Alongside with default draw distance - definitely. How huge is fps hit?

Huge, from steady 60FPS to 25 on Maze Bank building, performance impact hit is even more while in air.

Jeez. that's a lot. It's great for nice screenshots and rendering vids from editor, so I still like the idea of optional high draw distance edits. But damn, 35fps... xD

that's completely fine. Btw, have you changed urban night time? I would love to see nicely made darker nights. I've tried myself, but it doesn't look good haha.

I think something in between would be best. Also in high draw distances I noticed that the horizon clouds intersect with terrain which breaks immersion extremely.

It's caused by low fog settings. As I already said few posts above - some fog is necessary to smooth that horizon line.

Any chance of us getting multiple versions with different settings? The extra distance looks nice but I imagine it won't be practical for a lot of people due to the performance hit. Wouldn't mind trying different versions to see which one works best depending on the persons set up.

RELEASED!

VisualV, version 1.0.010 have been uploaded and it's ready to download!

- reduced smog for extrasunny weather
- changed moon size for more realistic
- darker night on countryside
- removed chromatic abberation effect for all weathers
- realistic sunrise and sunset for extrasunny weather
- improved post procession effects for all three characters
- improved pause menu screen
- removed lens flare for all three characters
- removed blur and noise from transition camera while changing characters
- increased streaming memory for better management of memory
- increased draw distance for high-end GPU (NVIDIA TITAN recommended)

EDIT: Tested without the lens flare files, I think the lack of smog really makes the sun look a lot worse. First shot is without the mod, second is with the mod (and removed lens flare xml files).

There is something weird about those confusing common/update/common and much more common and update.

The file timecycle_mods_2 is not present in update/update.rpf/common/data/timecycle.

The file timecycle_mods_2 is present in just common.rpf, the file right in GTAV root folder.

I did make a backup of the original files but it seems to the same.

Looks great thank you ! Some suggestions :

- Raise the time to change weather, actually the weather change every hour its not realistic...

- Remove noise

- Add more peds via gameconfig.xml (it's crash free and 0 fps loss)

- With some foggy weather, the textures are blurred too close

- For unknown reason, the neon light under my car has disappeared

- Darker nights !!

- Add little bit more fog to extra sunny weather at far distance

- Did you edit the number of car in gameconfig.xml? It seems I got lesser cars in traffic now.
