I can see two things: colorable interior (I think so?) and some workaround with extras on the side intakes. Great!

Unfortunately it will not have a colorable interior, instead I will include optional textures which will be different colors. (white, red, black, tan, and yellow)

Ah, ok then. I guess it will be sorta like configuring your car before you buy it. Still good, though.

I think the Infernus Classic looks great and more unique with fixed style headlights.. might be an unpopular opinion but I will enjoy the model either way.

Don't worry, I'm doing three different variants of the non EPM version. There will be one with the pop-up lights down and with the bottom bumper lights as the lights. Then there will be the VT 6.0 variant with the fixed open lights. And finally one with the pop-up lights up permanently, like the Tropos.

 

I understand people have different tastes about this car so that's why I'm doing all of these options. ;)

Holy sh*t, that's like four different variants of one single car. Now that's dedication.

I'll surely pick the EPM'd one, but the VT styled variant also looks neat. Would like to see it ingame.

Hey I got a question for the GTA V players who have the Infernus. How does the engine cover open with the louver extra on? Do the louvers go with the cover when it opens or does it clip through like in my picture? Or does having the louver disable the ability to open the engine cover?

The cover disappears​ when you put louvers on leaving engine bay exposed.

Yup, can confirm this. An excerpt from the carcols.meta:

Whenever any of the louver options are installed, the engine cover disappears. Actually, the first one does exactly that, it just removes the cover, nothing more.

You know, making the interior colorable isn't very difficult. I did it on my Voodoo SS. If you look at my Voodoo's textures, you'll see what I did for the textures. Basically the interior was de-saturated and the details removed and put in their own texture with an alpha channel. The details were then put in a badges material, which was assigned to copies of the original interior and door meshes with all unnecessary faces deleted. I didn't have to UV map anything. I actually spent more time in PS modifying the textures than I did in Zmod making it all work.

I can't get into the Infernus Classic. It takes the shape of a Diablo and replaces the good aspects of it with a Ferrari. I'd probably like the Turismo Classic, but your version of it looks so much better.

Well everyone, I have some great news regarding the Infernus.

Colorable interior!

 

After doing some thinking I figured out the best way to get a color-able interior. The process is a bit like what JoeVK did with his Voodoo. Except instead of cutting out the areas I didn't want colored, I did the opposite and removed the parts I wanted colored. I'm using the livery paint type, with the parts I don't want colored as the "livery" and the default texture with the white parts as the actual paint texture. I didn't have to add anything or modify the mesh, so the file size hasn't changed at all. Pretty nice eh?
