I've seen it now. They've released LCS a good few weeks ago for iOS devices (Android and Amazon are still on the way). Remember how R* had previously said that LCS and VCS would both remain Playstation exclusives? It's broken now. I think that with LCS out it'll possibly lead up to VCS too. I would love to see it remastered. My favorite Grand Theft Auto with shadows and all that other good graphical stuff. It would also be great because my trusty PS2 broke down last year and now I have no way to enjoy it. What do you think? Will R* give us VCS and when in the future?

I think they will release them for Android and IOS Devices. I however still want a PC release of both LCS and VCS. Although it's very doubtful I hope Rockstar have something up their sleeve.

I'd love to see it come to mobile following the re-release of LCS, it's been a long time since I last played VCS and I'd definitely pick it up. I think it's certainly more probable to release later this year now that LCS has been released for iOS and the Playstation Exclusivity no longer seems to be there.

Of course it'll happen.  I've thought LCS, VCS would always be ported over, but I never knew when and how long it would take to have it released.  Now that I see it happened, I know VCS will be released, probably sometime this year and also in time, I could even see the HD Era ported over, but it'll be a while until that happens...Years...

...And my least favorite of the 5 3D Era GTA's (III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS).  Still want to get it for iOS, though...

Was an amazing experience. I played this and LCS hundreds of hours. Other handheld games never had me hooked like this simple of excellence. Hoping for a future port onto PC even though it's a bit ambitious thinking

some Smartphones have 4GB ram these days, so its not that unlikely to see IV on Mobile, if they port it right

It's still quite a big task though. If you include episode's from liberty city as well then that would almost double it. I doubt people will want 1 game hogging nearly half their space if anything I think it will be a console port to current gen & PC with better frame rate and graphics

It's true that some Smartphones can probably handle GTA IV as of right now, but I will give it 5-10 years and say it BETTER be on Mobile by then, no questions asked.

But yeah, first things first...Lets gets VCS to Mobile.

If it's anything like the travesty that LCS Mobile is, no thank you.

Why would you want IV for mobile?

The game is janky enough as it is but Imagine how it would feel with touch. (Asuming we still have touch controls in the future)

Now don't get me wrong the game is good enough but I don't think it would work because the controls are very janky even on controler (Though it works fine when you get used to it.)

Answered your own question.  IV is no problem for me anytime I boot it up, regardless of taking a long time off from playing it or not.  It's not bad.  Like all GTA's, you get used to it.  No reason why it would be any problem on Mobile.

already got it for PS3, but I am sort of waiting to see if a PS4 port will happen, although if it does maybe several of the many glitches need to be fixed, and maybe a PS4 exclusive vehicle with some extra side missions. otherwise it won't have much to entice the casual GTA player who won't want to spend £10 on the same game but for a different console.

for some reason, I don't think R* will bother, the stories games aren't given the same platform as the main games are.

Yes, I'd like an iOS/Android port of VCS, as long as it's not done like the port of LCS with stolen textures from modders.

He actually has a point. The mechanics (shooting ones specially) in IV are much more complex than the ones in the 3D era, thus it's hard to guess wether it will be playable or not.

They didn't release VCS last year doubt it whether we will get it in 2018 cuz GTA 4 10th anniversary is near.
Weird that Rockstar left out the last 3D era game.

VCS wasn't released on iOS/Android due to useless port of L.A. Noire for Nintendo Switch. There're low chances that VCS gonna be ported on mobile platforms in the nearest future.

Im aware that reason why VCS is not on mobile is licensing issues with with soundtrack.

VCS had plenty famous tracks(Even Phil Collins concert and missions) and this not gonna be cheap.Maybe if there was Sony exclusivity, this covered also soundtrack.

Rockstar rather cut that song, that buy license again. They are so cheap and lazy.

How well did the mobile port of LCS do? If it didn't meet their sales expectations, it's entirely possible that they probably figured nobody would care about VCS and that it wouldn't be worth porting.
