Thanks for mentioning these, I updated the usual archive - now try and see what happens? Optionally, airport.ipl, airportN.ipl and littleha.ipl can be updated to see a little more of the outside environment in Cafe Robina.

Hey peeps. Been a long time.

 

I've been running Vice City with almost all modifications included in the Leftovers with no problem until tonight, when suddenly after Windows 10 auto-updating itself it just stopped working. Can't even start it.

 

All I get is: Unhandled Exception: c0000005 At Address: 004a6fa0.

 

I tried googling this issue, but all I found was: "004a6fa0 - PluginAttach(void)"

 

Since I ain't no programmer can't really tell where this issue comes from, but my thinking is that it definitely comes from one or more modifications.

 

Anyone have any thoughts on that? Thanks. :)

Fixes the last issues I reported, however Moist Palms Hotel (doontoon_top02 and its LOD) are underground (again). The collision is in the right spot though it'll move to the road if I try to correct downtows.ipl.

@Nicky_T, does vanilla VC run? I was having a similar issue on Windows 7 not 2 weekends ago and it was a rundll32 and gameux.dll issue.

Well, if this was the case with you, how did you manage to take care of it?

There's a lot of back and forth, is this simply 1 modification or a collection of various? I'm getting confused trying to read between the lines and arguments...

Vanilla means no mods. Simply a clean install.

Vanilla means no mods. Simply a clean install.

 

Oh I tested that while checking if there's something wrong with the .exe since Windows 10 has this option and yes, vanilla runs absolutely fine when having no mods applied.

Seen that file giving errors a bunch more times in this thread and I just can't seem to reproduce that lol.

Maybe you forgot the 1.0 exe (is that even needed)?

Some water drops appear when the helicopter is landed in the initial cutscene :D I'm pretty sure it's because of those puddles by VCLF but not sure it's the same on PS2?

It's VCLF fix cuz the puddles originally had concrete collision instead of puddle/water one

they are not, because they are cause by the edited collision as i mentioned above.

There are no droplets in this cutscene on PS2. Now that the puddles have the right collision, if you land with an helicopter, droplets will appear on the screen.

No, it hasn't. The next update won't be before a while. I still have to finish the one for GTA III and after I don't know what I'll do, but not PS2 Feels.

I'm already aware of this one. It was supposed to be fixed for the last update, but I forgot to add the TXD...

 

Is this light beam texture like on PS2?

How did I not notice that?

No, It's supposed to be like that:

Totally different from PC. On PC, the gradient is controlled by a texture. On PS2, the gradient is controlled by the DFF.

Move the coronas up to the second row - they're over the reverse lights at the moment:

You mean the blue corona? If it is, it's there for me with VCLF or VCLF + PS2 Feels.

Both are fine.

But, in case of the texture, the texture has to be edited, the gradient is horrible.

Little update for VC Fixes.

There are now two folders:

VCLF, which contains the same things as before.

PS2 Feels, to quickly fix things reported.

 

Things new in VCLF's folder:

dt_lites.txd and dt_nitelites2.dff to fix the light beam of the building.

 

For PS2 Feels, the untexture door, fences and missing gradient of the light beam are fixed.

guys what gta_vc.dat should i use if i want to have Core Pack and improvements at one time? damn i used this long time ago and i forgot...
