The Beta has been released.

Please report any bugs, suggestions or ideas.

I don't know about the glowing issue, I wanted to make this mod without any edits to gta3.img

Beta 1.2 Update released!

Sorry it took so long, I have been playing GTA V for the first time, and things have been busy IRL.

Much more done on LAn   :D

Progress map has been updated as well.

Are you going to post pictures of new props in new areas?

On the second image, the trash bins look awfully huge. Is it just a perspective issue?

OH SO YOU'RE AGAINST AWFULLY HUGE TRASH BINS HUH? YOU RACIST.

 

I think it was just R*`s sh*t perspective of scale, many things are really not proportional on the III era games. Drive around Ocean Beach and try to find some elevator doors, some of the are about the height of 2.5 Tommys (or Tommies? Wait now that word sounds really weird... Tommies...)

Only half black? You only get to say Nig- then :D Also you are only allowed to steal unicycles, no bikes for you.

 

I like the idea of more props on the streets, keep it up. :^: Just don't go over the top (i mean like some pics show cluttered streets but the variation is slim so it looks odd).

What in god's name are you even going on about, do you have anything to say or add to the mod apart from "this place is horrible", or "I'm a super giga nigga"?

 

Anywho, I think this mod is pretty cool, it adds a bit more immersion, keep up the good work, It'd be cool to see more props depending on each area!

You did almost everything possible with those trash bins in the video, from running them over to punching them. Now get it working on Hot Coffee and this mod might get a medal later.

You did almost everything possible with those trash bins in the video, from running them over to punching them. Now get it working on Hot Coffee and this mod might get a medal later.

You should see Mailboxes and Blue trash bins directly outside the Johnson House on Grove Street.

Make sure you copied the "data" folder correctly. With administrator permissions. The modloader thing is optional, only to replace textures on lampposts.

Nothing like on screenshot. In my game there is only a bag of trash that was there by default in clean PC version. This mod does not work in both clean or modded games.

Dont get me wrong, but could it be that you simply uploaded wrong package? All of the files from your maps folder last edited in 2004 and 2005. I have just compared CRC32 of every file of your maps folder and the maps from clean game. They are identical. Seabed.ipl is the ONLY file that have different CRC32.

Check the OP for a new download that  MIGHT work.

If anyone knows how to correctly share files edited in MEd, then PM me.

I think the problem was I wasn't including the Stream IPLs from gta3.img.

However, in future, you should reduce the amount of trash in the alleys because it is too much, even for the ghettos.

Ok, so this mod is not dead, I have completely restarted it because I lost the files when converting to a new computer. This time, to reduce confusion I have created new .IPL files specifically for the mod.

countryprops.ipl

Now everything works, and this mod is perfect. Even that small portion of props already makes city more real & alive. Keep it up.

Don't worry, much more will be added to LV in the future. Los Santos is my main focus right now. Once that is done, I will move on to LV and SF
