The Tempesta is perfect, the only bug I found was that the rear tires leave dual tire marks. It sucks that you can't have different wheel meshes for the rear with out the game thinking it's a dually.

GCT, I found a little problem with the Torrence. It turns out that, if I add the car with its correspondent data for the vehOff.csv file, the game crashes on loading screen. Tried without the csv lines and the game works fine, and I can spawn the car. Exactly the same thing happens with Thunder's Ocelot Lynx.

Ow s*. I had not even noticed these marks. What did you do for Zentorno to have bigger rear wheels?

In Torrence there are no problems in my game since the lines are originally from the intruder. I just renamed to torrence and the bonnet lines were changed. Try to use Thunder Interceptor lines or rename the vehicle. Check the lines. Check the integrity of the lines to see if there is anything out of place.

I actually like how this turned out, I think R* did a decent job with this one and it's nice to see that they gave non PC players an F40 to play with. That said I'm not converting it to IV as I already have my Turismo, so this is a pass.

GCT, could you please?

Well. At the moment I'm happy with the version of Thunder Turismo, but who knows someday I'll bring it to IV. First I have to get the update

I just made the back wheel collisions larger but it is using the same wheel mesh as the front, I do the same thing on all of the cars that have bigger back wheels.

I believe JoeVK knows a way around that dual tire mark bug. His Rancher Lowride mod doesn't have the bug and the truck has different wheel meshes for the rear, so you could try asking him how to do what he did.

I have already fixed the rear wheels following the steps of the JoeVK tutorial in Openformats. Now I need to increase the width of the rear wheels

AgenBlaze on GTA4-Mods gave a link in a comment somewhere to a tutorial on gta-real.com for fixing the double tire marks, done by SkyDaRk.

I sort of translated it from a shoddy google translation of the page. So what I gather from the poorly translated tutorial, basically what you do is this:

1)Separate the wheels from the tires and make sure the tires are still named [wheelmesh_lf] and [wheelmesh_lf_l1].

2)Make copies of the wheels without the tires and put them into the appropriate wheel dummy heirarchy and position them where the wheel should be for each of the dummies and name them "disk1, disk2", etc. So you'd have disk1_L0, disk1_L1, disk2_L0, disk2_L1, and so on.

3)Then make sure the wheels (disks) are positioned so the front is facing the driver side. If I understood the poor translation, you should mirror the axes but not the geometry. I don't remember if that's how I did it or not.

I.did the wheels on my Rancher Lowride using that method. Some additional tips are:

The width and diameter of all of the wheel meshes must be the same as the fronts, otherwise the tires won't fit the wheels, and they'll both be in incorrect positions. The ingame width and diameter is controlled by the wheel collisions scale.

In my Rancher Lowride's case, I scaled all of the wheel and tire meshes and collisions to what I wanted the front to be, then scaled the rear wheel meshes and collisions to the width and diameter I wanted them, made the changes I wanted to the rear wheels (moved the spokes inward for a deep-dish look), then scaled the rear wheel meshes back down the same amount I scaled them up and left the rear collisions alone. Also, I made a copy of the tire mesh and scaled it along with the rear wheel meshes when I scaled them larger, so I could make sure the whole wheel/tire package was what I wanted them, then deleted the tire mesh copy when I was done.

You can also use this method to have each wheel mesh be different, like directional wheels where the the spokes all lean towards the rear of the car, or having a different texture on each wheel.

Here's the pics from the tutorial I found (you can see he has different wheels on each corner):

Ok, I have been doing some testing with the Torrence's CSV lines and found exactly the ones that cause crash.

I tried to check if there's wrong values, but to be honest I have no clue about what could be wrong.

EDIT: After doing some testing with Thunder's Lynx as well, I reached the conclusion that my issues might be related to the amount of lines I have in my vehOff.csv file. Other people told me that they have no issues with these lines, so it must be an issue in my end only and I may have reached a limit.

@JoeVK: I saw this method, but in my case it was the rear tires that needed to be different. I tried doing this but instead renaming the tires to disk1, 2, 3, 4 but so do not burst in game.

Lamborghini-Hurcan-Right-Side-30064.jpg?

Like a Huracan rear tires profile, but I found the solution leaving the whole rear wheel larger using openformats

@Nico :  I think it would not be these lines even they were taken from the Intruder. Only in green have been edited

I started the 90's Youga:

Screenshot17767.jpg

Screenshot20522.jpg

It has a cargo van and wagon version as extra parts, I worked on the Rebla wheels and I modified the mudguards, I still lack some details like liveries and remove some bugs. I do not like the rear bumpers that I want to leave more like the real version

If you like I can make some liveries for you. I'm vetted in making advertisements and other related things. Just look at what I made to promote TLC's upcoming program.

Spoiler

Not unless you wanna just use ones from IV/V. I'll understand.

@universetwisters:  I plan to use IV liveries for being more vanilla style . The extras of cargo and wagon variation look strange and I plan to do it separately in three models:

V style (including cargo and passenger without ads)
Cargo van (Steel wheels and liveries roof rack and 2500 wheelbase)
Wagon extended (maxi-van)

Looking pretty good G.C.T. but strangely enough the front reminds me of a Chevy. :p

Edit:

Made a cheap edit in paint I think this 'll help you out if you decide to change the front.

Alrighty that sounds good man!

Also I have a request for you.

Would you mind giving the IV Manana a more 1975 Buick LeSabre look.

@Daitojo97  I see no need in that. What sets Manana apart from the Lesabre are the watch windows on the rigid roof and the wheelbase of the Manana is shorter. I prefer the Manana with LSC parts.

My first work with Openformats, I put a LSC muscle wheel In the Faction that resemble '85 Buick rims.

Have 3 liveries: Benders, Go Postal, Libel and 2 extras from Pony. The rim is from Police transporter.

Those wheels fit the Faction so much better. My first openformats mods were widening the rear wheels of the Banshee, putting Infernus wheels on the Sabre GT and Merit taxi wheels on the police Merit. Kinda cool doing stuff like that with nothing more than OpenIV and Notepad (although I use Notepad++).

@Zultar  It's finished, but I'll release it after the police version is finished so I can release it all together.

I repeated the process in Sabre 550ss with the new rims of Sabre beater. In the end I will release a car pack of upgraded vehicles, nothing more just more appropriate wheels.

So much better! The first plate is not the right place. put it on the Sabre beater front bumper.

The bumpers of the beater version are misaligned, and I also tried to put the hood but I can not find the material, it's somewhere in the file sabre_high.mesh/sabre_med.mesh. So I decided to put only the rims.
