I hoped for some more classic cars, but the current ones are looking good. Infernus is awesome, like I said before. Hope someone gets to fiddle around it :D

(This is my last post talking about the GP1, I promise)

Now that I've seen the car with details, there are some things I don't really like. The default from bumper (I think so) is actually inspired by the F40, and it looks very odd on this car. To be honest I take the LM design over this any day.

Also, look at the doors:

They have no B pillar. Why, Rockstar?

I still want it more than anything else, though.

Also Thunder, I've been doing some testing regarding the CSV thingy and I think my case is isolated, I have way too much lines in the file and I believe I may have reached a limit that can't be avoided with FLA. Some friends of mine told me that the car works well with the lines on their games so I guess I can't add any more lines.

Not a great issue though, they aren't really necessary for the cars to work. However, I might delete the lines of the cars that I barely use.

@Nico

Glad to hear that, I was thinking that's what the problem might have been.

Oh just a FYI, the Dubsta 6x6 is all done. I just have to sort out the readme and do some pics and it'll be ready by the end of the week. I think you guys are going to like it.

I rarely use the vehoff.csv lines that any modder includes, unless the camera positions are way off without them.

And another mod from Thundersmacker is on it's way, and I still haven't done sh*t. On the bright side, The wife and I passed our CCW class and picked up our shiny new CCW licenses today. Now we can pack heat wherever we want. Well, almost. There's still places you can't.

Hey Joe, when/if your hiatus ends, can I bug you to release that badass Slamvan box truck you showed in GCT's thread?

Yeah, once I get off my lazy @ss. That's actually the one project that's the furthest away from being anywhere near finished. Oh, and it's actually a TLAD Towtruck/Steed/Yankee/TLAD Yankee, btw. I planned on giving it both the box truck back end and TLAD Yankee's beat up old stake-bed as extras. I'll probably toss in an actual flat bed for when neither extras are spawned (like IV's Flatbed).

Well guys I have good news. Thanks to GCT, I have been able to look at the models for the new classic cars and they are all excellent. What this means is that I will not have to do the tedious task of making good IV quality models like I did with the Tropos and Omnis.

So with that now known, there are new additions to the convert list on the OP. The Infernus Classic and GP1 are now on the list!

kiglga3.pngAXphemR.png

However there is some bad news, well it's bad news for people wanting these cars right now. With spring now here and the temperatures slowly rising where I live, work the restoration of my 4Runner has started to pick up. So as much as I know you want these cars ASAP, I have to take a break from modding and concentrate on my real car. But rest assured that I will resume work on them when I have free time again.

Can't believe I missed your post. Sounds good. And don't worry about me getting antsy for them. I make mods because I'd love to restore and/or modify real vehicles, but can't afford to. If I could, I'd be out dropping a 383 in my truck, or doing a small-block Chevy swap to my wife's Bravada right now.

I have a cool idea for you Thunder.

What if you took the Ruiner 2000 and give it a late 80s Trans Am look.

Civilian version of course and instead of a sunroof what about T-tops!

I never really was a fan of those Trans Ams, I always preferred the second generation the best. Not to mention that R* didn't do the greatest job on the Ruiner 2000, personally I wish they would have changed a bit more on it then they did. But you never know, I might get bored one day and do a civilian version of the 2000.

Then I guess we have something in common my favorites are the second gen Trans Ams too.

However this car is just sitting waiting to get a touch up.

So why not give it a shot.

But hey think about it. It's just an idea. :)

The Ruiner 2000 could come in handy more for GTAV as it could simply replace the wrecked version which currently serves no purpose whatsoever. If you dont convert it, I hope someone else makes a stock version of it.

The Ruiner 2000 sucks. It's nose doesn't fit the rest of the body at all. R* should have removed the IROC/TransAm-like side skirts and rear bumper lip when they stuck that nose on there, especially considering that KITT was based on the 1982 TransAm, which had no side skirts or bumper lips (they were just Firebirds with a different hood and a few stickers in 1982 and 1983).

You know what would be better than the Ruiner 2000? The 6000 SUX. *Four more thousands and you'll never be attacked by Godzilla or worse ever again with these things roaming the streets.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that I have added a small update to the Cheetah on the OP in the unfinished/beta mods section. I know some of you have been asking about the updated Cheetah seen in a few screenshots, so here you go.

Here's a download link if you are too lazy to go back to the first page. :turn:

I also have changed the logo on the OP since I thought it would be nice to have my more recent mods on there. It's not the greatest logo on the planet but it gets the job done.

Per the first page of his workshop, the changes are new 5-spoke wheels and new headlight textures.

Besides the light textures, it shouldn't be any different from the version that I gave you for your IVPack.

IDK why but the stance looks much better in your pics, in IVPack I feel like the wheels are pushed too much inwards, if that makes sense.

I have noticed a difference between CP's convert and the original stance wise. I not sure how CP converted the car, but maybe he couldn't preserve the exact location of the wheel dummies which could explain the slightly tucked in wheels.

I heard that Zanoza is unable to process V wheels correctly sometimes. Which is why Turismo from IVPack has its rear wheels shifted to the side.

That was quite a lot of fun doing that interview, I appreciate those guys choosing me for a spotlight.

Anyway back to the mods, and I'm starting with a classic. (a recently released classic)

n9XVmGj.jpg

I don't really have any changes planned for this model, it's not bad the way it is now. As far as the pop lights lights go, I'll be making a EPM and a non EPM version like with the Tropos.

The only problem I can see converting this thing is the wheels, specifically the rear wheels. There is a way to get the different offset wheels in the rear but it's a tricky process, so we shall see.

What about the choice of spoilers? Will them (or it, if you only choose one) be extras?

Will the bottom lights be used for the non-EPM version? That would make the car keep true to the 3D Era counterparts (III, SA, LCS) :)

Maybe also replace the non-functional pop-ups with the fixed headlights like on your Cheetah. Just thinking out loud.

I only have the classic Diablo spoiler, and it will be an extra. The parts I'm using that were mods in GTA V will all be extras.

You read my mind. That's exactly what I am planning to do.

Like a VT 6.0?

2001-lamborghini-diablo-vt-60-road-test-

That would be cool as I really liked that car in NFS: HP2, especially the bad ass police version. I'll consider it for a optional file.
