Good morning, how are you all? Sorry, but I've been so hung with mods for Vice City, and I have neglected this.
If someone were kind enough to tell me what I need to upload? :)
 
Step to inform I'll gain back the BETA models, these were transferred under the authorization of @Kalvin, its mod San Andreas: BETA Edition.
 
P/D: If the models I need, but something would be good complimentary. :)

Looks like slow progress but slow progress isn't bad! I'm not complaining in any event.

I found that doesn't have all objects in download, por example, csbigbearthin.dff . If you could correct this I appreciate so much.

What are you saying? Which has no hands? You could show me, to see more clearly?


I found that doesn't have all objects in download, por example, csbigbearthin.dff . If you could correct this I appreciate so much.

If the model of Big Bear not even put it on, but I have seen that I have to give hands again, because they look horrible. If you can wait, dude ... I would greatly appreciate it.

Just download the package, and I have seen that if this model Claude. That this is not the model of Lil Bil. Now'll fix, more quickly.

I reupload the pack of models with new hands. Here the little added:
 
- I reinserted the model of "Claude", although this was still.
- I added the model of "lilbil" and "CSdope".
 
And will upload the default model with some other fixes.

Not sure how far you wanna take this mod, but it would be cool if you could someday convert all the peds to ones with functional hands (cutscene and in-game). However I do not know how much work adding the hands in actually is. It seems very doable with the default UVW map or do you need to adjust those a bit for the hands to be textured correctly?

Just a fyi for anyone who hates how the mobile ped spec map looks, in ped_spec.ini you can change all the rgb values to 0 which disables the effect, but doesn't break the hand models.

For some reason, the error only appears in San Andreas, my friend. I have no idea how to fix it. :/

can i use default models then overwrite it with new hands update and ONCE AGAIN overwrite it with beta ?

 

and where should i place that dff btw ?

You ask many questions...

Simply: (MUST make new folder(s) in modloader, do not install the mod files to modloader directly!) Name your folder(s) as anything you want, then put all files there. Then overwrite the old files with new ones: Update, then Beta, normally! :)

But, if u want to keep the old files (Default thing) intact but still want to use Update & Beta together: just make other new two folder for those two, then set their priority higher than Default one. Details:
*folder "Default" - contains Default ones. (Nothing to do with this. Default priority is 50 in geral)
*folder "Update": Set priority higher than Default above (e.g =51).
*folder "Beta": set priority higher than Update above (e.g =52)

...

You can just overwrite with what you want in the same folder within modloader once you found out which ones you like (to save some MB's).

You must create a new folder in modloader.
 
You can put the name you want, for example:
 
"C:/Program files/GTA San Andreas/modloader/mobile_hands"
 
Within that folder you can put all the models if you want.
 
If you want to be a little more tidy, you can put all the normal models, and another with models that have new hands. For example:
 
"C:/Program files/GTA San Andreas/modloader/mobile_hands/normals"
"C:/Program files/GTA San Andreas/modloader/mobile_hands/new_hands"
 
What you CAN NOT do is put the normal models and Beta models at the same time, because the modloader can not load two models at a time, so the game crash.

You must create a new folder in modloader.
 
You can put the name you want, for example:
