~The Ultimate Traffic Mod~

This is the all in one mod you want.

I have taken out the Tanks and Barracks only from the wanted level.
I have added , depending on the city , the correct police vehicles cars.
In place of the tank and barrack.
As well as #COPCARRU for the country zones

Really is like a dukes of hazard now.

But that is not all.

Road barriers and blocks also are spawned.
This part will only happen at 6 stars.

The normal barricades are still there.
Tons of Impossible Police mayhem.

I never liked police traffic just going through lights or busting through traffic.
For no reason. I fixed that.

Sometimes police just walking away , way better now.

All police get out of the vehicles when you are on foot , within a certain radius.
Cars Bikes Ect.

All police will follow you better. Perfect almost.

Peds and cops in cars honk or use siren  when you drive too close.

A wanted star for a weapon visible. <-<- this part i seen somewhere but ,
this one is more authentic to reality. A hundred yards away wont get you a star , or in a car.

Taxis have a passenger and a light on with a passenger.
 
All car Variations
Even a 3 Mirror Cheetah.
White and Black Stretch Limos

Cop and Medic Uniform as well as
the Emergency , police, and taxi's
suspend your wanted level.
Anything above 2 for a taxi will not.
You must be a certain distance from police.
Uniforms are instantaneous.
All Flying Vehicles Give you a parachute.


One awesome mod. One File.

 

 

To install Place the Ultimate.cs file in the cleo directory.

Note:this is revised and now complete.
It is not active on missions.Only

What do you mean by these vehicles? I really like this idea btw, especially the taxis carrying passengers bit.

Hey there,

Yes within traffic , they are spawned randomly.
For the limos though i have to do specific coding.
Alot of features within this mod.
Mostly traffic oriented.

Initially it was a more profound mod with more than traffic features but i took alot out because i didnt know if it would be accepted because i had so much in it.
Besides traffic.

it had opened up area 51 and had the girl friends mod within it and more.

Now mostly traffic. Car variations. Taxis do and dont have passengers. Male01.

Everything to do with traffic.+
It enhances the police as well as peds that drive. So they 99% of the time follow traffic unless something happens to them.

It is there as it is. It really is an ultimate traffic mod.

Ill try to get a pic. It has two regular side mirrors. Plus one on the drivers side , right above the other. Maybe there is a four mirror one. I drove it and didnt have my cam program on to save it and was doing stuff with testing.

Oh cool, so it's a new model then? And you're saying that the Stretch limos will behave in the same way as Taxis do?

Wow, this mod has some really nice stuff in it! Do you reckon there's a way to make highway traffic behave less unpredictable? For instance, would it be possible to make something where traffic in front of you do not switch lanes (so it creates less crashes and pile-ups on highways)?

I havent tried that , but with the mod , there is far less pile ups. I asure you.

Maybe with wanted stars more than 2 but. All traffic basically behaves as they should.

As the police , if you arent in sight with stars they will remain patient until they have visual.

 

Even within the code , is a radius where if you arent around police your entire wanted level will suspend. Check the code. There is alot more i could do. As with any mod.

 

I could sit down as make a entire work up and fix every mod and make every mod better.

As anyone witht he time.

 

If you guys have suggestions and want alot of extra stuff within it , i can do that.

 

Lets get some people really liking this and ill do it.


The no speeding mod , i have , check the pro. Really does some work , for the vehicles.

 

Harder to drive on dirt , more realistic , to me.

 

Turning ect , has a better feel.


The crashes even seem to be stun stopped at certain rates of speed.

 

I do have a number of other mods.

 

Not nearly as big as this one but are pretty cool.

 

Ill put them on in the next few days. Maybe today if i get the urge.


Ive played the game , and see where and what needs done and i correct or enhance.

 

I bet with this traffic mod your days beating a 5 or six star are out , unless you have a health mod. Which is really simple to make.

hehe, I'm already really liking it, so you have one person already. I've always been looking for a good traffic mod for this game. I have a couple more suggestions:

Is it possible for drivers not to get impatient when waiting in a queue or at a red light? Because when impatient drivers (especially Taxi drivers, they cause all the crashes :D) smash through all the oncoming traffic after waiting in a queue for a while it looks really bad.

Is it possible for vehicles like the Linerunner, Tanker etc. to carry their respected trailers? So for example the Tanker could carry the tanker trailer, and both the Linerunner and Roadtrain could carry articulated ones.

There should be a trailer mod here on site. I dont make mods that others do , and if i did. I would rep the coder and ask prior.
One thing to remember. Almost everything within main.scm is within almost every mod. It is already there. If you get stuck and you are using an OPcode. Review how it is done within the main.scm. Good reference.

Yeah it's one that ZAZ made but it spawns all vehicles that can use trailers everywhere in San Andreas, which is a bit unrealistic in my opinion. It's really weird if you see a Baggage car towing some baggage in the middle of the countryside. :D

I would use it but none of the vehicles that are created through that script obey traffic laws, which is a big downside for me. If they did obey the rules of the road I'd use it.

Is there a way to make the vehicles spawn only where they're meant to be spawned? So Baggage vehicles can actually spawn in the airport? :lol:

Yeh its ok , yes i am sure there is with opcode referencing zones and if anything you could manual spawn it if not. I actuall think within the dat files you can change all that , but within a script would be cool also. Havent researched that. Yes the mod is good , have you tried it out.?

Just added within a cleo , and made init_car_generator opcodes Went around with a jetpack and added alot.
LOL yeh spawns , would have been cool with models

Great! I'm really looking forward to this mod!

You know, you should probably add a temporary download link until it gets approved on GTAGarage, because getting approval on there takes a long time sometimes.

Good spawns off hand , which should have been there are two i have. One cropduster at the farm with a combine also on the adjacent field , by the intersection before you hit venturas. From santos.
I have it on another site , which they did reference me to this site. But i dont know if i am allowed to link there.

If you upload it on a website like MediaFire for example, everyone can download it easily. Then when your mod gets approved you can remove the other link and link it to the GTAGarage download instead. :)

it's good, but the highway traffic hasn't really changed much. When vehicles stop at a traffic light the vehicles behind still end up crashing into them causing some pile-ups. The Taxi feature is great btw :D

Thank you , Let me know what youd like and ill get to doing something when i can. Did you try to get wanted.
If you wanta try the others , i made them all in collaboration.
See how far you get without dying.
I did do what you are speaking of , now that i think of it. But changing the max speed on the highway , results in slow traffic.
using Car.SetMaxSpeed(36@, 20.0) or other than , results in very slow traffic

all police follow and attack , they dont just walk away.

I have some really strange bugs that only occurred when I installed this mod, the first one is that the radar gets messed up when I travel at a certain speed and the second one is that in the night time the whole screen turns a grey colour.

i dont have any modifications to the screen , i dont know what exactly has been that issue.

I have though been updating today. when i could and have extramly enhance what there was.

I will get it on soon , and through the post i have come up with some things.

Seriously though , look at the code.

Nothing that would change , the screen.

Possibly the older code , which on the download , referenced an update , before the post here happened.

Which had variables of screen darkness and only certain weather through certain periods of the day.

I will post some thing here this next hour and Put in the details for a WIP , for an actual , ultimate code.

As of this moment this is the update.

Update (1)
There arent any real pileups unless , you have a wanted star , or shoot a gun or have a gun near a ped.
Certain Cars Spawn a paintjob.
Some peds enter , Taxis.
I have included the #fbirancher within the coding.
Now all police that will be used that are regular vehicles are in the code.

For the police

I will be adding helicopter traffic #models
I will be adding plane traffic #models
I will be adding , when close to a vehicle with hydraulics.
It leans.

Various other things.

Now this is traffic only , anything to do with traffic.

Which soon , it will have everything that i can get coded with everything possible that i can think of.
Concerning Traffic.
That fixes things.

Since our posts.

Ive decided , i will do that.
And change all of this into a WIP.

Sorry about thinking the bugs were from this mod, they were from a radar zoom script I had (which I now no longer use). I really like the new added features you've put in, like the paintjobs on random cars, peds getting in Taxis etc. makes a nice touch to SA's traffic.

I have another suggestion, do you remember playing Vice City and sometimes a Coach stops at certain bus stops and drops off passengers? Would that be possible in SA?

Yeh i think that is on a mod someone did. Maybe samp , I would have to , call bus model , Then , object id
when bus is near object.
When no peds or cars near playeractor is when all stars go away
