engine bay mostly textured.

tYeEIsO.jpg

thats the cleanest dip engine I've ever seen. everything looks legit can't wait to see it in lspdfr. oh and my white car is off to the mechanic soon

It took 5 cans of degreaser, still got that citrus smell. I am not sure the car will Become popular at LSPD. I am surprised nobody wants to convert my Suburban into law enforcement model. BTW what's wrong with your dippy?

Guess I better start getting some equipment ready!

As soon as I get the car finished, I will give you the model for the police conversion, then I will make a civilian version and it will be tunable at ls custom.. Some caffeine and "push it to the limit" song from scarface improves productivity.

Doggonnit! I need to buy the zmodeler 3 license again.

I can't resist the GTAV crisp and rich graphics.

That 2 year license is tough for scratch builder like me, it takes me too much time to create a car from scratch. I might try upgrading my San Andreas models (MK3 cortina and loadstar)

Talking about police, did SFPD or Miami Police use Diplomats?

Or you can take your LTD CW '87 and make LTD CW '88-91.  :D

Maybe later, I am starting to make improvements on 1991-1993 caprice, some modest polygon upgrade and improved textures.

On that theme, how about doing some "variants" of cars you already modeled instead of complete new models?

Some examples could be stuff like this:

https://www.flickr.c...08/23173447112/

https://www.flickr.c...08/25502241016/

i.e. different trims to the same model, or also different year variants, like for the Ford Fairlane:

http://ronhavencars....lane L rear.jpg

https://[email protected]?rev=1
https://c1.staticfli...d7f478ff2_b.jpg

and stuff like this.

I can't talk for others, but I sure would love more varieties of your awesome models, the more the merrier...

Retro cars driving around Los Santos...

I used to, but for some reason I prefer to move on to another model.

Robin already made a diplomat, I better make sure mine is nearly as good as his. I just made some adjustment

Doggonnit! I need to buy the zmodeler 3 license again.

the reason why I do not modde for GTAV

Same reason why I can't do models for GTA IV - I hate subscriptionware, and I will never use it, no matter how low priced it is. We're currently in financial uncertainty, and I don't want that in the expense pile.

Actually you can mod cars for GTAIV using the FREE zmodeller 2. I suggest having zmodeller 1 to import 3DS files.

Also GIMS EVO for Max is available for for GTAV, give it a try.

Undeleted.

Just would like to chime in and say that unfortunately, that escapade with zMod was all for nothing. I can't import without a damn license. So I can't put a lightbar on a Merit. Damn it.

I'd prefer, and would willingly pay single purchase for it. But no - it's dodgy subscriptionware. And even worse, there's no means in which to tell how much I can pay in GBP(£). And even though there's a 15 day trial period...that's no way enough for my attention span.

So unfortunately, thanks for the heads-up, Carface, but I'm unfortunately going to have to discard it. Maybe I might try and rush something out around about Christmas time or earlier, but its very likely I'm not going to be able to do anything with it. And I just had a Baller mod up in line...

This is why I prefer open-source. I might take this to a different topic.

So no chances of getting a Le Baron/5th Avenue body out of the base Diplomat model? Aw..
