As we all know, Claude from GTA III doesn't talk. But if he DID, then what do you guys think he would say, and would it affect the story?

He would have been some kind of guy that has a very dark and brutal sense of humor.

I imagine him as being serious, in the way Niko Bellic or Max Payne is.

I imagine his voice being kinda deep.

"Take that bitch"... once the chopper was blown up

If he spoke, he'd still be a man of few words

Yeah, he's better that way. IMO he only would talk in a couple of time during the whole game, in some special ocations, with a deep voice and a badass attitude.

I think he would be similar to Ryan Gosling's character in Drive. Only say what he needs to say.

It's hard to imagine how the game would be if he actually spoke honestly :p

If he did though, I'd prefer it to be at random times.. almost like in the first Saints Row, no more than like 10 times in the entire game or less.

He would be very very loud and would talk at inappropriate times.

Impossibru! They didn't exist in 2001! Unless an Ultra-HD remaster happens!

Agreed, He would not be an arguing person, he would probably tell some other characters to shut up sometimes I think, because he would be concentrated on his task and he wouldn't make much inappropiate comments. Like Tommy Vercetti said he wouldn't be a ''Big mouth no balls'' type of guy

Simple to say the answer. It might totally ruin the game and the Storyline.

If he had spoken. It would be a man of few words. Appropriate for a just small time man.

Am I the only one that always imagined Claude with a high pitched voice, which is the reason why he kept quiet lol.  :lol:

He was a former Canadian hockey player, that´s why he keeps his mouth shut.

i have a question, there are some times where the game shows up the objectives in a green font, but the texts may seem to be spoken in a way that makes me believe these are Claude's thoughts.  does anyone else feel this way?

Maybe you are on to something. Maybe it's the way that Claude talks to you.

If he did talk, he should be voiced by Ross Scott, and have mega sarcasm like Gordon does is Freeman's Mind.

It would be hilarious.

"Leave me alone! I've only ran over like... erm... 30 people."

======

*see's rhino chasing him* "OHGOD! IS THAT A f*ckING TANK! WHY IS THERE A TANK? AM I THAT MUCH OF A PROBLEM?"

"GO HOME MILITARY! LET THE POLICE DO THEIR JOB, YOU'RE NOT SUPPOST TO BE HERE, HOLY f*ck!"

"AT EASE SOLDIER!"

*sprays gunfire"

"I SAID AT EASE, SOLDER!!"

======

"Can i have your car? ...oh..." *Pulls out pistol* "Can i have it now? ... Thanks, dude."

Protagonists never talked in GTA1 and GTA2 so why should they in GTA3?

They probably did their vision of a speaking character in GTA Vice City. After all it was going to be an addon for GTA3. I imagine Claude talking like Tommy when in a serious situation but just with fewer words. Instead of "Go get some sleep!" just "Sleep!" and instead of "I'll drop by your office tomorrow and we start sorting this mess out." just "Tomorrow we will begin sorting this mess out."

Talking would ruin the atmosphere. It's useless.

If Claude talked, he would have still been the guy who works more and talks less. I think the mute character suited him after all.

Let's hope he'd sound more like Brad Pitt rather than Ed Norton.
