Inadequate could you look into the palm shadow in north point mall, i sent converted dff with txd but I can't make them work in game

 

I installed it without replacing nothing in gta3.img because i get matches not found, I going to North Point Mall and doesn't crashes but nothing of shadows appears.

attempted to remake abutch because I didn't like how pixelated it looked:

anyone got a better picture of Hilary Briss? I'm not too happy with this one. also, the biker bar/The Greasy Chopper has some differences on PS2, will update...

 

EDIT:

 

new pack, from now on I'll be focusing on tightening things up using the PS2/PC assets with the highest quality possible. changes include:

  • Brownstone Laundromat sign remade using PC texture
  • condiments at Café Robina recolored using PS2 texture
  • some beer brands uncensored, photos/signs recolored in The Greasy Chopper
  • Sunnyside Taxis sign in Little Havana restored, was Mean Street Taxis before (currently using PS2 texture, I should remake this from scratch as it looks awful)
  • country club gates partially remade using PC texture
  • Phil's phone number uncensored
  • jmoto (Japanese tourist) restored with PS2 texture

this is becoming a mess to organize, I think it'd be great if we formed a proper team with one united pack :)

 

EDIT EDIT: pack updated to exclude building block, some textures edited to blend in better

ooo, where'd you find that texture? I made mine as sort of a "best of both worlds" sort of thing, PC details with the PS2's overall presence, y'know

I just go around city with map editor and when the texture seemed to look similar to me I opened it and compared. (I found that texture was used about 6 times :D)

m'hm, just copied over the texture from PC and made it black and white to keep with Rockstar's Vision

I can't find that texture in game and for some reason some flags (now I am talking about PS2 version) are barelly visible and only from some angles (fixed flags on PC do this too but only that visibility from some angle)

Edit: Just WTF, I don't have palm shadows in North point mall on real not emulated PS2.

this is also the one you can see from beta screen, can't believe I missed this back then

Yeah, didn't notice it before, good job.  :^:

 

Just tried out some of the changes on this thread and they're really nice. Especially the bike store and tool shop, keep it up.

Actually it is mouse camera bug, when using gamepad it doesn't happen even in FPS mode
