Mission series status: FINISHED
Play the missions and don't forget to give me feedback about them.
Hi, guys. I'm back. After finishing the Swiping Kings: The Race Continues mission pack a long time ago, I've decided to move on to making a completely new story. Edge of HighLife is a mission pack not connected to any of my previous mission packs, it's a whole new story with a whole lot of new characters. What you need to know is that this mission pack is the longest I've made in my career. It's finished and it consists of 64 missions. All my missions are connected to each other, so I suggest you play them in order which you are able to follow in this topic.
Scott Blake, a former prisoner who just got out of the SA State Prison after serving 5 years for holding up a bank, comes back to his former city of residence, Los Santos, in order to continue the life he led prior to his arrest. Upon his arrival in Los Santos, Scott meets up with Thomas Jenkins, Scott's best friend and one of the former members of their so-called 'take team', a unit established by Scott and Thomas many years ago, which stopped existing after Scott left to prison. However, as Scott himself would soon find out, situation in Los Santos changed completely from what it was 5 years ago when he left to prison. Operations their team did years ago aren't so easy to do anymore. But, one thing everyone should know about Scott Blake and his team is that they will do absolutely anything in order to rise to the heights of power, money and an untouchable status.

DAMN!! I really wanna play this but I'm not home until a couple days. Looks good tho!
That's cool, man Play it when you get the chance, it won't go away anywhere, trust me And thanks, I'm glad you like it. I made a new concept of the layout because there will be a lot more major and minor characters involved than in pretty much any of my previous mission packs, so I made it easier for you guys to keep track on who is who.

So I played the first two missions and here's my feedback:
Amazing cutscenes angles
Perfect use of animation
Great and intersting story
Not a lot of gameplay though it's your style.
The second mission was a bit short.
Overall, the first two missions were great, I'd give you 9.3/10. I can't wait for the next mission, how's the progress?
And by the way, at first I thought that those guys who chased Scott were Jason's but it turns out that it's wrong
Also may I ask why Tanya didn't let Scott take care of Jason? He's a dangerous guy or what?
Hey, thanks on the quick reply, man
Anyway, I know this will sound strange to you and maybe unexpected, but this is just the beginning of the mission pack. I assure you, there will be plenty of gameplay segments in this mission pack. Way more than in my previous mission packs, you can be sure of that
About Tanya.. You have to have in mind Scott and Tanya have a history together and Tanya isn't a violent person at all. Even though Jason is abusing her, Tanya doesn't want Scott to get ''carried away'' and get himself in trouble again because she knows what's Scott capable off when angry. Also, Jason would abuse Tanya even more if she went around telling people he's abusing her. But, as I stated already... it's only the beginning.

3rd mission review:
-Writing:Excellent: It's perfect, I haven't seen any mistake, the instructions are clear and the dialogues are amazing.
-Presentation:Very good: Great cutscene angles overall and great use of animations, excellent work Jimmy.
-Length: Good: Mission lasts for 4-5 minutes. Scott is going to pay his old friend to a visit and to get a piece. But it turns out that Dwayne needs some help and just found the perfect guy.
-Difficulty: Easy: Apart from sitting back and driving, nothing is hard.
-Variety: Decent Mission didn't include a lot of actors, neither objects or cars.
4th mission review:
-Writing:Excellent: Just like in the previous mission, everything's well done.
-Presentation:Very good: Great use of animations and great cutscenes angles.
-Length: Very good: MIssion lasts for 7-8 minutes. Scott, got a call from Thomas. He's under attack and of course our hero has to defend him. Moreover, Scott has to take care of Tanya's problems as well.
-Difficulty: Hard: The shootout isn't that hard, neither beating Jason and his friends. What hard is the time limit and Thomas' health. Also, some of the enemies have a quit good accuracy.
-Variety: Good: Mission includes a lot of actors, some cars and a decent number of objects.
Rating: 9.5/10 though it's my favorite mission yet.
I'm about to play the latest 2 missions now. It's nice to see you still have the great story and dialogue, but It's even better to see you've kind of swerved away from your usual style and started putting color in the text, dialogue during driving sequences, etc, but is still reminiscent of some of your classics like The Runaway, TPC, etc. in certain ways, like your camera angles. dialogue, characters, etc. Good luck on this!
Yes, I wanted to make it easier to read and text coloring did the job I will be using dialogues during driving sequences aswell, yes. It cuts off the monotonity of the driving itself and it reduces the number of cutscenes in a mission which makes it GTA style more. I'm glad you like it, hopefully others do to

Hmm.. You're probably right. I double checked while designing and nothing crashed, I played both missions twice in a row (published and non published), neither crashed. Also, a friend of mine played them on his computer aswell and the missions didn't crash there either. I don't know what procedure you should use now. I don't know if you should re-install the game, but maybe adjusting the CLEO version?
If anyone else gets a crash on any of those missions, report it. I can check again, but I'm not sure I'll get different results.

Played the last 3 missions of chapter 1 and I must say you did a great job. The only thing that bothered me is driving for a long distance in the last mission. And as always, great cutscenes, animations, plot, dialogues. I'll play the rest of the missions and give you feedback later.
