 7 Special Vehicles (AP/EC Stretch, AP Cheetah, AP Bobcat, BP/FP Securicar, BP/FP Trashmaster, BP/DP Barracks OL, and BP/DP Patriot), this was in 2014.  But then in the third, fourth and fifth Saves, I got all 13.  One of these Saves, I had the EC Securicar and not the DP/EC Cheetah.  I've perfected the Save now to have all 13, but also 78 Mission Attempts, with passing for the AP Cheetah.  I used to fail the Mission to obtain the AP Cheetah and I did the same in my Mobile Save (79 Mission Attempts), but on PS2 it can't get any better at this point.  I may do another Save File, though, simply to gather up the EP/EC Securicar as well as ALL Glitch Vehicles and make them DP, of course, minus the Securicar since it doesn't work.  I'll have the space, since I won't be going for any of the current 13 I have...

At least you have the 3 out of 4 best Special Vehicles and most fun in III.  AP Cheetah, AP Bobcat, and BP/DP Barracks OL.  Missing the AP/EC Stretch...I remember this back in 2006 where everyone called it the Everything Proof Stretch and used to obtain it and fly it across the water to Staunton Island.  It was said only obtainable with Cheats.  10+ years later? :D :p

Oh, and I like your Profile...It reminds me of.....MINE! :D :p  Eventually, you'll have done this in all the GTA's.  Give it a couple years...
