For those that are not aware-- Samutz made some major updates on his GTASnP.com site a few months ago and included in this update was a 100% checklist viewable with your save.

So if you are stuck and do not know what you need for 100%-- simply upload your save at the above link.

After you get the message that the save has been successfully uploaded--- scroll down the page and you will see a 100% checklist with everything completed ticked off.

I do not know if he has plans on expanding this feature to other games and/or platforms at this time-- but at the time of this writing, the feature is only available to the following games and platforms...

100% Checklist Visible after upload

  • GTA III-- PC, Android, IOS (Unsure of Mac Version)
  • GTA VC-- PC, Android, IOS (Unsure of Mac Version)
  • GTA SA-- PC, Mobile version 1.06+, PS2

At the time of this writing, this feature is not available for GTA IV, EFLC, or GTA V--- you can check for this feature by clicking the appropriate link on this page... http://gtasnp.com/help/games

+++++

Save file editor method

While the above will show you what you have left-- if you are missing a rampage or hidden package it will not tell you which one it is-- Fortunately this save file editor for PC (which also will show you what you need for 100%) includes a map that will show you where any remaining jumps/hidden packages/rampages are located.... unfortunately the last I checked the map DOES NOT SHOW the proper location of missing jumps for the Android version--  all the other features of the editor seem to work ok (ie putting specific cars in garages and the like)...

Save Game editor link---   http://www.gtagarage...ow.php?id=12167

+++++

Manual Check Method

For those on consoles--  I created a check sheet that shows you remaining things that can leave you at 99%... It has 2 parts-- the first shows the items that you can check in your stats page and the 2nd shows things that are not in your stats and how you can check them.

I stand corrected...

I went through and browsed each type of save stored on his site and also saw that the IOS versions of III and VC have this feature too..

Anyone know if the MAC versions are supported or are these saves interchangeable with windows--- they seemed to be lumped together on the site

I generally consider Mac to be PCs. My understanding is that the save formats on Mac are identical, although I've done minimal testing since I don't own any Macs.

The only exception is that Mac versions of SA and VC use the latest save formats for PC (SA 2.0 and VC Steam). So when downloading on a Mac, the user should select the option to convert to their version. Uploading from a Mac, the saves will either be 2.0 (SA) or Steam/Digital release (VC).

Probably the same reason why Health is 220 on SA Mobile instead of the usual 176 on every other Version.  Mobile has increased Health I suppose to make it easier.  It's to compensate for sh*tty Controls probably...

I doubt he will add LCS/VCS.  He doesn't have PS2/3 Saves for GTASnP only for SA Version 1.  Furthermore, if he wants to do LCS/VCS for PS2 V1, it's best to use my Saves since they are complete.  I doubt PSP Saves work on GTASnP as well.

This is why I usually stick to mega.co.nz when it comes to PS2/3 Saves cuz I can upload ANYTHING I want there.  GTASnP is an amazing site, but I really only use it for SA Mobile, and eventually VC and III Mobile.  It doesn't even work for Chinatown Wars Mobile.  Again, Samutz, I have all these 100% Saves, so if you want to document a 100% checklist, I can help, etc...

It's up to you, though.  I don't know how much work is needed to add these things to the Site.  I am just giving suggestions.  OrionSR said that because of my SA PS2/3 Save, you got it all worked out on GTASnP.  OrionSR said nobody ever uploaded an extensive, 100% PS2/3 Save before but since I did, it gave you guys the ability to add it all in on GTASnP and get it all working with the checklist, etc...

Also Samutz, can you add support for LCS and VCS saves?

PS2 versions of SA were added to the site because Orion requested it and their format, after being extracted from the PSV file, was nearly identical to PC versions. So it was easy to add support for them. Checklists were possible because Orion (and others that worked with him) provided me with a list of the PS2 global variables to translate the PC checklist to PS2v1 and v2.

VCS, LCS, and CTW haven't been added because there's been very little demand for them no documentation for them. I can find some basic things myself in them, but 99.9999% of the current documentations for other formats came from other researchers. They could be added, but they would be like GTA V and the old SA Mobile with no stats or checklists.

"OrionSR said that because of my SA PS2/3 Save, you got it all worked out on GTASnP."

Got what worked out exactly? Checklists were added in March, before your saves. There was a bug he pointed out in version detection (v1/v2) of one of your saves, but that was all.

When OrionSR uploaded my PS2 V1 Save to GTASnP, a lot of the stuff was NOT checked off on the 100% Checklist, random things were checked off, but other things were as if they were not completed, but then a day later, everything was checked off.  It used to say V2, as well, and other "Modifications" were being flagged on GTASnP, but once a day passed, the stuff was checked off on the Checklist and also the Save said V1 (like it should) instead of V2, like it was originally displaying...

I don't know about this stuff and how it works, so if I am saying something incorrect, it's cuz I don't understand much about all the technical aspects of the Site and how it works, etc...

Ah I see now. Yea, because the save was incorrectly detected as v2, the site was checking v2 global vars instead of v1 global vars. Nothing actually changed in the checklist code, it was just fixing the version that fixed the checklist.

I'd love to use your Site for ALL my GTA's.  In time, I hope you get it working for LCS/VCS (PS2/PSP), CTW (PSP/Android/iOS), and also III, VC for Consoles.  Even IV, TLaD/TBoGT (EfLC), and V for Consoles.

The firefighter mission is quite easy, I don't really see why you would delay that one. Maybe you can't find a firetruck? There is one parked in Downtown and you can make one appear (in Ocean Beach for example) by throwing some molotov cocktail or using a flamethrower. I did firefighter immediately after the molotov rampage in ocean beach which also made some things interesting (the Diaz' gang appearing which started shooting me immediately whenever I threw a cocktail, because I did this after I killed Diaz, they also shot at firemen for no reason  :lol: ). But yeah, I usually do all side stuff (packages, rampages, jumps, stores, etc) and missions (RC races, checkpoint races, etc) after Rub Out. I also do final mission Keep Your Friends Close the very last thing to complete game 100%, I think it makes more sense that way because you have all upgrades when you do the mission, which makes it VERY easy.

On topic: I would like sometime Samutz to add support for LCS and VCS saves, that way we will also find out if increased max health and max armor are 150 as people state on various sites, which I highly doubt. It could be any other number as well.

EDIT: The save uploaded lasts for 30 days but it can be deleted earlier if you ask Samutz. You can also make the save permanent if you want but again, you have to ask him.
