I could never get into Vice City Stories. I like Victor Vance as a protagonist and the story was good but the gameplay always put me off, too many annoying missions.

I love the Phil Collins missions, p much the only reason I play the game.

Never understood the appeal of free roam PvP in GTA Online... irks the hell out of me. I'm very objective based so killing other people without any real reason behind it is pathetic to me lmao. In death matches and adversary modes at least there's a reason behind the killing. Idk how my K/D ratio is 0.97, should be much lower considering how I much go out of my way to avoid PvP in general.

- Had to get my sister's bf to help me in one of Vlad's missions where you have to chase the Laundromat guy and stuff.

Also, new guy here! This is my first post.

Welcome to the forums, mate!

OT: Whenever I want to go back and finish a GTA game, I...for some reason, have to complete the previous game otherwise I won't enjoy it as much.

For example, I MUST finish IV before I move onto V. That's that extreme OCD right there.

I don't find the missions Espresso-2-Go!, Demolition Man, The Driver, Dildo Dodo, Wrong Side of the Tracks, Freefall, Three Leaf Clover and Snow Storm hard at all. I remember doing my first legit playthrough of VC back in 2015 and having my next mission be Dildo Dodo, seeing every GTA fan say it's one of the hardest missions ever. So I grabbed a broken PS3 control just in case I needed to smash something. Then I completed Dildo Dodo on the first attempt. But Supply Lines increases my blood pressure like hell.

My tolerance level for GTA's in HD Era is decreasing faster after each new release, because I DON'T find anything interesting to pick them up that is not fully possible or done better in 3D era GTA's ( even GTA 2 ) which are STILL very enjoyable to me. They are fun without mods too.
But I cannot play HD GTA's without mods installed, at all.
Its like GTA's in HD Era are getting increasingly dependent on the support by the modding community for staying interested long enough after completing the story. That never was a problem with the old games.

My motivation for completing GTA IV before GTA V is a little different. I like to get a taste of what a masterpiece is like before moving onto something that's meh average.:p

I always liked the idea of how Catalina & CJ could have been a twisted but humorous couple together, even though she was a back-stabbing greedy little sh*t, I always wished she and Carl had more of a thing going on.

Same, lad.

I remember that when I first bought GTA San Andreas for the PC back in 2006/2007, I couldn't make any progress on the story mode due to the lowrider dancing competition mission. I literally tried it hundreds of times but never was successful. When I finally did, I legitmately cried tears of joy.
PS.: It took me about 2-3 months to be able to complete it.

On my first playthrough of GTA 3 (after the mission "Give me Liberty") the first thing I did was roleplaying as a bus driver.... Good old times.

I've only ever completed the Campaign for one GTA game; GTAV.

With that said, I feel like V's Story Mode was pretty damn short  :/

First thing I did in III was stealing loads of Diablo Stallions.

When I was younger playing SA with my brother, I thought the individual below was not a human but some kind of creature. So I always killed him every time I saw him.

I used to have long side burns and an attire similar to Claude(GTA 3) back in my college days.

I wore Tan Combats and a thin leather racing jacket. Claude was bad ass to me, got on with his jobs with no complaints or basic b*tchery.

Also I dressed like Tommy Vercetti, the outfit actually looked good so I wore it when I met up with someone at Odean Cinema.

- Never tried GTA IV multiplayer

- Never completed CMM in GTA Online

- Platinumed and 100%'d GTAV twice

- First GTA was GTA2 at like 9/10 years old

- Couldn't beat "Just Business" in San Andreas on PS2 for like two whole months

- Stopped playing GTA 3 for like three years cause I couldn't complete "Bomb Da Base II"

- Was underwhelmed af when playing GTAV for the first time on PS3, PS4 version felt like the real, promised version all along

- Used cheats to complete GTA3, Vice City and SA for the first time, didn't think it was possible to do without them back then lol

- Got stuck on "Blow Your Cover" in GTA IV for a good few weeks

Not Much of a confession. But, Before every game save I atleast need to have the characters at full health and full armor capacity in order to save the game. I know the save gives the character full health, but its just a real OCD to do it all the time regard if its just a small percentage down.

I always massacre the cross dressers that are found outside a club near the los santos customs in burton. Those crossdressing wacks disgust me haha.

When in gta online free roam, I am on passive mode more than half the time as I hate being taken advantage due to my low level and limited weaponry.

When I was a kid I thought that wearing pink shorts from Binco would make me part of Ballas gang. Sadly they killed me anyway, lol.

I don't consider all these "GTA III redux, improved, definite edition, fixed" total conversions if they don't have III Aircraft.

I have played and completed almost every game in the franchise... Except for GTA, GTA 2 and Advance. I really want to, but i just keep losing interest after everytime i start a playtrough.

Also, the only games i've played and haven't got 100% are V and San Andreas

When I was a kid, I used to think Claude and Tommy were the same person due to their similar appearances. I used to be confused about why he would speak in Vice City but not III, but I later found out they were different people.

Did you play GTA 2? If not, check it, then you will be even more confused. (Understanders gonna understand)

I'm not gonna lie, I had a very big crush on this pedestrian from SanAndreas cause I thought her body and face was a 10 and I liked her voice in the game so much. I'd follow and protect her from other pedestrians pretending I am her boyfriend or something.

I always thought it was hilarious when Osho wrote one of his 1000 word essays on why the HD era apparently sucks because of the inclusion of minigames yet sang the holy praise of San Andreas despite the fact San Andreas introduced minigames to the series.

Yoga might be a crappy activity (in context), but I would still rather do it than the sh*tty rhythm based "dancing". I dreaded doing Life's A Beach for that reason.

Atleast "Did Somebody Say Yoga?" countered with an entertaining after segment.

Minigames (when they're done right) are a great way of balancing out the game world. It always puzzles me when someone opposes to them.

If I wanted boring as f*ck game worlds with no meat on their bones I'd play The Getaway, Mafia III, Just Cause 2 etc.

I'd do Life's A Beach (which wasn't bad imo, the music was good) over Yoga anyday :p

You steal the van afterwards and get chased anyway :p
