Anyone with a modelling program, could someone take the perestroika cowboy ped (just search cowboy in OpenIV pedcomponents.img) and then remove the sheriff badge from his vest?

 

i don´t know why you wan´t this but here:

the badge is still there, but almost invisible.

i don´t know why you wan´t this but here:

I want to recreate Terry's beta clothes (although not 100% faithful one, and I believe it will end up better that way) via OpenIV Openformats and retexturing, and the cowboy ped's torso is the closest possible I could ever get to it :p

 

Edit: sh*t, that badge still ends up being noticeable because it's just a retexture :(

I request a car mod, XF GTI from LFS, with the original UV mapping and livery support, so original and custom skins from the game are supported.

I think from the LFS CMX Viewer (https://www.lfs.net/...S_VIEWER_6A.exe) it can be converted from cmx to obj then ported over to GTA IV format with ZModeler or something.

Also if possible keep the car's original wheels.

I don't know if people still view this thread, but is there a script that can allow you to alter the weapons that the cops/ swat uses?

Ability to get lapdances in the TLAD Clubhouse would be nice. I recall seeing an image on google of just that, but I couldn't track the mod down, let alone find the image again.

Freeway Classic: I never liked the IV version of the Freeway motorcycle. The square behind the headlight, the low handlebars and the ugly taillight made it look horrible. If someone could make it more like the SA version, I'd be really happy.

I've managed to get the World Trade Center Mod for IV, but not EFLC, as the one I have does not work for it. Does anyone have the files for the EFLC version of the World Trade Center Mod that I can manually install ? I'd be so grateful ! You can send me a PM if you wish to.

If you look really closely in GTA 5, especially through the editor mode, you can see the guns actually working and stuff, like the hammer actually hitting the bullet, and the shell falling out, and so on.

I was wondering if there was a mod like that for GTA IV, and if somebody could help me find it out.

I understand, that it would be really difficult to make it, but I just thought I might as well just take a chance asking.

I have a request for a car mod based on The Car from the 1977 movie of the same name for gta iv the car should have Totally blacked out windows the interior should be black leather. the interior can be taken form any 70s car as long as its black i can give the one who wants to make this mod the audio clip for the horn the handling should be a fast and powerful car that is super heavy and that cant easily be flipped  here are some pics

I have just one request. I need a 'Crazy Drivers' mod similar to the one created for GTA V. There doesn't seem to be a GTA IV counterpart for this mod.

 

I've only found one mod that is closely capable of recreating this experience or circumstance, called Havoc.

The Havoc mod however affects the drivers that are in your vicinity, and not every driver in each spawned car as with the GTA V mod. You also have to repeatedly press a hotkey to activate the script and only one group of crazy drivers in your vicinity can be active at once; you can't have two individual groups of crazy drivers. This doesn't offer a true or rewarding experience in my opinion.

This mod also allows you to control the behaviors of the crazy drivers, such as allowing the user to adjust the speed in which they drive, which hotkey activates the script, and conditionally if the drivers obey traffic laws like speed limits and signals, which are interesting aspects of the mod. There is a counter or indicator to show which drivers were injured or have died in car accidents while the script is activated as well.

 

Essentially, is anyone able to create a mod like this? I imagine it wouldn't be too terribly hard, and it would be insanely fun and interesting to play the game under the condition of everyone driving recklessly.

A huge thanks to the person who decides to create a mod like this for GTA IV.

I just would like GTA4 cops and maybe the swat guys if its not too much extra trouble, to all use bats instead of guns.

i think it would only be possible when we could edit the for example game.dat16 files, and i think it´s not possible

Nope. I already did all the things the thread said. The menu selection pops out, but I can't play the Episodes.

EDIT: Fixed now. It works like a charm.

Unfortunately the models have a different bone structure to in-game models - they can be spawned but their upper bodies are at 90 degrees to their legs.

and the .wft files contain the bone structure, this means when you replace cs_brucie.wft with ig_Brucie.wft.
is the model not deformed.
but when you do this, you can't play a cutscene with Brucie in our example.
