(Yes, will have the option of pasting the lines manually)

I reviewed some tutorial details to make it clearer and recommended the option of using a higher number (as 300) instead of increasing it to 211, 212 etc.

Doing so doesn't cause any problems (but don't overdo using 9999 etc, after all, everything costs a bit of ram)

 

Therefore, you simply configure the .ini leaving a "space" empty of about 100 vehicles and then you no longer have to worry about re-edit the .ini, just install the files and lines.

Actually pretty easy and simple.

I hope a day it will be possible with weapons! We need more weapons in GTA SA, the actual number of weapons is quite small, and Ryosuke's Weapon Limit Adjuster is unusable...

It became possible with the FLA.

Change the name of the car?

Do you mean it "rolled" & "flipped" after spawned? I got this problem when spawning my added cars, also bikes...

It not spawns, I tell it goes under the ground because when I try to spawn added trailer on the ground it not spawns but when I try to spawn from high it spawns,roll and then go under the ground why this happening,I tried but everytime I was failed.

I've found the cause & solution:

explain: I spawned my cars in game, then I alt+tab to edit the .txt: deleted the lines of cars. Then went back to the game, and what did I see: the cars that i had spawned before went under the ground!
2) The car "rolled" and "flipped" (my issue) -> I forgot to set Apply handling patch=1.

Man an strange thing is happening when I am using the handling line that I added the trailer roll and go under the ground but when I replace the artict2 handling line with this and change the handling name in vehicle.ide the trailer works perfectly. Does you think that I am doing any wrong thing or this is a glitch?

But anyway my trailer is working and I am happy.

But, what is your trailer file name? artict.dff or artict3.dff?

You said you replaced artict2 handling to you trailer's and it works -> probably due to wrong handling of your trailer!

But, what is your trailer file name? artict.dff or artict3.dff?

You said you replaced artict2 handling to you trailer's and it works -> probably due to wrong handling of your trailer!

Hi,

 

I did everything that you said to do in your tutorial but my game freezes at the loading screen and crashes when I press a key. It only happens when I set the apply handling.cfg patch to 1.

 

However when I set it to 0 the game works. But I have to use Alexander Blade's MoreVehicles.asi to get my game to not crash when the loading bar appears. 

 

Also I have 3 custom vehicles. 2 boats and 1 car. I know the handling.cfg lines are working because all 3 vehicles work as they should when I replace vehicles in the game so it isn't the lines themselves.

 

But the downside is that the boats fly off when they hit the water and the cars wheels are up inside it because the apply handling.cfg patch is set to 0.

 

So I must be doing something wrong with fastman92's limit adjuster since the vehicles spawn when using MoreVehicles.asi and with the apply handling.cfg patch set to 0. 

 

So if you can please help me with this. I can upload my files and send you the link if needed. I just need to find out what I am doing wrong.

 

Anyways please get back to me when you can about my issues and how I can resolve them.

from what I understand, the name of your vehicle doesn't appear on the car spawner? Make a new file (text document) leave it blank and save as an fxt file. After that open the fxt file with notepad and then do this:
"INGAMECARNAME" •SPACE• "NAMEYOUWANT"
for example: my in game car's name is "chiron"
So I put "CHIRON" •SPACE• "Bugatti Chiron" and then save. If that wasn't actually the answer that you needed then i'm sorry but to those who have this type of problem I hope I helped.

You need to do every one of his steps. Try to understand even if ut's hard make sure you set everything he mentioned to "1" not just the handling patch and if it still doesn't work try to uninstall the mod you mentioned.

I did everything he said. Everything works as it should. All the models spawn with no issues. All the vehicle sounds and etc it all works. The only issue is that when I set the apply handling patch to 1 it crashes my game on the loading screen. But if I don't set it to 1 the game works fine. But the handling don't work because of the handling patch being set to 0 and not 1 as it should. 

 

Now I am not sure if it is the version of fastman92's limit adjuster that is the problem or what the hell is up. Because I have the latest version of his limit adjuster which is 4.0. And I have read that some versions have bugs and cause the game to crash when using certain settings. The handling patch being one of these bugged settings. So maybe that is why? If anyone knows please let me know.

About vehs name in .fxt files, I got the same problem like you, but... finally I managed to fix it.
This must be the cause: the limit of letters in file names.
For e.g I put the name for Infernus.dff, which has 8 letters. As normally the line should be set as below:

INFERNUS Honda NSX
doesn't work? Ok. :p

But this line actually fixes, very effective:

INFERNU Honda NSX
just by removing the letter S at last of name, then it will appear "Honda NSX" in game. :p :p
Why? Here's my explanation: Open your vehicles.ide, u will see that some vehs have missed letter(s) (usually 1,2 letters) at end of filename in Gamename section of their line --> this is the main problem
->> Solution: the file names in .fxt must be the same with the ones in Gamename section of vehicles.ide lines. Here's an example:

"AMBULAN Help me!!!"
not
"AMBULANCE Help me!!!" as Ambulance.dff, because:


ID. DFFName TXDName type HandlingID Gamename ...
416 ambulance ambulance truck AMBULANCE AMBULAN ...


(Keep your eyes at Gamename section!)
(sorry I don't remember exactly the line, just an example)

then it will appear "Help me!!!" in game. ;)

The GXT keys have can have a maximum of 7 characters.

@fastman92, I already resorted back to replacing cars in the game instead of using custom ones. But I will add them all back and send you the crash log That way you can tell me what the hell I am doing wrong. I can also upload my mod and let you look at it and see what I did wrong if that would help. But if not then the crash log works. Just let me know on that.
