I think I personally prefer realistic, but it's up to you to decide.

CJ's looking great. It feel's like we have one of Rockstar's own among us sometimes haha. Love your art work Almico.

Thanks man I like this community.
Also my university friend who makes vehicles got a job at Rockstar North and he said my last HD CJ got emailed around the R* office when San Andreas 2 hoax happened.

I thought this title was more fitting to the project I will be doing...
I will be making CJ again but this time I am sticking to the III era design and I've come prepared.
Just made CJ in GTA Online and [Updated] painted over so I can stick an image here to motivate myself after I finish work.
WTF? Have you managed to do the 3d era CJ on GTA Online editor? Oo

^Wow! It really looks like CJ. A lot of people who attempt these HD remakes usually mess up the eyes because CJ's are a bit weird. Despite that, you seemed to nail it! I'm positive that this project will be as successful and as hyped as the last project.

@universetwister - CJ din't wear briefs he wore a diaper. If I give him underwear like that then it will be hard to make clothing on top of it haha

Sorry if this has been answered already, but what dimensions do you use for textures? 1024x1024, perhaps?
Posted 30 December 2014 - 08:25 PM
It depends what GTA V uses on PC. I'll make the size the same as that.
At the moment I'm using polypaint in zbrush so it's painting directly on to the sculpt.
Hope this answered your question

Do you mean the shape or the colour of the eyes? The texture is just temporary for the eyes and the shape is the same because I want this to resemble last gen CJ as much as possible.
Posted 30 December 2014 - 09:38 PM
I'm keeping the shape of the eyes this time as it makes CJ look like the same person as last gen. I will get to eyelashes etc. soon. This mod is only a week old.

I did a media course at college when I was 16 which we got to learn the basics of Flash and then 3ds Max.
After that I did an art course which had Life drawing lessons where we had to draw nude people.
I dropped out of this course due to personal reasons but then to my surprise I got accepted in to University!
2 years of College and 3 years of University later and here I am.

CJ looks amazing. After the darkening the torso, it'll be even better. Nice to hear your artistic path as well.

Good work as usual.
Really wish you would put something together for IV since there is no timetable on when character/ped modding will be possible for V.
Would be great if you could at least demo the older CJ in ViIV now that the whole map is accessible.
