Works for me :/ The old version certainly had that bug. But I don't have it in the new one.
 

Can I rename iii_anim.dll to ASI?

I did that and my computer died, writing from a microwave. Don't do it.

Oops sorry my mistake. I somehow didn't notice it requires new SkyGfx :p

Works perfectly for me.
EDIT: wait. do you mean the heads don't disappear? That's correct, I haven't implemented that (yet?).

They don't disappear and they don't pop off either. They stay where they are. Maybe I can do something for the next version but for now I'm just happy there aren't any more obvious bugs.

yeah :) i will be happy when they will dissapear and when PC anims will work :) thats all what i want

and my computer got a virus when i renamed it to asi and opened GTA 3 i saw some weird Illuminati sh*t with subtitle "The Hero take over's your PC" your PC will burn in ...10... 9.... 8....

They don't disappear and they don't pop off either. They stay where they are.

I don't think you can pop off someone's head on xbox/mobile. At least tried on mobile (and check'd even with nastylimbscheat) and their head simply won't pop off.

Hm, I don't know where exactly this is done and honestly I'm not that interested in fixing it. I never use PC controls and even when I do (such as for testing this plugin) i never walk diagonally as it looks particularly ridiculous. If it's easy, I can do it though.

If we already had the free camera movement mod for III and VC, fixing diagonal walk wouldn't even be necessary.

It looks a lot better with the PS2/PC models and the animations are the same...so idk

Maybe it's because the PC model just rotate the whole legs chunk while the xbox model must be streched?

The thing is that it's probably different layers of abstraction. GTA's animation system doesn't care a lot about skinned vs chunk animations so the animation blending probably can't do much about it. But again, I don't know where this blending even happens.

XBOX (and mobile) controls don't have diagonal walking so probably that's the reason why there isn't proper animation for this. If it's not easy to fix I can still live with that.
