The best completion I have got so far is 94%. This was before I discovered that you apparently have to deliver 10 Securicars to the garage on the docks. That is easy if you complete the Portland Import/Export.

Does the percentage towards your total completion change according to when you do a particular mission? I was wondering what could have made up that missing 6% It was surely not just the ten Securicars, was it?

the 10 secuiarcars has nothing to do with 100 precent completion that is optional

You could have missed some missions from kenji if you did donald loves mission but without seeing your save I cant tell you a whole lot

upload it to gtasnp.com and post a link please

Check out the Emergency Vehicle Crane loading area. Even if you have completed it, you had to stay until the final car would be loaded to get the list completion rewards

But he's got 94%...Not 95%.  If it were 95%, it would make sense, since if that is all you need to do in the end, it will say 95% until the last Emergency Vehicle is delivered to the Crane and then it will increase to 100% after getting the Message...

Still, could be the case either way. So why not?

Anyway, to the OP: how manny missions have you got in "Missions Completed" graph in the Stats?
And have you completed:
Patriot Playground
A Ride In The Park
Gripped!
Multistorey Mayhem
Mafia Massacre
Diablo Destruction
Casino Calamity
Rumpo Rampage
100 Taxi Fares
100 Hidden Packages
20 Rampages
20 Unique Jumps?
(These can be easily deduced from Stats)

Check out the Pike Creek Import Garage as well, maybe you missed something there.

Do you have Infinite Sprint?
Do you have Health and Adrenaline pickups at your hideouts?
Do you have a Flamethrower pickup at your hideout?
Do you have 6 Police Bribes pickups at your hideout?

That's all I can help you with.

Another point worth mentioning is that you may be missing some if not all of the Marty Chonks Payphone Missions which can only be started between 09:00 and 19:00 and are also not marked on the radar. The Mission Location is the Payphone outside of the Bitch N Dog Food Factory, near Joey's Garage in Trenton.

I did the Marty Chonks missions early on, because they are a pain in the arse to Claude.

I didn't know that you had to wait until the last exported emergency vehicle is loaded onto the freighter.

I got the credit for the delivery US $1500, or whatever. The emergency vehicles are Police, Fire, Ambulance, SWAT, FBI, Barracks OL & Rhino? It is not marked on anywhere around the base of the crane as far as I am aware.

Those country hick FBI men are the craziest f~~~ers in the game.

The way they hurl their cars at Claude as if he's the John Dillinger of the New Millennium.

Confronting the FBI  requires a location where you can deal with one carload at a time & just hose the bastards with a M16 as soon as they emerge from the car.

When it comes to doing the taxi, firefighter and vigilante missions: Do any of them have to be divided between each island to earn the proper credit?

Yes, the requirements for Vigilante and Firefighter are 20 Kills/Fires on each island to earn the credit for them. You'll have 6 Police Bribes at your hideout when fully completing Vigilante and a Flamethrower for fully completing Firefighter, as well as increasing the Percentage Completed.

I didn't have all six Police bribes, that was probably it.

I have deleted every saved game now, because the Crusher/Taxi glitch is not working. I thought that was because I had used a mission-fail glitch to run about Staunton & Shoreside doing the Firefighter and Vigilante side-missions.

I used the glitches once before to ghost the ambulance, because Paramedic is a PIA at the start. The ghost ambulance is useful because you can drive straight through everything. However, it is a double-edged sword because it plunges through Blue-Hell, which delays it.

You gotta be careful making Emergency Vehicles into Ghost/DP form and saving the game.  It's possible to mess the Save up, since more times than that, you will activate Taxi AND whatever Emergency Vehicle you are trying to convert.  There will be two sets of "blips" on the Map, which if you save the game like that, it probably will screw it up and permanently glitch the Save.  Paramedics Level 12 is easy enough...No need to make a Ghost Ambulance or even a DP Ambulance.  It's pointless.  I like using a DP Taxi when I do 100 Taxi Fares, though.  Saves you from using the Pay and Spray and it's also fun driving like crazy smashing into things while you drop passengers off, lol...

But yeah, using a Ghost Ambulance in the end is probably worse since like you said, it falls through Blue Hell and WASTES valuable time that you need to pick patients up and drop them off...

I want to DP a Taxi for sure and go off to Staunton & Shoreside to do the Firefighter & Vigilante missions. At this point I have just done 'Luigi's Girls'. It is easier than balancing an Idaho above the tunnel to exploit the glitch.

I was told there is a PC-specific vehicle guide by Fnrak, because that video is from something like a Playstation format. Can you search posts by specific members?

Is there anything that will mess up my chances of getting 100% if I broke into the other Islands before I was supposed to. I could go on to do the Portland missions with all the vehicle driving side-missions & all 100 hidden packages. If I exploited the mission-fail at 'Give me Liberty' I can roam Staunton & Shoreside & the Cartel ignore me.

If you do Firefighter without the handling cheat the firetruck handles as badly as you'd expect one with a full tank of water & high c of g. Not having the Cartel foot-soldiers raking you with bullets as you try & control the damn thing is very welcome.

firetruck is a joy, primarily because the firetruck is a battering ram. Once up to speed you can scatter traffic like bowling pins & the cops ignore traffic offences in Liberty City.

Where does GTA3 keep the saved game files?

I want to make sure there is nothing left that is interfering with my new game.

They are located in My Documents in folder GTA3 User Files.

If you want to upload your save file, upload it here: http://gtasnp.com/

You don't need to balance anything.  You just drive on top of the tunnel having the driver's side door facing the Ocean and just open the door and Claude will fall down, but instead of dying, he will be standing on top of the Porter Tunnel.  Then you just run forward for about 10 seconds and jump off, which the game will teleport you into SI.  It can't get any easier...

Yes, you can, but there is no need.  I already told you where to find the Info you need.  It's in the III Special Vehicle Guide a handful of pages back.  He tells how to make Emergency Vehicles DP on the PC Platform...HERE it is...

I don't think so...I believe the Colombians ALWAYS hate Claude, even before Give Me Liberty is passed.  If you go to SI and SSV early, it won't make any difference whether you do it after Luigi's Girls or before Give Me Liberty.  Doing it before Give Me Liberty is just dumb, imo, though, since you fail the Mission, which will add +1 to the Stats, and there is no reason to actually fail it since you're not getting something out of it, like a Special Vehicle or anything...And no...The Save will not get messed up.  Myself, and many, many others have already completed full Starter Saves in III.  I've done it 3 or 4 times on PS2 and 1 time on iOS.  My current Starter Saves on PS2 and iOS are the FULLEST I can reach, which is 53% after Luigi's Girls before any other Story Mission.  Like I said, I've done it a handful of times and my Save is perfectly fine.  Reaching 100% after doing the Starter Save is perfectly fine, too.  It does nothing to the Save.  Using Cheats and Mods, for instance, will probably mess up the Save far worse than doing a basic Starter Save done in normal gameplay.  It's funny some of the Topics in Help and Support Sections.  Always Cheats/Mods causing people's issues...Yet they feel this obsessive need to keep using them :p

Driving like that, will break down the Fire Truck.  This is probably your problem.  Worried too much over the Cartel, which barely shoots at you, period, than worrying about how you drive.  It's the driving in which is f*cking up your Fire Truck in the end.  If you drove normal, you wouldn't even have to worry about the Cartel putting a couple bullets into it.  All they have is Pistols and Uzi's, which are nothing.  In SSV, they have AK-47's, though, mixed with Pistols and Uzi's.  Although, you can easily do Fire Truck 20 Fires in SSV.  Simply take the Fire Truck from the Airport and stay in Pike Creek.  If a burning Vehicle spawns across the map, just cancel the Mission and reactivate it.  By doing this, you can get 20 Vehicles to spawn right there in Pike Creek, right in front of you, and can pass the Mission in like 10 minutes.  20 Fires in Portland, Staunton, and Shoreside need to be done, like 20 Vigilante Kills in Portland, Staunton, and Shoreside need to be done...
