Did I need to say "the mod is beautiful, great and awesome"? My comment is rude just because I didn't say this? You [people in Map mods subforums] are so primitive...
I just asked for detailed description in first post. Same as Majestic did.

I just asked for detailed description in first post. Same as Majestic did.

Folks became so oversensitive here, they're used to positive feedback and can't deal with anything that may sound a bit harsh and first but at 2nd look is nothing but constructive criticism. I personally like your "spiced up" way of feedback and commenting.

Sorry mate, but it looks like sh*t.

If you really want to retexture the whole map, I suggest you to use XBOX textures as base. You can either remake them by hand, or if you're a (no offense intended) novice to this, redo them with some more simple tricks:

 

  • The mobile versions of VC and SA got some decent detail-maps, you can scale them properly and add them onto the base texture. There are several detailmap available for different types of materials.
  • Some textures may not fit perfectly onto objects or appear very big and unnatural (e.g. small bricks on the wall). Rescale them with photoshop/gimp and try until you're satisfied with the result. Although a bit time consuming, the result is worth the time.
  • If you got access to programms with special resizing algorithms or smart sharpening, you can use them to finetune the textures. It may be a cheap way, but for beginners the results are pretty decent if done/configured properly.

At last, I could spare some of my free time to help you out. I quit modding a time ago, but due to some personal changes the opportunity has arisen to fill my time gap with something more productive.

hmm... maybe an interior to a small shop their aswell (maybe a coffee shop nestled near the tree)

 

aswell as some graffiti on a wall (similar to the other court...) try to make it look as if it were a small hideaway recreational area o.o
