What's wrong here?

I installed GIMS EVO in 3DS MAX 2017 but when it loads gta v core it get stuck on the last part (resource names) and it crash my 3ds max, what i do?

What's wrong here?

I installed GIMS EVO in 3DS MAX 2017 but when it loads gta v core it get stuck on the last part (resource names) and it crash my 3ds max, what i do?

 

You read system requirements for GIMS and see that it doesn't support max 2017.

 

i wan to update my mod. before i can export this file less then 1min. now i wait for 30min still not complete export.. sorry for my english

That's  interesting...can you send that max scene to me?

i have seen one guy using it on 3ds 2017 ()

but ok, it seems that i'll need to download 3ds max 2016 ;-;

MAX 2017 is a lottery. I don't know why GIMS doesn't work properly in it, and I can't test it yet.

Also when a material is a multi/sub object how i convert them to gims v material without removing the texture?

You don't need to convert anything.

If you're gonna edit them, GIMS material editor will do everything needed anyway.

But i can't set collision materials in GIMS Material Editor liek in GIMS IV, i need to go to 3DS MAX Material Editor and Convert them to GIMS V Material and set the collision type of the textures.

Hi man, that is my videotutorial about the basic knowledge to create ydr objects. Did you read the description?

When I did that video, I used 2017 and worked fine with non-complex objects but not with peds. In the description I recommended to use 3ds Max 2012 to 2016 versions.

I always use the Student license from my antique college to get 3ds Max with my Autodesk account, no cracks.

Actually I'm using 2016 version for GTA V without issues and 2012 if I have to do something related to GTA SA or GTA IV modding.

What's the question here? Yes, you set shader parameters manually through GIMS material editor.

because when i import model from hd cj & payday 2 ballistic armor,

gims evo crash message (opps,something wrong)

1) Read about hair textures earlier in this thread.

2) I don't see any reflection issues here.

3) GIMS supports everything, but it naturally has some bugs. One man can't make an ideal program.

Trying to work with Max Payne 3 models, how would I get the skeleton to work in that game? OpenIV doesn't have the option to export the .wft files as .skel files.

I don't think you need that for MP3. I believe there weren't such weird skeletons...

1)for bump map (clothes) or grass? (ped_alpha)

2)glass become weird when im moving something glass texture become other texture

3)okay,i know is not easy make an ideal program

 

what is ped_default?can you explain

1) Some person had hair\eyelashes issue like yours, and he found the solution. You can find it in this thread.

2) May be, you have reflection\environment texture on them, which's being reflected?

 

4) well, that's one of ped shaders, I guess...can't tell you more.

Hai, what's the flag to make the model static in the game ?
Im doing a race map, but when I shoot, or drive on the model, it falls down..

Don't worry, found flag 268574752, worked well.

 

@3Doomer, @quechus13, please guys, could you upload again that Embed Textures script ? I really need it..

 

I want to do something like this, because it's a pain to select one by one texture to the GTA V materials converted...

It does work on 3d max 2017 I used it on 2017 one thing I think it would be great if when it loads up for the first time it should load up and , it should make a cache so it just loads from there instead of loading up again , and again every time it starts or everything the script runs cause it takes about 5 to10 mins just to load up before these updates it would take about between a half and hour to a full hour so it seems to get faster and faster every time but making a cache would and should help with boot time
