Important Message for PSP Users.  As you may know, there is a bugged mechanism in VCS with the Garages.  They delete anything inside if you don't perform the proper steps which you can read below.  Also make note that this issue was fixed for the PS2 Version.  RationalPsycho explains all of this in detail and how to counteract it on the PSP Version.

Introduction: Under normal circumstances, when approaching a garage, the vehicle(s) stored inside start to load in order to properly be used by the Player; geometry, colours, model variations, properties (immunities etc.), spawn coordinates, everything. Once ALL vehicles are loaded, then, and ONLY then does the garage door open.

The Bug: On the PSP version of the game, there is a bugged mechanism which causes vehicles to load inside garages, even if the Player does not stand in front of them, if ANY of the following activities are performed near one:

Exiting an interior; Safehouses, and, in the Clymenus Suite's case, the nearest Empire Building

- Purchasing a vehicle

- Starting a mission ("Vigilante", "Taxi Driver" etc.)

- Failing/Cancelling a mission

- Completing the "Leap and Bound" mission (101 Bayshore Avenue only)

If one of these conditions are met near a garage, the vehicles stored inside will be loaded and kept in memory, so if you engage in an activity, such as a mission, they will eventually vanish.

How to counteract: It's simple; every time you exit an interior (Safehouse or the Empire Building next to the Clymenus Suite), purchase a vehicle, start or fail a mission near a garage, and pass the mission "Leap and Bound" (in the 101 Bayshore Avenue garage's case), before doing ANYTHING, check the vehicles inside by opening the door and letting it close again, thus reverting the vehicles back to their safe "stored" state. Make note that you don't have to check every single garage across Vice City every time you perform the aforementioned activities, just the nearest one.

The Little Willie: On the roof of the Clymenus Suite, there is an icon that enables you to purchase a Little Willie in exchange for $5000. It is strongly recommended you should refrain from touching it. The reason for this is when buying one, two of the conditions are met which cause vehicles to load inside the garage when they're not normally supposed to simultaneously: Exiting an interior (via the roof) and Purchasing a vehicle, resulting in even more risk to lose your precious vehicles. If you fly atop the roof with a helicopter of your own and attempt to buy the Little Willie, the game will freeze, and you'll get a permanent black "Loading..." screen. If you need a Little Willie, you can get one for free from the Junkyard.

The PS2 version: On PS2, none of these bugs are present, including the Little Willie one, so if you're playing this version, you don't have to worry about any of the aforementioned malfunctions.

1.0. EC Yellow/Green Streetfighter

Mission: Conduct Unbecoming

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: When you start the Mission, Conduct Unbecoming, use the Streetfighter used by Martinez to complete the Mission like normal.  However, on the way back to Fort Baxter to pass the Mission, park the Streetfighter outside of the Army Base as shown in the Video and walk into the Base on foot.  Once the Mission is passed, you will be kicked out of the Army for good, but the EC Yellow/Green Streetfighter will be where you previously left it.  Simply take it back to you new Safehouse, 101 Bayshore Avenue, and store it in the Garage.  This EC Streetfighter can never be found again inside the Army Base from this point forward.

1.1. PP Cholo Sabre

Mission: Cholo Victory

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Cholo Victory, and drive to the Police Station with Phil in the Walton.  After the cutscene, drive to the Hospital.  After the next cutscene when you arrive at the Hospital, you will be instructed to locate the Cholo Sabre.  When you get close to the Cholo Sabre, get out of the Walton as quickly as you can, jack a random Vehicle in traffic, and leave Phil behind while you catch back up to the Cholo Sabre.  Eventually the Mission will fail and once it fails, just do a drive-by on the PP Cholo Sabre.  The driver will slow down, stop, get out, and run away leaving the door open behind him.  Simply get into it and take it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

1.2. FP/PP/EC Pink Perennial

Mission: Truck Stop

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Truck Stop, and get into the FP/PP/EC Pink Perennial provided to you for the Mission.  All you have to do is drive it to the location as shown in the Video and dunk it in the water to fail the Mission.  Once the Mission is failed, just drive it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

1.3. BP/PP Barracks OL

Mission: Truck Stop

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before starting this Mission, you will need to have either a Flamethrower or Molotovs.  Start the Mission, Truck Stop, and drive to the Hotel to pick up some backup.  After the cutscene, you will be instructed to go find this BP/PP Barracks OL.  Simply drive to the location as shown in the Video, ahead of the Barracks OL, get out of the Perennial, and either use your Flamethrower or Molotovs on the Barracks OL to force the driver out of it.  If you're using Molotovs, do not throw them directly at the Barracks OL since they behave like Grenades in VCS and will blow up the Barracks OL.  Just throw them in front of the Barracks OL so that it drives over top of the flames on the ground.  The driver will stop the Barracks OL, get out, and run away leaving the door open behind him.  All you have to do is jack it and drive the BP/PP Barracks OL to the location as shown in the Video and dunk it in the water.  After dunking it in the water, the Mission will fail and you can take it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

1.4. H/PP Barracks OL

Mission: Truck Stop

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before starting this Mission, you will need to have either a Flamethrower or Molotovs.  Start the Mission, Truck Stop, and after picking up some backup at the Hotel, drive to the location of the Barracks OL.  Allow your backup to shoot at it so it comes to a stop.  After the cutscene, Phil will be driving the H/PP Barracks OL and you will be protecting him against any enemies that show up.  Follow Phil and protect him like normal up until you reach the location in the Video at which time you will need get out of the Perennial and either use your Flamethrower on the Barracks OL or throw down some Molotovs in front of the Barracks OL so Phil will drive over the flames resulting in him leaving the Barracks OL.  Once Phil leaves the Barracks OL, get into it and just drive away from the area.  The Mission will fail shortly after you drive away and now you can take it back to the Garage and store it.

1.5. FP/EC Light Orange Bobcat

Mission: Shakedown

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Shakedown, and simply drive the FP/EC Light Orange Bobcat that you are sitting inside after the cutscene back to the Garage.  Park it inside, and simply shoot and kill Marty to fail the Mission.  Once the Mission fails, allow the Garage to close down on the Bobcat.

Video by jam8tone

1.6. EP Vehicles (Four Door Only)

Mission: Got Protection?

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: There is Conversions for Special Vehicles found in III with a DP Conversion, VC with an EC Black Conversion, SA with an EP/FP Conversion, AP Conversion, and EC Conversion, LCS with a DP Conversion and PP Conversion, and now VCS with this EP Conversion for four door Vehicles only and an EC Black Conversion which I will explain about later in the Guide.  Conversions exist for all five of the 3D Era GTA's in the Series and VCS is no exception.  When using this EP Conversion for four door Vehicles, make sure it's a Vehicle that is either EC only or has absolutely no special Properties prior to doing the Conversion.  If it does, they will be erased during the Conversion leaving the Vehicle only EP in the end.  Before starting the Mission, have your desired four door Vehicle parked already in the Garage.  Start the Mission, Got Protection?, and head to Marty's Brothel.  After the cutscene, immediately get the nearby Polaris V8 and drive it back to the Garage to fetch your four door Vehicle in which you want to convert to EP.  Once you are inside your desired Vehicle to convert to EP, drive it to the location as shown in the Video.  You will need to dunk it in the water before the meter runs all the way down and the Mission fails.  When you see the meter almost empty, back up into the water until you see Victor's health going down like you see in the Video.  His health going down indicates that the Vehicle you want to convert to EP is deep enough and flagged as destroyed which will preserve the EP Property.  As soon as the Mission fails and before Victor dies, drive your EP Vehicle out of the water and back to the Garage to store it.

1.7. H/EP/FP/PP/EC Light Brown Walton

Mission: Marked Men

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Marked Men, and after the cutscene, you will be sitting inside a H/FP/PP/EC Walton, without the EP Property.  However, it was recently brought to my attention that if you exit the Walton, then enter it again, the EP Property will be added to it and you can obtain it in H/EP/FP/PP/EC form.  Do exactly like you see in the Video with the added step of exiting and then entering the Walton again before dunking it in the water to fail the Mission.  After the Mission is failed, just drive it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

1.8. H/EC/TD Black Stallion

Mission: Marked Men

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Marked Men, and take Phil to the lockup as instructed and drive into the pink marker.  After the cutscene, some of Martinez's men will come to ambush Phil and Victor.  Simply kill them all and get back into the Walton.  After getting back into the Walton, head to the location as shown in the Video while some of these H/EC/TD Black Stallions follow and chase after you.  When you get closer to the docks destination, look behind you and make sure you are still being tailed by a Stallion or two.  Simply park the Walton close by the pink marker which passes the Mission after going into it and run out into the street where you should find a H/EC/TD Black Stallion just sitting there not moving with a red arrow above it.  All you have to do is jack it and then park it somewhere safe, close by.  After parking the Stallion close by and in a safe place, go back to the Walton and drive into the pink marker to pass the Mission.  Once the Mission is passed, the H/EC/TD Black Stallion should still be where you left it.  All you have to do is drive it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

1.9. FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Quad (White, Blue or Black)

Mission: When Funday Comes

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, When Funday Comes, and drive to the trailer park and into the pink marker.  After going into the pink marker and after the cutscene, a Quad Race will begin.  All three of the opponent's Quads are FP/PP/TP/EC/TD White, Blue, or Black and any one of them can be obtained.  At the start of the Race, do like you see in the Video and simply block off an area of the Race so that when the opponents come around, they will get stuck.  You can use your own Quad as well as the nearby Regina and/or Bobcat as shown in the Video to block off the area.  However, don't stay off your own Quad longer than 30 seconds or the Mission will fail.  When the three opponents come by, they should hopefully get stuck and if they get stuck for about 10 seconds or so, they will stop racing all together and just sit there.  After one of them gets stuck, all you have to do is shoot the driver dead and immediately get onto his Quad and accelerate forward a bit before the Mission fails and the screen turns black.  After the Mission fails and the screen turns black, you will still be on the FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Quad of your choice and now just drive it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

2.0. EC Chrome Red Quad

Mission: When Funday Comes

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: The Video shows how to get this EC Chrome Red Quad while failing the Mission, but it's not necessary and you can pass the Mission and obtain it.  Simply start the Mission, When Funday Comes, and drive to the trailer park to start the Quad Race.  You're given this EC Chrome Red Quad to complete the Quad Race in, so simply come in first place and after the Mission is passed, you'll still be driving it.  Take it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

2.1. AP VCPD Cruiser

Mission: The Audition

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Coming Soon...

Video by Lennart -

2.2. PP Cuban Hermes

Mission: Nice Package

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: The Video shows how to get this PP Cuban Hermes while failing the Mission, but it's not necessary and you can pass the Mission and obtain it.  At the start of the Mission, Nice Package, you will already be sitting inside the PP Cuban Hermes.  All you have to do is complete the Mission like you normally would and maintain possession of the PP Cuban Hermes until the end of the Mission when it's passed.  After the Mission is passed, you will still be driving the PP Cuban Hermes and the PP Property will have been retained.  Simply drive it back to the Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

2.3. FP Cuban Hermes

Mission: Papi Don't Screech

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Papi Don't Screech, and simply complete the Mission.  The Video will show a Mission Failure Method but it's not needed.  Just pass the Mission and you'll still be driving the FP Cuban Hermes.  Take it back to a Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

2.4. PP/EC/TD Green Pony

Mission: Havana Good Time

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Havana Good Time, and drive to the warehouse.  When you arrive at the warehouse, simply take out the handful of guards protecting it.  After the cutscene, protect Umberto's guys while they load up the guns in the PP/EC/TD Green Ponies.  After killing off all the ambushing Cholos, another cutscene will take place and then you will be instructed to get into the PP/EC/TD Green Pony.  After getting into the Pony, drive to the location as shown in the Video watching out for any attacking Cholos that are following after you.  When you get to the location, simply dunk the Pony into the water to fail the Mission.  After the Mission has been failed, drive the PP/EC/TD Green Pony back to a Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

2.5. FP/EC Cream Pony

Mission: Money for Nothing

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Money for Nothing, and get into the Sentinel and drive to the decoy.  When you arrive, you will see a blue arrow on top of the FP/EC Cream Pony.  All you have to do is kill Lance to fail the Mission and then get into the Pony and drive it back to a Garage.

Video by jam8tone

2.6. BP/FP/EC/TD Light Blue Pony

Mission: Money for Nothing

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Out of the three obtainable Special Vehicles found in the Mission, Money for Nothing, this is the best one.  Start the Mission, Money for Nothing, and get into the Sentinel and drive to the decoy.  When you arrive, get into the Pony with a blue arrow above it and drive to the warehouse.  After the cutscene takes place at the warehouse, you will see two Ponies sitting side by side.  The BP/FP/EC/TD Light Blue Pony is the one that Lance is sitting in.  Walk up to the side of the driver's side door like it shows in the Video and simply shoot and kill Lance.  As soon as the door opens and Lance's body falls out, quickly get inside the Pony and accelerate forward a bit before the screen turns black and the Mission fails.  If done quick enough, the screen will turn black, the Mission will be failed, and you will be sitting inside the BP/FP/EC/TD Light Blue Pony.  At this point, just drive it back to a Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

2.7. PP/EC Light Blue Pony

Mission: Money for Nothing

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Money for Nothing, and just complete the Mission up until you're instructed to lose the Cops.  At this time, collect a couple Police Bribes to lose the Wanted Level and pass the Mission.  You'll still be driving the Pony so just take it back to a Garage and store it.  The Video shows a Mission Failure Method but it's not needed.

Video by jam8tone

2.8. EC White Comet

Mission: Leap and Bound

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: The Video will show how to get this EC White Comet with failing the Mission, but it's not necessary and can be passed while obtaining the EC White Comet.  Start the Mission, Leap and Bound, and drive to the location where you will get a good vantage point to watch over Lance making the deal.  Use the binoculars to keep an eye on the deal and eventually you will be instructed to chase after Lance.  Jump down off the roof and get into the EC White Comet provided to you in which you will use to chase after the Boat that Lance is on into Viceport.  After the cutscene when you arrive into Viceport, simply take the Comet back to a Garage before making your way onto the Freighter or you can leave it nearby as it should remain there after making it off the Freighter.  Once you store the Comet in a Garage or leave it close by in a safe place, use another Vehicle to jump onto the Freighter and go through the Mission like you normally would by saving Lance and getting off the Freighter.  Once the Mission is passed, just take the Comet back to the Garage or go back to the Garage and open, close, open, and close the Garage to acknowledge the EC White Comet is still inside.  When you take a Special Vehicle from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the Garage is not actually acknowledging the Vehicle.  So if you would save the game and then reload the game without checking on it in the Garage first, it would disappear.

Video by jam8tone

2.9. UH Freeway

Mission: The Bum Deal

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: During this Mission you have the opportunity to obtain all three UH Bikes at the same time and pass the Mission.  Start the Mission, The Bum Deal, and head over to the White Stallionz Bar.  When you arrive, simply take out all the Bikers outside the Bar and then head into the Bar and continue to kill all the Bikers inside.  After killing off the Bikers, leave the Bar and head back outside.  Outside, you'll see a Freeway, Wintergreen, and Ventoso sitting there.  All three of them are UH.  Simply take one at a time back to a Garage and after storing one, just return to the Bar and take the next.  If you only want one of them, you can just finish the Mission using that UH Bike.  If you want two of them, you can park one of the two inside a Garage, and then finish Mission using the second UH Bike.  If you want all three, park two of the three UH Bikes inside a Garage and then use the third UH Bike to finish the Mission like normal.  When you're ready, just drive into the pink marker and after the cutscene takes places, you will be instructed to take out Forbes.  Chase him down and simply kill him to pass the Mission.  Once the Mission is passed, take your UH Bike that you finished the Mission with back to a Garage and store it but at the same time check on your other one or two UH Bikes and confirm them in the Garage by opening, closing, opening, and closing the Garage to acknowledge they are inside.  When you take a Special Vehicle from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the Garage is not actually acknowledging the Vehicle.  So if you would save the game and then reload the game without checking on it in the Garage first, it would disappear.

Mission: The Bum Deal

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 2.9 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this UH Wintergreen.  In 2.9 of the Guide, I explain how to get all three obtainable Special Vehicles from The Bum Deal and pass the Mission at the same time.

3.1. UH Ventoso

Mission: The Bum Deal

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Consult 2.9 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this UH Ventoso.  In 2.9 of the Guide, I explain how to get all three obtainable Special Vehicles from The Bum Deal and pass the Mission at the same time.

3.2. FP/EC White Sentinel XS

Mission: From Zero to Hero

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, From Zero to Hero, and after the cutscene, you will already be sitting in the FP/EC White Sentinel XS.  All you have to do is drive it to the location near the stadium as shown in the Video and dunk it in the water to fail the Mission.  After the Mission is failed, just drive it back to a Garage and store it.

Video by jam8tone

3.3. H/PP/TP/EC Sky Blue Sentinel XS

Mission: From Zero to Hero

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: The Video will show how to get only the H/PP/TP/EC Sky Blue Sentinel XS, however, it's possible to get the Sentinel XS as well as the H/PP/TP/EC White Bobcat from the same Mission at the same time and only fail it once.  In fact, getting both at the same time is probably less time consuming than getting one at a time and failing the Mission twice for each.  The idea to obtain both of them at the same time was brought to my attention by LeonTheKiller and I've tried it and confirmed it to surely be possible.  I will be explaining the Method to get both the H/PP/TP/EC Sky Blue Sentinel XS and H/PP/TP/EC White Bobcat at the same time while only failing the Mission once in the process.  Make note that these are probably the most time consuming Special Vehicles in the entire game and if don't have patience, then you probably won't succeed at getting them.  Start the Mission, From Zero to Hero, and drive to the docks in Little Haiti.  When you arrive in Little Haiti, take out all the enemies while protecting Lance and the Barracks OL's.  After the cutscene, you will be instructed to follow Lance.  Follow him until you reach the location as shown in the Video, right before turning left onto the bridge and then get out of your Barracks OL.  If done correctly, Lance will stop at the start of the bridge and remain there, however, turn your attention to behind you as a Sentinel XS and Bobcat should be following you.  All you have to do is jack the Sentinel XS or the Bobcat and kill the driver and passenger and do the same for the other.  Once both drivers and passengers are dead, you'll be in possession of both the H/PP/TP/EC Sky Blue Sentinel XS and H/PP/TP/EC White Bobcat.  This next part is where it gets tricky.  Like shown in the Video, drive either the Sentinel XS or Bobcat onto the ledge next to the bridge, and then use Victor's body to push one of them into the water hoping it lands right side up.  If it lands upside down, just reload and try again.  You'll be doing this for both the Sentinel XS and Bobcat.  If you pushed both the Sentinel XS and Bobcat into the water and they landed right side up, it should look like this:

Spoiler

Once both Vehicles are in the water as shown above, then it's time for the time consuming part.  You'll need to push both the Sentinel XS and Bobcat through the water all the way until you reach the dock in Viceport.  The Mission will eventually fail as you get farther away from Lance on that bridge.  Since the Sentinel XS has more surface area to push, make sure the Bobcat is in front of the Sentinel XS.  This will surely take you over an hour, so have patience.  Push them both at the same time like shown in the Video with the Sentinel XS.  Despite having two Vehicles to push, it should take practically the same exact time as if you were only pushing the Sentinel XS.  Don't worry about the Oxygen Meter dropping as all you have to do is swim on top of the Sentinel XS to make it regenerate to full again.  When you finally get both the Sentinel XS and Bobcat back to the docks in Viceport, push both of them out of the water and then double drive both the Sentinel XS and Bobcat back to a Garage.  To double drive them, drive one of the two Vehicles up the road a bit, then run on foot back to where the other Vehicle was left and drive it to where the first Vehicle was driven to.  Rinse and repeat until both of them are back to a Safehouse and store both inside a Garage.  If you managed to obtain both of these Special Vehicles at the same time, then congratulations!  It's one of the greatest tasks in the entire game.

3.4. H/PP/TP/EC White Bobcat

Mission: From Zero to Hero

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Consult 3.3 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this H/PP/TP/EC White Bobcat.  In 3.3 of the Guide, I explain how to get both the H/PP/TP/EC Sentinel XS and H/PP/TP/EC Bobcat at the same time only failing the Mission once.

3.5. FP/PP Barracks OL

Mission: From Zero to Hero

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Consult 3.3 of the Guide as it's the exact same Method to obtain this FP/PP Barracks OL.  The FP/PP Barracks OL is the one that you are given to drive while following Lance.  When you approach the bridge as shown in the Video, simply drive the Barracks OL off the small ramp in front of the bridge and land it right side up in the water.  Once it lands in the water, immediately get out of it before the screen turns black.  After the screen turns black, you will be teleported back on land and the Mission will have failed.  However, the FP/PP Barracks OL will still be in the water.  Just jump back into the water and push it to the docks in Viceport.  When you get there, push it out of the water and drive it back to a Garage and store it.  It's practically identical to how I explained to obtain the H/PP/TP/EC Sentinel XS and H/PP/TP/EC Bobcat.

3.7. EC Grey and Pink Maverick

Mission: Accidents Will Happen

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is one of two Special Vehicles in the Guide that will require the use of OM0 (On Mission = 0) in order to obtain the Special Vehicle.  First, go to the Empire Site as shown in the Video and move the Vehicle in front of the Empire Site closer to the nearby Rampage Icon.  What you want to try and do is blow up the Vehicle and then once the explosion takes place, go into the Rampage Icon.  Timing is everything, so if it doesn't work properly, just reload and try again.  If you were successful, both the Empire Attack and Rampage will be running all at once.  Simply leave the area of the Empire Site being careful not to get killed by the attacking Gang and allow the Attack to eventually fail.  Once the Empire Attack has failed, only the Rampage will be in progress, but you will be able to start another Mission.  While the Rampage is counting down, drive to the Film Studio where Reni's Mission, Accidents Will Happen, takes place.  Allow the Rampage to get to about seven seconds or so remaining and step into the pink marker as shown in the Video.  Once you see that the Rampage is failed, make sure you are spamming the X button to skip the cutscenes.  If you don't do this, the game will crash or freeze.  If you do it properly, the game will spawn two EC Grey and Pink Mavericks instead of one.  One of them will fly away as intended and another one will just be sitting there.  All you have to do at this point is shoot the Infernus until it catches fire and blows up which will result in the Mission failing.  After the Mission fails, the EC Grey and Pink Maverick will be left there and you can get inside of it and fly it back to the Clymenus Suite Safehouse and store it in that Garage since it's the only place the Maverick can be stored due to its size.  Unfortunately, later on in the Mission this very same Maverick is actually AP/EC, but is unobtainable.  Alternatively, you can obtain this EC Grey and Pink Maverick along with the H/EP/FP/PP/EC Chrome Red Infernus at the same time and only failing the Mission once.  Instead of shooting the Infernus and blowing it up to fail the Mission, just fly the EC Maverick back to the Clymenus Suite Safehouse and store it in the Garage.  Then return to the Film Studio and get into the Infernus and do what I explained in 3.7 of the Guide and like you see in the Video of 3.7.  After the Mission fails, drive the Infernus back to a Garage and store it and confirm the EC Maverick is still inside the Garage by opening, closing, opening, and closing it to acknowledge it.  When you take a Special Vehicle from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the Garage is not actually acknowledging the Vehicle.  So if you would save the game and then reload the game without checking on it in the Garage first, it would disappear.

3.8. H/EP/FP/PP/EC/TD Chrome Red Infernus

Mission: Accidents Will Happen

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Accidents Will Happen, and get into the H/EP/FP/PP/EC/TD Chrome Red Infernus with the blue arrow on top of it which is provided for you to use during the Mission.  As soon as you get into it, just drive it to the docks location as shown in the Video.  All you have to do is dunk it in the water, however, making sure it's rather deep.  Make sure to stay deep in the water until you get the Mission Failed screen and at that time, just drive it out of the water before Victor's health reaches zero.  Once it's out of the water, just drive it back to a Garage and store it.

3.9. H/AP Jetmax

Mission: The Colonel's Coke

Difficulty: *** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: This is one of the newest discoveries in VCS.  Apparently it has been missed all of these years and nobody found out that it had such Properties and was available to obtain all along.  Start the Mission, The Colonel's Coke, and do it like you normally would up until the final cutscene takes place prior to the Mission being passed.  Make sure to skip the final cutscene since that is what seems to make this H/AP Jetmax become obtainable.  Skipping the final cutscene and passing the Mission afterwards seems to make the Jetmax appear in the water behind Victor.  Just turn around once the Mission is passed and jump into the water and aboard the Jetmax.  Simply take the Jetmax to the location you can see in jam8tone's Video to obtain the AP Yola from 4.0 in the Guide.  Once you get to this location, beach the Jetmax like you would the AP Yola and push it back to the Clymenus Suite Garage.  It's possible to push it with Victor's body alone.  Using Vehicles won't work since it's Heavy and it won't be moved.

4.0. AP Yola

Mission: Unfriendly Competition

Difficulty: *****

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Unfriendly Competition, and drive to the Drug Runner and his bodyguards.  After taking them all out, continue on to the next Drug Runner and bodyguards which will be at the Hotel.  After the cutscene, be careful and as best you can, take out all of the bodyguards behind the Hotel.  They all have AK-47's and can very easily kill Victor.  It doesn't help that they not only spawn once in their place, but up to three times, so try and kill them all without dying.  After killing them all, a cutscene will take place where the Dealer is getting onto a Quad and will make a run for it on the beach.  Get onto the other Quad as shown in the Video and follow the Dealer closely, but don't get too close or his bodyguard will shoot Victor.  Eventually, a Maverick will show up with more bodyguards hanging off the side with AK-47's.  You'll need to time it just right where you can get off the Quad and quickly kill all of them off the Maverick and then get back onto the Quad and continue following the Dealer.  If the Dealer gets too far away, the Mission will fail, so you have to be very quick and efficient with this part.  If you manage to take out the bodygaurds on the Maverick, then it won't be a threat to you anymore.  Continue to follow the Dealer and eventually you will get a message saying to not let the Dealer reach his speedboat.  This is the AP Yola!  Follow the Dealer until he gets off his Quad along with his bodyguard.  At this time, kill both of them like shown in the Video and the Mission will be passed and the AP Yola will be just sitting near the shoreline in the water.  Aboard the AP Yola and drive it to the location as shown in the Video.  When you arrive at this location, you're going to have to beach the AP Yola and then using Victor's body or random Vehicles from traffic to push it back to the Clymenus Suite Garage.  Once it's pushed back to the Garage, just get it inside and save the game!  If you managed to obtain it, then congratulations.  It's one of the more tricky Special Vehicles to obtain in VCS.

4.1. BP/FP/PP/EC Black Stretch

Mission: Kill Phil

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: The Video will show how to get this BP/FP/PP/EC Black Stretch with failing the Mission, however, it's not necessary and you can pass the Mission and get the Stretch.  Start the Mission, Kill Phil, and simply do it like you normally would until it's passed.  Once the Mission is passed, you will still be driving the BP/FP/PP/EC Black Stretch and can just take it back to a Garage and store it.

4.3. PP/EC Navy Blue Flatbed

Mission: The Exchange

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Despite being inferior to the already H/EP/FP/PP/EC/TD Navy Blue Flatbed in 4.4 of the Guide, I am including it since it doesn't require the use of OM0 to obtain it.  If you're not into such Methods using OM0, you can still obtain this PP/EC Navy Blue Flatbed but it won't be H/EP/FP/TD, obviously.  Start the Mission, The Exchange, and get into the Van as instructed and take the drugs to the meeting point in Downtown.  After the cutscene, simply use the Sniper Rifle to eliminate all of the enemies and then another cutscene will take place.  After, get into the PP/EC Navy Blue Flatbed with the blue arrow above it and instead of driving it back to Diaz' Mansion to pass the Mission, just drive it to the docks in Viceport as shown in the Video.  When you get to the docks in Viceport, simply dunk the Flatbed in the water and allow the Mission to fail.  Once the Mission fails, exit the Flatbed and use Victor's body to rotate it to make it easier to get out of the water.  Once you get it out of the water, just drive it back to a Garage and store it.

4.4. H/EP/FP/PP/EC/TD Navy Blue Flatbed

Mission: Farewell to Arms

Difficulty: ** and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: This is two of two Special Vehicles in the Guide that will require the use of OM0 (On Mission = 0) in order to obtain the Special Vehicle. While the Rampage is counting down, drive to Diaz' Mansion where you will start the Mission, Farewell to Arms.  Allow the Rampage to get to about one second remaining and step into the pink marker as shown in the Video.  The Rampage will fail while Farewell to Arms is starting up.  Skip all the cutscenes and as soon as you are able to control the gun from the Maverick, aim it at Gonzalez' Flatbed and shoot it until it blows up.  The Mission will fail and you will be standing close by the pink marker where the Mission usually starts.  Just go down the stairs and you will see the H/EP/FP/PP/EC/TD Navy Blue Flatbed just sitting there with a blue arrow above it.  Get inside and drive it back to a Garage and store it.  After it's stored, the blue arrow will disappear.

4.5. EP/FP PCJ-600

Mission: Burning Bridges

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Burning Bridges, and as soon as you get control of Victor, turn your attention to the right.  The Mission removes all of your weapons that Victor had prior to starting this Mission, so you'll have to pick them all back up.  Once you pick up your weapons, draw your attention to the Maverick that Lance is shooting at.  Simply shoot and kill Lance to fail the Mission and all you have to do is run straight forward through the fuel depot and you'll find the EP/FP PCJ-600 just sitting there.  Get onto it and drive it back to a Garage to store it.

4.6. AP/EC2 Sentinel XS

Mission: So Long Schlong

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, So Long Schlong, and don't allow any of Mendez' bodyguards to infiltrate the Film Studio.  Eventually after killing a whole ton of bodyguards, Reni will send Victor a text message stating to come help near the Malibu Club.  All you have to do is allow Reni's health to drop all the way down and die, which will fail the Mission and allow you to obtain the AP/EC2 Sentinel XS.  Drive to the location as shown in the Video and just park there while you wait for Reni's health to deplete.  Once the Mission fails, just go into the compound and jack one of the AP/EC2 Sentinel XS's sitting there and take it back to a Garage to store it.

4.7. EC Chrome Red and Yellow Comet

Mission: So Long Schlong

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass

How to Obtain: The Video will show how to get this EC Chrome Red and Yellow Comet with failing the Mission, but it's not necessary and you can pass the Mission while obtaining it.  Start the Mission, So Long Schlong, and don't allow any of Mendez' bodyguards to infiltrate the Film Studio.  Eventually after killing a whole ton of bodyguards, Reni will send Victor a text message stating to come help near the Malibu Club.  Drive to the compound and take out the bodyguards attacking Reni.  After killing them, a cutscene will play and Victor and Reni will be placed in a Sentinel XS and instructed to drive Reni to the Hospital.  Instead of doing this, however, exit the Sentinel XS and go to where the EC Chrome Red and Yellow Comet was sitting inside the compound.  Just use the Comet to take Reni to the Hospital instead of the Sentinel XS.  After taking Reni to the Hospital, the Mission will be passed and all you have to do is drive the Comet back to a Garage and store it.

4.8. H/EC Black and White Boxville

Mission: Domo Arigato Domestoboto

Difficulty: ****

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Start the Mission, Domo Arigato Domestoboto, and drive to the Fire Station in Downtown to fetch a Fire Truck.  After you get a Fire Truck, drive to the Ammunation also in Downtown and simply enter it, then exit it.  For some reason, going into this interior and back out again will make the H/EC Black and White Boxville appear to be lighter and easier to push.  If you don't go into this interior, it apparently won't be able to be moved off the ground where it's sitting in front of the Mendez Mansion on Prawn Island.  After entering and exiting Ammunation, drive your Fire Truck to Prawn Island and park it in a safe location off to the left of the bridge on the sidewalk.  Run on foot to the Boxville and start pushing it to where your Fire Truck is waiting near the bridge.  This should only take you about 20 minutes and it's really not that bad.  When you get the Boxville to the proper location, it should look like this:

Spoiler

Once the Boxville is where it needs to be, use your nearby Fire Truck you brought with you to push the Boxville into the water which will result in the Mission failing.  After pushing the Boxville into the water, it should look like this:

Spoiler

Notice the passenger side door is sticking out of the water.  All you have to do at this point is enter the H/EC Black and White Boxville through the passenger side door and then carefully drive it out of the water.  The hardest part about obtaining this Boxville is actually pushing it into the water and driving it out of the water.  You don't want to push it in too little or else the Mission won't fail and even if it does, the Boxville may have a chance to lose the H Property in the process.  If you push it in too far, then you won't be able to drive it out of the water after the Mission fails.  Driving it out of the water can also be tricky since there is an annoying lip at the top of the hill that the Boxville can easily get stuck on.  Furthermore, from pushing the Boxville into the water with the Fire Truck, the Fire Truck will have done some damage to it and only after colliding with a couple more objects, the Boxville will already be on fire and about to blow up.  Carefully get it out of the water and then drive it back to a Garage and store it!

4.9. EC Black Vehicles (Almost Anything You Want)

Mission: In the Air Tonight

Difficulty: **

Pass or Fail: Pass (If Converting One Vehicle) / Fail (If Converting More Than One Vehicle)

How to Obtain: This Mission, In the Air Tonight, has the possibility to convert practically any Vehicle into EC Black.  It's also now the second Conversion in the Guide.  With this Conversion, you may use Vehicles in which have Properties already on them.  Once the Conversion is done, all original Properties the Vehicle you are converting to EC Black had will remain.  They won't be deleted in the process like how the first Conversion in the Guide was like where you could convert four door Vehicles into EP form.  For instance, the AP Sentinel XS that you can obtain from So Long Schlong is a worthy Special Vehicle to convert to EC Black and once converted, it will be in its ultimate form of AP/EC Black.  Theoretically, it could be possible to convert up to 12 Special Vehicles at the same time, one after another, and then pass the Mission, however, this is very difficult and you'd need to be lucky.  I've only converted one and then passed the Mission once it was converted.  Start the Mission, In the Air Tonight, and get into the Washington parked at the Hospital and drive Reni and yourself back to one of the three Garages to fetch a Special Vehicle in which you want to convert to EC Black.  Be careful when getting your Vehicle out of the Garage since if you or any other Vehicle bumps into Reni, he will more than likely die and the Mission will be failed.  This is one of the many reasons converting a bunch of Vehicles all at once can be tricky and not ideal.  A lot can go wrong and it's usually Reni doing dumb things which causes you to fail the Mission very easily.  Once you have the Vehicle in which you want to convert to EC Black, drive Reni and yourself to Downtown to the grassy location as shown in the Video.  You want to try and get a Black Sentinel XS filled with enemies to follow you to this location.  Allow the enemies to get out of the Sentinel XS while you run away on foot while looking backward at your Vehicle.  Eventually the enemies will stop chasing you and instead will enter your Vehicle and try and drive off to come after you.  The moment they simply touch your Vehicle, it's automatically converted to EC Black.  The only downfall is that the Vehicle will be scripted to be smoking heavily as soon as the enemies enter it.  The moment you see the Vehicle turn EC Black, just run back to it and jack it from the enemies.  Kill them all and then shoot and kill Reni to fail the Mission.  Just carefully drive your converted EC Black Vehicle back to a Garage and store it.  Rinse and repeat if you want to continue to convert more Special Vehicles into EC Black.  To pass the Mission whilst converting your final Vehicle into EC Black is similar.  Do as I explained and like you see in the Video up until the Vehicle is converted to EC Black and you get it back from the enemies.  Simply allow Reni to get inside with you and then drive the converted Vehicle back to a Garage and store it.  After storing it, just jack a random Vehicle and take Reni to the Airport and then continue on with the Mission like normal until it's passed.  Once passed, go back to the Garage and confirm the Vehicle by opening, closing, opening, and closing the Garage to acknowledge the Vehicle is inside.  When you take a Special Vehicle from a Mission while the Mission is still on and not passed or failed, the Garage is not actually acknowledging the Vehicle.  So if you would save the game and then reload the game without checking on it in the Garage first, it would disappear.

5.1. EP/FP/TP Vehicles (Admiral, Glendale, Perennial, Rumpo, and Landstalker)

Mission: Fire Truck Side Mission

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before obtaining any of these EP/FP/TP Vehicles, make sure Fire Truck Level 15 is passed.  If it's passed, then you won't get any extra Mission Attempts added to the Stats when you activate the Fire Truck Side Mission which these EP/FP/TP Vehicles come from.  Simply activate the Fire Truck Side Mission and go to a burning Vehicle.  All the Vehicles found in which you are putting the fires out are EP/FP/TP.  All you have to do is put out the flames on the Vehicle and then allow the next blip on the radar to appear where the next Vehicle is on fire and then cancel the Mission.  After canceling the Mission, just get out of the Fire Truck and jack the Vehicle that was previously on fire in which you put the flames out.  It's EP/FP/TP and you can now just drive it back to a Garage and store it.  Rinse and repeat to get all five possible EP/FP/TP Vehicles that exist.

5.2. FP Vehicles (Washington, Greenwood, Securicar, Moonbeam, Oceanic, Squalo, and Speeder)

Mission: Empire Site Side Missions (Robbery Only)

Difficulty: ** and **** (Squalo and Speeder Only)

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: These FP Vehicles come from the Empire Site Side Missions.  These are found in the Robbery Business Missions.  Make sure that you max out the Respect on the Robbery Business Type Missions and finish all the Missions that relate to Robbery before obtaining any of these since the game will add extra Mission Attempts to the Stats unless the Robbery Business Type's Respect is maxed out.  Since each FP Vehicle has a separate Method in order to obtain it, it's probably best to just watch the Video of the one you are interested in obtaining than to read what I have to say.  All of them are pretty standard and simple to get except the FP Squalo and FP Speeder since they are Boats and will take more effort to get them back to the Garage and store them.

5.3. EC Orange BF Injection

Mission: Beach Patrol Side Mission

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Pass or Fail

How to Obtain: If you want to pass the Mission and obtain the EC Orange BF Injection, simply activate Beach Patrol and complete up to and pass Level 15.  After you pass Level 15, you will still be driving this EC BF Injection.  Just drive it back to a Garage and store it.  If Beach Patrol is already passed, you can also obtain it and can do so by canceling Beach Patrol.  As long as it's passed already, no extra Mission Attempts will be added to the Stats.  Once you get into the EC BF Injection and then cancel the Mission, you can just drive it back to a Garage and store it.

5.4. H/WP Sanchez

Mission: Beach Patrol Side Mission

Difficulty: * and 1/2

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before obtaining this H/WP Sanchez, make sure Beach Patrol Level 15 has been passed so it won't add any extra Mission Attempts to the Stats when you have to activate it again to obtain this Sanchez.  Simply activate the Side Mission, Beach Patrol, and drive to where one of the Sanchez' are tearing up the beach.  Stop the BF Injection so you aren't too close to the Sanchez and use either a Sniper Rifle or M249 from a distance to kill the guy riding the Sanchez.  After, just cancel Beach Patrol and claim the H/WP Sanchez and drive it back to a Garage to store it.  If you are too close to the Sanchez when you kill the guy riding it, the H/WP Properties will be deleted.  It's always best to check if the Sanchez kept its Properties by driving it into the water like shown in the Video.  If it falls through Blue Hell and respawns back on land, then it's WP and kept the H/WP Properties.  If it's not WP, then it lost both Properties and you'll have to reload and try again.

5.5. UH/FP/PP/EC/TD PCJ-600 (White or Black)

Mission: Turismo (Bike Races)

Difficulty: *

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before obtaining a UH/FP/PP/EC/TD PCJ-600, make sure the Turismo Race has been passed so it won't add any extra Mission Attempts to the Stats when you have to activate it again to obtain this PCJ-600.  Before you start this Race, make sure you have a Sniper Rifle.  Start the Side Mission Bike Race, Turismo, and head to the starting line where you will find three PCJ-600's.  All three of them are UH/FP/PP/EC/TD however only the White or Black is EC.  Simply pick the one you are interested in obtaining and just walk up to the side of one as shown in the Video and use your Sniper Rifle to shoot the driver in the head.  Once he dies, quickly get onto the Bike and accelerate forward.  After the screen turns black and the Mission fails, you will be sitting on the UH/FP/PP/EC/TD PCJ-600.  Just take it back to a Garage and store it.  It's vital that you accelerate forward after killing the driver.  If you don't, Victor won't be in possession of the PCJ-600 after the Mission fails.

5.6. FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Race Vehicles (Stinger, Cheetah, and Infernus - Black or Blue (White Is Only Special for the Infernus)

Mission: Turismo West (Rum and Spicy Salsa) / Turismo East (Fools Rush) / Turismo East (Supercharged Circuit)

Difficulty: * (Stinger) *** (Cheetah) ** (Infernus)

Pass or Fail: Fail

How to Obtain: Before obtaining a FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Race Vehicle, make sure the Races have been passed so it won't add any extra Mission Attempts to the Stats when you have to activate them again to obtain these Race Vehicles.  Before you start these Races, make sure you have a Sniper Rifle.  Depending on which FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Race Vehicle you are interested in obtaining, all three of them have a varying level of difficulty.  Also, the Videos below show the PSP Method to obtain these three Race Vehicles.  What you see in the Videos will only work on PSP and not PS2.  Since I play on PS2, I will be explaining the PS2 Methods of how to get these three FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Vehicles from the Races.  If you are playing on PSP, just watch the Videos straight away and jam8tone will give you all the information and tips in order to obtain them on PSP.  To obtain the FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Stinger, both PS2 and PSP Methods are identical.  Start the Turismo West Race, Rum and Spicy Salsa, and head to the starting line.  When you arrive, just stand aside the driver's side door of the FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Stinger of choice (Black or Blue is only EC) you want to obtain and use your Sniper Rifle to shoot the driver dead.  As soon as he falls out of the Stinger, immediately get inside of it and accelerate forward.  After the screen turns black and the Mission fails, you will be sitting in the FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Stinger.  Just take it back to a Garage and store it.  It's vital that you accelerate forward after killing the driver.  If you don't, Victor won't be in possession of the Stinger after the Mission fails.  To obtain the FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Cheetah, start the Side Mission Crash! and then immediately cancel it.  Start the Turismo East Race, Fools Rush, and head to the starting line with the Coach and line it up so it's blocking the Cheetahs path and then jack any random Vehicle from the street and ram one of the Cheetahs to start the Race.  What will happen is the Cheetahs will become stuck and if they remain stuck for a few moments, they won't continue the Race anymore.  At this point, carefully using the Coach, push the Cheetah of your choice (Black or Blue is only EC) to the Ocean and submerge it in water.  Snipe the driver dead to fail the Race and then push the Cheetah out of the water and drive it back to the Garage.  To obtain the FP/PP/TP/EC/TD Infernus, start the Side Mission Crash! and then immediately cancel it.  Start the Turismo East Race, Supercharged Circuit, and head to the starting line with the Coach and line it up so it's blocking the Infernus' path and then jack any random Vehicle from the street and ram one of the Infernus' to start the Race.  What will happen is the Infernus' will become stuck and if they remain stuck for a few moments, they won't continue the Race anymore.  At this point, carefully using the Coach, push the Infernus of your choice to the water south of where the Race started near Lance's Condo and submerge it in the water.  Snipe the driver dead to fail the Race and then push the Infernus out of the water and drive it back to the Garage.

Great guide, but it's a real shame that there's no Unique vehicles in this game

True.  There is no Unique Vehicles in VCS, like there is in III, VC, SA, and LCS, but I am not bothered by it.

The selection of Special Vehicles in VCS is very boring to me and a lot of them are too easy to obtain, as well.  But all in all, it's still a fun GTA and some nice Special Vehicles to be found within.

There is actually quite a few UNOBTAINABLE Special Vehicles in VCS like an EP Seasparrow, H/AP/PP/WP/UH Biker Angel, AP/EC Maverick, and more.  I wish one day these will be obtainable! :)

Yes, duping works on VCS as well, here is how to do it:

Works on PS2.

Hell yeah!  Holy sh*t...I seriously hope we can obtain some Special Vehicles in VCS that are unobtainable.  Like in From Zero to Hero?  The Barracks OL that Lance is driving is H/AP, I think.  If something like that could be obtained, I'd easily do a 4th Save File for VCS and get some of the stuff...

He tested duping stuff, like skipping missions what are not for us, we need to start mission then start it again obtaing vehicle then die, this will cause both missions to fail, we don't want to complete missions since they will skip other missions.

Yeah, that's true.  All of the Special Vehicles thus far that used these techniques in SA required a Suicide.  I'd imagine it would be the case in LCS and VCS, too.

Anyone got any ideas for the H/AP/PP/WP/UH Biker Angel or the AP/EC Maverick?  If these could be obtained, I'd do a 4th Save File for VCS and get them, plus some others I didn't get yet, like the FP/PP/EC Pink Perennial and such...

I may be wrong, but I believe the punk Perennial from "Truck Stop" is also EP, and it retains its EP and FP properties after passing the mission. I would need to confirm that, as I do not remember for sure, yet I remember having it stored in my garage with a unique property after passing a mission.

Yeah, as you can see, EVERY Video besides the H/EC Black/White Boxville is from jam8tone, so I only can say what he has said.  However, some of his Methods involved failing, even though you can pass, like for Reni's Yellow/Red Comet in So Long Schlong.  His Video shows failing, but I can assure you, you can pass for it.  Every time I KNEW it can be passed, I stated in the written description, but most Vehicles do require a Failure.  That's why I am lenient with failing IF AND ONLY IF it's for a Special Vehicle.  Special Vehicle > Stat, in my case, but I try to just do it all.  Meaning get all the Special Vehicles, even if they require a Failure, but pass for everything else in the game.  Lowest Mission Attempts in VCS is 113, like LCS.  I have like 121 Attempts and things like that, only failing for the Vehicle in question and if I could, I got multiple at once, like the H/PP/TP/EC Sentinel XS and H/PP/TP/EC Bobcat in From Zero to Hero.  Did all that for ONE LESS Mission Attempt in the Stats.  I see no reason to NOT do it, cuz if you get ONE of them and not BOTH, it still takes a good 45 minutes to an hour or so to push it across the Ocean to the Docks.  Pushing the Bobcat alone is a lot worse since barely any surface area, like the Sentinel XS has to push.  That one was LeonTheKiller's Method.  He told me about it a long time ago in another Topic and did it when I did my VCS Saves.

If the Perennial is also EP, let me know!  Very interesting.  However, I doubt it, cuz jam8tone always tests the properties after obtaining it in his Videos and Molotovs explode a Vehicle, similar to Grenades in VCS, so he didn't throw any too close to the Perennial when showing the properties.  It MIGHT be EP, but I doubt it.  When you confirm report back please! :)

All right, I will. Might take several weeks before I have time to get down to VCS, but when I do, I'll tell.

Also, this one I know for sure, Sentinel XS cars driven by Mendez's goons in "Light My Pyre" are black. To fetch one, you have to force crash one of their cars into a wall and then stop near them and exit your vehicle. They will also exit their vehicle and begin shooting you. Alternatively, you can take one of the cars blocking the mansion entrance. Just do not forget to check the garage after the mission is over.
Although it is inferior to the black Sentinel XS from "So Long Schlong", as it has no proofings, I guess it is worth mentioning too.

Yes, this is true.  I didn't include it in the Guide since there is an EC Black Conversion with "In the Air Tonight."  Also, In the Air Tonight has EC Black Sentinel XS's chasing after you and Reni, as well, just like "Light My Pyre."

Also the So Long Schlong Sentinel XS is only AP.  I just converted it to EC Black in my Save with "In the Air Tonight" EC Black Conversion :D :p  AP/EC Black > AP

What I'll need to check out as well is Phil's limo from "Kill Phil". During my playthrough, it retained the BP property after I passed the mission (didn't check FP or PP).

I guess the reason is jam8tone playing a PSP version of VCS and me playing a PS2 version, which can have some more subtle changes in-between apart from those we already know of, special vehicles included.

After Kill Phil it's only BP/EC (maybe BP/PP/EC), but DEFINITELY NOT FP.  You can also buy a Stretch at Sunshine Autos and that is BP/PP.  Also Kill Phil Stretch is EC Black.  I am not sure if the one you can buy is also EC Black...

I talked to jam8tone in PM here on the Forum last February 2015, but unfortunately he hasn't been on since and also hasn't had any updates to his Guides on Youtube in the past year, either :/  He told me he PURPOSELY fails the Mission.  His goal is obtaining it, easiest method involved.  So he is CHOOSING to fail when it can even be passed.  For instance, he fails "When Funday Comes" for the EC Quad YOU ARE DRIVING.  Why?  Just pass the Race and you're still sitting on it.  Idk why he does some Methods like that...

Now, with the Race Vehicles, this is exclusive to PSP as what you see in his Videos.  If you go to the West Island and return to the East Island with the Sandking, as shown in his Videos, the Race Vehicles are NOT upside down, which adds complications to obtaining them on PS2.  It takes a LONG TIME for the FP/PP/TP/EC Cheetahs.  It took me 2 hours to get that one and I got it twice now.  The Infernus isn't too bad, but still takes a lot longer than the PSP Method.  At the starting line of the Races, on PSP the Vehicles are upside down and slide like butter when pushing them, and you don't have to be as gentle.  With these on PS2?  It's a nightmare.  You gotta be super gentle.  One "big" bump, Race starts, and you must reload and try again.  Since they are not upside down, either, they are semi "stuck" on the ground since the parking brake is on.  It takes a long time to get that Cheetah, but I wanted all the worthy Special Vehicles in VCS, so I had to do it.  For me, I got the best 36 in VCS.  I could do another Save, but only if more is discovered.  There is a lot of EC and FP Vehicles I don't have yet, but comparing these EC and FP Vehicles to what I have currently, I feel I got all the good and challenging ones in the game already.

Yes, those seem like a nightmare. I didn't bother with the racing vehicles, although I wonder what happens if you manage to "catch" one of those vehicles after the race is over, as in, do they retain their properties.

Regardless, next time I play VCS, I will check out FP ability on Phil's Stretch after I pass the mission.

jam8tone states verbally in his Race Vehicle Videos that after ONE Lap, they lose their properties.  So unlike the Race Vehicles in LCS, which you just wait at the finish line and then push them to a ditching location to push them into the water, this can't be done in VCS :/

Yeah, I feel like there is a still a lot of mystery still left in the Stories games, so anything will be helpful, really...

Also, this might interest you since I know you also like the Starter Saves.  49.20% can be achieved in VCS right after Soldier before any other Story Missions:

I would like some advice on which vehicles to get during my next VCS playthrough. I'm not doing 3 different files, so I want to pick those which are of most use, while at the same time trying to avoid those that require mission failure (although I might consider getting an AP Sentinel XS). I prefer bikes to cars, yet at the same time, I doubt cunching up space with, shall we say, 5 heavy bikes from "The Bum Deal" will be necessary.

Here is a draft of what I am going to get.

Bayshore Avenue:

  • Martinez' Streetfighter
  • Quad bike from "When Funday Comes"
  • Phil's Perennial from "Truck Stop"
  • ? (Open to suggestion)

The Compound:

  • Some motorbikes from "The Bum Deal" (quantity not ascertained yet)
  • White Comet from "Leap And Bound"
  • ? (Open to suggestion)

The Clymenus Suite:

  • Phil's Stretch
  • Reni's Comet
  • AP Sentinel XS (?)
  • Boxville from Domo Arigato Domestoboto.

Will be grateful for any feedback, advice and suggestions. Thanks.

Don't forget (since you play PS2) that you can buy a BP/PP Sanchez and BP/PP Ventoso.  To make them more special, convert them to EC Black like I did in my 3rd Save File.  I personally wouldn't of cared for these, unless they were EC Black and that's why I converted them.

Converting many Vehicles to EC Black all in the SAME Attempt of starting In the Air Tonight IS possible, but not probable.  Sometimes they kill Reni or Reni will do something stupid and get bumped by a Vehicle and die, etc, etc.  So making many Black Vehicles at once and then passing the Mission can be tricky.  Plus, every time the Hitmen jack your Vehicle, which makes it Black, it will emit black smoke and a few bumps back to the Garage can set it ablaze.  I personally pass on the FINAL Black Vehicle I am converting, but when converting multiple, I just fail the Mission over and over.

Also, some of the ones you named require a Failure, I believe...Or maybe I am reading it wrong.  That Boxville, I suppose you mean just EC form and not H/EC form which is much harder to get and worth it in the end, in my case.

Also there is no Heavy Bikes in VCS, but the H/WP Sanchez from Beach Patrol.  You can pass Beach Patrol Level 15, and then save and come back and do it again and fail the Mission (Won't add into the Stats) and obtain this if you want.  The Bum Deal Bikes are UH and not Heavy...

You can obtain a FP/PP/EC Black or whatever color you want PCJ-600 from a Race, as well.  Pass Race, THEN fail it (Won't add to Attempts).  These are simple, like the FP/PP/TP/EC Stingers since you can snipe the driver, get on quickly, and drive forward.  After the screen flips black, you will be sitting in/on said Vehicle still and it's yours.  Only the Cheetah and Infernus from the Races is a bitch to obtain and more so the Cheetah...

Btw, just so you know, 113 Mission Attempts is the lowest you can get in VCS.

Trivia Time:

73 in III

88 in VC

162 in SA

113 in LCS

113 in VCS

About the mission attempts - that I know, I've played each of these games a dozen times over. Only so, for reason unknown, I have 89 Mission Attemps in VC by the end of the day - no mission failures whatsoever...

Didn't know those bikes from "The Bum Deal" aren't heavy... They act like heavy though... Smashing other vehicles out of the way...

About the Boxville: I meant the simple EC version, requiring no mission failure... Unless there is a more valuable substitute.

I would also prefer to refrain from vehicles that can be gotten more than once (racing vehicles, Firefighter vehilces, Sanchez from Beach Patrol, purchasable vehicles) up until the very end of the game (provided I have any space left), since they are not "one-times" like the Storyline mission ones.

That happened to another guy I talked to.  He is also OCD about the Stats and also had 89 Attempts in the end, but then later re-did the game, and got 88.  Despite the game saying "Mission Passed!" after doing the Shooting Range, you did NOT pass it unless you gain the fast reload ability.  That could be where you went wrong, too.  It doesn't matter if it says Mission Passed! and gives you the money.  It's NOT passed unless the fast reload ability is achieved with scoring more than 45 points on the FIRST GO.  I have 91 Attempts in VC on both PS2 and iOS and I can account for my failures: EC Black Washington, BP/EP/FP Squalo, and BP/EP/FP Sabre Turbo.  I didn't have to fail for the Washington, though.  If I passed, I would have 90, but since I failed, I have 91...So I am 10000000000000000% sure 88 is the lowest possible...

When I drive those UH Bikes around and run into a Vehicle, I go flying off the Bike.  I don't think they are Heavy, but if they are, that is very interesting and I need to load up my Save and try them out to see if they are Heavy since I have all 3.

Yeah, I am the same way.  I like going for as much as I possibly can from the Story Missions, which aren't replayable unless you start a new game and then save the Side Mission Special Vehicles for the end.  ALL 12 of the Black Vehicles in my 3rd Save File are Side Mission Special Vehicles.  11 of the 12 were converted to Black and that PCJ-600 was Black already from the Race.  Most of them came from Firefighter, since there exists EP/FP/TP Vehicles and the Empire Site Jobs, which exist FP Vehicles.  I made these EP/FP/TP/EC Black and FP/EC Black in the end.  That's why I saved these sorts of Vehicles for my THIRD Save, since they are all from Side Missions.  Btw, the 3rd Save is a "continuation" of my 2nd Save File.  All I did was got up to In the Air Tonight (Around 97.?? - 98.??%) and then saved the game in Slot 4 (Slot 1 is Starter Save and Slots 2 through 4 are 3 100% Saves with 12 Special Vehicles in each) and simply emptied the Garages of what I got in the 2nd Save File and then obtained all these Side Mission Vehicles and then used In the Air Tonight to make them EC Black and then passed In the Air Tonight, Last Stand, and Skywolf and I was yet again 100% without having to do the entire game over.  So technically, I only did 2 Saves from 49.20% using the Starter Save and the 3rd Save I started with 97-98% or so lol...

I did the same thing in LCS.  I'd work my way up to The Shoreside Redemption and then save in a new Slot, then obtain Side Mission Vehicles and convert them all to PP and then pass TSR as well as The Sicilian Gambit and I was yet again 100% with 12 Special Vehicles in the Save and didn't need to do the entire thing over again.  5 of my 7 LCS Saves were from 48%, but 1 of the 7 was at 98% when I got the 12 Vehicles for the Save.  There was another Save where I didn't care to convert any to PP and just got Side Mission Special Vehicles on an ALREADY 100% Save.  If you play it smart, it can save you time in the end doing it like that, instead of starting over at the beginning, or from the Starter Save.

But yeah, there is only so many Bikes/Quads in VCS that can be obtained, and especially with passing, so you will have a very slim selection since you don't want to fail any Missions...In general, as you can see, most Vehicles in all GTA's require a Failure to obtain them.  Only a small selection can be passed and usually if you want to pass and get it, it involves a much harder method to getting it.  That's why I don't mind failing for them when I have to.  I KNOW that most require a Failure and since I like Special Vehicles more than perfect Stats, I get them.  But it's not like I fail a Mission and then try the Mission again.  I reload.  I literally ONLY fail for a Special Vehicle.  Not failing a Mission WITHOUT getting something out of it, and then saving over the failure.  I don't do that.  Only for the Special Vehicle I will fail and save over it...

I guess it can be the Shooting Range in VC that gives me an extra Mission Attempt. Will check it out the next time I play VC.

I also like to keep failures to minimum - and apart from that, in all games I have 0 busted, 0 wasted, no cheats, minimum Pay'N'Spray usage (save for III, since it doesn't register anyway), $0 spent on weapons in all games (save for III, again), high Days Passed In Game/Safehouse visits ratio (save for III, once more), relatively fast times to achieve 100%, relatively high Criminal Rating etc. I also go for some singular records like Dirtring time in VC, 61 Kickstart best score (didn't achieve it yet), all Gold medals in schools in SA, 40 points in Scrapyard Challenge, but little else. I don't really care for record times that much.

Yeah, I am pretty much the same way in all the GTA's about the Stats.  The only difference is I am 100% WILLING to fail for a Special Vehicle, whereas you rather only obtain the non-failure Special Vehicles and in regards to SA, I am also 100% WILLING to fail + suicide for some of them that require it, in which there is quite a few, especially with a lot of these new discoveries as of late, in which require a suicide to get them as there is no other way to fail the Mission besides Wasted/Busted.  I keep it universal.  I won't get wasted and then get busted for another.  I will just keep the Busted to 0 and increase the Deaths, instead, or vice versa.

SA is the only GTA in the ENTIRE Series that is like that.  Every other GTA can fail the Mission without a Suicide...

Anyways, back to VCS Special Vehicles.  If you need to know anything else, let me know.
