In v3, several functions have been removed to give way to new (usually moved to the EnhancedTXD/ECG). Compared with the previous version, about 40 functions have been added, as well as revisions and a more organized .ini.

A simple mod cleo and an extensive .ini file with hundreds fixes and tweaks for you to configure and improve your GTA SA.

Highlights:

  • 20% increase of FPS without losses.
  • Smart FPS control to you don't have bugs of high FPS.
  • Increase CPU priority of the CPU in the game (a kind of game booster).
  • More FPS increasing functions, like clouds deactivation, motion blur, fog, configure effects etc.
  • Stream Memory Fix up to 2 GB which can enter how many MB you want.
  • Increase the Anti-Aliasing higher than the game offers and with commands in-game.
  • Traffic much more intense.
  • More pedestrians and more realistic appearances.
  • Fixes the brighter square in the water
  • Can see farther cars, pedestrians, shadows, lights etc.
  • Shadows of cars and pedestrians appearing from afar.
  • Rounder tire marks, near to the ground and take longer to fade.
  • You can enable/disable dozens of things in your GTA, as height limits, rain effects, fog, water physics, lensflare, cheats, weapon crosshair, jump camera etc. 
  • You can configure other dozens of things, as proppeller, distance and shot power of Rhino, life amout of peds and vehicles, how much Hydras chases you, car brake power, speed of steering, FPS limit, size of health bar, days taking longer to pass (e.g. 48 minutes), distance to see and time do disappear pickups and explosion marks etc.
  • Disable shadows or grass of Medium/High/VeryHigh
  • Dozens of corrections in which do not make sense not to have in your GTA, as mouse stopping working, wrong mouse sensibility, fix parachute landing animation, randomly release wheel when a car explodes etc.
  • In this mod have all functions of Stream Ini Extender and much more.
  • All easily configurable by the .ini file

Functions for mod itself:

  • Enable/disable Mix Sets
  • Time delay for activation of Mix Sets
  • Command to reload in-game the configuration file
  • Language of Mix Sets warnings in game
  • Check if the version of your .exe is compatible (Crack 1.0 US of Hoodlum or Crack 1.0 US Compact of Listener)
  • Enable the auto reload of ini file (invisible)
  • Time delay to ini file be auto reloaded
  • Create your custom functions (read the end of .ini)
  • Do not load the distance functions (rapid activation to disable the high number of vehicles etc. If lag)
  • Not load functions that are considered cheating / hacking case is in SAMP

Functions for GTA SA:

  • Memory size to be used in game (in Megabytes). Basically the Memory Fix, but now you can put how many MB you want (up to 2 GB).
  • FPS limit to enable/disable the FPS limiter in game menu. Include "AUTO" mode that control your FPS to don't have bugs of high FPS.
  • Process priority of game. Do your CPU process the game over (or under) other processes.
  • Frame Delay, your GTA increase up to 20% of FPS (other mods as SilentPatch already have this)
  • Overwrite the level of anti-aliasing up to the game offers. Include commands in-game to quickly change it.
  • Violence censore as some countries as Japan.
  • Disables all sound processes of the game (can increase FPS).
  • Disables the radio station changing when entering in a tuning garage.
  • Disables wheel angle limit at high speeds, perfect to play with joystick or steering wheel, or for those who enjoy drift.
  • Disables all cheats.
  • Disables weapons crosshair.
  • Disables replay processes.
  • Disables flying height limit.
  • Disables jetpack height limit.
  • Disables pause when you minimize.
  • Disables stats notifications.
  • Disables the camera FPS looking around after you stay long with the player stopped.
  • Disables peds talking to you.
  • Disables interior songs.
  • Disables health indication of some ped when you aim it.
  • Disables the camera when entering some interior.
  • Disables the derailment of trains.
  • Disables the wheel back to stay straight when you leave the car.
  • Disables change car color to white when you add a paintjob.
  • Disables the camera zoom while aiming at the drive-by. 
  • Disables the camera changing and game slowing down when jumping with a vehicle (stunt).
  • Remove money zeros shown on the screen.
  • Forces cars to stay with lights on always, even in daylight.
  • Forces underwater effect.
  • Can enter in all possible houses (as in robbery sub-mission).
  • Does the game continue loading the map in high quality even while flying.
  • Forces the car like camera in trains.
  • Size of energy/life/health bar.
  • Speed to turn the wheel.
  • Average brake power for all cars.
  • Min brake power for all cars.
  • Do you have to release the brake button and press again to so engage reverse gear (like some racing games).
  • Rotation speed for propellers of helicopters, airplanes etc.
  • Movement speed of helicopters.
  • Elevator speed (Dumper, Forklift etc).
  • Cars upside down not firing and exploding.
  • Power to decrease when you (or peds) are upside down in car. (Used in conjunction with the above)
  • Energy/health/life of peds. - Very compatible with missions and mods.
  • Energy/health/life of vehicles. (Idem)
  • Fixes bug mouse stops working sometimes when you pause and unpause the game.
  • Fixes when you change ("scrolls") the weapon and it's reload automatically.
  • Renables the cheat "cars driving in water", a removed cheat in PC version.
  • Fixes "black roads" that appear on the horizon in several locations. In addition, it can add to serve DK mod disabling other mods black roads for his work properly. (recommended)
  • Fixes cars not turning on the lights with the engine off.
  • Fixes vertical mouse sensitivity.
  • Fixes the parachute landing animation. [video]
  • Disables wanted stars during vigilante missions.
  • The light texture on the floor will move smoothly in street cars.
  • Idem above, now for shadows.
  • Originally when a vehicle explodes always comes out the left front wheel. Now any of the four wheels will out randomly.
  • Fix or disable lensflare on fires.
  • Vehicle density (amount of vehicles in roads).
  • Random vehicle limit.
  • Distance to the vehicle disappear (on screen).
  • Distance to the vehicle disappear (off screen).
  • Distance to see a vehicle LOD. (you downloaded a vehicle that became bugged in horizon? A airplane became invisible in air? Increase this to fix)
  • Pedestrian density in exterior (amount of peds in sidewalks).
  • Pedestrian density in interior.
  • Random pedestrian limit.
  • Distance to the ped appear (on screen).
  • Distance to the ped appear (off screen).
  • Distance to the ped disappear (on screen).
  • Distance to the ped disappear (off screen).
  • Distance to view pedestrians (draw distance).
  • Maximum distance to the grass appear.
  • Minimum distance to the grass appear.
  • Distance to beach towels appear (on screen).

  • Time to disappear blood texture on the floor caused by impacts (NPC).
  • Time to disappear blood texture on the floor caused by impacts (player).
  • Time to disappear blood texture on the floor caused by knife, chainsaw etc.
  • Time to disappear the explosion of texture on the floor.  [30000 is default].
  • Disables blur motion when you release the nitro (other Motion Blur continues).
  • Disables motion blur (when your car runs).
  • Disables "vertigo effect" (zoom out when the car runs very fast)
  • Disables heat effect on screen.
  • Disables noise effect of glasses (night and thermal vision).
  • Disables grass from medium+.
  • Disables birds.
  • Disables coronas (bright of lights).
  • Disables clouds, moon and stars, almost exclusive function for mods SkyBox, simply enable this feature you will not need to replace your particle.txd that usually comes in SkyBox mods.
  • Disables Sun. May be usefull to Skybox mods.
  • Disables volumectric clouds (those extremely heavy that give much lag (the other clouds still) seen when you fly too high).
  • Disables normal clouds (small, low). (may increase FPS too)
  • Disables textures.
  • Disables several small special effects that will increase FPS.
  • Disables effects of flashlights.
  • Disables fakes airplanes (those white lines in the sky).
  • Disables reflections of cull areas such as mirrors of shops. - Fixes a bug when you minimize the game.
  • Disables lensflare (as bright of Sun on screen etc).
  • Disables fog "clouds" (in fogs weathers) that cause lags.
  • Disables stream of water when it rains, those kinds of "clouds" of water all over the place.
  • Disables noise effect on screen when rains.
  • Disables sands (from sandstorms).
  • Disables streaks of rains falling.
  • Geral size of the Sun.
  • Spreading sparks in the collision of cars with solid objects.
  • Strength/speed of sparks caused by gunfires.
  • Spreading sparks caused by gunfire.
  • Size of dust caused by gunfire on land and sand.
  • Size of smoke from tire when starting, burnouting and skidding. (decrease the size of tire smokes to don't loose FPS when you brake, skid etc.)
  • Multiplier size of smoke for a drift/skid.
  • Size of tire smoke while braking.
  • Maximum value of randomization of the tone (brightness) of the smoke.
  • Mininum value (idem above).
  • Forces static shadows on pedestrians.
  • Forces static shadows on vehicles.
  • Opacity of dynamic shadows.
  • Disables the lighter square in the water (which is around you).
  • Size of the lighter square. Increase it to fix this.
  • Add height limit to see the lighter square in the water (the waves). Can increase FPS when you're flying over the sea etc
  • Disable this lighter square (waves) while you're in an airplane.

  • Filter for textures of CJ, menu and shadows.
  • Texture filter (minimum).

  • A tiny difference in the car's brightness depends on the camera position.
  • Intensity multiplier of a light (flashlight) hitting a car.

  • Time in milliseconds of the rate of creation of marks. Decrease to get more rounded tire marks.
  • Height of marks from the ground. Decrease to get tire marks closer to ground.

  • Maximum number of Hydras chasing you.
  • Waiting time for the creation of each Hydra.
  • Time randomizer to the helicopter shot you.
  • Disables ground to air missile (which shoots your plane).
  • Disables Hydras missiles chasing you.
  • Wanted starts entering in a military zone.
  • Wanted starts when go to the SF zone without permission.
  • Wanted starts when go to the LV zone without permission.
  • Gravity.
  • Enabling, you can walk, drive, fly etc underwater as if it didn't exist.
  • Freeze some weather.
  • Time when you load your save.
  • Enable locked clock.
  • How many minutes are required to pass one day in the game. Use 48 to be equal GTA V and other current games.
  • Force the spawn of cars in CAR Section (IPL mods). For advanced users.
  • More hostile gangs (gangs kicking your car).

It was still to have more!
41 functions have left to enter in MixSets to have their own mod:
EnhancedTXD (or ECG).

Works perfect but have a little bug: When I use the camera or the rocketlauncher, the aim (pointer) I move it and the movement is so slow. How can fix it?

so far I have not found any incompatibility

this mod only changes some memory addresses, thats a bit hard to crash/bug with other mod, if other mod changes this addresses too, Mix Sets will only overwrite it

Well I tested a lot the script, enabling and disabling features and the AIM bug of the camera, rocketlauncher, etc is definitely caused by the HeliMovSpeed option, I modified the value to their default one and now works correctly. Probably need to be rewritten.

 

EDIT:

Forget it, the error still here when I play with joystick. Instead with mouse and keyboard works correctly. A little strange.

Also this mod fixes the "one-sided" texture bug on cars (so the bug which makes parts invisible from one side when you turn on headlights) bug in the game. Is there a way to turn this fix off? I play with car mods which uses this bug for lights, and I would turn this off if possible.

 

 

EDIT: the invisible texture thing can be turned on/off with the headlight beam effect

the corona problem: it looks okay only if I set those to "-1". If I change it to anything other, then I get the moon as headlight corona.

 

the two side texture: if I disable the headlight beam triangle thing, then that fixes the two sides texture too. I made some test by cutting the memory write commands from the script, and it fixes the two side texture bug only it both of the triangle getting removed. The third memory write doesn't matter if there or not.

Other bug, this one is serious. All parked cars, planes, etc disappears. Doesn't appear anymore. I'm gonna test enabling and disabling some functions, probably is one of that need to be rewritten. If no, is the whole code or some part of it.

 

EDIT:

Well I tested it and nothing, in a clean game the script crashes with all options disabled, I tested on my modded game and works fine, but only I disabled the Vehicle Density for test and nothing, the parked vehicles doesn't appears. I don't think the other options are the problem, if you can look into it would be nice.

 Anyway, I returned with the mod, now its possible to ignore the function with ";"
 
and some new nice functions:

  • cruise speed limit for the traffic... thats nice to put a limit in the speed, some drivers are a bit crazy
  • trailers and bikes (bmx, bike and mountain bike) don't explodes
  • (by fabio3) distance to trains desappears

(below, is some functions of LINK/2012 that shared to me)

  • disable volumetric clouds (the lagggy and big clouds) - nice thing!
  • disable low/normal clouds
  • disable water stream (like fog, when rain) - nice thing!
  • disable noise effect when rain - nice thing!
  • disable sand of sandstorms
  • disable rainstreaks
  • disable planes's chaintrails (fakes planes in the sky)
  • disable noise effect of goggles (thermal and night vision)

and a fix: Black Roads Fix of old Mix Sets and some others mods have a problem... the bug returns after some minutes playing, now i fixed this in Mix Sets (I don't know if SilentPatch or Stream INI Extender have this problem too) edit: yes, Stream INI Extender have this bug, SilentPatch I don't know
 
almost 100 functions! :p
 
I will put more functions yet, AND I DON'T TRANSLATED THE BETA TO ENGLISH YET 'cause I'm releasing some beta tests here (forum in portuguese and nasty slangs), when I finish, I will translate again and release the Mix Sets 1.1

Holy sh*tballs! I gotta try this out!

Just one questionm please can you increase the vehicles distance? It is really annoying to see those cars are popping in out of nowhere.

They just appears like "plop" at like 30 meters or so. And also a seperate .cs of this?

What about the petrol trailer? It still explodes right?

Just one questionm please can you increase the vehicles distance? It is really annoying to see those cars are popping in out of nowhere.

They just appears like "plop" at like 30 meters or so. And also a seperate .cs of this?

I don't know yet :c

currently, only have this:

VehLODdist       = 200.0      ; Distance to view the LOD (Low Object Detail) of a vehicle  [70.0 is default]
VehDespOnScr     = 300.0      ; Distance to vehicle disappear (on screen)  [110.0 is default]
VehDespOffScr    = 200.0      ; (Don't working?) Distance to vehicle disappear (off screen)  [42.25 is default]

if someone know a memory address to make the cars appears farther, tell me!

 

btw: why separated .cs? if you only want this, disable all functions of mix sets except this :p

man, Mix Sets works with a configurable ini file instead separated files...

it is illogical to use 100 .cs files instead a simple and efficient ini file with all functions to you choose

 

 

as I said to do, if crash, you can disable some functions (or use the .ini already configured with all functions disabled and enable some functions) to then you found what function are doing this crash (if you found, say here, will help)

 

and, remember, only works in crack 1.0 US hoodlum
