Because you got frame limiter off. I got same... More FPS - slower swimming etc.

It doesn't even have anything to do with a mod, that's how vanilla SA behaves and there is nothing you can do about it but playing at 30 fps.

Also after scanning my directory it doesn't find the files to patch (the list is empty). However if I try to downgrade anyway it starts but throws the same exception a few times and then crashes.

Sorry if somebody's mentioned this here before, but I have a bit of a problem.
I downgraded the game from the Steam Version, it was successful and I chose to add the SilentPatch, Remastered GUI and Windescreen fix mods.
However, every time I start the game the resolution is automatically set to 1920x1080. I want to run it in 1280x720 because it drops frames every time there's lots of pedestrians or smoke on-screen, but I have to change it every time I open the game.
I've tried disabling the mods (it was only possible to disable the latter 2) one by one (so I tried with either one or none of them enabled) and deleting the settings file from the downgrader but it doesn't seem to work.
Is there anything I can do about this or is it just the way it's meant to be?

make a backup of your original exe and try!

I went through the whole downgrade process fine and when I now try and run the game I get the following error message:
'Cannot find 1536x864x32 video mode'
I've had a quick look around and the common fix appears to be changing the compatibility mode within properties, but this isn't working either.
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Wow man. Guys cant even help me. I will f*cking find another way how to downgrade without using this. And I will install the other mods myself. Dasvidania!

Yeah these f*cking idiots didn't respond you within an hour, I really hope them useless dicks die in fire.
I already downgraded. Dont use this sh*t. Watch a video of downgrading the game and how to install CLEO. I just watched it to downgrade and it worked. I installed the other mods separately.

Only if you have fire resistant cookies, wouldn't want those to get burned in the proces

Does that work on GTA San Dvd version? V2.00 I think it was.

GTA: San Andreas Downgrader
This downgrader will take the certain versions of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and downgrade them to their original version 1.0 counterparts.
- NewSteam r2 (including German) (12/9/14)
- Retail Second Edition (2.0) US
how about reading some op?

-I have the DVD version
-I live in the EU and I bought it the EU
-in game menu says it is v2.0
That means that I have the 2.0 EU version, which is unsupported by this downgrader?

sh*t I messed it up. Is there anyway I can clean my whole hard drive of the downgrade because every time I reinstall it and reopen the downgrader it says
"Fatal error while trying to reach the RockStarNexus services.System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out at at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
at SAPatch.utils.downloadToString(String url)
And I don't know what to do. Please help.
