Guys, RR is still a good grinding mission.

RBH2KBs.png

This was 3 people on hard in 3 minutes and 30 secs. 15 minutes(max payout) divided by 3 is 5, lets account for loading times, and say you could complete RR 3 times in under 15 minutes. You'd be making 30K as opposed to 26K.

Not bad, but wait 30 seconds and you'd get $13,500 each.  The optimum time to finish any mission is definitely just over 4mins.

Okay, checking potshot which can be finished around 2 minutes 50 seconds, you can get any pay out you want, and its pretty clear the 3.1 and the 4.1 payouts are the most rewarding, but which one is the better of the two?

On the surface they're almost identical.

With 60 minutes of grinding, you can get:

3.1($7310)- $146,200

4.1($9750)- $146,250

Seems like it doesn't matter which you choose right? Well kinda wrong. Once you factor in waiting times(on a 16x potshot playlist) there is a slight difference between the two.

My wait time, from the cutscenes in the mission, and the lobby waiting, it runs around 1 minute 13 sec.

The 3.1 can be completed 20 times in the 60 minutes (not including wait times) so when you include the wait times, the time to earn $146,200 is 82.6 minutes.

The 4.1 reaches 146,250 in 76.95 minutes.

So from what we see, if you are a serious number cruncher and want the absolute effecient way to grind potshot, you are best to finish in the 4.1 range.

But if you are just grinding and a few couple thousand really doesn't matter to you, then either the 3.1 or 4.1 will be fine.

If there are any flaws or better ways to complete this mission, correct me, i have this playlist but i don't know how to find other playlists for other missions so this is what i will be grinding. Thanks :D

Here are the 'f' values for the missions I've actually gone through so far - so it's obviously not a complete list.  These are the payouts you'd get if you do each of them solo, hard, in more than 4 but less than 6 minutes:

Rich Men in Richman	9150
Where Credit's Due	9150
Ballas to the Wall	9160
Deal Breaker	9180
Flood in the LS River	9180
Death Metal	9186
Meth'd Up	9212
All in the Game	9300
Gassed Up	9358
Blow Up	9360
Romance isn't Dead	9390
Denial of Service	9421
Crystal Clearout II	9483
On The List	9541
Artificial Scarcity	9566.67
Hard Labor	9568
Dirt Road	9572
Blow Up II	9600
Caught Napping	9600
Going Down the GOH	9600
Time To Get Away	9630
A Titan of a Job	9722.22
Coasting	9750
High Priority Case	9750
Lost MC RIP	9750
Potshot	9750
Base Invaders	9807
Crank Up the Volume	9900
No Smoking	9900
War and Pieces	9900
Blow Up III	9930
Check Out Time	10050
Chumash and Grab	10053
Coveted	10077
A Boat in the Bay	10200
Crystal Clearout III	10200
Teaser Trailer	10205
Editor and Thief	10346
Cleaning the Cat House	10350
Mixed up with Coke	10350
Extradition	10500
Bust Out	10650
American Exports	10950
Chopper Tail	11100
Rooftop Rumble	11250
Trash Talk	11430

Where the number doesn't end in zero there's a rounding error somewhere, but it's correct to the nearest $10.  And I spotted an error in my previous figures; the lowest isn't $8400 as I'd previously said, but $9150.  Oh, and I'm not suggesting you can actually do these in 4 minutes so you need to scale accordingly :)

I appreciate all the effort you've put into compiling this list, something just occurred to me, though. R* said that there were ongoing bonuses to RP/cash and that we would know by the icon of that mission in the selection screen. I'm guessing it is the blue vs white mission type icon on the selection screen, but do we know what the percentage difference of blue vs white missions and has that already been taken into account?

- News screens shown during transitions will now alert players if some Jobs have RP or Cash bonuses for playing them

You know, I had been wondering what the blue and white colours for the icons meant.  I suspected it was about newly released jobs, but hadn't spent any time trying to work it out for sure.  Most of my figures were obtained by starting missions from the Start menu anyway, so I wouldn't have been able to see an icon when choosing them.

Now I've gone through more missions (both from the vote screen with crew and alone) the money calculations still work every time so I don't know if there are any cash bonuses currently.  That quote indicates that it's the splash screens, rather than the vote screens, which indicate bonuses too.

true, i haven't seen anything on the splash screens, but did notice the icons on the vote screen. I haven't paid real close attention to which missions are blue or white, but the missions I play the most are of the white icon variety.

This x10000000000000 so many people forget to add in the wait times when comparing missions.

Are they actually missions or races? I know races with white icons are just verified races. I've never seen white icons on any R* jobs

Weren't those ones that were being promoted as double $/RP are part of the special 'Flight School' weekend event?

They were air-races, and parachuting - not missions or races, DMs, LTSs...

The only difference I have been able to see between blue and white icons is that blue are Rockstar creations, and white are verified jobs.

Hah, my new favorite Rich Men in Richman is the lowest. But as I suspected, it's pretty even across the board, so just play a mission and it's over when it's over. No need to grind the same thing, no need to rush, this is how the missions were intended to be played.

Pretty much how I feel, everything pay's out pretty fairly now. I have no complaints.

Also I like your profile pic. Never seen an NPC like that.
