Hi guys,
 
I'm releasing a program which does a 1:1 conversion of the whole PS2 map (IDEs, IPLs, DFFs, TXDs) to PC.



EDIT: Just get the map files here and forget the instructions below: http://aap.papnet.eu/gta/ps2_map_sa.7z
 
What you'll need:
- You also need SilentPatch or better SkyGfx for the dual pass

the parachute seems to be invisible when deployed.

 

edit: nvm, something from SkyGfx was affecting it.

No. They aren't needed but if you want to use them, you can.

I've got questions about txds in the converted archive. Why are some things like weapons compressed, while the rest aren't? I checked the actual PS2 files and the weapons there aren't compressed. Also why are the vehicles missing alphas? The rest has alphas.

Hmm,interesting mod.I personally wouldn't download it,because I want to keep the HQ roads and extra objects.What I would be interested in is a mod that keeps all the additions from the PC,and readds the missing things from the PS2,this would be great.

Hmm,interesting mod.I personally wouldn't download it,because I want to keep the HQ roads and extra objects.What I would be interested in is a mod that keeps all the additions from the PC,and readds the missing things from the PS2,this would be great.

In that case, just do VEGAS only, as that's where the stuff is mainly missing on PC.
